Large area with heated tents and rooms in the building. The buffet was very rich with many different dishes. Delicious. Service friendly and attentive.

Great selection from a huge buffet. No wish is left unfulfilled. Everything was very tasty and it was constantly being refilled. Great service at the table too. In winter it can get cold on the way from the seat (e.g. tent) to the buffet (main building) or the toilets. But otherwise great.

ATTENTION NOT SUITABLE FOR VEGANS We were at Wimmers today. In advance we give 5 points for service and ambience because it was really good. Drinks were served super quickly and the waitresses were all very friendly. Now the big BUT: If I write the following on the homepage: "Of course, we also have a selection of suitable dishes for allergy sufferers, vegetarians and vegans. With us, not only will everyone find what they're looking for, but they'll also be full!" I expect that too. The operators themselves, as affected customers, would probably not accept what they get for the price as a vegan. Sure, you'll get full if you just limit yourself to "side dishes". As a vegan, I don't expect to get the full choice, but if there are no alternatives at all, for example. with the cakes, then that's weak. If you only offer whole pasta as pasta (although pasta consumption in Germany tends more towards durum wheat semolina pasta) instead of simply durum wheat semolina pasta, then you are depriving yourself of further choices that could easily be created. We therefore have to advise all vegans not to visit the location, as you will be more likely to be disappointed there. After all, you pay the same price there for a fraction of the selection and it is presented differently on the homepage.

All you can eat buffet. Soups, salads, fish, meat, sauces, side dishes of all kinds, hot and cold dishes, desserts and everything your heart desires. We've been going there for a while, not too often as it's not exactly cheap, but so far it's always been good. We were there again on All Saints Day and unfortunately the quality of the food had deteriorated extremely, the sauces were watery and had hardly any taste, the beef was very tough and mixed, and the tomato mozzarella had inedible green mush on it. We won't go there anymore, the price is no longer right, it's a shame

Mega large buffet, very rich and delicious! It's definitely worth the price. The house lemonades taste good and there are even cheese platters, soups and an extra grill buffet outside. You can sit in the main building, but also in large tents, huts or small barrels (for 2-4 people, I think). It is remote but you can easily find it. The staff is also friendly. We've been coming here off and on for a few years.

I've been there for the third time now, not because I think it's that good, but because I don't want to cancel the company event. First of all: I don't eat anything spicy or particularly spicy, but even for me this meal (main courses) is largely tasteless. My food Starter (really good start): Fresh leaf salad with a really great honey mustard dressing, beetroot and some beef with egg salad. Very good! Then the disillusionment: Since I took fish from the grill (salmon and plaice fillet), I went to the buffet for side dishes. Add yellow rice and some of the light dill sauce. This combo should be great! What can I say, the sauce was warm watery, slightly sweet milk without any spice. I didn't notice the dill taste at all. Very good fish, but basically with rice pudding. Terrible! I folded in the mussels, but instead of a white wine or tomato stock, the mussels were cooked in water with leek and carrot. So the taste is not worth mentioning either. Next main course: I'd love to grill meat now. Pork steak not finished right now, bratwurst looks good, beef steak is kept warm and looks dry. Bad luck, but there is still a buffet. So I changed my mind and had some roast beef, mini beef roulade and sliced ​​turkey. Plus a slice of napkin dumplings and some potato gratin. Roast beef nice and tender and good sauce. Everything else tastes the same in most canteens. Dessert is then again very good. Chocolate covered banana, chocolate pudding and warm cherry cheesecake with vanilla sauce. Conclusion: I would have been better off taking 2x starters and 2x dessert. And I can't understand all the good reviews. The staff is definitely worth mentioning positively.

Quantity instead of class. That's probably the Wimmers' motto. We have been here several times, simply because it is suitable for larger groups. But the quality of the food is mediocre at best. It's actually too expensive for the quality, unless you want to stuff your stomach.

Went there yesterday with eleven people. Yes, the selection is huge, but you can't do more than eat, and that's why 29.50 for the buffet is decidedly too high (plus the tent atmosphere). The no-go, however, is the drink prices: beer is not on tap, but comes in a bottle. In the purchase a maximum of 50 ct., 5.20 is required!!! A good alternative is the "Besenhex" in Östringen/ Tiefenbach: here the menu is smaller, but still completely sufficient. 10 less and - all drinks except schnapps and sparkling wine are INCLUDED! Wimmers: cut a slice of it! You'll never see me again! And the fact that the owners react zero to justified criticism also speaks for itself...

Das Ambiente ist recht ansprechend vor allem im Freien. Aber das war es auch schon. Das Buffet ist riesig aber die Essensqualität einfach nur mangelhaft. Nichts schmeckt weder die Hauptgerichte noch die Beilagen und die Suppe kommt direkt aus der Dose. Und das alles zu einem völlig überteuerten Preis. Uns sieht man dort definitiv nicht mehr.

We were here for the first time, the selection is huge, it overwhelmed us, there is a complete range, from soup to ice cream or cake. It is possible to sit directly in the garden or as a group in a tent. We liked it, we were here as a group and had a tent.

Everything was good. For "all inclusive" there is nothing to complain about. If you have something to complain about, you have to go out to eat “alacarte”!

I have rarely seen such a large buffet that was so well organized and really tasty. You have a bit of everything. Whether it's a large salad bar, grill station with everything from meat, Schupfnudeln, pork medallions, fish dishes, Maultaschen, rice noodle dishes, paella and much more. The price of €29.50 is absolutely justified and you get great service. Although the whole thing is designed as a beer garden, you can also go there in bad weather because the seating areas are in pavilions. There are enough parking spaces and children also have space to play because the whole thing is in the countryside. Worth every penny and tip!!!!

We were at Wimmer's for a birthday and everything was great. The buffet had a large selection, the salads were great, the service was attentive and the children were well entertained by the soccer field. Nothing was left to be desired. We recommend.

We were there with 11 people. A part of us often. Me and my wife for the first time. We had made a reservation, which went smoothly. We found the ambience quite good for the size. All I can say about the food is that the selection is incredible. Whether it's a starter, a main course or a dessert, you can't list everything. A small suggestion from my side would be...salt shakers and pepper on the tables for seasoning. But it didn't detract from the meal. It's better to add more seasoning than to season it. Nice staff, you also get a good introduction to how and where what is available. The buffet is always filled up and there is always freshly grilled food at the grill station, toilets are also very clean and you can celebrate and have a nice evening at any time. You feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The selection of dishes is very large so that everyone can find something. There was still asparagus when we were there, which was just a shame as the asparagus wasn't peeled properly and was therefore quite tough. The taste of the food is very good, but unfortunately it could be a little hotter. In some cases the meat dishes were only lukewarm. Otherwise, I can only recommend the restaurant whether for family celebrations, meeting friends or a cozy meal for two.

I've heard about here for a long time and finally managed to come here after years. So first of all the food is really ok. But nothing more in my opinion. The taste is missing everywhere, no salt, pepper, just not enough. And I'm definitely not someone who spices things up a lot, in fact I'm reserved. It's a real shame but I'll probably save myself a second visit.

We celebrated a big birthday here at the beginning of May and were very satisfied. We rented pavilion number 1 for ourselves, with a time extension. Our guests, big and small, were thrilled. The personal support from Ms. Meister was perfect. It was a very nice and successful celebration. There was a suitable meal for every guest! We would be happy to come back. Thank you!

Everything tailored to the mass. Service that day was virtually non-existent. Nobody sees new guests (they were there on May 31st and there was almost nothing going on in the beer garden) or when glasses are empty. Sales are being wasted here.

The food was very good and there was a lot of choice, unfortunately no ice cream for dessert that day. Service leaves something to be desired, you often had to call or wait a long time until you could order something to drink again even though it wasn't too full. Still, it's worth going. Also great for children, plus there are several sandpits and soccer fields so that they can find something to play on and you can eat in peace.

However, every effort is being made to ensure that this does not happen so often. The drinks come to the table in bottles, which I personally don't like, and there's only fake cola. We were invited to a relative's 60th birthday party. We really liked it, the food and service were very good. Is only recommended.

In Wimmers you can eat well and in abundance. The various small houses, tents and barrels are rustic for family celebrations. There are also tables with parasols outside. Without a reservation it is difficult to find a place. There are plenty of sandpits and lawns for the little ones to run around in. Can only be recommended. We were invited. From our hometown to Wimmers we have a further journey of 1.5 hours.

We have been going here for family celebrations for many years. Ultimately, I think it's a shame that the food offering hasn't developed at all in recent years. But a bit of fresh air and creativity would do the whole thing a lot of good, so that it would also be a bit more attractive for younger people. I think it's nice that there are also vegetarian versions and that no wish is left unfulfilled. Otherwise I can only say that the service is always super nice, attentive and friendly!

After four hours of travel, I didn't know what to expect, but what was offered to me was terrific. After the initial orientation through the entire buffet, all of the samples were very tasty, especially thanks to the live grill. The service from the waitress was very quick, friendly and, above all, always available. I would never have expected the amenities that I was able to enjoy through Mr. Wimmers personally (who is also an incredibly friendly and courteous owner) to the extent and with the friendliness. 5/5 Clearly deserved and definitely worth the 8 hours on the motorway next year at the latest.

That's not the case, the buffet fun now costs €30. The food is ok, nothing more and nothing less. For this you have to queue like in the canteen. Barking dogs are also very welcome. So if you like it loud and uncomfortable, you've come to the right place. Will forego in the future.

Wimmers offers a rustic atmosphere in heated tents at simple, solid wooden tables. The variety of home-style dishes at the buffets in different rooms is incredible. As a driver, I can't judge the wines and beer. The service at the grill was unfriendly, but the waitresses were otherwise courteous and very friendly. The area around the tents is spacious and equipped with football goals. Wonderful for children who like that. But other play equipment is missing. That's a shame, because the place is particularly designed for families with tons of children's chairs. Give Wimmers a try!
