We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at the restaurant today! There were 18 adults and a toddler in total. I miscounted by three people, but the service was superb and brought out an extra table and chairs! Simply fantastic! The food was once again very good 👍 A large selection, and they kept refilling it! (Brunch buffet!) The service was very attentive! So, all in all, a successful birthday! Thanks again 🤗!

Very poor form... My factual, but unfortunately rather justified, negative 3-star review from April was reported to Google as "defamation" and removed. That's another way to deal with criticism and sugarcoat the reviews. We will never eat here again.

We were there with two families and three small children and deliberately sat a bit off to the side so as not to disturb other guests. We were disappointed right from the start: Our request to the waitress to help us push the tables together was simply ignored – she turned around without comment and walked away. The parasol was particularly problematic: The wind kept swinging dangerously back and forth, almost hitting us in the face – an absolute nuisance with children. We asked twice for the parasol to be closed. Both times, we received a rude response, telling us to please do it ourselves. The third time, we were completely ignored. In the end, the parasol wouldn't close, so the two of us spent the whole time holding onto it instead of enjoying the meal. About the food: The menu is small – which we generally find a positive. Unfortunately, the dishes were disappointing in terms of taste and in no way justified for the price. Conclusion: An all-around disappointing visit. Unfriendly service, unhelpful attitude, and mediocre food. We strongly advise against it – even the snack bar nearby is a much better choice.

We had the beef roulades and the bison burger. It was delicious and plentiful. The service was very friendly. Still, I think the price is a bit too high. They also deducted more for the burger than stated on the menu.

Highly recommended! The restaurant is very child-friendly – our little ones felt completely at home. The food was truly delicious and freshly prepared. I would especially like to highlight the excellent service: the staff was very friendly and attentive. Even our dog wasn't forgotten and was given a bowl of water right at our table. After a lovely visit to the wildlife park, we decided to eat at the Wildlife Park Restaurant! We chose the grill buffet and were more than satisfied! Fresh salads, dips, side dishes, meat, fish, desserts, and ice cream were available! It was incredibly delicious, the service was friendly, and the price was reasonable!

We were at the restaurant today for Schnitzel Day, and what can I say: we ordered Wiener Schnitzel with fries and mushroom sauce. The schnitzel was tough, and the breading was way too crispy. The fries weren't "real" fries, but rather a larger version... the only good thing was the sauce. The service wasn't particularly friendly either, and you had to hunt for the person paying... That was the first and last time, and I don't really recommend it - unfortunately.

We spontaneously "stranded" at the neighboring campsite after we'd escaped the massive traffic jam in front of the Elbe Tunnel. The ambiance is very nice, the service staff was very friendly and extremely nice, and the food was excellent. All four of us had different dishes and were all very pleased. What was absolutely unacceptable was the 1.5-hour wait for the food. The winter garden was quite full, but there were no guests inside. That definitely loses points. But otherwise, the restaurant is definitely recommended. Another positive aspect: the restaurant is located on the first floor, accessed via a very wide, long staircase. There's a stairlift available for guests with walking difficulties.

Hello. A few days ago, I celebrated my birthday with guests at the Wildpark Restaurant. Two tables in the Wolf's Den were beautifully set. From the floral arrangements to the tableware, everything was perfect. The menu was very good. Excellent quality. We received extremely polite and competent service. Special requests were promptly fulfilled. Between our meal and coffee, we strolled through the Wildpark, which is also highly recommended. The coffee table left nothing to be desired. We were extremely satisfied all around and recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the beautiful setting for my celebration.

Extremely unfriendly service. I had pieces of plastic in my food, and my meat wasn't cooked all the way through. I'm really extremely disappointed. 😡

Super nice waitresses who have a lot of fun at work and have a sense of humor, and a super great chef. A big compliment to the whole team. I/we were enthusiastic about the food, we all enjoyed it. I/we will definitely come back.

For us, five stars aren't enough. A great menu, delicious food, and excellent service with very attentive staff.

On a Sunday, the restaurant was not very busy but we still had to wait a long time for service. The waiters, well, did their jobs listlessly. Stay away from the venison goulash soup and the bison burger, both were inedible. The soup tasted of canned food and vinegar. The burger was a joke. The meat was three times smaller than the bread roll, burnt, hard, and badly seasoned. It had zero flavor and the meat was inferior. The burger roll was a sesame seed roll from a discount store, but the prices were like a gourmet meal. My companion and I ate the same thing and we're of the same opinion; we'll never eat there again.

Unfortunately, we can only share the positive reviews to a limited extent. After a great visit to the wildlife park, we had something to eat with children and friends in the restaurant in the late afternoon. Ambience and service were absolutely fine. There were books and high chairs for small children. The map itself is also interesting and diverse. Service attentive, friendly and accommodating. However, where it no longer fits is the price and quality of the food. The cheapest meal for children is over €10. For pasta with sauce. Our child only eats pasta. No sauce. It's not that unusual now. The price? Same. So over €10 for a plate of pasta... No flexibility even when asked because "the system only allows it like that". Can you do... My wife had the venison schnitzel. That was fine and comes with a filling side dish. Meat OK and tasty. I had the bison burger. Sounded good, but unfortunately it was very bland. Dry and cold burger bun from the bag, which is also used in the bistros in the park (for significantly cheaper burgers). Meat was okay, but not a highlight either. Thin slice of Camembert. Plenty of fries, but nothing special either. Overall composition well below expectations for €25. Tasted more like a finished product. That's a shame and I wouldn't have expected that in the restaurant. For around €10 in the bistro in the park it would have been ok. When it comes to drinks, the “okay” thing is over. €6.10 for 0.4l juice spritzer. Price identical to juice without water. Here too: You can do it... but it bears no relation to the consideration. We are happy to pay a little more for good quality. But here it feels like bistro food is sold at restaurant prices and an extra margin is generated through the drinks. Admittedly not unusual at the moment, but we have never experienced this so blatantly with non-alcoholic drinks, even in good restaurants with intoxicating juices. Just under €70 for 2 adults, 1 child, 2 drinks and mediocre quality says enough. We will not eat here again.

The brunch buffet was the worst we have ever eaten in terms of taste and quality. And that for just under 30 euros per person - excluding drinks. It's a shame because we have an annual wildlife park ticket! But we definitely won't go to this restaurant again.

We went to the restaurant today before visiting Lunagica. I had reserved a table with a friendly lady the day before. The restaurant was well attended. The staff was very friendly. The food came quickly and was delicious too. You get an honest portion for the prices.

I've been going to the wildlife park for years and have always wanted to try the restaurant. I recently ate there for the first time and should have done so much sooner. It tasted fantastic.

Duck with dumplings and orange juice in snack food. Half duck was dry and tasteless. Skin tasted like old fat. Canned red cabbage, carelessly prepared. Dumplings were good. Orange sauce very powerful, zero fruity, just bitter. Plate was carelessly prepared. I was very disappointed with the food. A few weeks ago I went to the breakfast buffet and was thrilled. Recently enjoyed the Saturday buffet and I loved it. Huge selection, good service and it tastes good.

The taste of the food was okay. In contrast to the staff at the wildlife park, the staff in the restaurant were rather listless. We ordered a salad with a schnitzel, which was not served without giving any reason (but then charged anyway!), when we asked we were just told "why, it's so good!"

We were there for brunch today with 4 people. Wedding soup first, then cold and warm dishes. Everything was fresh from fish to salad, sausage, cheese and eggs. Roast beef, crusty roast… ice cream, fruit It was all fresh. The staff was on their toes. Every wish was fulfilled. Thank you very much

Thursday schnitzel day: The breading is incredibly good. Fried potatoes are great too. Unfortunately, the extra Balkan sauce we ordered was only 2 tablespoons, but it was delicious. Waiting time from order to meal 40 minutes. It wasn't full!! Unfortunately, the prices are not family-friendly. But the quality was great. Unfortunately, the dishes and prices are nowhere to be seen, only on the menu at the table. Very unfortunate.

Unfortunately, the last visit to the location, which is actually very popular with my family and me, may have been the last. As always, the food and the ambience at Sunday breakfast were really great, but even two weeks after the incident I still don't understand what drove one of the two waiters to argue with me. His mood didn't seem to be in the best all morning and actually it was all about the discount for annual ticket holders, which the waiter unfortunately didn't want to take into account after he entered the bill into the cash register. When we were together at his boss's, this impossible waiter started shouting loudly at me, at first I was perplexed, then I thought to myself, if he can do it, I can do it louder... After everyone in the restaurant and on the terrace heard that there was a fight, the boss took his employee out of the situation and sent him away to calm down, whereby the angry waiter almost injured himself when he opened a few glasses in anger the dishwasher banged. Long story short, the boss booked the discount without any problems and apologized for his employee. Since I never want to be served by this person again, I will probably no longer be able to have breakfast there with my family.

The Black Mountains Wildlife Park is a great facility. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace, the service was there on time and the food was brought quickly. Overall a good experience, you'll probably have to wait a bit during peak times and it's particularly busy in the afternoon. We were in the park at around 10:30 a.m. and in the restaurant around 2:30 p.m. on a Saturday. It was busy, but still bearable. Overall we thought it was good, the food was tasty and there was Ducksteiner on tap.

Even though it was very crowded on this Sunday, we were escorted to our place very quickly. The buffet was also refilled as quickly as possible. Coffee at the table is included in the price. Even a vegan milk alternative at no extra charge. The buffet is very rich, there is something for everyone. The price-performance ratio is right. The only thing we were missing was a little more cheese selection. There are various Camembert and semi-hard cheeses, cream cheese would probably have rounded it off. Vegetarian or vegan spreads or even a small selection of cheese/sausage alternatives or salads might also be an idea for the future? However, there is plenty on offer for meat and fish eaters and even as a vegetarian you will be absolutely full. There is still some room for improvement for vegans. But we would still come back at any time :-)

Opened the card, the 3rd word I read was “Promodore” - ok typo, embarrassing but not bad. Ordered gnocchi pan The waitress couldn't wait for 2 people who were still undecided to take their orders, even though we had asked to just order the drinks first. About the dish we ordered: Some gnocchi couldn't be pricked because they were fried too crispy, while others oozed fat when pricked. The arugula was great, but not the one piece of pepper that appears to be the “pepper vegetable.” There was no mention of mushrooms or zucchini (although these still fit with the “Italian” dish) on the menu. The cherry tomatoes described were mini vine tomatoes, which were served cold on the vine but previously briefly warmed up. Ergo, I couldn't remove them from the vine with cutlery and had to eat the tomatoes that burst open with my hands. No one asked how or if it tasted. Overall you can see the goodwill in the food and the service. The place is probably a 4/5 if you stereotypically order a variation of pork with potatoes. With other dishes I can't get above 2-3/5.

Unfortunately it was very, very loud, so you couldn't have a conversation, let alone relax. The food and service were again great.

Die Kellnerin war kompetent und freundlich, wobei "junge Dame" für ein Kind in meinen Augen keine passende Sprache ist. Das Essen war solide und mein Schnitzel lecker. Aber für 19,90€ wirklich zu wenig. Winziger Salat, ein großer Löffel Bratkartoffeln und eben das Schnitzel an sich. Dazu eine 0,4 Schorle für 6,10€ (!) und der Kinderteller Nudeln 8,90€ (!). Vegetarische Gerichte quasi nicht vorhanden. Der Kuchen war lecker und die Stücke wirklich riesig. Es war auch leider viel zu warm.

We came to the restaurant in the early afternoon on January 4th with 6 adults and 4 children. Even without prior notice we received a very friendly and warm welcome. The food was very good, the portions were generous. The price-performance ratio is also okay. Despite the busy restaurant, the staff was always friendly and absolutely attentive. Everyone really enjoyed their visit there and we will definitely come back.

I entered the noble establishment on December 16, 2023 at 5 p.m. Central European winter time with my dearest and our noble cold-snout of noble Bulgarian descent. After the very nice royal waitress assigned us to our place and had to deny me and my ladyship the game goulash, another meat dish and even the scampi due to poor housekeeping, we grudgingly decided to dine at the standard of the people. A short time later, we were mistakenly served these dishes, which had been refused for the time being and which we had to refuse. In connection with the starters, which consisted of warm water, which was offered as a strong beef broth, and a bean salad, which unfortunately was offered without beans, we were very impressed by the ambience of the establishment. You have to know.

Nice restaurant right at the wildlife park. You can also reach the restaurant without going to the wildlife park. Dogs are allowed. The food was very tasty, freshly prepared and good value for money. I had the venison roulade with spaetzle and carrot vegetables and my wife had chicken breast with grilled vegetables and rosemary potatoes.

Really very positively surprised. I expected the standard zoo menu: fries and currywurst. But there was great, high-quality and delicious food to choose from.

We had a birthday afternoon tea here. The service was friendly and nice. The staff was kind and helpful. A very good place for family gathering, kid- friendly restaurant. All the cake were yummy and tasty. Big portion but not so heavy. Atmosphere was also nice!!

Delicious buffet and friendly service. BUT! There is no indication that the meal does not cost €24.90 as described on the website but €29.90. That's not fair! This should have been pointed out!

Teilnahme am Wildpark Büffet am Freitagabend. Auf der geschützten Terrasse war es trotz Beleuchtung so dunkel, dass ich mein Essen nicht gut sehen konnte. Das Essensangebot war vielfältig und solide. Highlight waren für mich der Hirschbraten und die verschiedenen Kartoffelbeilagen. Die Mitarbeitenden agierten professionell.

Sehr freundliches Personal, flexibel, wir wollten dann doch lieber drinnen sitzen, wurde ohne Probleme organisiert, danke dafür. Wir hatten für 18:00 den Tisch, das Grillbuffet fängt 17:00 an, als wir kamen war fast alles leer, Fleisch teilweise trocken und lau warm, Dessert nur noch 1 , Eis nur noch 1 Sorte, man bot mir an Tiramisu nach zu ordern( was ich sehr nett fand) leider hatte die Küche nichts mehr. Eis könnte noch aufgefüllt werden, mir war der Appetit vergangen. Für 65,70 so gut wie nichts bekommen, schade ☹️ Das Personal kann nichts dafür!!!

Sehr sehr lecker! Wir kommen immer gerne. Mit vielen saisonalen Buffets, wie z.B. Spargel-, Grill-, Spanferkel- und Wildbuffet in der dunklen Jahreszeit und viele Leckereien. Macht weiter so!

Haben im Wintergarten gesessen mit einem tollen Blick in den Park. Tomatensuppe vorweg. Lecker! Dann jeweils einen Hauptgang. Wildgulasch mit Linguine und Schweinemedaillons mit bunten Gemüse. Auch lecker. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, da hier frisch gekocht wird .Die Preise sind human und die Bedienung flott und nett.

Ambiente super! Bedienung absolut freundlich und sehr sympathisch. Wildcurrywurst war echt nicht mein Ding, schmeckte wie Gummi. Schade!

Wir wollten eigentlich in den Wildpark, sind aber nur bis zum Restaurant gekommen, weil das Wetter so schlecht war 🤣🤣🤣 Doch dort wurden wir für alles "entschädigt" ..... Top Personal mit natürlicher Freundlichkeit und einem tollen Humor😄 ..... Die selbstgemachten Torten/ Kuchen sind lecker und für die heutige Zeit auch günstig👍

Sehr leckeres Essen! Ob Wildgerichte oder Zuchttiergerichte beides kriegen sie gut hin. Dafür zahlt Mann aber auch einen stolzen Preis.

Grill Buffet 4 verschiedene Fleisch Sorten vom Grill und 3 verschiedene Würstchen frisch zubereitet. Mit Salat und anderen Beilagen . Dann noch Garnelen mit Wok Gemüse und noch andere Sorten Fleisch auf dem Buffet. Zwei Sorten Nachtisch und 4 Eis Sorten. Mit einer Käseplatte zum Abschluss. Also reichlich Auswahl. Der Innerenraum sehr Gemütlich Rustikal ein gerichtet. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Also Leute last es euch schmecken.

Super nette Bedienung, rustikales Wildambiente. Und das Buffet Essen ist eine Empfehlung, große Auswahl und liebevoll angerichtet. Immer wieder gerne, ob Grill-Buffet oder Wild-Buffet, lecker essen in schöner Umgebung. Sitzplatz bitte vorher reservieren.

Veldig god mat for liten og stor, og hyggelig betjening! Maten kom raskt.

Ich war an einem Samstagabend zum Grillbuffet hier. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das kalte Beilagenbuffet war reichlich, es wurde immer sehr schnell wieder aufgefüllt und auch die Speisen vom Grill waren mit nur kurzen Wartezeiten zu bekommen. Alles hat richtig gut geschmeckt, das Fleisch war saftig, für mich perfekt gegrillt und die Salate gut gewürzt. Das kalte Buffet war beschriftet, aber eine kleine Auflistung, was es denn vom Grill gibt, wäre schön gewesen. Es war rundum ein schöner Besuch und ich werde garantiert wiederkommen.

Heerlijk gegeten, eindelijk een restaurant met gebakken aardappelen ipv friet ( wat je natuurlijk ook kan bestellen) super vriendelijk personeel. Wij zijn er gaan eten omdat we daar op de camping stonden.

Maden var udemærket, men vi synes at prisen var lidt for høj, taget kvaliteten i betragtning. Maden fejlede intet, men burde nok have kostet 20% mindre. Til gengæld var deres øl ganske god :-)

Wir haben dort mehrfach gefrühstückt und Mittag gegessen. Es war lecker, vielfältig und üppig. Aber die Preise sind höher als gewöhnlich.
