A nice restaurant with a great vaulted cellar. Unfortunately the service was a bit inflexible, but still very nice. The food was good and I think the prices were reasonable.

We were here after a day at the thermal baths. Weiden received a very friendly welcome. The map is extensive. The food was excellent. You can tell that everything was freshly cooked. The roast pork fell on the fork and the bread dumplings were handmade. Definitely. I had the pulled pork myself, which was simply fantastic.

It was full and still got a table for two without a reservation. Good tasty portions. Very friendly.

I was there twice in this restaurant on Sunday January 12th and it's still there as nice as I remembered it from the first time, the food was excellent, the service every restaurant should have such great service, funny and friendly at the same time and the atmosphere was simply awesome, so I can only recommend it, prices are also reasonable For this restaurant I will definitely come again with the family.

If you want to eat delicious food in Bad Wildbad, this restaurant is in good hands. Personally, I like eating here. Bad Wildbad is one of my favorite places in Germany. And this one. Restaurant is also included.

It could be so good, unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't match the products on offer. Plastic ready-made sauces, champions from a can, bread dumplings from a bag are also a finished product. Venison ragou was cooked with one old or two ragouts, old and fresh. Three chefs that I saw and 6 service employees, far too many staff for the quality offered and the number of guests. Now I understand the prices, the staff also has to be paid. With so many staff, there should actually be time to cook fresh food. The boss's excuses when it was brought up were simply below the belt. You can tell that to a normal guest but not to a trained chef 🤭 It's cheaper and, above all, tastier. Best regards go out to the landlord.

After the treetop path, we walked through Bad Wildbad. It was already cold and we saw the display in front of the Wildbader Hof and thought it was inviting. So in, it looked cozy and smelled like good food. We ordered the Gaisburger Marsch and the wild boar meatloaf from the stand. Thumbs up - it was delicious. Service very friendly. Thanks to the team. The whole menu is recommended ;)

We had dinner there yesterday. I had the salmon trout which was very well prepared. The service was exceptionally friendly, which is often missing these days. I'm already looking forward to the next time. If you are in Bad Wildbad, the restaurant is definitely an absolute recommendation.

Excellent lunch and dinner spot in town. Meatloaf, venison, pork, soup, wine... really good. It is German food so you will not be hungry for 12 hrs. Service is superb, English spoken and menus in English too. Enjoy!

Handmade spaetzle and wow I'm a chef and wow it doesn't get any better than that! Freshly scraped. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and beautifully pink on the inside. Whoever this chef is, he knows his craft. And then also must, where else can you get that? Thank you, we love you.

We had a delicious meal right by the river, idyllic. Something different.

You sit directly by the river at the “green” table. The service is very friendly and you are served quickly. You don't have to wait long for food either. The cars and the tram that occasionally drive between the restaurant and the outside tables take some getting used to.

Small, rustic, somewhat outdated family-run restaurant. But everything is great. Especially the child-friendly owner. From the robber's plate (extra children's plate and cutlery) to a game that is brought to the table, to an extra surprise after the meal. I have never experienced anything so friendly and loving towards the little guests. There should definitely be more people and restaurants like that. The food was sufficient and very tasty. There is also a day ticket adapted to the season. We were absolutely thrilled and will be happy to come back.

Great restaurant serving amazing food, friendly staff, and quick service, even if it's full. We went twice in our 2 days' stay, and both times we had great service and food. Another best part here is that you have the option of having a normal portion or a smaller portion at respective prices. This concept is really good for someone not very hungry or eating less. Highly recommended, and we will visit again.

My schnitzel was made by 2 children (that's how it tasted). The schnitzel was chewy and soft and I had to watch a guy get dumped (my condolences). I can't say more.

The homemade spinach dumplings were so delicious that we had them there 3 out of 5 evenings have eaten. The waitresses are friendly and very quick. Sitting outside is fun as the tram passes right in front of where you sit.

I ordered large turkey steak and hey brought two (small- medium) peace's. (One star down for that). I liked that they serving salad in separate plate and there are few kinds of them. My girlfriend ordered grapefruit juice with that and they where freshly squeezed.

I was at the restaurant around the beginning of July and ordered a portion of pulled pork with fries, coleslaw and cornbread. In retrospect, I was annoyed that I didn't let the whole thing go back. The pulled pork was tender, but mixed with some kind of sweet and sour barbecue sauce, it looked like a mountain of mush. The coleslaw consisted of red cabbage with carrots that have turned purple. The cornbread was toasted with rancid fat and was probably stale bread. All in all very unloving, seemed to me like an expensive use of leftovers. When we asked the waitress, they said everything was correct. Conclusion, the entire meal tasted bad except for the French fries. I would still like to positively emphasize the beautiful seating area on the Enz.

The food is always super delicious. We have eaten several dishes and have never had any complaints. All in all great!

A family friendly restaurant. The food is very tasty and there is a large selection. You can choose between small and large portions. We chose the small portion. The homemade lemonades and cocktails are also great. I highly recommend it!

Wir waren Nachmittags da um etwas zu trinken und dann zum Abendessen bevor wir auf den Baumwipfelpfad wollten. Ich hatte Maultaschen und meine Frau ein Putensteak das natürlich glutenfrei zubereitet wurde. Beides war sehr lecker und an Wasser zu sitzen war auch sehr schön. Nur die vielen Autos müssten nicht sein, es gibt Wege außen rum. Aber wie auf Sylt, man muss ja zeigen was man hat.

The parking situation is bad but the atmosphere of the restaurant, right next to the rushing stream, makes you forget that. The service staff was very quick and at the same time friendly and competent. The fries with schnitzel and salad were very good. The meat couldn't be fresher. A real experience. Just like we used to do at home slaughtering... it couldn't be fresher. I will gladly come again.

**Restaurant Rating:** Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was disappointing. I ordered the onion roast “medium” with spaetzle for around €28, but received meat that was almost cooked through. In addition, the gravy mentioned tasted more like tomatoes than like roast. My partner ordered a “medium” beef fillet with fries for around €35, but her meat was also almost cooked through. The plate also looked careless, which further worsened the overall impression. The waitress claimed that the meat was still pink and was considered “medium rare”. From my experience, however, this was by no means “medium”, but clearly well done. This statement felt like a cheap excuse and showed a lack of commitment to addressing customer needs. It seems to me as if this is primarily a place to make money, with no regard for the satisfaction of the guests. I find this practice to be a rip-off. I have the impression that the service staff sees the restaurant as a no-brainer and places little value on quality and customer service. For the high prices charged here, I expect not only high quality food, but also appropriate service. Unfortunately I was disappointed on both counts. We hope for a better result on our next visit.

Difficult... I had dinner there twice. Once the food was fantastic and was close to a star cuisine (fresh chanterelles with spinach dumplings). The other time it was almost inedible (curry with chickpeas and sweet potatoes). I had never experienced such a big difference in a restaurant. Atmosphere is a matter of taste; It can get a bit noisy inside. It's wonderful to sit outside directly on the Enz.

Were served friendly, have been there several times. We'll go there again when we're in Bad Wildbad. The food, salads tasted good, especially the homemade spaetzle.

The beer is deliciously fresh and light. The food is homemade and very tasty. All preparations are made with soul and according to homemade recipes of local traditions. Highly recommend. The price will please you and even surprise you.

Always a pleasure, a very special place for good traditional home cooking. There is also a modern interpretation of cuisine, probably inspired by the junior chef in the kitchen :-) The service is very attentive, even at times when it is incredibly busy, they still managed to find a seat for me... The prices are quite reasonable, small portions possible... The whole concept is simply harmonious, the whole family pulls together and complements each other perfectly! Still best wishes!!! A very atmospheric restaurant with local cuisine. Inside there is an original room in the old style, outside in the warm season it is nice to sit over the river and listen to the sound of the water. An additional attraction is a tram passing right next to the tables. The dishes are delicious, the portions are large, so you can even order smaller portions for adults. The order is brought quickly, the waitresses wear traditional costumes. They know the children's menu well ;)

An absolute MUST if you are looking for a nice restaurant in Bad Wildbad. The food was amazing, just really delicious. Salad - great dressing, everything fresh and crunchy. Homemade spaetzle and Maultaschen - a poem. The meat - tender as butter and a feast for the palate. Vegetables and side dishes - on point. Great drinks menu, very tasty spritzers, nice wines, delicious beer. Dessert - lovely, we had chocolates (highly recommended). Incredibly nice and attentive staff, great atmosphere (we sat in the vaulted cellar), very clean...just a successful evening. Many thanks to the whole team and especially the kitchen!!!!!!

Went to dinner by chance and absolutely loved it! Rarely has such a well-balanced meal prepared with a lot of love! Unfortunately, my stomach was too small to try all the delicacies there. Just reading the menu is really fun!
