Food was a lot of money from the portion of mini salad warm mud

I had “treetop sign”. The food tasted alright but I was expecting much more because of the google maps review and due to the high price. The waitress didn’t speak English well but she tried her best. I’m not going to hold it against them.

Wow, mega recommendation, simply a must. Everything on point, see pictures. Would love to come back.

Food is great. The staff was very friendly, but we liked the child-friendliness best. There are plenty of toys and activities for the children so that parents can enjoy their food and sit and relax. Kudos to the team!

Getting worse every time. We have been coming to the Wildbader Hof again and again for over a year. An inviting atmosphere, good home cooking at decent prices. At first the quality of the food was good, but from time to time we noticed a loss in quality, both in terms of the food and the service. On March 30, 2025 it was that time again, we traveled from Stuttgart to enjoy a Sunday roast. We ordered roast pork with mushroom sauce, bread dumplings and a side salad. What was striking was the poor knowledge of German on the part of the waitress: the order could only be placed after several attempts. The food came quickly, but the quality was disappointing: the meat was stringy, the sauce tasted like it was "out of the bag" and the three mini dumplings were also unreasonable: soggy, the consistency was like modeling clay, so there was nothing airy about it, just like a bread dumpling should taste. When the boss was called in personally, he swapped the dumplings for a small portion of spaetzle. There was not a word of regret. The spaetzle seemed to have been hand-scraped, but was only lukewarm, cooked without salt water, not tossed in butter. The salad was lovingly garnished with lentil sprouts, which had an aftertaste that you have to like. Bottom line, unfortunately no longer recommended.

Always worth a visit. Delicious food, changing seasonal dishes, you will never be disappointed here!!!!

Wir hatten uns sehr auf gute schwäbische Küche gefreut, leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht. Die Spätzle trocken, das Fleischküchle hart und trocken, die Saucen auch nicht lecker, nur der Salat war offensichtlich frisch und auch recht lecker. Selbst der Baileys Eisbecher hat uns enttäuscht. Eiskristalle im Eis und Sprühsahne. Da hatten wir uns doch etwas anderes vorgestellt.

Side salad was anything but crunchy. Roast roast was average, spaetzle was very good!

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal 😊 große Auswahl an Speisen auch Wildfleisch Gerichte. Der Beilagensalat ist sehr lecker, mit viel Soße. Wir sind mit Freunden spontan vorbei gekommen, es war alles voll, aber man hat für uns trotzdem ein Plätzchen gefunden. Wir kommen sehr gerne noch Mal.

The service was very friendly, the food was delicious and ready quickly. Six of us were there spontaneously. Everything fit perfectly.

We were here after a day at the thermal baths. Weiden received a very friendly welcome. The map is extensive. The food was excellent. You can tell that everything was freshly cooked. The roast pork fell on the fork and the bread dumplings were handmade. Definitely. I had the pulled pork myself, which was simply fantastic.

It was full and still got a table for two without a reservation. Good tasty portions. Very friendly.

I was there twice in this restaurant on Sunday January 12th and it's still there as nice as I remembered it from the first time, the food was excellent, the service every restaurant should have such great service, funny and friendly at the same time and the atmosphere was simply awesome, so I can only recommend it, prices are also reasonable For this restaurant I will definitely come again with the family.

If you want to eat delicious food in Bad Wildbad, this restaurant is in good hands. Personally, I like eating here. Bad Wildbad is one of my favorite places in Germany. And this one. Restaurant is also included.

It could be so good, unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't match the products on offer. Plastic ready-made sauces, champions from a can, bread dumplings from a bag are also a finished product. Venison ragou was cooked with one old or two ragouts, old and fresh. Three chefs that I saw and 6 service employees, far too many staff for the quality offered and the number of guests. Now I understand the prices, the staff also has to be paid. With so many staff, there should actually be time to cook fresh food. The boss's excuses when it was brought up were simply below the belt. You can tell that to a normal guest but not to a trained chef 🤭 It's cheaper and, above all, tastier. Best regards go out to the landlord.

After the treetop path, we walked through Bad Wildbad. It was already cold and we saw the display in front of the Wildbader Hof and thought it was inviting. So in, it looked cozy and smelled like good food. We ordered the Gaisburger Marsch and the wild boar meatloaf from the stand. Thumbs up - it was delicious. Service very friendly. Thanks to the team. The whole menu is recommended ;)

We had dinner there yesterday. I had the salmon trout which was very well prepared. The service was exceptionally friendly, which is often missing these days. I'm already looking forward to the next time. If you are in Bad Wildbad, the restaurant is definitely an absolute recommendation.

Die Gerichte für die Kinder kamen als erstes, ein Lob an die Küche, keine quelereien am Tisch. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Eine Reservierung ist von Vorteil.

Really exceptionally delicious food from the region. Anyone who spends time in Bad Wildbad should definitely not miss a visit to this restaurant. Whether trout fillet or stew, everything is recommended without exception.

Every now and then it has to be the Wildbader Hof. Everything wonderful.

Excellent lunch and dinner spot in town. Meatloaf, venison, pork, soup, wine... really good. It is German food so you will not be hungry for 12 hrs. Service is superb, English spoken and menus in English too. Enjoy!

Handmade spaetzle and wow I'm a chef and wow it doesn't get any better than that! Freshly scraped. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and beautifully pink on the inside. Whoever this chef is, he knows his craft. And then also must, where else can you get that? Thank you, we love you.

You sit directly by the river at the “green” table. The service is very friendly and you are served quickly. You don't have to wait long for food either. The cars and the tram that occasionally drive between the restaurant and the outside tables take some getting used to.

Small, rustic, somewhat outdated family-run restaurant. But everything is great. Especially the child-friendly owner. From the robber's plate (extra children's plate and cutlery) to a game that is brought to the table, to an extra surprise after the meal. I have never experienced anything so friendly and loving towards the little guests. There should definitely be more people and restaurants like that. The food was sufficient and very tasty. There is also a day ticket adapted to the season. We were absolutely thrilled and will be happy to come back.

Great restaurant serving amazing food, friendly staff, and quick service, even if it's full. We went twice in our 2 days' stay, and both times we had great service and food. Another best part here is that you have the option of having a normal portion or a smaller portion at respective prices. This concept is really good for someone not very hungry or eating less. Highly recommended, and we will visit again.

My schnitzel was made by 2 children (that's how it tasted). The schnitzel was chewy and soft and I had to watch a guy get dumped (my condolences). I can't say more.

We have never experienced such a child-friendly restaurant! We were greeted with the saying "Children are never in the way, only us adults" because the little one was playing in the way. There were also toys and a small dessert on the house. The food was very fresh & delicious. Highly recommended!!

The homemade spinach dumplings were so delicious that we had them there 3 out of 5 evenings have eaten. The waitresses are friendly and very quick. Sitting outside is fun as the tram passes right in front of where you sit.

I ordered large turkey steak and hey brought two (small- medium) peace's. (One star down for that). I liked that they serving salad in separate plate and there are few kinds of them. My girlfriend ordered grapefruit juice with that and they where freshly squeezed.

Very nice restaurant. The tram is something special. Food is very tasty and the price is right too. I've never seen tables with grass in the middle before. The car traffic is a bit annoying. I can only recommend it 👍

Die Spätzle waren super lecker. Leider waren die Schweinefilets sehr trocken und der Zwiebelrostbraten war auf einer Seite weil done, auf der anderen Seite rate. Alles in allem war es okay.

Unfortunately, the vegetarian chickpea and sweet potato curry we were hoping for was a bit disappointing. On the one hand, there were only three small pieces of sweet potatoes to be seen, and on the other hand, there was too much rice in proportion. The curry was also rather weakly seasoned. Overall, enough to fill you up, but unfortunately not a recommendation

Leider war die Qualität des Essens sehr ungenügend. Eines unserer Familienmitglieder bekam sogar Durchfall. Das Schnitzel war minderwertig. Kann dieses Restaurant troty der guten Lage und dem relativ freundlichen Service nicht empfehlen.

I was at the restaurant around the beginning of July and ordered a portion of pulled pork with fries, coleslaw and cornbread. In retrospect, I was annoyed that I didn't let the whole thing go back. The pulled pork was tender, but mixed with some kind of sweet and sour barbecue sauce, it looked like a mountain of mush. The coleslaw consisted of red cabbage with carrots that have turned purple. The cornbread was toasted with rancid fat and was probably stale bread. All in all very unloving, seemed to me like an expensive use of leftovers. When we asked the waitress, they said everything was correct. Conclusion, the entire meal tasted bad except for the French fries. I would still like to positively emphasize the beautiful seating area on the Enz.

The food is always super delicious. We have eaten several dishes and have never had any complaints. All in all great!

A family friendly restaurant. The food is very tasty and there is a large selection. You can choose between small and large portions. We chose the small portion. The homemade lemonades and cocktails are also great. I highly recommend it!

Wir waren Nachmittags da um etwas zu trinken und dann zum Abendessen bevor wir auf den Baumwipfelpfad wollten. Ich hatte Maultaschen und meine Frau ein Putensteak das natürlich glutenfrei zubereitet wurde. Beides war sehr lecker und an Wasser zu sitzen war auch sehr schön. Nur die vielen Autos müssten nicht sein, es gibt Wege außen rum. Aber wie auf Sylt, man muss ja zeigen was man hat.
