WILD BILL'S SALOON in Mosbach

I was actually happy to go, but at the moment the staff is stressed and unfriendly. When my child missed her cuddly toy, I asked if it had been given away. When we wanted to leave the salon an hour later, I asked again. The staff was very unfriendly and barked at me. There is therefore no star for the service, the food and ambience were okay.

There is only one star because this restaurant does not require telephone reservations. First call.....someone picked up, said, "One moment please", put the receiver aside and didn't answer again. After 10 minutes. I hung up. Second call......was picked up, not answered and the receiver was simply put on the side. After waiting for 20 minutes I hung up. There were 4 hours between calls. I find that disgraceful.

Great service, great food and everything completely in line with the price/performance ratio. We really liked it there and will visit the saloon more often now.

Google Rating for Wild Bill's Saloon: The atmosphere in Wild Bills Saloon is really great! The store is super authentic and the western music in the background creates the perfect feeling. You really have the feeling that at any moment someone will kick down the door and things will start - like in a movie. Unfortunately, yesterday we waited 15 minutes before we even got a card, even though the store was still pretty empty. After that everything went really quickly. We were there with a large group and had our food on the table within 15 minutes. I had the “BBQ Burger” with double meat. It was okay – I would give it a 6/10. Oddly enough, the BBQ sauce was on the fries rather than the burger, which wasn't bad but didn't excite me either. The steakhouse fries were served with a delicious coleslaw salad. All in all, the store is definitely recommended. The food is not exceptional, but tasty. The authentic atmosphere definitely makes the visit an experience!

An amazing little Texas style restaurant with amazing atmosphere and great service with employees who seem to have a basic understanding of English as well is required. The food was outstanding - I would recommend just having a main course as they are quite filling - and also varied between steaks, beef and chicken burgers, wings etc. All round, the best restaurant we went to whilst in Germany and would definitely want to go back if we are in the area again

Anyone who wants good citizens or even better spare rips should definitely go there. The rips are awesome. On the lunch menu they are a little smaller (but so is the price☺️). The atmosphere is rustic and makes the food taste even better. Located in the old town, there is also more to see, especially since Mosbach has a beautiful old town. Also explore the small passages, there are little coffees and shops hidden 😉

Great American western style restaurant. The spearips are simply delicious. The best I've ever eaten. My three companions were of the same opinion. The onion rings are also great. Big and great in taste. The service was polite, nice and competent, but rather reserved. A little smile often works wonders. That wasn't the last time I invited guests there or went out to eat myself.

The four of us had dinner at wild Bills on Sunday. The food was really tasty, big portions that fill you up. The strawberry shake is also super delicious😋. We can also absolutely recommend the service, they are really very nice, attentive and accommodating. Prices are absolutely right, you get really good food and quality costs money. A big compliment from us to wild bill and stay the way you are and keep it up ☺️

We were amazed! It was simply great! A great ambience, cleverly designed rooms (although a LARGE group of students came to the lunch tisvh, we didn't even hear them), an attentive and nice staff that you are no longer used to today. And last but not least, the spare ribs with the house barbecue sauce were to die for. And at a really reasonable price too! What more do you want? A clear “Go!” Recommendation...

One is completely attracted to this ambience. Unfortunately, these impressions are not confirmed in the slightest. A hot day, Coke ordered, the first one would like to be gulped down as ice cold so that I could immediately order the next one. No Coke, only a little chilled, horrible on a day like that, just like the waiter's mood, grumpy demeanor and behavior like a grumpy child. So did the food order, if not in a group, I would have paid and left. My colleague asked the other waiter to teach him some decorum. Ordering anyway was a mistake because the pulled pork citizen ordered couldn't be worse. As soon as it was served, you could tell that the salad was very wilted, but it went well with the mashed meat that was supposed to be pulled pork. It's just a shame that we can't recommend this lovely restaurant!

First called by phone to reserve a table for Saturday evening. On the phone we said we didn't need to make a reservation as there were always enough tables for two people. When we arrived we were told that everything was reserved but we were kindly allowed to occupy a table from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. I therefore found communication from the staff to be poor. Overall, the staff seem quite motivated and are quick and correct with orders. The nachos were completely tasteless and stale. Fries also a bit tasteless. However, the Apache salad was delicious, if someone didn't like too much dressing that would have been a problem.

Good food made on Wild West. With burgers, BBQ and steaks. Everything well prepared. Meat as desired also for the burger medium. Unfortunately, the yolk of the fried egg in the breakfast burger had already run out. But the yolk was still liquid 😉 Homemade ice tea was very tasty. Priced OK. I would have liked a “Western pan” on the menu. So beans, bacon, etc. in a cast iron pan. 😉 A dish was forgotten but promptly delivered. Otherwise, the service was friendly, although we often had to ask who was getting what. The ambience is kept clean with wood paneling that very well reflects a saloon or sheriff's office. A few more bits and trinkets would be cool. But all in all you feel like you've been transported to the Wild West. The location at the beginning of the pedestrian zone has advantages and disadvantages. But parking is available nearby. I think we'll come back when we get the chance.

Were there for lunch. First to eat. We had onion rings and chicken fingers. 5 pieces of rings for 6.50 too expensive, the plate below filled with nacho chips. Wanted rings and no nachos. The same with the chicken parts 3 pieces of chicken and the rest nachos. The bacon, BBQ burgers were okay but not great either. The service was terrible. We were served by a very annoyed waiter (the boss brought the beer, who was friendly and also took our order). Our nice waiter brought the food again, I had to speak to him three times to pay and then he got rude and said, "I shouldn't stress him out, I could complain to the boss." Then I did it too. From then on, the boss wasn't so friendly anymore. At the end I was also threatened by the waiter with a “shoot you” gesture. I have no witnesses to this although the garden was still well attended. My companion was just in the toilet. My conclusion for me is never again and a warning to everyone, it's better not to complain otherwise you might live dangerously.

I always eat here with my boyfriend every 3 to 4 months and the staff here is very nice and friendly. What's also very good is that the food always comes very quickly and tastes very good, even if the prices are a bit expensive, the portions are really good large and always taste very good 👍

2 hairs in food are just not a big hit

Wild Bills on Sunday was okay, but a waitress who had a black apron was pretty unfriendly at first. We got a place for 6 people and there were three of us. That's not a problem. However, we wanted to sit at the back and when we asked, she snorted at us and then angrily walked with us to the seat and were served rudely. At some point another woman came who was very helpful, but her colleague who was serving us was just serving and she was just cleaning up. Eating Burger "The Greek" used to be whole feta cheese and breaded. Meanwhile half a feta cheese and not breaded. But that was when the restaurant was starting up.

We ate there during the Spring Festival (4 adults and 2 children). Even though the restaurant had just opened, the waiter seemed extremely annoyed and taciturn. The burgers were good and you sit nice and centrally in the pedestrian zone. The staff should also contribute to the overall picture.

Here I would like to give a review of the Wild Bills Saloon Mosbach. Since we have 2 small children, we usually order for pickup. Pre-ordering and picking up has always worked without any problems. My older one (3 years old) always received an extra portion of lollipops from the staff when he picked him up. Today I would like to explicitly rate the visit to the restaurant. We were 4 adults and 2 small children. We ordered 3 burgers and a baked potato dish and a children's dish. We were all very happy with our selection and, as usual, it tasted very good. The children's meal (a cheeseburger) was a bit expensive in my opinion at 9 euros. However, the price was justified when we saw the portion. It was a full burger with fries (it felt like twice the size of a burger from the Happy Meal). For a 3 year old, half the portion would have been more than enough. The ambience of Wild Bill is very harmonious throughout. Everything reflects the “wild west”. A saloon door in the entrance area and the menu with a wooden cover are just a few things that make this place special. CONCLUSION: All in all, Wild Bills is and remains one of our favorite restaurants in Mosbach. Unfortunately, it's not exactly cheap either. A burger now costs around 15 euros. My favorite burger (the chicken bacon BBQ burger) is almost 17 euros. Unfortunately, the staff often seems a bit stressed. This is probably because the restaurant is very busy. However, this doesn't stop us from visiting this restaurant again.

Delicious food. Prices okay. It's clean too. When it's full, the waitresses are easily overwhelmed and friendliness suffers somewhat. This is understandable, but not appropriate in this industry.

Discovered this great saloon as part of a trip. Great ambience, very friendly staff and the food is a poem. The homemade lemonades and iced teas are also highly recommended. It's worth another extra trip from Mannheim. Top 👍👌

Were there again for a long time. Drinks only came with the food, so we easily sat at the table for 40 minutes without anything. The burgers were ok, only the meat was tasteless. To be honest, my salad with steak strips wasn't enough for the price, steak strips also had no taste and were a bit tough, so I had to season it properly. Dessert was received incorrectly by the service and could not be brought to the table in its entirety. Service seemed very stressed and listless. A pity

I got there early and got a spot on a Wednesday evening even without a reservation. The service was quick and friendly. The baked potato with steak strips was delicious, but I found the portion of the side salad a bit oversized in relation to the potato. Then I'd rather have a bigger potato 🙂

Very good food, friendly service in an authentic western style atmosphere

Went there for the first time yesterday for lunch. Were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table. Waiter was also available soon and very friendly! Drinks and food were prepared quickly, steaks were just right (medium as ordered). My husband and I love steaks and can confirm that the steaks were incredibly good! Our children also felt comfortable, both ordered the Lucky Luke and enjoyed it! Ambience also very nice, lots of space and elbow room. Thank you for the great service and great food! We will be back!

very nicely decorated, the meat was perfect, the steakhouse fries were ok, unfortunately the coke was only bottle shaped and although I ordered a large one with ice cream, a small 0.33 came without ice cream, I would have liked to drink a second cola, but the staff was overwhelmed by the crowds, so the rest of the meal ended dry, a shame because the meat was excellent! The service slipped past the 5 stars, and I rarely give them.

So far I've always enjoyed being here. Today the waiter ate up the unfriendliness with a big spoon. You say that you have a reservation, he just runs away, then he turns around and complains "Are you coming or what?!" Unfortunately I can't reproduce the look and tone here. That was terrible. We haven't learned clairvoyance and you could, instead of just turning away and running, you could politely say something like "OK, please follow me" or something similar. But it is questionable whether I will come here again so quickly or recommend this shop. Thank the super "nice" gentleman...

Ich geb echt selten gute Bewertungen ab. Meistens sind es eher die schlechten Restaurants die von mir eine Bewertung bekommen aber dieses Restaurant ist Top. Wenn ihr denkt ihr habt schon mal spare Ribs gegessen vergesst es und kommt hier hin welche essen. Die besten Spare Ribs von Eifel bis hier hin :D nächste Montage gerne wieder.. yummy ich freu mich x33

Haben 2 Stunden gewartet obwohl es leer war hab meine halbe Niere für 1 Menu verkauft was im Endeffekt nicht geschmeckt hat

Eigentlich ist das Essen immer gut, genauso wie die Atmosphäre. Allerdings ist der Service unterirdisch. Hatten heute nicht reserviert und sie hatten keinen Tisch frei. Soweit so gut - jedoch wurden wir so unwirsch abgewiesen bzw. rausgeschmissen, das ging gar nicht. Man hätte es uns ja auch nett sagen können oder vorschlagen können, dass wir solange an der Bar Platz nehmen bis ein Tisch frei wird. Sehr schade, besonders wenn man ansonsten immer gerne hingegangen ist. So kann man auch langjährige Kunden vergraulen.

Hatte einen Veggi Burger 🍔 war echt 😋 lecker

Ungezwungene Atmosphäre im rustikalen Ambiente. Service nicht „flüssig“, große Wartezeiten zwischen Platz zuweisen, Karte bringen, Bestellung aufnehmen, Getränke bringen und nach dem Essen abräumen, kassieren….. Als wir kamen, warteten um uns rum 5Tische laut deren Beschwerde beim Servicepersonal schon 20 Minuten auf‘s Bezahlen, was im Zuge unserer Neubestellung dann erledigt wurde und wir kurz darauf alleine da saßen. Service selbst sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Essen dann absolut top und zu empfehlen. Wir hatten Rumpsteak, was genau den von uns bestellten Gargrad hatte und super geschmeckt hat, Super Feisch-Zuschnitt und zart. Haben es seitdem im Familien- und Bekanntenkreis empfohlen und auch von denen, die dort waren positives Feedback bekommen. Absolut empfehlenswert! Punktabzug nur wegen dem Service.

Tolles Lokal mit leckerem Essen. Am besten haben uns die spareribs gefallen. Aber auch alles andere was wir an Fleisch bekommen haben, war super lecker zubereitet. Es ist alles super cool im Western Stil eingerichtet und das Personal war auch super freundlich.

Sehr leckeres Essen in Kombination mit sehr netter Bedienung. Das Restaurant ist in ansprechendem Western Look eingerichtet. Auch die Auswahl an Burgern, Steak aber auch Vegetarischem ist sehr gut. Zu empfehlen! (An den neuen Kellner: Weiter so!)

Wir hatten einen mega Freitagabend im Wild Bill Salon in Mosbach. Beim Betreten fühlt man sich bereits wie in einem alten Western Saloon. Daher auch für das Ambiente, fünf Sterne. Die Vorspeisen waren Mega lecker insbesondere die knusprigen Chicken Wings haben es in sich gehabt. Die Sauce war auch hervorragend. Die Burger und Steaks waren ebenfalls sehr liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Zum Abschluss gab es noch eine Runde Ouzo. Der Service sehr aufmerksam und schnell besonders hervorheben, möchte ich die Dame mit den Tattoos am Arm. Ihre freundliche und herzliche Art ist einfach mega!!! Von mir eine ganz klare Empfehlung, ich komme wieder!

Toller Laden. Ich hatte SpareRips. So etwas zartes habe ich noch nie gegessen. Das war Weltklasse. Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Service vorbildlich. Volle Punktzahl.

Das Lokal ist seinem Namen entsprechend eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Essen sollte man zweimal überlegen was man bestellt, da die Portionen doch etwas üppiger ausfallen als man es erwartet. Sonderwünsche werden problemlos umgesetzt. Bei mehr wie 4 Personen sollte vorab reserviert werden.

Awesome place with tasteful and on-theme decorations. A good variety of choices on the menu. With a separate drinks menu with cocktails and long drinks. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. Food arrived promptly, hot and looked delicious 🤤. We had a starter platter to share and the selection was favourable with accompanying sauces. Chilli cheese burger saucy and packed with flavour completely satisfying and filling. Would recommend Wild Bill's Saloon.

Der vermutlich beste Burger in Mosbach, ich kann aber nichts über Spare Ribs oder Steaks sagen. Wenn ihr jedoch Burger essen wollt, dann macht ihr hier definitiv nichts falsch. Auch die Preise finde ich eigentlich recht fair, 13 Euro für Cheeseburger mitsamt Pommes und Getränk je nach Variante 4 Euro aufwärts. Der Granatapfeleistee war jedoch leider etwas enttäuschend muss ich zugeben. Dennoch starke Empfehlung

Das Ambiente hier ist vom Vorbesitzer sehr passend und schön eingerichtet worden. Essen ist klassisch amerikanisch und okay. Der Service ist hier unter aller Sau. Sehr unfreundlich und pampig. Auf die Getränke haben wir immer wieder eine gefühlte Ewigkeit gewartet.

Wild Bill's Saloon ein Segen für Mosbach!!! Unfassbar leckeres Essen, vor allem die Rippchen OMG soooo zart! Die Burger in frischer super Qualität zu top Preisen. Das Team ist super nett und höflich, vor allem die Dame an der Kasse. Immer ein nettes Lächeln und Gespräch bei Abholung. Das Ambiente einfach anders geil und außergewöhnlich. Ich bin froh das es euch in Mosbach gibt, sonst würde ich fast nur noch mindere Qualität essen. Nach eurem Essen bin ich glücklich und es ist einfach immer wieder ein Fest. Wer dort meckert, hat sein Leben nicht unter Kontrolle! Ein Besuch immer wieder wert!!! Weiter so, ihr seit eine Bereicherung für Mosbach. Die Qualität und die Preise passen und so soll es sein und bleiben.
