I can't wait for my next dinner at Westfälische Stuben. I highly recommend it. It's tempting to say that a visit to Bad Lippspringe without visiting Westfälische Stuben is a waste of time.

There are few restaurants that get the highest rating from me. This one deserves it 100%. Four people, four different dishes, and everyone was super happy. I'll definitely be back. I recommend it to everyone.

Very friendly bartender. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection, fresh, and really tasty. Excellent value for money. Advance reservations are recommended; we arrived on a Sunday at 5:30 p.m. without a reservation and got the last table, although the space isn't very spacious.

A rustic experience that was very nice for us. We arrived spontaneously and got a seat, even with our dog. The portions were very large, delicious, and very reasonably priced.

My husband, son, and I ate here on a Saturday evening and were completely satisfied. We didn't have a reservation, but we were still lucky enough to get a table, although it's probably better to make a reservation on a Saturday. The ambiance was a bit rustic, which we really like. Within a few minutes, drinks were brought and our food orders were taken. In less than 30 minutes, we had our Westphalian grill for two and the chicken nuggets with fries served. The food was incredibly delicious, especially the pork steak; we haven't had pork this good in a long time. The chicken nuggets were incredibly tasty, like little chicken schnitzels. The service was very friendly and accommodating; if we ever vacation in Bad Lippspringe again, we're already looking forward to eating there again. The price/performance ratio was excellent. Thank you very much for the pleasant and delicious evening with you.

Cozy small restaurant with German and Balkan cuisine. Varied menu, large selection of different schnitzels. The food was freshly prepared. You could hear them starting to cook in the kitchen. Drinks include different types of beer. Dinner for two with beer cost 40 euros. We didn't choose the most expensive thing on the menu. The restaurant is good, I recommend visiting it.

On a Thursday at the beginning of March 2025: This was supposed to be the end of a day trip to Bad Lippspringe for us (an older couple). Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Since the end of a longer circular hike wasn't foreseeable, we didn't make a reservation, but ended up in the restaurant a few minutes before opening time (5:30 p.m.). The man at the counter told us that unfortunately all the tables were reserved. When we asked whether we could use a table that was reserved for a later date if we were planning to stay for about an hour, he first leafed through his large book, while a harsh female voice called out from the background that everything was occupied. It's actually inconceivable that there wouldn't be a single table that was reserved after 6:30 p.m. But be that as it may: We got to know a number of other locations where something like this wasn't a problem. Another restaurant in Bad Lippspringe, which wasn't just "second choice" for us, now receives a good rating. We can only hope that our experience with the service cannot be transferred to everything else in the “Westfälische Stuben”.

Sehr gemütliche Gaststätte, sehr gut gezapftes Bier, sehr schmackhafte Speisen, besonders zu empfehlen das Zwiebelschnitzel (aber mit Bratkartoffeln!), sehr freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!!! Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in der Gegend von Bad Lippspringe werden wir sicherlich wieder dort "einkehren".

The food was super tasty. We had 3 schnitzel dishes and a children's dish. We were all very satisfied and went home full. The service was really nice and, above all, attentive and quick. The special requests for payment were implemented quickly and easily. We were definitely not here for the last time.

A restaurant with a German atmosphere. Not too big. Delicious food. It was very annoying that they already put the main course on the table while we were still working on our starter. That always remains an annoying mistake in a restaurant. But nevertheless, this restaurant is definitely recommended.

Een restaurant met Duitse sfeer. Niet al te groot. Heerlijk gegeten. Wel erg vervelend dat ze het hoofdgerecht al op tafel zetten terwijl wij nog met ons voorgerecht bezig waren. Dat blijft altijd in een restaurant een vervelende misser. Maar desondanks is dit restaurant zeker een aanrader.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. Drinks were brought to the table after twenty minutes, even though they were ready to tap at the counter. The food was served after over an hour. The schnitzel itself was okay, but all the side dishes (rösti, vegetables, croquettes) came from the frozen food section. The service seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. Card payment not possible.

The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, the atmosphere was a bit old. What is no longer appropriate these days is that card payments are not accepted. This needs to be improved urgently, even if it costs the operator a few% in fees.

We were at the Westfälischer Hof on Schnitzel Day. An XXL schnitzel (which ended up being two normal schnitzels) cost €20 that day with fries and salad. I think it's a very good price for such a portion. The schnitzel was very tasty and the service was very accommodating. The atmosphere (at least outside) is nothing special. You sit on a very quiet street under a parasol. We would definitely come again.

It cannot be paid with EC card, which was not stated when making the reservation. Food was swapped even though the restaurant wasn't even remotely full. Service was divided into two parts, the female waiter was very attentive and friendly, the male waitress was very silent. Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprit are on the menu, although there was Pepsi and Miranda (or something similar) On the whole we probably won't come back, a small apology came from the female waiter when it was noticed that the food was wrong.

Friday March 22, 2024. Ordered XXL schnitzel with joy and discovered that the two schnitzel were only 4-5 mm thick in paper and weighed no more than 250 grams together. We left a lot of money behind and drove to McDonald hungry. It's a shame the schnitzels were always 12-15 mm thick and approx. 500 gr.

Have eaten here many times now! Very tasty, very friendly! Always my pleasure! However, the toilets are now very old and should be renovated a bit!

Das ist ein sehr rustikales Restaurant, mit gutem Essen und nettem Service. Aber dort wird keine Kartenzahlung akzeptiert. Das ist völlig unverständlich, und absolut inakzeptabel. Ich musste erstmal los, und im Regen ☔️ einen Automaten suchen. 5 € Gebühr konnte ich auch noch bezahlen. Dafür gibt es 2 Sterne 🌟 abzug. Aber das Essen ist gut 👍

Gut bürgerliches Lokal mit deutscher und Balkan-Küche in rustikalem Ambiente. Wir waren in den letzten Tagen mehrfach abends dort essen und alle Speisen waren sehr lecker (Suppen, Salat, Schnitzel und Cevapcici/Raznici). Das Service-Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preis -Leistung passt. Am besten reserviert man vorab, da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht ist. Absolut zu empfehlen 👍

Rustikales Ambiente. Sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung. Unser Essen (2 Rumpsteak Waidmanns Art) sehr lecker. Die Steak auf den Punkt gebraten, zart und alles perfekt gewürzt. Klare Empfehlung. Reservierung empfohlen. Wir haben mit Glück und Wartezeit noch 2 Plätze bekommen. Mehrere Paare nach uns mussten leider wieder gehen.

Habe letzten Samstag mittags dort gegessen. Zu Essen gehen, würde ich diese Wirtschaft nicht empfehlen. Die Hälfte der Karte war nicht auswählbar, "da der Metzger noch nicht da war". Meine Grillplatte mit Bratkartoffeln war so lala. Der Vorspeisensalat lieblos zusammengestellt mit Fertig-Dressing. Die Bratkartoffeln waren nicht frisch, sondern stammten meiner Meinung nach, aus dem Fertig-Eimer vom SB. Das Fleisch war gut gebraten mit Kräuterbutter angerichtet, allerdings auch kein besonderes Highlight. Das bekommen die griechischen Restaurants in Bad Lippspringe schon besser hin. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Bier schön frisch. Zum Kartenspielen vielleicht ein guter Ort, zum Essen gehen, doch zu einfallslos.

The food here was absolutely phenomenal. We all had different type of steaks, which were all cooked on point, which I have never seen done well with so many dishes at the same time. The chef here really knows what they're doing. The waitress had a good sense of humor as well. Was a very pleasant stay and would return any time.

Absoluter Geheimtipp! Von außen eher unwahrscheinlich aber sobald man den ersten Fuß hinein gesetzt hat steigt der Wohlfühlfaktor ziemlich schnell an! Personal Mega freundlich! Essen absolute Oberklasse! Ambiente urig, gemütlich und läd ein zum verweilen! Also ich würde jederzeit wieder, dort meine Zeit verbringen! Danke für den schönen Abend!

Trots fullbokat lyckades de hitta ett bord åt oss (4 st, två barn och två vuxna). Barnen åt chicken Nuggets och vi vuxna delade på en grilltallrik. Mysig atmosfär och avslappnat. Trevlig personal. Kan absolut rekommenderas.
