War wie immer sehr lecker, komme gerne wieder

Wir wohnen seit einiger Zeit in Mosbach und das West Beirut hat sich sehr schnell zu einem unserer Favoriten gemausert. Egal ob ein Wrap für zwischendurch oder ein vollwertiges Abendessen (das West Beirut spezial ist echt zu empfehlen) wir schätzen die angenehme Atmosphäre und die hohe Qualität des Essens hier sehr. Es schmeckt lecker, es ist frisch und eine tolle Abwechslung zu Döner und co. Absolute Empfehlung, insbesondere der Knoblauch Dip haut uns jedes Mal aufs neue um!

Kleines Restaurant, wir waren zu viert dort und wurden freundlich bedient, das Essen war frisch lecker und preiswert.

Service, die Preise sind okay und der Besitzer ist auch freundlich und eigentlich schnell, aber das Essen war echt alt, trocken und hat gestunken. Ich hatte zu Hause große Magenschmerzen, also null Qualität.

Top Laden, mega lecker und der Service ist immer bombastisch 👍🏼

Es war wirklich schlecht und dazu noch sehr teuer. Ich habe das Gefühl, er hat mich abgezockt und einfach einen zufälligen Preis verlangt. Außerdem hat er ständig Fragen gestellt – selbst nachdem ich gesagt habe, dass ich nichts dazu sagen möchte, hat er weiter nachgehakt und versucht, alles über mich herauszufinden, ohne Rücksicht auf Datenschutz. Das hat mich sehr unwohl fühlen lassen. Das Hähnchen war alt und trocken, und das Brot ist auseinandergefallen wie trockenes altes Brot. Für das, was ich bekommen habe, absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir haben gestern Nr.14 und 24 bestellt und waren total enttäuscht. Das Essen war wenig bis gar nicht gewürzt. Der West Beirut Teller war für 22,50 Euro wirklich Abzocke... Vorallem aber war es innen extrem dreckig, alle Oberflächen und der Boden kleben. Am Eingang stehen volle Zigarettenbecher auf dem Boden. Eine Person macht hier alles. Kassieren, gleichzeitig Essen zubereiten, Abräumen und mal schnell vereinzelt über die Tische wischen falls dafür Zeit bleibt. Dadurch konnten wir bei der Essensauswahl auch nicht richtig beraten werden, da das unsere erste Erfahrung mit libanesischem Essen war und wir uns eigentlich mega drauf gefreut hatten.

Ein sehr gutes Lokal. Der Mann, der den Döner macht, bereitet ihn so zu, dass man sich die Finger lecken kann. Allen russischsprachigen Leuten kann ich es nur empfehlen. Der Geschmack des Döners ist fast so wie bei uns in der Heimat. Insgesamt ein sehr gemütliches und tolles Lokal mit einer schönen Atmosphäre. 😋

Absolut unverschämt und eine reine Touristenfalle! Ich habe Shawarma bestellt, aber was ich bekam, waren zwei lieblos in der Pfanne gebratene Hähnchenbruststücke. Das hat absolut nichts mit Shawarma zu tun! Der Teller war fast leer, das Fleisch schmeckte alt und trocken, und dafür 15 € zu verlangen, ist reine Abzocke. Der Service war dazu noch extrem schlecht. Ich bin fassungslos über so eine Qualität. Spart euch das Geld, hier wird man nur verarscht Nachtrag zur Antwort des Inhabers: Es ist enttäuschend, dass man hier auf Kritik mit Beleidigungen und Arroganz reagiert, anstatt die Qualität zu hinterfragen. Ich weiß sehr wohl, wie traditionelle libanesische Küche schmeckt - und genau deshalb war ich so enttäuscht. Das Fleisch war trocken und lieblos zubereitet, egal wie sehr Sie das Gegenteil behaupten. Wer 15 € verlangt, sollte mit Kritik umgehen können. Ihr Verweis auf Fast-Food-Ketten zeigt nur das Niveau Ihres Kundenservice. Einmal und nie wieder.

Als Marketingfachmann kann ich sagen: Bewertungen kann man kaufen. Deshalb verlasse ich mich lieber auf meine eigenen Erfahrungen – und die waren hier leider extrem enttäuschend. Es war ziemlich laut und die Portionen waren winzig. Das Fleisch war kaum vorhanden, vielleicht 20-23% der Salat etwa 35%, der Rest irgendwelche Beilagen. Die Kartoffeln waren alt und eiskalt. Zum ersten Mal habe ich libanesisches Essen gegessen, das wirklich schlecht geschmeckt hat – normalerweise kochen Libanesen hervorragend, aber hier leider überhaupt nicht. Als wir dem Personal gesagt haben, dass das Essen ganz anders aussieht als auf den Fotos, kam das gar nicht gut an. Danach haben sie einfach in ihrer eigenen Sprache weitergeredet – sehr unangenehm und unprofessionell. Der einzige Pluspunkt: Das Personal war immerhin freundlich. Aber das rettet weder das Essen noch das Erlebnis. Wir haben zu viert etwa 42 euro bezahlt und sind trotzdem nicht satt geworden. Für 42 € essen wir auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt zehnmal besser. Kurz gesagt: Der Abend hat mit richtig schlechtem Essen begonnen. Wenn mein Kommentar nicht gelöscht wird: Überlegt euch gut, ob ihr wirklich hierher kommen wollt. Ich werde definitiv nicht zurückkommen.

Top Essen, Top Bedienung, Super Ambiente!

Waren zum ersten Mal hier . Der Chef sehr Freundlich und hat uns sehr gut beraten. Das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich .

Die Linsensuppe wurde als Wassersuppe für teures Geld verkauft. Das Essen war okay. Nichts Besonderes. Bei der Bezahlung wurde das Bargeld nicht in die Kasse getippt. Einmal und nicht wieder.

After many positive recommendations, I wanted to try this place for myself. However, number 8 didn't impress me at all. I couldn't find any vegetables, salad, or tomatoes. Or was that the hummus? Not to mention the price! €8.30 for falafel with hummus is quite steep! Perhaps something else tastes better? I don't know, and at those prices, I probably never will.

Not worth the price. The kibbeh were completely black on the outside. We also emphasized that we didn't want anything spicy, but no one paid attention to this or even told us anything. Even the bulgur was spicy. A real shame. I can't understand the good reviews here.

For 15 euros, I had a Shawarma Special (shawarma is chicken breast here), served with excellent hummus, salad, tabouleh, and sauce. A plate full of delicious flavors!

Extremely bad dining experience; I don't understand the good reviews. I actually love Lebanese food and never write bad restaurant reviews, but here I feel I have to issue a warning. I had a mixed vegetarian plate, and every single component tasted awful: the falafel was musty and tasted of raw baking powder; the hummus was similarly sour and tasted of lye; the bulgur or couscous was particularly bad; it tasted of acetone; the vegetables and potatoes tasted of old fat/meat; the chickpeas were hard; the parsley in the tabbouleh was no longer fresh. Unfortunately, we ordered everything to go, otherwise I would have complained about the food.

A very nice little restaurant with incredibly good food. Everything is fresh and homemade. Customizations are always welcome. The service is very friendly and attentive. I can't name a favorite dish because everything is so good. The falafel, however, is a real highlight; it's not pre-made. They're always made from scratch. We always love eating there.

Delicious and tasty burritos, large portions, affordable prices, and a free cup of tea with each portion! This is one of the best foods I have encountered in my six years living in Germany!

Highly recommended! Very delicious Lebanese food! Ordered a shawarma wrap, full of garlic chicken, full of aroma, cooked to perfection. Halloumi is full of milk flavor. The sauce is rich and the flavors of all the ingredients blend perfectly. Don't miss it when you come to Mosbach!

I had the Veggie Special Platter for €15, which I find quite expensive for the small amount. It only came with two sausages. The store itself is nicely designed, but unfortunately, it's very small, which means there's not much seating. I also had the problem that an ingredient I haven't been able to identify yet gave me a severe rash on my stomach, which lasted for four days. Unfortunately, this store didn't impress me, and therefore only gets one star.

Brilliant, freshly prepared dishes - now a MUST at least once a week. The catering is also great and highly recommended for celebrations (closed groups). As vegetarians, we always enjoy coming to Mosbach in West Beirut ❤️.

A definite recommendation! The food is very good, and the Lebanese cuisine is quite exceptional. It's a small shop, but the space is perfectly utilized. I highly recommend everyone to give this place a try. The staff are also super friendly. Probably the easiest and most deserving 5 stars I've ever given. Keep it up!

I've been a regular customer at West Beirut for over a year now, and there's a simple reason why: the world's best falafel! Crispy, juicy, perfectly seasoned – simply a dream. In addition, there is a great selection of vegan dishes here, which is very important to me. Everything is prepared fresh and with love. The owner and his chef are simply great – super friendly, warm and always up for a nice chat. You simply feel comfortable here! A really great shop with unbeatable food. Absolute recommendation!

We have visited West Beirut a few times now and it has always been ready quickly and very tasty. In addition, you can get free tea with every meal if required. The food is unique and highly recommended!

Maybe we had a bad day. Were a bit disappointed with several dishes. The hummus tasted very strange and tingled slightly on the tongue as if it contained baking powder and the bulgur was very sour. Maybe it's just not our taste.

Catering On Saturday we had catering from West Beirut for 10 people. Everyone was absolutely thrilled with the freshness and variety of the food. The loving preparation of the dishes rounded off the positive overall picture. We thank you for the culinary journey.

The waiting times are sometimes very long, especially at lunchtime peak times. However, the food is very good and worth the wait. Nevertheless, it would make sense to optimize processes in order to optimize waiting times at peak times.

I'm still shocked. I eat there every now and then and was always satisfied...But yesterday afternoon, I don't know who it was...He ran the restaurant alone. In the kitchen, in service, at the checkout... He didn't wash his hands once. Almost everything behind the counters was reached with bare hands, not even gloves or anything like that. I don't understand it. No go!

Friendly, familiar and delicious. Sometimes something is forgotten, but then an apology comes and something is on the house, which I think is great!

Small and inconspicuous, the staff and the boss are absolutely friendly and the food is simply incredibly good. Everything is freshly prepared, special requests are taken into account, great value for money, it couldn't be better. What I don't want to leave unmentioned is that I was on the way to further training and was wearing my uniform. I was asked if I was on duty, although I said no and said I was only there for training, I was given a 10% discount. This discount is available there for auxiliary and emergency workers. Thank you for this appreciation.

West Beirut was the culinary highlight of our bike tour this year. Mega delicious, lovingly home-cooked food. We love Lebanese cuisine!

I would say the best Middle East schawarma in the city. This is not like Türkis kebab. It has its own authentic taste. Recommend to try.

All around great. The very friendly owner will clearly explain Lebanese cuisine to you if you can't imagine anything about it. The food tasted great, there was also a great garlic sauce. I had a large plate with, among other things, meat. The fact that the restaurant is only the size of a snack bar isn't a big deal, as the furnishings and cleanliness are perfect.

Yesterday we ate there for the first time. We were given very nice advice and something was added to our West Beirut special plate so that the two of us could try something from each. We also ordered extra flatbread. We ate so deliciously and will definitely come back. It's not a restaurant like you'd imagine, but you can still sit down comfortably, either at the scene or in the back area. Afterwards we had a nice conversation with the owner. Very sympathic. We also learned that there are even spicier things, such as a spicier garlic cream. Simply ask when ordering. We'll be back.

We drove an extra 50km for this Lebanese cuisine - we couldn't afford the effort 😀... it was really fun to eat - really great cuisine!!! ....and very nice hosts.
