Didn't taste good at all. The gyros was too salty.

Not recommended! Schnitzel consists of more fat than meat. Because of their size, chicken should be offered as an appetizer. Even with a large portion of fries you won't get full.

Best schnitzel stall, great quality and the prices are right too, people like to eat schnitzel, shish kebab and chicken here

With the family with 2 young children (1 and 3) had a bite to eat on the terrace. A high chair was brought for the little one. The choice on the menu was very extensive, sufficient for the little ones. The food was very tasty and nice and warm (hot). The service was very friendly!

The owner of the restaurant went on vacation and did not bother to change the restaurant's opening hours on Google Maps. We came from far away, looked at the closed restaurant and left.

This Sunday, my wife and I went to eat at Jan an de Fähr. We redeemed a voucher. If I had to pay for the meal myself, then......🤬 It starts with the service. Sneakers, hoodie, socks pulled over my trouser legs. Then it was time to order. I asked for the soup of the day, reaction = "Oh, I'll have to ask about that first." Note: It was 12:35 p.m. Then I was informed that the soup of the day was a vegetable cream soup. All right. 2 x Soup of the Day 1 x Schnitzel Jan / Pork schnitzel with fried onions, mushrooms, and hollandaise sauce, with fries and salad 1 x Schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce Okay, that was the order (now it's time to catch your breath and stay calm) Vegetable cream soup = It was a Krisselsuppe (a kind of crunchy soup). Vegetables pureed with an immersion blender, added liquid, and walked alongside the spices. In other words, it was a real cheek. Schnitzel Jan. Pounded and breaded pork loin = that was 👍 / fried onions, which you can buy in almost any supermarket, not what you might think, fresh onions roasted in a pan. The mushrooms weren't clear whether they were pan-fried or microwaved. The hollandaise sauce was a ready-made product from a tetra pack. Disgusting! Fries were okay. Salad = From the refrigerated counter. Shredded lettuce, fresh cucumbers, and tomatoes, the rest was all ready-made salads and ready-made sauces. Schnitzel with cream of mushroom sauce = Pounded and breaded pork loin = that was 👍 / cream of mushroom sauce was okay. The taste wasn't really definite and was more like a soup because it wasn't thick enough. The number of mushrooms was manageable. Fries were okay. Salad = From the refrigerated counter. Shredded lettuce, fresh cucumbers, and tomatoes, the rest was all ready-made salads and ready-made sauces. Dessert = 2 hot cherries on vanilla ice cream You could just leave the whole thing as it is, but lifeless presentation seems to be a high priority. Conclusion: For around €70, I expect a somewhat decent atmosphere, service, and, above all, decent food in a place that calls itself a restaurant & cafe. None of that applies here. The food on the menu stretches across a single DIN4 page. No seasonal specials or anything like that. We definitely won't be eating there again, let alone recommending it.
