We've been visiting the bowling alley at the Weezer Waldhaus every four weeks since 2011 – and have spent many convivial and unforgettable evenings there. The alley is well-maintained and provides a lot of fun every time. The food at the Waldhaus is also highly recommended – fresh, delicious, and always with friendly service. In summer, the beautiful garden invites you to sit in the green, eat and drink, and simply enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Another highlight is the bird shooting range, which is used several times a year in cooperation with the Johannesschützen club and always creates a great atmosphere. The Weezer Waldhaus has long been a regular meeting place for us – whether for bowling, dining, or simply a cozy evening in the garden. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff good very tasty food ambience is very good

Mostly standard German fare. Not particularly cheap compared to surrounding restaurants. But the food was absolutely excellent. Friendly service. We ate under the canopy in the garden, which was pleasant. It's a bit dark inside.

Today, four of us plus our toddler, went to the Weezer Waldhaus. ***** We reserved a table via the contact form and received a super-friendly reservation confirmation. The space in the garden is beautiful. Our 1-year-old granddaughter was brought toys to keep her busy. The service was super attentive. The food was great, the dessert was divine. We'll be back!!!!

Great selection of food. But a bit too expensive for the surrounding area!

Great restaurant First time here in 2024 asparagus eaten with delicious potatoes. We found brochures about a grill event that was going to be held somewhere in July. Just made a reservation and combined it with a visit to Kevelaer. It was well organized with delicious grill dishes. Too bad it got too cold later in the evening to be able to sit outside. We will definitely go back despite the fairly long journey.

Herr Dick ist in den Ruhestand gegangen, das Restaurant hat neue Betreiber und heißt jetzt "Weezer Waldhaus". Die hervorragende gastronomische Qualität ist aber geblieben, vielleicht sogar verbessert. Die Speisekarte ist immer noch eine niveauvolle deutsche Küche mit viel Frische und Regionalität. Das Ambiente ist modern, rustikal und sehr einladend. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Öffnungszeiten gehen über den ganzen Tag, was sehr schön ist. Wirklich ein Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen und Wiederkommen!

Very tasty and the prices are ok

An all-round successful birthday in the perfect setting! We booked the hall in the restaurant for a big birthday - including a champagne reception, a varied buffet (schnitzel, beef roulades and pork fillet) as well as coffee and cake - and were thrilled from start to finish. The reception was warm and professionally organized, and the atmosphere in the hall was festive and inviting. The dishes were always excellently prepared - tender meat, great side dishes and the taste was simply great! The cake for the afternoon coffee was also fresh, lovingly prepared and very popular with our guests. It was particularly nice that all the guests really felt completely at home and that we were praised several times afterwards for the successful celebration. As hosts we couldn't have asked for better service and atmosphere. A big thank you to the entire team – we would be happy to come back and can recommend the restaurant without reservation!

Overall, a reasonable restaurant with a down-to-earth menu. I had beef broth with ingredients and a main course with three types of pork. Good food and a reasonable price. We were served by Gennara, who was very attentive and very friendly, cheerful and obliging. There’s an extra star for that alone.

We were greeted and served very friendly by the waitress. Unfortunately, the menu was very clear for a middle-class restaurant and the portions were all very small. A hamburger at MC Donald is a varied choice and as a HappyMeal I would have had more fries. Very unfortunate.

I've rated something maybe 3 times in my life and 2 times just to get a free drink. After tonight, I definitely have to praise this approach! It was a nice, simple atmosphere, the service was very friendly, the food didn't take long to arrive, the starter, main course and dessert were simply a pleasure and even though it was getting late, we weren't asked to leave. Only now did I see that the restaurant actually closed at 9 p.m. For me it's a long way to get there (approx. 120km). But it is also clear that I will stop again when I have the opportunity to feast on the rest of the menu! A big thank you for the nice stay and all the friendly staff who served us! 🫶🏾

Het heet inderdaad nu anders en het interieur is zo te Ien ook wat geupdate. Zeer correcte service maar wel zakelijk duits eethuis. Vlakbij het vliegveld dus handig als je trek hebt na de vloegreis.

We were stranded in Weeze following a flight cancellation by Ryanair. Used Airport Hotel and used Trip Advisor to search out a restaurant. Called and the help offered was first class, flexibility on when we could arrive and provided taxi details to get to the restaurant. Please and welcoming rooms / tables with really helpful waiting staff - menus in english and a willingness to help in any way with menu and beer choices. Food was tasty and reasonable value. Helpful with providing separate bills and overall could not fault any aspect of our visit - thank you.

I think this restaurant has changed management or name. The address is the same but google and the sign say "Weezer Waldhaus". The restaurant is pretty close to the airport so the location is perfect if you have a plane. The food is traditional and it's ok. I've got a Currywurst and I tried the Game Goulash.

On the way to Weeze airport, food was ok, not very special but certainly not bad either. You can sit outside when the weather is nice, the service was excellent.

The Waldhaus in Weeze is an extraordinary place for a relaxing break. The picturesque location surrounded by greenery creates a relaxing atmosphere. The friendly staff and excellent service also contribute to an unforgettable stay. The quality of the dishes, which are prepared with great attention to detail, is particularly impressive. An absolutely recommended place for a little break in the middle of nature.

We asked in advance whether we could spend the night in the parking lot with the camper and the boss gave us the OK. Food was very tasty and good portion sizes. Service was quick and very accommodating! The price is a bit higher, but it's perfectly fine for the price/performance! Small playground also available outside. Gladly again!

The food is very tasty and good. The ambience is always a matter of taste but we really like it. Parking spaces around the house and there is a beautiful beer garden, where every now and then a live band with “oldies” encourages you to sing along.

I was invited to dinner by my employer today. Everything was fine so far, but bring a hammer and chisel for Bruscetta? I should have known sooner. Therefore only 4 stars.

The food tasted very good and the service was extremely friendly. What was very annoying, however, was a very musty smell in the restaurant room (the smell was similar to that of an old building basement). Even the next day, the unpleasant smell in the textiles was still clearly noticeable. Unfortunately, this significantly diminished the overall good experience. I really hope the owner manages to get rid of this smell. Otherwise it would unfortunately only be a recommendation for the summer. Update: There has now been a change in management. The menu now has a lot more flair. Unfortunately, I didn't particularly like the schnitzel. But the rest was good/significantly better. Only the prices for the starters (e.g. bruschetta at around €15) are sometimes a bit too ambitious.

There was soup and a drink here as part of a vintage car rally. The staff was very nice, but a bit confused. But the soup tasted good and the environment is appealing.

We were with you on May 9, 2024 and were very satisfied with you. Whether veal or pork...it had to be schnitzel! We had both and it tasted heavenly. The service was super nice and accommodating and the ambience made for a very pleasant time. And the delicious ice cream at the end put an even bigger smile on my face. Just keep it up, we'll definitely come again!

Nice and the food was good as always

An inn in the countryside with excellent cuisine that prefers to use local products. The Sherperds Pie was well made and very tasty. The kitchen is even flexible and has conjured up a dish from the evening menu for mother. At lunchtime there is “only” a reduced menu, but it responds to seasonal offers and is very versatile. Everything from game to vegetarian was represented. The food came in a reasonable time for fresh preparation. The service was competent, clever and very attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere still has something of a country inn. It is kept in order but you can see that something has been added here and expanded there. This means that every room exudes its charm without appearing loveless. We were very satisfied.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be... Table dingy. We decided on the lunch menu. The schnitzel reached us carelessly prepared. Taste was OK for the price. On condition, I would like to wear different clothes, after all it is a restaurant and not a snack bar. I hope for the new owners that they can get the hang of things and get back to the shine we once had at Dicks.

The service in particular was perfect. Lunch only applies during the week; it turned out when we wanted to have something to eat at lunchtime. The service thought along... An alternative was offered. Still able to eat deliciously. Even Rex; the dog was spoiled.

Wir kommen sehr häufig hier hin, seitdem Alex und Natalie Neikes das Lokal übernommen haben. Das Essen ist immer top, frisch zubereitet und so viel, dass man keinen Nachtisch nehmen muss, um satt zu werden. Wir sind sehr begeistert und bringen immer wieder neue Freunde und Bekannte mit hier hin, die sich unserem Feedback anschließen. Macht weiter so.

Wir haben hier super lecker gegessen, sehr gute Portionen, die sehr gut angerichtet sind. Freundliche Bedienung, die trotz vollem Haus auf Zack waren!

Leckeres Essen mit Pfiff! Die Bedienung war sehr flott und gut drauf. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis normal.

Wir haben außerordentlich gut gegessen und der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wünsche wurden bei der Bestellung ganz selbstverständlich ermöglicht. Wer regionale Produkte und hausgemachte Gerichte schätzt, ist hier richtig. Der Begriff "Convenience-Produkt" ist ein Fremdwort und die Speisekarte trotzdem vielfältig und kreativ. Das gibt es nicht mehr häufig!!! Dankeschön für den schönen Abend!

Das dort jährliche Gänse-Essen unserer Familie war leider anders als in den vielen Jahren vorher. Das alte Konzept hätte man behalten sollen, so das Feedback der Familie. (Negativ war: Gans nur Keule kein Brust, recht trocken, fettig. Knödel mit Speck unpassend zu Gans. Plus: Soße 10 von 10 Punkten, Rotkohl) A la carte Gericht incl. Beilagen prima (Schweinefleischvariationen mit Champignon Soße, Sauerkraut in Rahm, sehr gute Bratkartoffel) Service 100% Ich würde mir wünschen, dass unsere Familie im nächsten Jahr dort wieder gut Gans essen könnte. Gerne nach dem "alten Konzept" (Platte Brust/Keule, Kartoffelklösse, Knödel natur ohne Speck, Maronen, Apfel, Suppe incl.)

Waren mit 2 Personen kürzlich dort essen. Der Sauerbraten und das Wildgulasch waren einfach phantastisch. Absolute Empfehlung. Die 2 Obstbrände und die Portweinzwetschgen haben das Essen sehr gut abgerundet. Dass die Bedienungen einheitlich gekleidet sind, gefällt mir persönlich sehr gut.

Wirklich erstklassige Küche. Hier wird Qualität verarbeitet und kommt auch so auf den Teller! Wir haben hier mehrfach fürstlich gegessen. In der Speisekarte ist für jeden etwas dabei, trotzdem übersichtlich und daher mit frischen regionalen Produkten hergestellt. Klare Empfehlung!!!! Wir kommen wieder!!!

2022 Leckere deutsche Küche....sehr freundlich, schön gelegen.....auch für eine Grillparty perfekt 15 10.23 Heute mal wieder im Waldhaus gewesen. Wir haben kurzfristig für 4 Personen noch einen Tisch bekommen, freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen, auch die Herrencreme sehr zu empfehlen! Und ja, Landhausstil wir sind hier ja auch nicht bei "schöner Wohnen" in der Großstadt sondern auf dem Land :o) Wir kommen gerne wieder👍

Zeer vriendelijke bediening, ze hadden helaas geen taart toen wij er waren. Maar het koekje was lekker en de cappuccino heerlijk. Binnen ben ik niet geweest, dus daar kan ik niets over zeggen. Leuk terras, voor kinderen onderandere een schommel en een wip, Ruime parkeergelegenheid,

10/10 Schnitzel. Sehr lecker und sättigend. Und im Gegensatz zu 4 anderen Restaurants in Weeze gab es hier tatsächlich was zu Essen.

Essen sehr lecker, gehobene Küche aber bodenständig. Habe richtig gut gegessen, Sonderwünsche kein Problem! Auf der Speisekarte für jeden was dabei :) Etwas seltsam: bei allen Hauptgericht- Salattellern ist Ziegenkäse dabei, da ich den nicht mag (und damit auch nicht alleine dastehe) wundert es mich ein bisschen. Da darf man über Alternativen nachdenken (Cesars, Feta gebratenes Rind etc)

Na 40 jaar vond de heer Heinrich Dicks het welletjes en sinds begin 2022 heeft Waldhaus Dicks nieuwe eigenaren. De nieuwe naam is Weezer Waldhaus. De kok is gelukkig gebleven maar er zijn wat nieuwe gerechten en het eten is onveranderd goed. Het restaurant blijft een aanrader ;-)

I’ve visited this restaurant many times over the last 30 years, and have never been disappointed. The food excellent, the service is very good, and very friendly, the owner always greets me by my name which is very rare, the location is well situated with plenty of parking.
