It's been ages since we've had a gluten-free schnitzel, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was great. We'll definitely be back :)

We went to Restaurant Weissenfelder for the first time last night. We discovered it through the "find me gf" app. My daughter and I need gluten-free food, and they also offer gluten-free options here. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is delicious and lovingly prepared. The staff is knowledgeable about gluten-free cuisine, and for us, it was a bit of normality to eat at a restaurant again. Thank you so much for this! We'll be happy to come back on our next vacation.

Restaurant review: We felt un-welcomed, the "boss" lady who manages the table seating should change the attitude it was very sour with us.. Also pretty high prices for its location/food

Run-down playground, service takes forever, food tasted 3 out of 10. Not again!

Ladies and gentlemen, The ambiance is wonderful! But that's about it for the positives. Turning now to the food, the almost puking-inducing Kaiserschmarn immediately catches our attention. Rock-hard and drier than any other. If only it would stop there, none of the four waiters on duty wanted to inquire about our culinary experience. Each of these four waiters gave us a wide berth, presumably because of the disgraceful Kaiserschmarn. This meant we didn't have the opportunity to complain or ask for a new one. We waited almost 60 minutes for this despicable experience on a rather mediocre day. We were ravenously hungry and had to eat the Kaiserschmarn, which was almost inedible. They should take a leaf out of other restaurants' books, like the Alter Wirt or the Gasthaus zur Post in Altperlach! If only it stayed that way, we still weren't asked if everything was okay when we paid, presumably because the waitress knew how awful it tasted. The staff in the service and in the kitchen must undergo one or the other training almost embarrassing this restaurant visit

I was passing through today and happened to stop by because I was staying at the hotel across the street. The staff is super friendly, and you feel so welcome. The food was simply amazing; I then had a cappuccino (also very good). If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back. The value for money is top-notch here – I definitely recommend it 👍🏻

First of all: I'd like to give it 3.5 stars – since that's not possible, I'll round it up to 4. Regarding our visit: the ambiance and the beautiful presentation of the dishes are positive. However, the chicken with the Caesar salad was quite dry and not noticeably seasoned, and the pork fillet with the Weissenfelder salad wasn't noticeably seasoned either. There was no reason to return either dish, but it was just about okay. What we found disappointing was that none of the three waiters greeted us at the table. We chose our own table in the beer garden, as there were no signs indicating where to sit when approaching from the parking lot. The waiter's first question: "Did you even make a reservation?" One waiter was personally nice, but overall, the service could be friendlier/more personal to make guests feel truly welcome and comfortable. In summary, an "okay visit."

After two months, we were back at Weissenfelder today; everyone deserves a second chance. My wife politely asked two different waitresses for an ashtray, but each time it was forgotten. She then went to get it herself. My pork knuckle wasn't even lukewarm today, unfortunately. The bottled beer I ordered, Riedenburger Viva Bavaria, had been expired for two months; I only noticed it after I'd already finished it. Unfortunately, there was no response to the first review; it doesn't seem to interest the owner. This will definitely be the last time we'll be here. We were in the beer garden today and were sadly disappointed. The Aperol was very thin and tasted only of sparkling wine; the wheat beer we ordered was a lager. The boiled beef was a bit tough and only lukewarm. My wife had the Schäuffele, which she couldn't quite finish; there was still meat, red cabbage, a dumpling, and sauce on the plate. When we asked the waitress to pack the food to go, she asked, "Just the dumpling?" How could anyone think of packing just the dumpling when half the plate was still full? There was no question about whether it was tasty or whether we could have something else. It's a shame that so many things didn't go perfectly here.

Overall, you'll have a wonderful time here, especially in the beautiful green garden. The food is also delicious. The service is super friendly and helpful. The only downside is that when we asked about allergies, they promised to check with the kitchen, but this either didn't happen or wasn't taken into account during preparation. What a shame!

Used to be good, but since the new owner took over, it's been awful. Food is cheap, cold, wait times are long, and if you point out any problems, the owner becomes unfriendly and rude. I'd gladly never go back.

We were there for dinner today and were unfortunately very disappointed. I ordered asparagus soup as a starter and then asparagus, parsley potatoes, hollandaise and schnitzel. The asparagus soup was initially forgotten and when it arrived the waitress said that it could be that the soup was no longer warm because it had been forgotten. So 1. Normally a cook should test whether the food is still at the desired temperature before serving it out. 2. Of course, the soup was no longer really warm and had already started to gel extremely, so it had more of a pudding consistency and there were no end of lumps from setting. I let the soup go back and the waitress took it back but unfortunately didn't ask if she could bring a new one or not. I assumed I would get a new one since I hadn't canceled it. 3 minutes later another waitress suddenly came around the corner with the main course, put the food at the table and left. We were a bit confused about this because we had actually assumed that the soup would be new again. So we started eating our main course. What you saw immediately without trying it was that the potatoes were simply cooked in their skins without anything. The menu said parsley potatoes from parsley. Apart from the decorative bouquet, there was no sign of spices or anything else and unfortunately that's exactly how they tasted. What's more, they weren't even lukewarm anymore. The schnitzel looked like it had been sitting in the kitchen for 20 minutes because the breading had already started to draw water, even on the top side where it didn't come into contact with the asparagus. In addition, the schnitzel was tough and there was no sign of any spices to be seen or tasted. The asparagus was well cooked but unfortunately also cold. Unfortunately the hollandaise is ready and was already cold. After 30 minutes, the first waitress came to the table and reported that the soup was no longer there because it fell off the counter and she took it off the bill. She politely asked if everything else was okay and I told her that the food was cold, to which she said it couldn't be because the food was only served when the guest was finished with the starter. I ask myself how can it be that the main course is brought 3 minutes later after the soup is taken away. Because you can't bake a schnitzel that quickly, even if the potatoes and asparagus are in the hot layer or somewhere else. And 2. we were only informed 30 minutes after the main course was served that the soup was no longer coming. According to the waitress, the main course should have been served first, as it should have been. She had politely asked if she should warm it up again, but to be honest, reheating a schnitzel that had been kept warm couldn't get any better.

Were eating in the beer garden. The food tasted good and the kitchen can be recommended. Service had decreased at times. The second and third round of drinks took a relatively long time.

We both had the pork roast which was delicious and had the meal within minutes. Highly recommended if you want to eat something quickly.

We ate in the restaurant, the food was delicious - from baked potatoes to tarte flambée to tagliatelle. We recommend the homemade lemonades and the apple fritters as dessert. The staff was very nice too!

We (two families with children) went out to dinner today. Unfortunately, we didn't get the feeling that children were welcome. This continued from the moment we were seated to the moment we paid. The waitress rolled her eyes several times as soon as she came to our table, and when a child knocked over a glass, it was too much for the waitress. We ordered several courses, including salads. Unfortunately, the salad wasn't really fresh anymore and was very limp, a no-go for €17. No one asked about it when clearing the table, even though half the salad was returned. The Kaiserschmarrn dessert was unfortunately a disaster. It tasted completely burnt and had many very black pieces. After we pointed this out when clearing the table, the waitress didn't take it seriously and showed no interest. The two of us families generated a good €200 in revenue for the restaurant in an hour, but that was also the last time for us. Things can always go wrong, but it's easy to apologize, bring a replacement, or remove it from the bill. But the service mentality was unfortunately completely lacking here. What a shame!

We had dinner today on Christmas Day. The quarter of duck and roast beef with onions, the pancake soup, and the gingerbread mousse for dessert were all excellently prepared. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially since we go there often and always get high-quality food.

Cozy atmosphere, nice food variations and friendly service

Were there in a larger group. The service was friendly and quick, hence 2 stars. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. I ordered pork tenderloin medallions, on spaghetti pesto with sautéed mushrooms. I received 3 smaller pieces of pork loin that were far too dry. The spaghetti was swimming in a pesto sauce, as were the “sautéed” mushrooms. Sautéed means: Fry briefly at high temperature with a little fat. What's the point of calling it "sauteed" if the mushrooms are swimming in an oily sauce at the bottom of the plate? The price was also too high, 17 euros for a dish that didn't correspond to what was on the menu. I can still tell the difference between a pork tenderloin medallion and a pork loin. Normally I address these things on the spot, but since it was my wife's birthday, I didn't want to stress about it.

Yesterday you hosted our wedding dinner. We would also like to thank you for the loving decoration, the very attentive, friendly service and, last but not least, for the really great food! Very nice restaurant, very friendly, courteous staff, food very good! Room small but nice, everything you need for one night

So we've been waiting for the food for an hour now. The last time we were here. When we asked, we were told the other guests were hungry. Yes, us too! Edit: the dog liked the dry meat. Thanks for asking. If you know that more guests are coming, the logical conclusion would be to have more staff on the day. Tipped because the staff can't help the boss save money. It's a question of education. We'd love not to come back. But as a little tip: work a bit on your ability to take criticism and on your manners.

We've been there a few times now. The highlights on the map are basically off. Only the quick-to-make meals are available. The food is always served almost cold. Today was our last visit there, although the garden is beautiful.

Were passing through and stopped for dinner with toddler. Food was quite tasty, even if nothing special. Waiting time was okay too. The outside area is really nice and shady. There is even a sand corner for children with some molds and shovels. However, it smells like a litter box (which the owner can't do anything about).

The place itself is small but very nice, there are plenty of parking spaces behind the hotel, it is in a nice, quiet location, the beer garden is nice and shady, there is also a small play area for the children with a sandpit, it is nicely laid out. It's best to reserve from 5 p.m. otherwise it gets very crowded. At the entrance there is also a sign that you have to wait and be taken to a table. You should pay attention to this as otherwise it can logically result in you not being seen by the waiters.

We only ate there and were very happy with everything, nice service, drinks and food were served promptly and delicious.

There were seven of us in this restaurant on Sunday. The waiting times for the drinks were well over an hour. When the food was served after a three-hour stay, there was great disappointment. All dishes were completely cooled down. We also had to organize the cutlery ourselves. Taste okay. We told the waitress this. Unfortunately, the service was completely overwhelmed and let down by the operators. The location and especially the beer garden are very nice. I don't usually write reviews but after being disappointed again I'm going to try it this way. I would really like the feedback to be accepted and implemented positively, as I would like to come back. Best regards

The young waiter was friendly and made an effort, despite being busy... The waitress, however, doesn't know the word service. No "hello", just an eye roll and the immediate hint (in an extremely annoyed tone) that I should have a lot of time with me... My question about whether you can take food with you was answered in the affirmative and I would have liked to order. The menu was handed to me, then I was ignored and the issue was settled for me. I know that busy days are stressful for wait staff, so I like to tip generously to show my appreciation when the food and service were good. Unfortunately, I didn't even get to try this restaurant

Beautiful beer garden in the countryside, tasty Bavarian dishes at acceptable prices, large portions.

Just stay away from this play as a tourist. This is about the restaurant part. Local people are treated differently then tourists. Staff was extremely rude, I never experienced this in Germany before nor anywhere in Europe. Quality of the food was below par for this region. The meat was overcooked, their kartoffel side dish was elastic (this is not how it should be, I ate it at different places before) and the prices were too high for the quality in this region. Quality is one thing, but the audacity of the staff is unacceptable, especially when your hear what they tell in German to colleagues. Very bad experience in general as a tourist.

Reserving inside was impossible when we visited the palace in the afternoon. The staff member promised that we could reserve outside and with bad weather we could enter the premises. So, it was extreme weather and then a different staff member told us that we didn’t reserve for inside. We could enter until 7 o clock. However, 15 minutes before 7 we were urged to leave, half a bottle of wine was left, but they don’t care. Interesting fact, local people can reserve inside and I understand German, so the staff shouldn’t tell lies against their boss in German. The conversation between staff members was a clear confirmation on how they think about tourists. The excuse in English was that we didn’t reserve with boss, so her colleague was wrong or didn’t communicate well enough. That was our problem, never experienced such a weird and misplace excuse. The experience was a waist of money and no customer, local nor tourist, should be treated this way, people have the right for an equal treatment in Germany and whole of Europe. Just stay away from here when you are a tourist (or if you know the boss then you maybe lucky).

We were here on May 1st. at evening. Wine selection and prices were not on the menu. We were allowed to pay €9 for 0.5 liters of red wine spritzer, which I think is really too much. My dish of goulash with dumplings came with a side salad that would have better been called Salad'le or salad garnish. The waitress couldn't handle the criticism, which was a shame

I have visited only restaurant. Traditional interior and beautifull garden. Great bear and excellent service of young and dedicated staff. Unfortunetly food is not following these standards. But that's Bavaria. It is not their fault...

We were there today with my daughter, who has to eat gluten-free. They offer gf Kaiserschmarrn, gf schnitzel and gf noodles. She had the gf schnitzel and the Kaiserschmarrn. She was super happy and it was very tasty. 5 out of 5 stars deservedly. The staff was very knowledgeable and very accommodating.

We decided to change the existing review that relates to the cabaret evening, for which reservations had to be made because the space was very limited as there was something like a small stage on which the artists sat. For dinner there was a 3-course menu that was decided in advance and you could always choose from 2 dishes. The paprika soup was very tasty, the main course was also very successful, pork fillet in a herb crust and we could have put it in the panna cotta. All in all a very great evening. Unfortunately, we were only disturbed by another guest who just came and wanted to order something out of the ordinary and something didn't suit him as only the menu was offered and he was a "difficult person" Very nice service, everything was handled well. The limos are also a dream and the kitchen is great. Everything as we are used to. Definitely happy to come back and we would give more stars******, it was a good tip from someone there. Great food but above all very friendly local service staff who clearly enjoy their job.

The service didn't come until after you had gotten the card yourself - Keller then tried hard but was overwhelmed, apparently permanently understaffed, and it wasn't the first time that there were long waiting times even though it wasn't even 20% full. Salad was okay, but at a price of €17 it's not enough. Dessert was so dry that I had to send it back - but was still charged in full. It was a shame it was the last time

Exceptionally tasty, baked potatoes with grilled chicken, mushrooms and spaghetti AglioOlio with scampi. Only the pasta, taken out of the middle without anything on it, was a poem. The taste is exceptional, something that most Munich restaurants unfortunately can no longer achieve. We've been coming here again and again for years and it was, as always, brilliant. It's a shame we've eaten well here for years. Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated so much that we won't be coming back. Last time 2 of us had meat dishes, both of us had stomach problems afterwards

It's been 6 years, but better late than never. 😅 As part of our local excursion, we stopped at Weissenfelder with around 40 people on the way back. All participants were thrilled afterwards. The food was rated positively across the board. The service was also very attentive, friendly and always concerned about the well-being of the guests. The entire stay was purely positive and everyone left the inn full and satisfied. Unfortunately I can't comment on the beer garden because the weather wasn't right at the end of September. However, the beer garden was still closed and you could guess that this is a wonderful spot in the summer. From a personal point of view, I would like to emphasize that the planning in advance (reservation in advance with an uncertain number of people) went completely smoothly. The contact persons were always very friendly and tried to ensure that everything ran to our satisfaction. From that point of view, I can recommend this inn without any ifs and buts.

Top food and high quality, very nice service, parking spaces should be better signposted, I will eat there again soon... To the team, keep it up.......

Eigentlich sehr teuer für das Ambiente.

Wir waren zum Essen im Weissenfelder. Die Karte hat es mir schwer gemacht mich zu entscheiden beim Essen. Hier ist aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei sein. Bei den Getränken kann ich die Limonaden empfehlen, auch sehr lecker. Service schnell und sehr freundlich. Preislich schon etwas gehoben, aber Qualität passt.

Sehr leckeres Essen in einer gemütlichen Stube, die sich gefühlt seit den 30er Jahren nicht verändert hat.

War jetzt bereits einige Male im Weissenfelder Gasthaus und jedesmal war alles top. Beim letzten Besuch gab es leckeres Kellerbier, einen super Schweinebraten und zum Abschluss noch etwas Nachtisch. Wir waren zu dritt dort, ich hatte nicht alle Desserts für mich alleine. Vom Braten gibt es kein Foto, dazu war ich zu hungrig, aber diese Kruste, die Knödel und der Braten waren einfach ein Traum! Der Service war sehr nett und immer schnell zur Stelle, wenn man ihn gebraucht hat. Komme sicher wieder und kann einen Besuch nur sehr empfehlen. Man sollte vorab reservieren, wenn man sicher einen Platz bekommen möchte! Im Sommer kann man hier auch gut draußen im Biergarten Platz nehmen und es sich gut gehen lassen.
