Wir haben die Trauerfeier für meinen Vater in der Alten Post abgehalten und waren vom Essen wie auch von dem aufmerksamen und umsichtigen Service begeistert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Alte Post in Parsdorf ist gemütlicher bayrischer Gasthof mit einer tollen Karte bei jeder was findet. Wir waren vollkommen zufrieden. Kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Ambiente, nette Bedienung. Die Salate mit den Ochsenfetzen und Hähnchen war sehr gut, die Sparerips waren nicht ganz so gelungen.

Super gutes und freundliches Personal, die leere Gläser sofort abräumen und neue Getränke bringen. Super gute Küche, sehr netter und freundlicher Chef, der trotz sich teilweise unmöglich aufführender Münchner Gäste stets ruhig und zuvorkommend war. Wir kommen gerne wieder 🍻😃

Kellner wirklich sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend obwohl an einem Samstag allein im Biergarten. Essen und Getränke kamen pünktlich. Sehr zu empfehlen

Leckeres Essen und große Portionen.

Sehr schönes Lokal waren 2 mal essen dort 1 mal mittag und 1 mal abends. Beides mal sehr lecker und tolle nette Bedieung. Alles bestens.

Das beste kulinarische Erlebnis in München!!! Alles, was wir gegessen haben, war unglaublich lecker, und man konnte die hohe Qualität der Produkte förmlich schmecken! Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und der Besitzer überaus zuvorkommend! Ein absolutes Muss bei einem Besuch in München! 22.03.2026 Drei Jahre später hatte ich die Gelegenheit, dieses Restaurant wieder zu besuchen, und es war genauso fantastisch wie in meiner Erinnerung! Das Essen war einfach perfekt, jedes Gericht voller Geschmack und mit denselben hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet. Eine so konstante Qualität über so lange Zeit ist selten. Das Personal war nach wie vor freundlich und zuvorkommend, und der Besitzer war wieder einmal unglaublich nett, was das ganze Erlebnis noch besonderer machte. Man spürt hier wirklich, dass einem die Gäste am Herzen liegen. Dieser Besuch hat mir einmal mehr bestätigt, dass dieses Restaurant nicht nur einmalig fantastisch ist, sondern konstant herausragend. Ein absolutes Muss bei jedem München-Besuch!

Schöne Restaurant mit schlechte Bedienung. Wir haben eine Rostzwiebelbraten bestellt 28€,zurück gehen lassen weil die sehr sauer war und voller Preis bezahlt. Wir werden da nie wieder essen gehen.

Ein absolutes Highlight – mit gutem Service, angenehmer Ambiance und wirklich leckerem Essen. Wir waren zu viert hier und hatten ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Das Essen wird frisch und hochwertig zubereitet und schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Schnitzel, das wirklich top war. Auch der Kaiserschmarrn ist super lecker und absolut empfehlenswert. Der Service war insgesamt gut. Es gab ein bis zwei sehr sympathische Kellner*innen, die wirklich positiv aufgefallen sind. Die anderen waren in Ordnung, aber aus meiner Sicht mit etwas Verbesserungspotenzial. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm, sauber und vermittelt auf schöne Weise traditionelle deutsche Gemütlichkeit. Egal ob Tourist, Erstbesucher oder Stammgast – hier findet jeder etwas. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Für uns gibt es zwei Sterne für freundlichen Service und das wir einen Tisch bekommen hatten ohne Reservierung. Das Steak war perfekt gebraten aber die Qualität war schlecht und wir vermuten das es nicht aus der Lende war. Die Bratkartoffeln waren zu dick und waren auf der einen Seite Schwarz und auf der anderen Seite haben sie die Pfanne nicht gesehen. Echt Schade, für 27€ pro Rostbraten hätten wir das zuhause besser hinbekommen!

Weihnachtsfeiertagsessen mit Familie....immer stressig... für Kunden und Service vor Ort.. sie haben es gut hinbekommen!

Tolles, authentisches Restaurant mit hochwertigen Speisen. Absolute Empfehlung! Die Einrichtung ist auch total nett und die Atmosphäre insgesamt schön gemütlich.

The food was okay. The value for money wasn't great. The service was a disaster. Very unfriendly and annoyed.

The service was incredibly rude, and the food was okay. Too expensive for the quality; the service was better at McDonald's, and there wasn't any there.

The food was really good and the location is great – but the service was a complete disappointment. Unfriendly, annoyed, and at times downright rude. It felt like guests were more of a nuisance than a welcome guest. A real shame, because the food and atmosphere could be so much better if the service weren't so awful. This was the first time we didn't leave a tip.

I'm reviewing this week's receipts and I see that they stole two euros from me, without asking... I sincerely believe that tipping should be voluntary and without any pressure. It's a shame they trick tourists like this. It gives a bad image, and I liked the place, but you shouldn't work like this...

The food wasn't a culinary highlight. The price/performance ratio wasn't right for us. The spinach dumplings seemed to have been warmed up in a microwave, and the cheese spaetzle in the other dish were quite soggy from the creamy cheese sauce. We're not used to drowning them in sauce like that, and it didn't suit our tastes/expectations.

I've been there for lunch several times and it's simply delicious, always beautifully presented and the service is friendly!

Good food, very large portions.

We stopped here on our way back from Lake Garda. We were greeted by a nice, friendly waitress. We sat down in the beer garden, but the ground was a bit rocky. After we ordered, our dog was given a bowl of water first. Our meal was simply fantastic. For dessert, I ordered the Kaiserschmarrn, which is a type of pancake I haven't had again. So, be sure to order the pancake before the main course; it was freshly prepared. Preparation time: approximately 40 minutes. It's also listed on the menu.

Absolutely loved it! If you are looking for traditional Bavarian cuisine in a normal village setting, this is the perfect spot. The server spoke great English and the food was perfect. I had the schnitzel with potato salad and a beer. The price was very reasonable. I ate here twice that week and would have gone again if my wife had let me. Good stuff!

Very nice beer garden. The food was delicious! We went there twice, but on the second visit, my complaint about the portion size of my meal (tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms for €16.50) was unfortunately ignored. A schnapps or espresso could have prevented the negative review!

I always enjoy coming back to the Alte Post whenever I'm in Parsdorf. The food, ambiance, and service are all excellent. The Kaiserschmarrn is unbeatable; you should definitely try it!

We gave the Alte Post a second chance. The atmosphere in the beer garden is really nice. The service is also okay. However, even two years after the first visit, the food leaves something to be desired. I ordered a cordon bleu with potato salad. According to the menu, the cordon bleu should have been Emmental cheese. Unfortunately, I was greeted with a white liquid. My wife had a salad with chicken. Unfortunately, the price was not right here either. I also mentioned this to the waiter, who didn't return afterward. There are restaurants in the area that offer top quality for better prices. I think it's a shame that the dishes don't match the atmosphere.

Food very salty very small portions

The food wasn't particularly good. Kasspatzen was just béchamel sauce with (almost) no cheese. The advertised mountain cheese was not tasty. There were no chives either. My wife's asparagus was okay. The hollandaise sauce was also from a packet.

We had Wiener Schnitzel. The food came quickly and the seating was comfortable. One point deducted for the unpleasant smell of grease inside on the way from the parking lot to the beer garden.

Der ruhige und schöne Biergarten ist sehr schön. Bei dem schönen sonnigen Wetter ist eine Reservierung empfehlenswert! Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und schnell. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen schnell bzw. zügig. Die Portionen sind wirklich reichlich und es dürfte keiner hungrig den Biergarten verlassen. Das Wiener Backhendl war schön saftig und der Kartoffelsalat mit Vogerlsalat (= Feldsalat) war richtig gut. Die Spareribs sind fleischig und saftig gebraten,die Pommes resch und alles serviert auf einem Holzbrett. Die Bratensülze schaute selbstgemacht aus und schmeckte Vorzüglich. Die Kellner haben auch nachgefragt, ob es uns schmeckt. Alles in allem ein gelungener Biergartenabend der unbedingt wiederholt werden muss.

We were a bit disappointed for an old pub. From the outside, you'd think it looked good and Bavarian, but it wasn't. The beer garden was very nice, the atmosphere inside was more like, okay, intentional but not perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly, but the food...the chef needs to practice more, at least as far as our food was concerned, there's still a lot of room for improvement. It's a shame that the old Bavarian pubs are dying out.

Ich bin regelmäßig zum Essen hier und das Essen ist immer hervorragend. Die Mittagskarte ist abwechslungsreich und preiswert. Weiter so.

A bit confusing on site, there are no cushions on the benches and chairs. I had a Parsdorfburger, which was very well done and therefore dry. Wouldn't go again.

Very nice rustic restaurant with down-to-earth cuisine. My pork fillet with mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle was excellent and my colleague's fried chicken with potato salad was also very tasty. The service was friendly and quick. Unreservedly recommended!!!

We sat in the room and had our little 🐶 with us. Food was good, service was nice and quick, even though the room was really full thanks to Valentine's Day. The selection of dishes is good, manageable and not run of the mill. Thanks to a weekly menu you also have a lot of variety. The price is within reasonable limits for the region and area. All in all a nice restaurant, highly recommended.

Had the meat patties, which were really delicious. The fried potatoes were a bit too weak and not crispy. But very tasty food, highly recommended.

Der Biergarten im Sommer war deutlich besser, sowohl im Service als auch von der Qualität des Essens. Fast 1/2 Std auf das Getränk gewartet, die Rinderroulade mit einem „Klecks“ Soße war innen noch kalt, ebenfalls der Knödel. Extra Soße wurde nachbestellt aber nicht gebracht. Vielen Dank für nichts.

Unfassbar lecker der Schweinsbraten, die Sauce , der Knödel, der Krautsalat!!! Wir waren 2 Abende hintereinander dort und habe alle 2 mal den Schweinebraten gehabt!!! Sehr empfehlenswert, dazu bayrisches Bier!!!

We were in the ballroom at an event with Angela Ascher => just by the way it was a very bad show. So the ambience is terrible, the service, well, that's it. The food, no matter what it was, was absolutely horrible. There were four of us, everyone ate something different, everyone had the same opinion. => never again

Really good food, nice staff. Gladly again..... P.S. But unfortunately I have to “rant” a bit now. We really enjoy eating here, but unfortunately, not for the first time, one or two of the employees forgot that there was the word "thank you". When paying or leaving the restaurant... nothing! We think it's a shame because this word is so short and takes little effort to say but has so much meaning. And thank you for being there, for choosing us and not somewhere else and thank you for your tip. Call us picky by being in our mid to late 40s, but in our opinion it's not too much to ask.

The atmosphere is very nice, we were in this restaurant for the first time today. I am very disappointed, I ate a fried chicken with potato salad with endive salad. I have to say that I didn't expect that the potato salad was from the bucket (i.e. bought) so the endive salad that was mixed with it didn't help either. I ate my fried chicken without anything. I won't come here anymore. It's a shame because the service was really very good. Too bad 🤔

We felt very comfortable last night. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was very friendly and on the ball. Thank God we called and made reservations in advance because it was very busy. Keep it up!

In Parsdorf in the Alte Post, almost close to Munich East, there is an inn - thank God! - with excellent food and drink. The landlord and also the staff They're just great there - brilliant. Do you also want to experience coziness? then drive - as I said just now, to Parsdorf, near Munich East, and enjoy the best food there.

I can highly recommend eating semolina dumpling soup, roast pork, Gordon Bleu and venison goulash.

Das Ambiente war bayerisch bodenständig, der Service funktional. Die Portionen waren eher überschaubar und geschmacklich durchschnittlich. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis somit eher etwas unterdurchschnittlich.

I was here with a friend on a Tuesday and actually wanted to eat something from the daily menu. But the Cordon Bleu was already gone by half past one. So we just had the tagliatelle with pesto. It was okay, but the portion was really small. Far too little for the price. We had barely finished eating when the waiter came and wanted the money. According to the motto: quick in, quick out. I won't come back there.

Very nice restaurant with good food and nice waiters. Everything is still great and we have already eaten and drank excellently again today, 3 months later. Next reservation already made for 2 days later and for the rest of the vacation, so a total of 6 evenings.

This is a good place to have something to eat. Good food. We had Wienerschnitzel and bratkartoffelen. This was really good. Good beer and very resonable prices.

The ambience was right, service was top with the inclusion of extra sausages except that additional glasses were only brought after repeated requests. Food was quite ok. In addition to fried onions and spring onions, there were unfortunately also a lot of fried onions in the cheese spaetzle itself, which greatly overpowered the taste. I would have preferred fewer or no onions at all.

In terms of food, I can only rate the cheese spaetzle. Unfortunately they weren't that outstanding. There were onions in the cheese “sauce” and spring onions + fried onions on top, which is why they actually only tasted like onions. So I wouldn't recommend it. Ambiance was good so far. The service was nice and courteous as she offered water for my dog.

Die alte Post Parsdorf ist eine richtig nette bayrische Wirtschaft, gar nicht weit weg vom inzwischen recht groß gewordenen Gewerbegebiet. Der Schweinsbraten war frisch und resch, die Bedienung sehr freundlich, das Bier kühl und frisch gezapft. Die Gaststuben ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und auch im Biergarten lässt es sich gut aushalten. Die alte Post ist wirklich einen Besuch wert!

Ein netter Biergarten mit aufmerksamer Bedienung. Sehr gute bayrische Küche in äußerst angenehmer Atmosphäre. Umfangreiches Angebot mit ansprechendem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sogar mit Hund sehr zu empfehlen.
