It's actually a pretty good restaurant, but the food is brought out incorrectly and they use nicely used bowls. That's completely unacceptable.

A homely, cozy restaurant in a historic half-timbered house with thick stone walls, set in a vineyard complex. A lovely courtyard. Swabian and modern international dishes. Delicious Sauerkürle (sour kidneys), crispy fried potatoes. Vegetable flatbreads were like filled pancakes, but good. Very attentive and friendly service. Excellent value for money. A lovely courtyard. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time we were there.

Culinary-wise, this is certainly the best you can find in Eltingen or Leonberg.

We've been there several times. Both times in the summer. We enjoyed the comfortable seating in the partially covered courtyard. A tree stands in the middle of the courtyard, atmospherically lit in the evenings, making the place truly inviting. The food was excellent both times, and the service was spot on. Not too intrusive, but attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Two of us stopped here for lunch while passing through. We sat in the quiet courtyard under a linden tree. We had fried Maultaschen (ravioli) with salad and a soup to start with for €15 per person. The rosé wine recommended with the meal went very well with it. The staff is attentive and friendly. The decor is generally high-quality and well-maintained. The restrooms are clean and new. For a good €40, the two of us had a very good lunch and will definitely return when we're in the area.

I've rarely eaten such an extremely bad meal: cheese spaetzle lacked flavor, and the supposed vegetable strudel was folded pancakes with a mush that couldn't be described as sauce. Prices like those in high-end restaurants, service worse than at a snack bar. Absolutely not recommended. We came here from the Hotel Hirsch, where the prices in the rooms were completely different (sample excerpt from the restaurant menu). Probably a completely outdated menu or simply deliberate misleading? I can't figure out where the good reviews come from; either critical ones are removed or the customers have never had a good meal. I strongly advise against this!

We were here for a delicious dinner on site. We really enjoyed the food, good Swabian cuisine, which we were looking forward to. The service was friendly and everything happened quickly. Our special requests were also no problem. The ambience with the inner courtyard and the covered seating was really nice, especially when there was a thunderstorm coming through and it was raining heavily but you were still dry.

Great and unique ambiance. The staff was good, but sometimes too busy chatting privately with each other to pay attention to the guests. Some of the food was overpriced, and the vegetarian dishes in particular were sold in a packet at outrageous prices. Overall, unfortunately, very disappointing.

I love the location, the ambiance, and the food, but unfortunately, it's always overshadowed by the rudeness of one of the waiters (an older, Italian gentleman). We briefly had a younger lady who was super nice, but he was just a jerk. I always like to take my mother there when I'm in Germany, but I won't do that anymore; it's too expensive to be served rudely.

Old and well-known eating place in the middle of the old town street in Eltingen. The food has rather smaller portions and is rather expensive. There was a dish for vegetarians on the lunch menu. It's great for those who love good-bourgeois cuisine and also for wine lovers. Mine wasn't quite like that.

Very nice, there were two small dishes to eat where it was cheap. Otherwise all other dishes and drinks were very expensive. Don't have to go there again.

We are more than disappointed. Been going there for years but that was the last time. Where has the good and always available salad buffet gone? The food has become more expensive and the service has become less!! When we arrived, our reservation couldn't be found, even though we had made a reservation on site just the day before. Bad organization! For dessert we ordered apple fritters for our child. However, the adult price was charged. When we complained about this, we were accused of saying that our child should have ordered it himself. Are you crazy? We tipped more than 10 percent. Then the operator could admit his mistake. Instead, no accommodation! When we then said that we wouldn't be coming back, we got the answer: "That's good." How you can deal with customers who leave enough money there...really impossible!!! Even during the meal there was no question as to whether everything was okay. That's what you should expect at this price and that's how it was in the past. Good service is different. Just disappointing.

Der Kartoffelsalat ist ein absolutes Highlight... Rostbraten und Rinderfilet immer zu empfehlen...

Sehr gute regionale Küche. Gute Weine und leckeres Bier. Aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt. Gerne wieder.

Alles tipptopp. Großartige Küche auf hohem Niveau - von der Vorspeise, über das Salatbuffet und die Hauptspeise bis zum Dessert. Sehr freundlicher Service. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Eines der besten Restaurants der Region. Drinnen wunderschön historisch Draußen ein genialer Biergarten mit viel Schatten und überdacht. Service perfekt und sehr schnell. Nicht günstig, aber Qualität hat seinen Preis, angemessen. Öfters wechselnde Karte, je nach Saison.

Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, gute Saure Nierle, Guter Zwiebelrostbraten. Sehr gute Bärlauchsuppe mit Lachsstücken, gute Creme Brülee mit einem hervorragenden Erdbeersalat. Augusto war ein sehr aufmerksamer Kellner, trotzdem hätte man die Teller schneller abtragen können. Einzelne Kellner hätten nicht nur herumstehen müssen. Die Lokationen draußen ist wunderschön zu sitzen auch für größere Gruppen. Auch für unseren vierbeinigen Begleiter wurde gesorgt.

Essen und Service top. Gemütliche Atmosphäre und eine achöne Auswahl auf der Karte. Da findet jeder etwas. Allerdings kostet teilweise ein vegetarisches Essen mehr als ein Essen mit Fleisch was meiner Meinung nach absolut fragwürdig und falsch ist. Das sollte geändert werden. Komme trotzdem gerne wieder.

Schöne, lauschige Lokalität, nettes und sehr freundliches Personal sowie hervorragende Gerichte in bester Qualität! Der Gewölbekeller hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente und eignet sich gut für kleinere Firmen- bzw Familienfeste.

Ein Abend mit Wohlfühlfaktor. Super Service, der alles im Griff hatte. Super Küche, das Wildragout zerfiel auf der Zunge. Auch Vor- und Nachspeise waren delikat. Genussvoller Abend der gern wiederholt werden darf.

Tolles Essen sehr guter Service

Tolles Essen mit saisonalen Angeboten/Spezialitäten in rustikalem Ambiente mit jahrzehntelanger Geschichte. Davon zeigen auch die zahlreichen Fotos an den Wänden, die diesem Ort das besondere Etwas verleihen. Das Mittagsmenü ist abwechslungsreich und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Ich empfehle, einen Tisch zu reservieren, da das Lokal meist sehr gut besucht ist. Komme seit Jahren immer wieder vorbei und habe keine schlechten Erfahrungen. Einzig die Sanitäreinrichtung könnte mal einen moderneren Touch bekommen, war jedoch sauber, daher gebe ich gerne 5 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. Weiter so und bis bald...

Ganz großes Plus für das super nette Personal und den Service. Gutbürgerliche, traditionelle Küche. Bisher immer lecker.

Heute mal Jahrgangstreffen mit Essen vom Grill. War echt super. Es gab natürlich auch die normale Speisekarte zur Auswahl. 😀👍

Der Service war gut.Aber das Essen war grenzwertig.Wir hatten Geschnetzeltes.Das Fleisch war trocken und zäh.Die Gewürze waren wohl nicht in der KücheSprich das Essenwar fad.Das Salatbüffet war auch nicht überragend.Preis und Leistung passten garnicht.

Sehr gutes Essen, wir kommen seit Jahren hierher. Auch größere Geburtstagsfeiern im Gewölbe waren immer sehr gut organisiert, das Essen war auch da gleich gut. Von der Karte gibt's auch einfachere schwäbische Spezialitäten wie Linsen, Spätzle und Saiten. Dabei könnten es etwas mehr Spätzle sein, wie auch bei anderen Gerichten. Insgesamt gut und freundliche Bedienung.

Der Service nicht nur aufmerksam auch überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen jedesmal sehr lecker und top Qualität. Wir kommen sehr oft und gerne immer wieder....
