Das Knusperschnitzel mit Pommes war eine Vollkatastrophe. Das Fleisch trocken, die Pommes die schlechteste und billigste Variante - dünn und gummi überhaupt nicht kross. Der kleine gemischte Salat, den man sich selber anmachen muss und 7,50 Euro kostet war vom Inhalt nicht einen Euro wert Aperol gibt es mit ganz wenig Eis und ist bei der Hitze sofort warm. Das Schweinefilet mit Spätzle ebenso nicht zu empfehlen. Auf dem Damen WC gab es zwei Toiletten, die rechte war Brille defekt, man konnte Deckel noch nicht einmal hochmachen. Die linke verdreckt. Das einzigste positive, was ich in Erinnerung behalte, ist der freundliche Kellner.Der hat alles gegeben, aber was hilft das, wenn der Koch nichts taugt. Fazit.... der letzte Eindruck vom Gast ist der wichtigste, Ziel leider nicht erreicht, komme nie wieder

Das Restaurant hat wirklich eine Top Lage und man kann schön direkt davor sitzen. Das Essen ist dafür umso schlimmer. Ich habe noch nie so einen schlechten Salat gegessen. Das Dressing bestand geschmacklich gefühlt nur aus Wasser - er war überhaupt nicht gewürzt und das Hühnchen war auch nicht besonders. Für 19,90€ erwarte ich hier deutlich mehr! Wir waren zu dritt und niemandem hat das Essen geschmeckt - absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Bedienung konnte nicht richtig deutsch, habe eigentlich null Problem damit, aber sie war dazu noch sehr unfreundlich. Der Fischteller sehr lustlos hergerichtet und dazu teuer. Eigentlich sehr schade, da die Lage wunderbar wäre.

Wir waren zu fünft dort. Meine Schwiegermutter bestellte ausdrücklich stilles Wasser. Trotzdem brachte die Kellnerin Wasser mit Kohlensäure und behauptete anschließend in einem sehr unangenehmen Ton, es sei genau so bestellt worden. Auf den Hinweis, dass „stilles Wasser mit Sprudel“ keinen Sinn ergibt, reagierte sie zunehmend unfreundlich und ausfallend. Dann hieß es plötzlich, die Getränke müssten sofort bezahlt werden. Nach dem Bezahlen vermittelte sie uns deutlich das Gefühl, dass wir nun auch gleich gehen könnten. Mein Mann bestellte trotzdem noch etwas zu essen. Leider konnte auch das Essen nicht überzeugen. Für rund 31 Euro war die Portion sehr klein, ohne richtige Beilage und insgesamt lieblos angerichtet. Auch beim Salat musste man die Sauce praktisch suchen. Preis und Leistung stehen hier für uns in keinem Verhältnis. Sehr schade, denn die Lage ist wunderschön und die mit Efeu bewachsene Stadtmauer schafft eigentlich eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Durch den unfreundlichen Service und das enttäuschende Essen wurde der Besuch jedoch vollständig verdorben. Für uns leider überhaupt nicht empfehlenswert.

Die Bedienung war freundlich, aber das Eis war von schlechter Qualität, hauptsächlich Wasser mit gefrorenen Früchten, und 2,90 € für ein Glas Wasser 😱 Wir haben den Fehler gemacht, vier Portionen zu bestellen 😭 Wir können es nicht empfehlen. Wir haben uns von der schönen Aussicht blenden lassen.

Ich war vor einem Monat in Friedrichshafen und habe zwei Mal das Essen und die gute Atmosphäre in dem an der Promenade liegen Restaurant gegessen. Personen sehr nett und vorkommen auch sehr aufmerksam, kurze Gespräch ist auch drin! Essen war lecker auch wenn man nur Kleinigkeiten bestellt, kann man genießen!! War bestimmt nicht letzte Mal dort!!

schöne Lage, unqualifiziertes Personal: wollte zu meinen Getränk ein wenig Leitungswasser. Bekommen habe ich es nicht. Bin dann zur Theke und um etwas Wasser gebeten um eine Tablette einzunehmen. Bei der Rechnung hätte ich dann 2,90 für ein Tafelwasser zahlen sollen mit Verweis auf das Glas das auf meinem Tisch stand und ich schließlich " Tafelwasser" bestellt hätte. Völlig überflüssige Diskussion hätte man mir bei der Bestellung mitgeteilt, dass kein Leitungswasser ausgeschenkt wird. Aber dann auch noch Tafelwasser bonieren, mir nicht bringen und dann 2,90 verlangen für einen Schluck Wasser selbst abgeholt an der Theke ist entweder pure Unverschämtheit oder komplettes Unvermögen.Hierher komm ich sicher nicht zum Essen, wenn schon ein Glas Wasser das Personal überfordert. Sidefakt: Kartenzahlung ab 30€ Hä????

Das Lesen der Bewertungen hätte mir den Ärger erspart. Service war ok, freundlich aber auch nix besonderes. Essen empfinde ich als Katastrophe. Salat mit "Fischknusperle" 19 Euro irgendwas. Das mag ok sein wenn das Essen gut ist. Der Salat war aber leider absolut das Gegenteil. Optisch und auch geschmacklich der liebloseste, einfallsloseste und fadeste Salat den ich in den letzten Jahren in der Gastro gegessen habe. Hier werden jeden Tag Touris geangelt die im Leben so oder so nie wieder kommen. Schade.

Tiefkühlessen Und kleine Portionen, man zahlt rein für die Aussicht, geht woanders hin! No recommendation, frozen food from the supermarket.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Restaurant direkt an der Promenade. Das Personal war nett und zuvorkommend. Kulinarisch waren wir begeistert: Der schwäbische Zwiebelrostbraten war ausgezeichnet – wirklich sehr gut zubereitet. Auch der Aperol Sprizz war super lecker. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier absolut. Und der Blick auf den See ist einfach traumhaft. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder – klare Empfehlung!

Lage ist top ! Erst wurden wir freundlich von einem jungen Mann empfangen .....dann kam eine unfreundliche Bedienung an unseren Tisch , lustlos und versteht wohl auch nicht gut deutsch ! Die Currywurst wahr eher eine Bratwurst mit überwürzter Sosse . Wir wollten kein Trinkgeld geben und meine Freundin bekam 2.20€ in cent zurück - Frechheit ! Mit bitte um ein Gespräch mit der Restaurantleitung wahr auch dieser nicht unbedingt freundlich und uneinsichtig !

Selten so schlecht für soooo viel Geld gegessen. Schade um die Lebensmittel und was daraus geworden ist. Aber super Service.

Wir fühlen uns hier wohl und das Essen schmeckt super und der Proseco super Bier super es passt für uns einfach wir komnen wieder

Es war ganz okay und die Bedienung war sehr höflich.

Es gibt von Pizza über Gyros bis hin zu deutschem Essen alles. So hat es auch geschmeckt. Alles Fertiggerichte aus der Fritteuse.

Einfach grausam. Wenn ich Pizza bestelle möchte ich eine frische Pizza essen und keine Tiefkühlpizza für knapp 16 Euro. Eine bodenlose Frechheit. Nie wieder.

Schlimmste Pizza, die ich je gegessen habe. 13 € für eine kleine Pizza, und geschmacklich war sie wie eine Tiefkühlpizza vom Kaufland. Schock meines Lebens. Der Kellner war aber sehr freundlich.

Gemütlicher Außenbereich mit angenehmen Mitarbeitern und leckerem Essen

Wir waren 2 mal vor Ort. Einmal zum Mittagessen und einmal zum Abendessen. Beim Mittagessen wurde uns erst beim Bestellen mitgeteilt, dass es bis 17 Uhr nur Essen von der gesonderten Mittagskarte gibt, die sich nicht bei uns auf dem Tisch befand. Zum Glück mussten wir uns nur bei einem Essen spontan umentscheiden, alle anderen waren auch auf der Mittagskarte vorhanden. Das Essen kam zügig und war sehr lecker, wir hatten das Knusperschnitzel mit Pommes. Nach etwa 10 Minuten kam die Bedienung und bat uns zu zahlen, da Schichtwechsel sei und sie das Handy weiter geben müsse. Da wir mit Karte zahlen wollten und dies nur im Innenbereich möglich war, durften wir aber noch aufessen. Beim zweiten Besuch waren wir abends da. Die Getränke wurden von einer Bedienung gebracht, die leider kein Deutsch sprach und deswegen nicht sagen konnte, in welchem Glas welches Getränk war. Das Essen war wiederum sehr lecker (Zanderfilet mit Kartoffelgratin & Schweinesteak mit Spätzle). Der Nachtisch, ein Brownie mit Vanilleeis, war dann ein Highlight zum Abschluss, wenn man von dem Haar auf der Sahne absieht. Alles in allem fand ich das Essen sehr lecker, den Preis okey und den Service ausbaufähig. Vor allem das Bezahlsystem sollte überdacht werden.

Wir hatten Besuch aus Ausland und haben uns leider für diese *Restaurant* entschieden. Ich habe den Apfelstrudel und Pizza bestellt und war äußerst enttäuscht. Der Strudel war geschmacklos und erinnerte eher an einem von billiger Tiefkühlware als an ein traditionelles Dessert. Pizza war leider auch so. Als ich meine Bedenken äußerte, wurde ich von einem sehr arroganten und unsympathischen Filialleiter behandelt. Seine nervöse Art und die unprofessionelle Reaktion, dass er “nicht extra für mich Strudel von der Konditorei bestellen” würde und "niemanden dafür einstellt", waren völlig unangebracht. Ich würde diesen Apfelstrudel niemandem empfehlen und rate dazu, andere Optionen in Betracht zu ziehen, wenn man auf der Suche nach einem echten Geschmackserlebnis ist. Nicht umsonst hat diese Restaurant hier nur 2 Sterne

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food! The menu states in bold letters at the beginning that the food is freshly prepared, but our order (cheese spaetzle and schnitzel with potato salad) arrived in less than five minutes. The schnitzel was frozen from the deep fryer, and the potato salad was ready-made from the tub. The spaetzle seemed homemade but were reheated in the microwave!!! Unfortunately, not recommended.

I was there for the first time a few days ago and spontaneously ordered the plain schnitzel with fries and cream sauce. I was absolutely thrilled; the sauce was super delicious, and the meat was also very tender. The fries were well salted, which wasn't a problem for me since I like things a bit saltier. Dessert was a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream—I loooove it.

You'll have to judge for yourself. I thought the food was great, and the benches right by the water are also great, but they're always the first to leave 😅 The price is completely reasonable. The staff is friendly, but you get the impression that they're rehearsing their orders. Drinks, food, dessert, quick, thank you, bye. Everything was fine, but just rehearsed. But nonetheless, the food was great, friendly, and clean.

Satisfactory service, but prices are quite high for the mediocre quality of the pizza. It was edible, but the inside was very cheesy and soggy. However, the 2.3-star rating is a bit exaggerated and undervalued.

We had dinner here today. The ambiance was really nice with a view of the lake. The service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered two pork fillets with "cream sauce and mushrooms." The quality of the meat was good, but the sauce was a disaster. Brown sauce with a few mushrooms that was very salty. I could be wrong, but I think it was some kind of ready-made sauce made with powder. It has nothing to do with cream sauce, because then the sauce would have been light and made with cream. That was definitely not the case here. We also had croquettes. These were frozen, so nothing special. Why they had to sprinkle salt over every croquette is a mystery to me. The salad garnish was a bit ridiculous. A small leaf of lettuce with half a cocktail tomato. You can do that, but for €25, I expect more than this pathetic garnish. The shop prides itself on being in business for many years, dating back to the 1950s. Either the chef was more skilled back then, or they thrive on one-time customers. In any case, this place won't see us again.

A temple of convenience foods. Enough to fill you up, but nothing more. You can find delicious food elsewhere.

The current rating is pretty bad. The restaurant and location are top-notch. The food is okay, just what any home cook could make. Prices are rather high. The restaurant has everything from gyros to pizza to fast food. It should find an identity that fits the location. The staff was mostly friendly.

We were satisfied, nice/tasty but you should bring some time

We often visit Friedrichshafen and wanted to try this restaurant... Never again. The salad is from a pre-packaged dish, so the other reviews about the salad are correct. And charging so much for it is outrageous. The meat was dry. The cheese spaetzle was still decent. The only positive thing was the view of Lake Constance.

The restaurant is beautifully located. The waiters were moderately enthusiastic. The price-performance ratio wasn't right. They served children's portions at high prices. When we asked, we got a little more, but after a discussion. The view is truly amazing and the cheese spaetzle is good, the potato gratin is bland. It looks like a lot in the pictures, but the bowl was a cereal bowl, and the other one was a 7x7 potato gratin.

Nette schnelle Bedienung, allerdings war bei fish and chips kaum Fisch, meist Panade, der Wein sehr teuer und schließlich wurde bei der überhöhten Kartenzahlung erst auf Nachfrage der fehlerhafte Kassenbon vorgelegt und der um 25% überhöhte Betrag zurückgezahlt.

The food was of extremely poor quality – my schnitzel with fries was more reminiscent of cafeteria food than a meal in a restaurant in this price range. It was poorly presented, tasted bland, and lacked any freshness. The fact that they charged a comparatively high price for it makes the whole thing all the more annoying. Even the ambiance couldn't salvage the impression. The condition of the restrooms was particularly negative – unkempt, dated, and simply unappetizing. Such conditions are unacceptable in a restaurant. The only positive aspect is the service: The staff was friendly and attentive, even if they ultimately couldn't change the overall disappointing experience. *Conclusion:* The *Weinkeller Stadtmauer* feels more like a tourist trap than a culinary destination. If you are looking for good food in a sophisticated atmosphere, you should definitely choose one of the many better restaurants in Friedrichshafen.

What came next was an experience somewhere between a tourist trap and a health risk. After waiting for over an hour - probably because the chef had to open the freezer first - we were served dishes that could be classified somewhere between “school cafeteria 1995” and “Eastern Front food”. The prices, however? More on the “delicatessen level in KaDeWe” level. But of course - the owner's Rolex doesn't want to shine from tips. As a free feature: 5/7 people at the table had stomach cramps or nausea and everyone asked themselves the philosophical question of whether this was a menu or a medical self-experiment. Conclusion: A real tourist trap. So if you have too much money and a stable stomach - or are simply looking for a humbling experience - then go ahead. Everyone else: Run. Simply. Runs.

Prices of the drinks are a rip off. 0.5l wine spritzer per liter is more expensive than if you order 0.2l. The waitress even says that she has already pointed this out to the boss, but he doesn't want to change it. In my opinion the price was deliberately chosen to deceive the guests. Exact measurements in the map are also very confusingly placed. I'd rather not go to this restaurant again.

Einzig das Ambiente ist schön. Es wird mit frischen Fisch geworben. Es war TK Ware, lieblos angerichtet und völlig trocken. Der Gyros Salat war auch nur schlecht. Völlig überzogene Preise. Schade, dass wir nicht zuerst TripAdvisor gelesen haben.

Familiengeführt und Hausgemacht verspricht viel leider schmeckt alles gleich und schon fertig angeliefert. Das Versprechen der Speisekarte Wind in keinster Weiße umgesetzt. Sehr schade denn es ist ein Schatz aus dem man was machen könnte.

Really average. Friendly service. We were served quickly. Excessive prices. The children's pizzas were small for €14.50. Ordered fish, small plate with potato gratin served lukewarm. Supermarket remoulade sauce. “Exotic” toilets. Deceptive location on the harbor promenade. There is better without a doubt.

Passion Fruit Mojito For 12 euros, very expensive, comes in a small, not full glass. And it tastes terrible and the food is not good. I ordered it. The fish was so fatty and the potatoes were so dry that I got lost in this shop because of the decor and location without reading the reviews, so my meal was the most disappointing.

Food wasn't good, cold, salad that was already wilted. Potato gratin was sour and from the micro, as was the cheese spaetzle. Röstitaler from the frozen food counter and then everything for a price that is not justified!!! Drinks were not carbonated and currently have none. Unfortunately not recommended!!!

The location is great, but nothing more. Food way too overpriced. Frozen schnitzel, spaetzle without taste, dry salad, portions far too small. Only the cheese noodles were ok. In addition, the service hardly speaks German (the waiter addressed me as "brother"), our request to pay was ignored and I was given normal juice instead of a spritzer.

We chose the restaurant because of the beautiful lake view. For dinner we had the vegetarian pizza and Röstitaler. Unfortunately, the latter frozen goods and the salad were rather average. The pizza was homemade as advertised, but rather small and not balanced. Our experience was okay overall, but we won't remember it as outstanding.

Food was somewhat okay. There were two of us here and we ate onion roast beef with cheese spaetzle. Ordered medium, mine was great, the other one was pretty bloody. Ambience so-so, service tries to make everything right. But I still wouldn't go here again. In the entrance area you first walk past the service clearing station, dirty dishes and a small organic bucket for the guests' leftovers, including a small scent.

Without reading the reviews, we sat down at this restaurant. While waiting we realized that we had apparently ended up in the worst restaurant in Friedrichshafen. But that wasn't the case! Food was delicious, service was attentive and friendly. In the end we were pleasantly surprised.

Crispy schnitzel from the daily special frozen goods, unfortunately fries not crispy. The fish and chips were also very greasy. Food quality was more than disappointing and not worth the money for us. The service also seemed listless. Overall not recommended, at most to go for a drink. It's a shame that the great ambience isn't used for a proper catering concept without warmed-up frozen food.

We wanted to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the harbor with a cappuccino and a small snack, but then it became uncomfortable. The cutlery for our group was placed on the table completely dirty. Apparently other guests had eaten with this beforehand. Something like that shouldn't happen!!! When we asked for compensation for this very unpleasant event for us, we were called to the managing director, who had no understanding and said that we had ordered too little for compensation. It was really a very unpleasant situation and completely unprofessional. That's why I unfortunately can't recommend this restaurant!

Unfortunately, I was actually served a frozen pizza. However, the waitress was extremely friendly and the view of Lake Constance was simply fantastic. Despite this unappetizing pizza experience, I still give it a 4-star rating.

Expensive school canteen with a nice view. Schnitzel is definitely frozen goods, the spaetzle is so-so... grandma Maggi's cream sauce from the bag. Overall it doesn't taste like anything. The potato salad was completely forgotten. After reading the reviews about this one, I was fine with it :-). Prices definitely too expensive for quality!

We were only there to have coffee and cake. The coffee and cake tasted good, but the “Hot Brownie” was a mini piece that wasn't warm and you pay €8.90 for that, which is a disgrace. In total we paid around €25 for two cakes and a coffee, unfortunately the price-performance ratio isn't right at all. Otherwise the ambience and service is okay.

All in all: looks like something, but can't do anything & the price is really a rip-off for what you actually get.

Tourist trap! Great location right on the lake! A crispy schnitzel with potato salad was ordered. Unfortunately nothing was crispy here, on the contrary... Quote from the menu: "All of our dishes are prepared individually and freshly for you..." in reality it tastes like potato salad from the bucket and schnitzel from the freezer and the fries - preferably the ones from the golden M. Drinks also had to be returned because these were not drinkable. The service was attentive… Unfortunately, overall I was very disappointed.

Great location right on the lake, but that doesn't save this review either. After the cycling marathon we were very hungry and saw that they had schnitzel here, so let's go, park our bikes and sit down. We wanted a breaded schnitzel with cream sauce instead of plain, it just costs €2 extra, okay then just one plain and one breaded. When the food came you could immediately see that the fries were simply 1:1 from McDonald's. Ridiculous. The portions were also very small. We were asked whether we would like mayonnaise or ketchup with the fries, to which we answered "yes". We then got these Heinz packs which later cost €1 per pack! Are you crazy? The only plus point here was the beer, this is Schussenrieder which I personally think is good. In the end we left the table hungry and still left €55 for two people. You have to know.

The ambience and the location are really great. The food, on the other hand, was an absolute failure: the boiled potatoes were completely overcooked, and I wasn't sure about the fish (as confirmed by the waiter) whether it was fresh from Lake Constance or fresh from the freezer came. The best part was undoubtedly the herb butter. Dessert was apple strudel, albeit from the supermarket. That's not possible in a well-known apple region like Lake Constance. And the prices topped it all off: completely overpriced. That doesn't justify the situation either.

We didn't read the review until after we ate and were glad we did, as we probably wouldn't have stopped there based on the bad reviews. The service was super friendly. The food was fresh and very tasty. I particularly liked the homemade garlic butter. The food we ordered came within 15 minutes, despite a full beer garden. We were allowed to sit right by the lake and had a wonderful view and a very nice and pleasant evening. I absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews

The Kusperschnitzel turned out to be a simple breaded schnitzel, which was rather average. The fries were crispy and ok, but everything came dry and without sauce, mayo cost extra. When we explained to the staff the difference between a normal and a crispy schnitzel, all we got was a shrug of the shoulders. The women's toilet was a disgrace and the joints on the outside table had not been cleaned for a long time. Here it is not enough to wipe it with a damp cloth, you also have to use a brush to get into the approx. 1cm wide joints. For us, the low point of our two week vacation.

Location great, service good, food and price not so much. The food itself was tasty, but almost all of it was ready-made. Salad was pre-cut salad mix from the bag, like in the refrigerated section at Aldi. Demanding €17 for that is very cheeky. Better go to a restaurant next door

Absolut unterirdisch! In der Karte wird mit frisch zubereitetem Essen geworben, bekommen haben wir lieblos angerichtete Tiefkühlware die msn in jeder Imbisbude bekommt aber zu Restaurantpreisen. Es wurden Ausreden gefunden… Absolut keine Empfehlung!

The service is unmotivated and not attentive at all. some of them don't understand the language either. but the food is absolute impudence. Chips and fish for just under 20 euros is cheeky. especially because they are fries floating in oil and the fish also comes from the frozen food department. the pizzas should be homemade. What's homemade about it if I take the ready-made dough from Aldi and then add a few ingredients to it? Worst pizza we've ever eaten. especially because something about the food wasn't good and the toilet was my bed at night. stay away from the place. Better pass it by and eat somewhere else

Unfortunately we didn't read the review. However, it would have been better. Unfortunately, service wasn't the best, long waiting times with few guests. In general, the schnitzel with fries was absolutely dry and the fries were soggy. Salt the pork fillet in mushroom cream. The portions were generally very small. Expensive prices! The view was still great!

Wir waren gegen 19:00 mit der Familie hier. Aufgrund der schlechten Bewertungen waren wir erst geschockt, konnten diese jedoch gar nicht verstehen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen ging etwas lang, jedoch nicht sehr. Ich hatte ein Rumpsteak medium mit pommes. Die pommes waren gut gesalzen und auch das rumpsteak war gut. Rundum ein angenehmer Aufenthalt und gutes Essen.

We came here spontaneously without reading a review. The atmosphere here right on the lake is great. We were well served. The food was enough and very good. Prices are standard for the Lake Constance region. I don't know where these bad reviews come from. Just go there.

I had crispy fish salad. The crispy cookies were tasty, the salad was ok. My husband's char siew not only looked delicious, it was delicious too. I can easily recommend this restaurant.

Operation is flawless and when you consider the pressure to perform here with all the bad reviews, it's remarkable that you can't help but grin. The toilet is more like something you should get away with. Then you don't order another beer anymore. Card payment from €30 is so exotic that it's good again. Anyone who likes adventure is well served here. We’ll do this again in… 23 years.
