Absolut unterirdisch! In der Karte wird mit frisch zubereitetem Essen geworben, bekommen haben wir lieblos angerichtete Tiefkühlware die msn in jeder Imbisbude bekommt aber zu Restaurantpreisen. Es wurden Ausreden gefunden… Absolut keine Empfehlung!

Wir waren gegen 19:00 mit der Familie hier. Aufgrund der schlechten Bewertungen waren wir erst geschockt, konnten diese jedoch gar nicht verstehen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen ging etwas lang, jedoch nicht sehr. Ich hatte ein Rumpsteak medium mit pommes. Die pommes waren gut gesalzen und auch das rumpsteak war gut. Rundum ein angenehmer Aufenthalt und gutes Essen.

Déjeuner face au lac mais sous la pluie, le cadre n'est pas très avenant et la serveuse semble peu concernée. Nous avons choisi du le porc grillé frites et le poulet hawaïen croquettes pdt + 2 cafés et 2 bières, mais ce n'est vraiment pas bon et les cuissons laissent à désirer. Le tout pour 65€, passez votre chemin il y a certainement beaucoup mieux pas très loin.

Das Essen war eine Katastrophe ! Als die Teller kamen dachten wir , wir hätten 2 „Rester Teller“ bekommen. Alles auf einfach lieblos auf die Teller geschmissen … Wir bestellen Kartoffelgratin mit Salat. Alles völlig ungewürzt,und trocken, der Auflauf sah aus als lege er schon den ganzen Tag und wurde nur kurz aufgewärmt. So schmeckte es dann auch ! Der Kellner war zwar nicht unfreundlich aber er hatte merklich keine Lust auf seinen Job! Leider war an unserem Tisch noch ein Gullideckel und es hat furchtbar gestunken die ganze Zeit… Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder !

The restaurant horror has a name. Absolute waste of money and time. We had salad with crispy fish and salad with turkey gyros for around €20 each. No choice in dressing. You just put vinegar and oil on the table. There is no such thing as French dressing. The crispy fish, which was dripping with fat and completely dry inside, had no sauce or anything like a dip/herb quark. I later ordered and paid for it separately. Turkey gyros? Absolutely ridiculous! Tasteless and bone dry. We've never had something so cheaply prepared on our plate before. The staff was friendly, but far too young and clueless. I don't even want to think about the hourly wage paid...🤨 It's a shame that there is no way to stop such business behavior. Better go eat a kebab somewhere. There's a good chance you'll get better quality and only pay half as much.

I walked along the promenade and spontaneously decided to have something to eat here. I actually always look for Google reviews when it comes to restaurants, but not this time and I immediately regretted it. The menu included a turkey steak with fries for €23.50. I ordered the dish with salad instead of fries, also for €23.50. A delicious and well-fried turkey steak arrived with a piece of old herb butter, a lot of iceberg lettuce, garnished with a slice of cucumber and half a cherry tomato. The salad dressing was so thin that it didn't help the salad and at first it seemed like the salad didn't even have any dressing. I then ordered more dressing. When I had the last bite in my mouth and was still chewing, the service person came, asked if I was ready and took the plate away from me 😂! Service was friendly, but seemed very stressed. Women's toilets unclean.

Despite bad reviews, we ate at the Stadtmauer wine cellar. Top terrace directly overlooking the lake. Conditions friendly and attentive but very tired (working conditions?). Delicious salad. Cheese spaetzle ok but very dry

Absolutely disappointing - not recommended! We ate in this restaurant today to end our vacation nicely. If only we had read the reviews beforehand! My pizza was greasy and my companion's overpriced salad was just a bad joke. The turkey was dry and completely oversalted, and the salad came without any dressing. Recently, both of us have been feeling sick after eating and we constantly have to go to the quiet place. That simply can't be true! The service also left something to be desired: after just 3 minutes it was no longer possible to change our order. The only good thing was the view of Lake Constance. Conclusion: We can only advise against eating here. A real disappointment!

Food far too expensive for supermarket noodles, scandalous, ripping off poor students

I wanted to order goulash soup, which according to the menu was also a tip from the restaurant. Unfortunately out. My wife orders pizza, the nice waitress comes over and tells us that unfortunately pizza is also out. My wife and I then shared my currywurst. The children had spaetzle with sauce. I'm not the best cook myself, but I would actually make spaetzle better. Unfortunately I only read the other reviews after waiting a long time for the food, otherwise I would have avoided it. The service was nice.

Nice atmosphere right on the lake. That's the only positive thing! Unfortunately, we didn't pay attention to the recessions beforehand! Service was okay. Drinks came quickly. Eating a disaster! Salad city wall: Two dry slices of bread, meat oversalted and dry, salad without taste. The pizza was very greasy. When the service staff asked me how the food tasted and my criticism of it, he only gave me a tired smile! A short time after eating, my friend and I felt sick and our stomachs rumbled, so we had to go to the quiet place several times.

I will never come to this restaurant again. The manager really needs to learn how to talk to the customers. If you're not from Germany don’t even think to came here. I don't recommend it.

Were on site on July 19, 2024. Very nice staff.. At the table next to us. 3 super princes from abroad. Without manners or other behavior... The boss and staff handled the situation very well. Of course, all 3 of the princes left a bad Google rating.

The location by the lake is great, the service was very friendly and attentive. The food was a disaster. The spaghetti Bolognese was completely overcooked and tasted like a cheap finished product. At 15 euros, it's outrageously expensive. Pork fillet with mushroom cream sauce wasn't much better either. Soft mushrooms in a salty sauce that tastes like a ready-made bag for an impressive 26 euros. You feel ripped off.

Simply not recommended. You're not even allowed to change your table. Craziness.

By far the worst pizza base in a long time… fries and salad were good! Schnitzel is more of a cheap variety but tastes good! The still water (table water) comes in a 5dl glass and we are not sure whether it comes from the tap. If that's the case, it would be overpriced! Tourist hotspot... 😛The service was friendly and attentive... but wouldn't come here again!

First of all, I would like to say that I have never experienced such unfriendly service in my entire life. The two of us are sitting at a table right by the lake. Instead of asking what we want to drink and eat, we are told that we are only sitting for 4 or 6 people and asked us to leave. Apparently two people's money isn't worth anything. I can't say anything about the food because it didn't get to that point. I think it's very sad. Maybe the management should change their mind and accept every paying guest no matter where they sit

The location is absolutely great on the lake. Our waitress was very nice and tried to take care of us despite her hectic pace. The food wasn't anything special but it was tasty. However, my companion's cheese spaetzle was praised. Prices were brutally high, but that doesn't excuse the location. The reviews are largely correct. At first glance the restaurant seems good, but when you think about it overall, drinks (watery), food (a lot of cheap food, etc.) I unfortunately can't get beyond the 3 stars, but that could be changed with just a few simple steps.

Unfortunately no zero star rating is possible. Roast onion roast was so tough and streaky that I couldn't cut it or chew it. I complained about this to the waitress. She left with my plate and after 10 minutes a young, scruffy looking waiter with a facial piercing comes and tells me he asked the chef, my meat was great, what was my problem anyway. I told him the meat was inedible. He tells me again that this is not true and I have to pay the full price for the dish. So I paid 31.90 euros and ate 2 forks of spaetzle, which also tasted really bad. I can only warn you about this tourist trap!

The food was terrible, the salad had no dressing and for 18 euros I will never go there again

It was very comfortable and nice to sit in, but our service was quite unfriendly and unmotivated, which was pretty easy to hear. For almost €20 for a salt, I expect a better dressing and definitely a tartar sauce or something similar for the fish crispy. Unfortunately, we only looked at the reviews afterwards and can easily understand why they weren't so good here.

Food is really bad, do not eat the cake it's that bad. Still everything else is good. The lake view and people are really friendly.

Almost got raw schnitzel and after complaining received the same schnitzel with the old cold fries! Disgusting! This is impossible and the public order and health department should investigate this restaurant carefully! That's probably why the restaurant was empty!!! There is no contact address for the owner!

Service good and friendly. Pizza underground, trying to improve a ready-made pizza with supermarket ingredients is more than borderline. The result on the plate was devastating. As an operator, you should take action in this regard as quickly as possible.

Despite the low star rating, we went out to eat here and wanted to give the place a chance. We weren't disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious. The drinks were also good. The fish (sailing) was amazing, the service was friendly, helpful and quick and the design of the restaurant is very nice. We came twice and love to come back again.

This really was the worst meal I've had in a long time. We actually wanted to go to another location, but since the wine cellar had many free places, including right by the water, we spontaneously decide to eat there. We had a turkey steak with fries (oversalted) and the roasted platter. The rösti were mini frozen rösti and there was also a very coarsely chopped salad including stalks that had hardly any taste. The service was friendly but not particularly motivated. The view is great.

Went there for lunch upon arrival. The turkey steak was okay, but nothing special. Then we wanted to have a wine there on Saturday evening at 7.30 p.m. The waitress skillfully ignored us for 10 minutes and cleared something away. A colleague then took pity and told us that it was already closed... on Saturdays at 7.30 p.m. Well, we left our money somewhere else. Location really great, but that’s about it.

We weren't there until around 1:30-2 p.m., I think that's why the food came very quickly. The fish and chips (probably not part of the regular menu) were freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Price/performance was right. Great ambience thanks to the arcades overgrown with ivy and the view of the lake!

The food is a disaster. Schnitzel with potato salad, the potato salad from a bucket, just how it tasted. Schnitzel with spaetzle, the spaetzle soaked in butter. The waitress doesn't even ask anymore if everything was okay. She knows that the food here is a disaster. 2 times schnitzel, once with spaetzle, once with potato salad, small mixed salad, small fries, a small water, cola and special €65.50. NO RECOMMENDATION!!!

The food is incredibly expensive for the portions. The pizza is comparable to a bake-off pizza, if it wasn't one. Service takes forever to arrive and is extremely unfriendly. I would never eat there again. The only positive thing was the location right on the lake. That would be a case for Peter Giesel.

Can't say anything negative, attentive, friendly service, food came quickly, tasted good and was nicely prepared, really great for a Whitsun Sunday at 1 p.m. The places right by the lake are great.👍

Food was ok but nothing special. Rather expensive. The price can only be explained by the fact that you have to pay a surcharge because of the location. Which brings me to the ambience, which is the best thing about the restaurant. Especially on nice days right on the lake shore on the promenade is something special. Unfortunately, there are deductions in my service because card payments are only possible from €30. For example, if you just want to drink an iced coffee, a beer or something else on the promenade, this can only be paid for in cash. This is no longer appropriate in 2024.

ZERO STARS!!! Given the poor food, there isn't even a better rating for the view of the lake. The most expensive and worst frozen pizza I have ever eaten in my entire life. The view of Lake Constance and the mountains is really great when the weather is nice. But the seating options don't invite you to linger. The crispy schnitzel with fries was a pre-fried frozen schnitzel and by no means crispy, but the side fries were very good. Unfortunately no ketchup. My wife had a pork loin steak with homemade spaetzle and sauce. Steak looked like it came out of a package. The spaetzle were by no means homemade, but were soggy and the sauce was inedible. The orange juice was the worst I've ever drunk. The service staff weren't rude, but they weren't courteous either. This was the second visit to this restaurant, everyone deserves a second chance, there definitely won't be a third attempt.

Unfortunately I can't leave a good review for this store. When we arrived we were advised there would be an hour wait for food, this wasn't a problem for us. Afterwards it was said that several dishes on the menu (including pizza) were no longer available because they were sold out. But guests who came after us still got pizza. So we looked at the map again and decided to change. An hour and 15 minutes after we ordered, the staff came to us again and told us that there was no more Bolognese and that we should choose another meal. We then decided to pay for the drinks and leave. Waiting time would have been completely fine, but the fact that it only becomes apparent that the dish is no longer in stock more than an hour AFTER ordering is a no-go. We went home hungry, angry and with sore buttocks because there weren't even cushions for the wooden benches.

Food took forever. After a good half an hour we were informed what was no longer in stock. Almost everything. Food wasn't warm. It was sunny and generally busy. But in our opinion, such situations are known. It was now the second time in this restaurant that there were only a handful of dishes to choose from and even then we had to improvise with the side dishes. All four at the table were drunk when food was served. Nobody thought to ask if we wanted anything else. We'll avoid that in the future

The only thing that is right in this restaurant is the ambience. The service is a disaster. After endless 10 minutes, a service person finally came. After this service person took the order, it took another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. The food we ordered, twice Turkey steak with French fries, only comes after a waiting time of 35! Minutes and then the wrong food. (Turkey steak Hawaii with croquettes) The service staff then cheekily claimed that we had ordered turkey steak Hawaii. When we pointed out to her that something had been done wrong in the kitchen, she didn't believe it. Only after consulting with her She believed the kitchen. We decided not to change the order and paid for the drinks. This restaurant is NOT recommended because the service staff and kitchen are completely overwhelmed. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

It is a complete impudence that there is handmade spaetzle on the menu with a lug and they were sold to us after we asked whether they were handmade for €18 per person. These are a ready-made cheat pack with ready-made fried onions from the kitchen. Unfortunately, this restaurant only knows how to prepare ready-made meals. The salad was prepared and chopped up like it was for piglets 🐷 we got dirty glasses soda citron order me soda. Defensive -10 stars The innkeeper also talks down to his employees and that is absolutely not possible. The sticky hard bags of Gouda spaetzle were not eaten. 🤮 disgusting, sickening! The only nice thing was the view of the lake.

Very long waiting time We ordered salad wrong at first and delivered a soup. Afterwards salad and main course were delivered correctly and then we ran out of pizza so we had to order something else. And that on a sunny Friday evening. Not recommendable!!!!

Very frustrating, location is great but prices are absolutely terrible; But the food was really disappointing, the onion roast had a lot of cheap fried onions thrown on it, the meat tasted like fish and definitely not fresh, the portions were generally not filling and had a blatant frozen taste, but we still waited for ages when the shop wasn't even full. If you're not passionate about the job (kitchen + service), maybe you should think about something else because it just ruins the day for tourists :/

Well-attended restaurant with a view of Lake Constance. We had pike-perch fillet with boiled potatoes and cheese spaetzle with salad. The meal was delicious. Fast service that was courteous. Prices are reasonable for the location. Overall recommended!

1. Onion roast for €31.90: not worth it! Fried onions from a can, meat was English instead of medium and quite tough. Kässpätzle were okay and plentiful. 2. Captain Nemo (sausages with fries + ketchup: Nicely prepared. Sausage as octopus was okay. Fries soggy and neither salted nor seasoned. The ketchup sachet was already on another plate because it was greasy and had dried ketchup stuck to it. Ambience really nice, cozy and exceptional in the wine cellar. The room had a wooden door that unfortunately kept banging/slamming. This could be left open. Our conclusion: We won't come again. Far too expensive for this quality.

The view for dinner is fantastic, we tried pumpkin soup and cheese spaetzle there in October and the lemonade was great. Overall good experience.

Absolutely unpleasant experience on the first day of vacation. Ordered two fish dishes that were neither visually nor tasty. Despite being very hungry, we returned half-full plates. The service worker cashed in because she wanted to finish work. No question as to whether everything was okay. Given that the plates were still almost full, they probably wanted to avoid the negative feedback. Definitely not worth another visit. There are many restaurateurs on the shore where you get value for your money. Here you are simply fobbed off cheaply for a lot of money.

In one word: underground. Detailed: Ambiance: Drafty and poorly heated. Food: Pork fillet with mushroom cream sauce and salad. The quality of the dishes ordered is nowhere near the price level. Service: The service staff responded to criticism with incomprehension and said there was nothing they could do about it. But she then brought a piece of cheesecake to make up for it - unfortunately it was just as tasteless as the main course. Oh yeah, and you didn't get full either.

Das Essen ist eine absolute Frechheit. Ein angepriesenes Knusperschnitzel mit Pommes für 16.90€ stellte sich als Tiefkühlschnitzel aus der Fritteuse heraus. Dazu gab es Pommes ohne irgendwelche Beilagen oder Ketchup. Kurz vor 20 Uhr wurde um einen herum schon alles zusammengeräumt, von einer unfreundlichen Bedienung die offensichtlich keine List zum Arbeiten hatte.

Schön gelegen, direkt am See. Einrichtung wirkt einladend, die Bedienung war nett. Das bestellte Essen kam sehr schnell, keine 10 Minuten nach der Bestellung. Schnitzel war aufgewärmte Tiefkühlmassenware Kartoffelsalat okay. Das ganze war geniessbar. Die Käsespätzle schmeckten hingegen sehr gut. Preise sind angemessen.

Echt teuer wie zum durchschnittlichen Verhältnis, aber recht gut von der Atmosphäre

Wir waren gestern Abend im Restaurant. Saßen unten im Keller. Zunächst war der Tisch den wir mit 7 Personen bekommen würden noch belegt, haben kurz gewartet. Als er frei wurde konnten wir uns setzen, alles wurde abgeräumt, Tisch nicht abgeputzt. Es stand Gerümpel im Raum an einer Wand, Fenster hinter uns konnte nicht geschlossen werden, somit hat es irgendwann ziemlich gezogen. Das Essen war noch okay. Hatte Lachsfilet auf Salatbeilage. Von Fischmesser haben sie wohl noch nie gehört. Die Salatsoße fand ich sehr lecker, auch die dazugehörige Kräuterbutter war sehr gut, das Kartoffelgratin war trocken und fad. Beim Nachbestellen von Soße beim Zwiebelrostbraten kam ne andere als zuvor. Den Gang zur Toilette unterlässt man lieber, hier muss man durch ne Abstellkammer. Ich werde dieses Restaurant kein zweites Mal besuchen.

Die Atmosphäre ist sehr schön . Unsere Bestellungen (Pizza , salat und Pommes) haben wir 35 min gewartet. Sehr lange Warte Zeit und für die Preise Portion sehr klein. Pommes 6,5€ salat 17,5€ bezahlt 😳

A kolbász salátàtól többet vártunk. KB fèl kg csíkokra vágott " pàrizsi" 2 szelet kenyérrel.A kiszolgàlás nehézkes,lassú.Az àrak magasak.

Um 13 Uhr zum Mittagessen eingekehrt und es gab fast nichts mehr von der Karte obwohl scheinbar wenig Betrieb war. Mein Steak war lauwarm und einfach nur trocken, einzig die Kräuterbutter war überzeugend. Meiner dreijährigen Tochter hat man erst das falsche Gericht gebracht, dann nochmals was anderes wie bestellt und als ich mich dann beschwert habe dann endlich das richtige wobei sie vor lauter Hunger bis dahin dann meine Pommes aufgegessen hatte. Der Kellner verstand kaum deutsch. Als ich eine andere Kellnerin auf das Problem mit dem Gericht meiner Tochter ansprach hieß es lediglich sie sei nicht zuständig. Wickelmöglichkeiten gibt es keine, man bot mir an meine einjährige Tochter vor der Toilette auf dem dreckigen Boden einer Art Abstellkammer zu wickeln. Habe sie dann mitten im Restaurant gewickelt. Hatte auch insgesamt das Gefühl das Kleinkinder nicht so gerne gesehen sind. Alles in allem ist es rausgeworfen es Geld dort einzukehren.
