The worst pizza I've ever eaten in my life.

Food good, service and atmosphere very pleasant.

They served frozen pizza for 18€!!! You have to wait at least half an hour for drinks even if the waiters have time and ignore you even if you tap them

The location is great, but nothing more. Food way too overpriced. Frozen schnitzel, spaetzle without taste, dry salad, portions far too small. Only the cheese noodles were ok. In addition, the service hardly speaks German (the waiter addressed me as "brother"), our request to pay was ignored and I was given normal juice instead of a spritzer.

We chose the restaurant because of the beautiful lake view. For dinner we had the vegetarian pizza and Röstitaler. Unfortunately, the latter frozen goods and the salad were rather average. The pizza was homemade as advertised, but rather small and not balanced. Our experience was okay overall, but we won't remember it as outstanding.

Food was somewhat okay. There were two of us here and we ate onion roast beef with cheese spaetzle. Ordered medium, mine was great, the other one was pretty bloody. Ambience so-so, service tries to make everything right. But I still wouldn't go here again. In the entrance area you first walk past the service clearing station, dirty dishes and a small organic bucket for the guests' leftovers, including a small scent.

Without reading the reviews, we sat down at this restaurant. While waiting we realized that we had apparently ended up in the worst restaurant in Friedrichshafen. But that wasn't the case! Food was delicious, service was attentive and friendly. In the end we were pleasantly surprised.

€8 for a convenience apple strudel is simply amazing. Service was also very careless and unkempt. Card payment only from €30. Even ketchup costs extra.

Crispy schnitzel from the daily special frozen goods, unfortunately fries not crispy. The fish and chips were also very greasy. We wanted to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the harbor with a cappuccino and a small snack, but then it became uncomfortable. The cutlery for our group was placed on the table completely dirty. Apparently other guests had eaten with this beforehand. Something like that shouldn't happen!!! When we asked for compensation for this very unpleasant event for us, we were called to the managing director, who had no understanding and said that we had ordered too little for compensation. It was really a very unpleasant situation and completely unprofessional. That's why I unfortunately can't recommend this restaurant!

Unfortunately, I was actually served a frozen pizza. However, the waitress was extremely friendly and the view of Lake Constance was simply fantastic. Despite this unappetizing pizza experience, I still give it a 4-star rating.

Expensive school canteen with a nice view. Schnitzel is definitely frozen goods, the spaetzle is so-so... grandma Maggi's cream sauce from the bag. Overall it doesn't taste like anything. The potato salad was completely forgotten. After reading the reviews about this one, I was fine with it :-). Prices definitely too expensive for quality!

Quite nice to look at from the outside, great location right on the lake. Unfortunately, food is not recommended. Rösti with leaf lettuce: 4 small, ready-made Rösti that were briefly thrown into the frying pan, lettuce was a disgrace, carelessly chopped iceberg lettuce with cucumber and half a cocktail tomato with a dressing that could have passed for water. For 17€ an absolute disgrace. Turkey steak with fries & extra gravy absolutely average, fries dry. Meat was okay. Definitely a disappointment for a whopping €26.50. Dessert, also expensive, surprise, but very tasty. Small portion of brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream €9. All in all: looks like something, but can't do anything & the price is really a rip-off for what you actually get.

We were only there to have coffee and cake. The coffee and cake tasted good, but the “Hot Brownie” was a mini piece that wasn't warm and you pay €8.90 for that, which is a disgrace. In total we paid around €25 for two cakes and a coffee, unfortunately the price-performance ratio isn't right at all. Otherwise the ambience and service is okay.

We didn't read the review until after we ate and were glad we did, as we probably wouldn't have stopped there based on the bad reviews. The service was super friendly. The Kusperschnitzel turned out to be a simple breaded schnitzel, which was rather average. The fries were crispy and ok, but everything came dry and without sauce, mayo cost extra. When we explained to the staff the difference between a normal and a crispy schnitzel, all we got was a shrug of the shoulders. The women's toilet was a disgrace and the joints on the outside table had not been cleaned for a long time. Here it is not enough to wipe it with a damp cloth, you also have to use a brush to get into the approx. 1cm wide joints. For us, the low point of our two week vacation.

The ambience and the location are really great. The food, on the other hand, was an absolute failure: the boiled potatoes were completely overcooked, and I wasn't sure about the fish (as confirmed by the waiter) whether it was fresh from Lake Constance or fresh from the freezer came. After the cycling marathon we were very hungry and saw that they had schnitzel here, so let's go, park our bikes and sit down. We wanted a breaded schnitzel with cream sauce instead of plain, it just costs €2 extra, okay then just one plain and one breaded. When the food came you could immediately see that the fries were simply 1:1 from McDonald's. Ridiculous. The portions were also very small. We were asked whether we would like mayonnaise or ketchup with the fries, to which we answered "yes". We then got these Heinz packs which later cost €1 per pack! Are you crazy? The only plus point here was the beer, this is Schussenrieder which I personally think is good. In the end we left the table hungry and still left €55 for two people. You have to know.

Unfortunately we didn't read the review. However, it would have been better. Unfortunately, service wasn't the best, long waiting times with few guests. In general, the schnitzel with fries was absolutely dry and the fries were soggy. Salt the pork fillet in mushroom cream. The portions were generally very small. Expensive prices! Wir waren gegen 19:00 mit der Familie hier. Aufgrund der schlechten Bewertungen waren wir erst geschockt, konnten diese jedoch gar nicht verstehen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen ging etwas lang, jedoch nicht sehr. Ich hatte ein Rumpsteak medium mit pommes. Die pommes waren gut gesalzen und auch das rumpsteak war gut. Rundum ein angenehmer Aufenthalt und gutes Essen.

The pizza simply tastes like ready-made dough. The view of the lake is nice, but I can also have it on the promenade with a McDonald's bag. Here they only make money from tourists, but no restaurant is run. Smoking is also allowed, which doesn't make it any more appetizing.

Please note that according to the website the restaurant only closes at 10 p.m. Then they came to collect straight away and that was at 9:10 p.m.!!!!!!!! The toilet is totally filthy. Just don't go in, be it women or men...

Outdoor spaces available up to the lake. Service didn't understand German well, but made a lot of effort. The food (turkey steak) was the best of all. The two of us were there for dinner one evening. The restaurant closed at 10 p.m. When we ate around 9 p.m., the empty glasses and bottles were already cleared away and we were told that it was the last chance to have a drink. At around 9:15 p.m. the waiter asked for the bill. So you can say that we were thrown out, and mind you, on a Saturday evening during the holiday season.

Déjeuner face au lac mais sous la pluie, le cadre n'est pas très avenant et la serveuse semble peu concernée. Nous avons choisi du le porc grillé frites et le poulet hawaïen croquettes pdt + 2 cafés et 2 bières, mais ce n'est vraiment pas bon et les cuissons laissent à désirer. Le tout pour 65€, passez votre chemin il y a certainement beaucoup mieux pas très loin.

Das Essen war eine Katastrophe ! Als die Teller kamen dachten wir , wir hätten 2 „Rester Teller“ bekommen. Alles auf einfach lieblos auf die Teller geschmissen … Wir bestellen Kartoffelgratin mit Salat. Alles völlig ungewürzt,und trocken, der Auflauf sah aus als lege er schon den ganzen Tag und wurde nur kurz aufgewärmt. So schmeckte es dann auch ! Der Kellner war zwar nicht unfreundlich aber er hatte merklich keine Lust auf seinen Job! Leider war an unserem Tisch noch ein Gullideckel und es hat furchtbar gestunken die ganze Zeit… Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder !

On August 3, 2024, we spontaneously visited Lake Constance on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. Our goal was to find an appealing restaurant, and so we chose the Stadtmauer restaurant. The beer garden with a direct view of the lake looked very inviting and promised a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant's menu is clear, but lacks coherence. A clear culinary focus would be desirable, because the pizzas on offer don't really seem to fit into the concept. Now to the actual experience: The service was friendly and attentive, but seemed overwhelmed at times. The drinks were served quickly, which is a positive thing. My wife ordered a salad with gyros while I opted for a turkey steak with fries and an additional salad. The wait for the food was acceptable, but the quality left a lot to be desired. The turkey steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned – a bright spot. But the rest was disappointing. The salads were unimaginative, tasteless and prepared without any attention to detail. The presentation of the steak was particularly striking: a garnish like from the 80s (lettuce leaf, cucumber, tomato) and a plate with a crack - something like that should not be served to a guest. Here the chef clearly lacks creativity and ingenuity. Or he just doesn't feel like it. The gyro on my wife's salad wasn't real gyro. The meat was sliced ​​far too thick, dry and fried too dark. It seemed carelessly placed next to the equally careless salad. Likewise the "Tzaziki" which wasn't really one. A mixed together and tasteless sauce with a lot of chopped pickles that don't belong in a tzatziki. No salt, no pepper, not to mention garlic. The salads consisted mainly of the cheapest lettuces and a few chopped pieces of cucumber. A small blob of red cabbage salad and the aforementioned cucumber and tomato garnish completed the unappealing picture. Given the price of over 20 euros for the salad and 7.50 euros for the side salad, one could have expected much more. The description of the dishes in the menu raised expectations that the actual food served was far from meeting. Despite the well-done steak, the overall impression remains disappointing. With over 25 years of experience as a chef, including many years as head chef, I can say: a chef who delivers such loveless quality would not be employed by me for long. Our complaint was accepted by the service staff, but nothing more than an apology was forthcoming. It seems as if the operator has little interest in making improvements. With a rating of 2.3 points, you should give it some serious thought. Unfortunately, quantity takes precedence over quality here, which is very unfortunate. It feels like it's all about making money quickly. It's a shame about the potential this restaurant would have given its location. We ate here for the first and last time. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. The one star is for the steak. Unfortunately, the experience of eating there was very disappointing.

The service was so unmotivated, not a good day or at least remotely friendly. The beer was stale and came to the table without foam. The iced coffee (€7.90) was barely noticeable in the small glass and tasted that way too. The small apple spritzer (€3.80 for 0.2l) was so thin that no color could be seen. I wanted to make my displeasure known when paying and not give a tip, but the waitress did that herself and rounded it up. That again amused me that I left it at that. Result: It's best to avoid the restaurant and prefer the places in front of it. Oh yes, card payments only from 30 euros.

The very last…! 45 € for two frozen meals isn't worth it... Fish & Chips were simply not Fish & Chips - cheap “fish fingers” with cold and unsalted fries… Pizza, frozen pizza from the Netto… Non-carbonated drinks, after complaining, the second drink was also non-carbonated, yeah 😃 Personnel - Difficult in times of demographic change, but you should at least employ German or English speaking employees...

One person, looking like the owner, assured us that it was freshly made in the kitchen. We paid for our drinks and told the waitress that we were sorry and that it wasn’t her fault, but even the service staff was socially incapable of showing any reaction of regret or a sign of hospitality. FUN FACT: A couple shortly arriving after the incident happened, sat down next to us and ordered two pizzas. We tracked time from taking the order to serving it and it was exactly nine minutes. Again, do not go there, save your money and go next door or somewhere else.

I actually always look for Google reviews when it comes to restaurants, but not this time and I immediately regretted it. The menu included a turkey steak with fries for €23.50. I ordered the dish with salad instead of fries, also for €23.50. A delicious and well-fried turkey steak arrived with a piece of old herb butter, a lot of iceberg lettuce, garnished with a slice of cucumber and half a cherry tomato. The salad dressing was so thin that it didn't help the salad and at first it seemed like the salad didn't even have any dressing. I then ordered more dressing. When I had the last bite in my mouth and was still chewing, the service person came, asked if I was ready and took the plate away from me 😂! Service was friendly, but seemed very stressed. Women's toilets unclean.

The restaurant horror has a name. Absolute waste of money and time. We had salad with crispy fish and salad with turkey gyros for around €20 each. No choice in dressing. You just put vinegar and oil on the table. There is no such thing as French dressing. The crispy fish, which was dripping with fat and completely dry inside, had no sauce or anything like a dip/herb quark. I later ordered and paid for it separately. Turkey gyros? Absolutely ridiculous! Tasteless and bone dry. We've never had something so cheaply prepared on our plate before. The staff was friendly, but far too young and clueless. I don't even want to think about the hourly wage paid...🤨 It's a shame that there is no way to stop such business behavior. Better go eat a kebab somewhere. There's a good chance you'll get better quality and only pay half as much.

I wanted to order goulash soup, which according to the menu was also a tip from the restaurant. Unfortunately out. My wife orders pizza, the nice waitress comes over and tells us that unfortunately pizza is also out. My wife and I then shared my currywurst. The children had spaetzle with sauce. I'm not the best cook myself, but I would actually make spaetzle better. Unfortunately I only read the other reviews after waiting a long time for the food, otherwise I would have avoided it. The service was nice.

Food far too expensive for supermarket noodles, scandalous, ripping off poor students

Absolutely disappointing - not recommended! We ate in this restaurant today to end our vacation nicely. If only we had read the reviews beforehand! My pizza was greasy and my companion's overpriced salad was just a bad joke. The turkey was dry and completely oversalted, and the salad came without any dressing. Recently, both of us have been feeling sick after eating and we constantly have to go to the quiet place. That simply can't be true! The service also left something to be desired: after just 3 minutes it was no longer possible to change our order. The only good thing was the view of Lake Constance. Conclusion: We can only advise against eating here. A real disappointment!

Nice atmosphere right on the lake. That's the only positive thing! Unfortunately, we didn't pay attention to the recessions beforehand! Service was okay. Drinks came quickly. Eating a disaster! Salad city wall: Two dry slices of bread, meat oversalted and dry, salad without taste. The pizza was very greasy. When the service staff asked me how the food tasted and my criticism of it, he only gave me a tired smile! A short time after eating, my friend and I felt sick and our stomachs rumbled, so we had to go to the quiet place several times.

Were on site on July 19, 2024. Very nice staff.. At the table next to us. 3 super princes from abroad. Without manners or other behavior... The boss and staff handled the situation very well. Of course, all 3 of the princes left a bad Google rating.

Simply not recommended. You're not even allowed to change your table. Craziness.

I will never come to this restaurant again. The manager really needs to learn how to talk to the customers. If you're not from Germany don’t even think to came here. I don't recommend it.

The location by the lake is great, the service was very friendly and attentive. The food was a disaster. The spaghetti Bolognese was completely overcooked and tasted like a cheap finished product. At 15 euros, it's outrageously expensive. Pork fillet with mushroom cream sauce wasn't much better either. Soft mushrooms in a salty sauce that tastes like a ready-made bag for an impressive 26 euros. You feel ripped off.

Nice location right on the water, unfortunately I can't say anything more positive. My food was average at best, the service was not convincing.

First of all, I would like to say that I have never experienced such unfriendly service in my entire life. The two of us are sitting at a table right by the lake. Instead of asking what we want to drink and eat, we are told that we are only sitting for 4 or 6 people and asked us to leave. Apparently two people's money isn't worth anything. I can't say anything about the food because it didn't get to that point. I think it's very sad. Maybe the management should change their mind and accept every paying guest no matter where they sit
