Al Porto in Friedrichshafen

Good location with a beautiful view. We ordered Italian chocolate with cake. The cocoa was lukewarm and tasted like cheap instant powder. It was topped with a careless dollop of whipped cream. The cake was frozen, but the prices were exorbitant. They expect that tourists will come here, and they'll only come once. What a shame! It used to be different.

The view is nice but then it ends again. If you don't have the whole day and have a lot of patience, it's better not to go there... luckily this shop is closing soon and we can only hope something clever comes along.

I've been going to Al Porto for over 30 years and have always received excellent service. Therefore, my full respect to the entire team and its owner who know how to run this large café so well and will hopefully continue to do so for a very long time!

Amazingly good food including a lot of choice on the menu. The service was also very courteous and quick.

Caipirinha ordered, it wasn't drinkable, there was no sugar in the cocktail, the waitress asked about it and only said, oh that's right... then nothing happened for 30 minutes... When I tried again to get the waitress to the table, they immediately said... other guests would be served in the next 20 minutes. My wife noticed my displeasure and ran after the waitress to the counter, where she apologized that there was no brown sugar...? Service looks a little different to me...

Ich bin seid über 15 Jahren immer mal wieder im El Porto gewesen... ob ich nochmal etwas trinken gehe ist fraglich! Mit Abstand war es heute eine Katastrophe... der Cocktail ungenießbar, es fehlte der Zucker... als wir die blonde Bedienung darauf ansprachen, sagte sie, stimmt... nahm das Glas und ging zu anderen Tischen... nach 25 Minuten winkte ich der Bedienung, die Reaktion: ja komme gleich... Leider nicht zu uns.. Ich wurde komplett ignoriert... sie ging lieber zu anderen Tischen... meine Laune und der komplette Abend hat sich sehr zum negativen gewandelt... meine Frau ist dann zur Bedienung gegangen und hatte sich über ihr Verhalten beschwert... Antwort tut mir leid, wir haben keinen Zucker... nach 45 Minuten warten??? Gerne würde ich mit der Chefin persönlich sprechen... Sie hatte uns im Juni bedient, das war toll und Fachkompetenz in Person... es wäre schade wenn das El Porto so wie heute weiter macht???!!!

The service is the worst I have ever seen in my life. Incredibly rude and arrogant, unwilling to serve customers. Terrible!

Wi-Fi was supposedly broken when I asked for the password (cell phone showed 4 bars), waiter wasn't exactly friendly, toilet seat was missing - everything seemed as if its best days were behind it.

The men's toilet is very dirty. The toilet seat has been removed. Not the Al Porto it used to be!!!!

We should have read the reviews before ordering our food. To enjoy the view of Lake Constance and have a drink, Al Porto is good. However, rather unsuitable for eating. You should stay away from the bowl unless you want a salad with a surprise. Pointing out that the bowl wasn't what was on the menu, the waiter simply replied, "But I gave it a bonus and can't help it." No discount and no drink that's on the house. The toilets are dirty and the hand dryer is broken. The receipts fall to the floor of the cupboard and beyond. Inside it looks untidy and dirty. I think that could be better. Unfortunately we weren't full. Thank you

Wir waren zum Mittagessen hier, da die Speisekarte sich super angehört hat.. Die Nudeln schmecken wie beim Schnellimbiss - als wären sie erwärmt worden und dazu waren die Nudeln nicht al dente, sondern eher hart. In der Bowl haben zwei Zutaten gefehlt. Zudem kann es auch länger dauern bis man bedient wird, da es oft „komme gleich“ heißt.

Very nice atmosphere, unfortunately bad food. Maybe good as a café, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a cola that didn't taste like anything. The burger, Burger fromaggi, consisted of food from a discount store. The patty was frozen and didn't taste like anything at all. The bun was extremely toasted and dry. Not a real salad, but arugula. The sauce was most likely a salad dressing and didn't add anything to the flavor. The cheese tasted like plastic. All in one was really bad and the price performance wasn't good at all. Really cheeky for just under €17. The nachos that came with it were also from the discount store and the sauce and salad dressing on the burger. The service was okay and relatively quick. The waitress wasn't enthusiastic about her job at all, but there's nothing to complain about here. For the price I paid, it was actually just a rip off for me and I felt really disgusting afterwards. It's a shame, the atmosphere was very nice. Not again.

We had two different bowls, which not only tasted completely irrelevant, but also, for example, the dried tomatoes were left whole and the fresh tomatoes obviously came from the fridge. An essential component of a bowl was completely missing and was only served (cold) upon request: current or couscous. The service was nice and attentive and the latte macchiato was quite decent.

We got there at 9:50 p.m. and looked for a place. There were two waiters talking at the table next door and they finally came to us at 10:05 p.m. and asked what we would like. We wanted a Sprite and an iced chocolate. The waitress then said there was no more ice cream because they were closing. According to the internet, the restaurant is open until 11 p.m. So what a shame on a Saturday evening mind you. And that too where there are a lot of tourists walking around!!!!!!!!! We got up and left. Never again!!!!!!!!

We always enjoyed going to the Italian restaurant here. Unfortunately, the Balkan music was only turned on every now and then, so we didn't notice the change in ownership at first. The waiter only had one red wine on offer, which he didn't know what it was called or what it was like. He also couldn't do anything with the term "open". The mojito my husband ordered had barely any rum and uncrushed lime. It took two requests directly at the bar and a long wait to get a mojito with a normal amount of rum. The waiter tried my husband's drinking straw to see if there really wasn't enough rum in it. We are very disappointed. It's a shame, given the great location.

I haven't been to Al Porto for a very long time because it took forever for the drink/food to arrive and that's exactly how long it took for it to finally arrive! I would be pleasantly surprised - the order would be taken and delivered quickly 👍👍🍹 ​​Hopefully it stays that way 🙃

Sitting outside, having a drink, enjoying the lake - everything is fine if you are not sensitive to the way the staff serve/treat the guests, namely very unfriendly, arrogant, uninspired. Why do this activity when they obviously hate it so much?

Beautiful location, but mediocre food and service. The pasta sauce comes from a jar and the Kaiserschmarren clearly from the freezer. Very sorry!

We asked if the table outside was still free, the waiter said yes. We waited a little longer for the waiter to order, but didn't think anything of it as it was busy. Waiter comes, “have you ordered yet?” - to the answer, no, the only answer was "we are now closed" Doesn't work at all...

I think the outside of the shop is nice when you walk through it. I will never eat there!! You are not recognized as a guest, and the menu you get is filthy from top to bottom. After 30 minutes you are asked what you would like to drink and whether you would like to eat something and after 40 minutes our order came. My burger Formaggi for a whopping €16.90 had a value of around €3-4 and that's how it tasted, everything ready and out of the bottle, burger bun raw and untoasted, patty cold and ready-made pressed meat, tomatoes tasteless and carelessly thrown on the plate. There were also ready-made chips from the bag and a "according to the menu: homemade cocktail party" which was ultimately a salsa dip from a glass that you can buy with nachos. I don't even want to report on my girlfriend's food... rip-off from top to bottom!

The waitress didn't really take you seriously and the burger wasn't good, the bun was very soft and everything was a ready-made product.

You might think there is no service here at all. Left the store after about 25 minutes and still no one came.

I gave the café a chance again in the hope that things would have improved a bit but this time too I was forced to approach a waiter after 20 minutes and after another 20 minutes of waiting for the drinks it turned into a different café :)

Der Höhepunkt der Abzocke ist im Al Porto erreicht! Für einen Eiscafe bestehend aus einem kleinen Glas Kaffee, mit einer kleinen Kugel billigen Industrie Vanilleeis und etwas Sprühsahne aus der Dose 8,50 € zu verlangen , ist eine absolute Unverschämtheit! Vielleicht kann man so noch Touristen abzocken, aber Einheimische werden bestimmt das Lokal meiden!

It used to be much better. Iced coffee was like pre-made coffee or it was a ready-made packet. Ice cream was OK. The young tattooed waitress was very nice and accommodating. Next time we'll look for another iced coffee by the lake Update June 20, 2024 Nothing has changed, only the prices have increased. 2 iced coffees, small Water, 2 scoops of ice cream 26€ I'm happy to pay premium, but that's what I expect. Clean cutlery and plates are just one point. We won't be coming back. OK, no one will notice, but thank God there are other lakes nearby that don't have the overcrowded charm of the promenade

Unfortunately the service took too long, you were only served when requested and there was a long wait. The best thing is that you can then listen to a bad comment from the waiter. If you can avoid the store, then you should definitely do so!

Wir haben es nicht geschafft in 45 min eine Bestellung aufzugeben. Dreimal die Bedienung gerufen und jedes Mal die Antwort bekommen ja gleich. Der Kellner rennt Planlos mit einem Essen von Tisch zu Tisch und frägt wo die Pasta fehlt. Das nächste mal kommt er mit einem vollen Tablett mit Getränke und muss wieder jeden Tisch fragen ob irgendwas auf dem Tablett am Tisch fehlt. Als er uns fragte sagte ich nix fehlt aber wir würden jetzt doch nach 45 min endlich gerne was bestellen und wir es schon 3 mal bei seiner Kollegin versuchten. Dann bekam ich doch die Antwort wenn ich keine Zeit hätte soll ich doch in ein anderes Restaurant gehen. Das haben wir dann gemacht. Meine Frau war noch kurz auf Toilette . Das es sowas ekelhaftes überhaupt in einer Gastronomie geben kann??? Also dieser Laden verdient an uns nicht einen Cent mehr. Absolut nicht zu Empfehlen

We went to al Porto for lunch today. The last time we were there was several years ago. We were very disappointed today. The map was very manageable. No more pizza. Only a handful of pasta dishes. The pasta was very simple and tasted of inexpensive ingredients. I cook better myself at home. Tarte flambée was edible, but nothing special. Price-performance was not at all appropriate. Some areas need repairs. Service was very nice. It's okay to have a drink, but it's no longer a restaurant for us.

Haben eine Kaffee bestellt nach 15min nachgefragt wo der Kaffee bleibt, die Antwort des Arabischen Kellers war wir sollen normal mit ihm reden und hat gemeint wenn es nicht passt sollen wir gehen. Dann hat er noch in der Bar mit uns 10min lang hin und her diskutiert und gemeint das wir keinen Respekt habe und die Bar voll sei obwohl 50% des Lokals leer war. Letzten Sommer haben wir es auch schon mal da probiert nach 30min kamen unsere Getränke immer noch nicht da sind wir aufgestanden und gegangen Also pure Katastrophe, Lage gut Bedienung Flop….

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this place. When we arrived, the neighboring table was untidy and remained so, despite the presence of new guests. The service took a long time to arrive. After we were finally able to order, the waiter said he would take the others' orders straight away - but after another long wait, they left the table unserved. Our order, two hot chocolates, were disappointingly anything but hot. Overall, the store left us with a very unsatisfactory impression and we advise against ordering here.

Worst service I've ever seen! The two of us wanted to find a warm spot for a hot chocolate with cream. When we walked past there, we went in and first asked where we could sit down. We were offered free choice of seats. After we sat down, our order wasn't taken for about 20 minutes. During this time, eye contact was often made with us. However, no one was interested in us. Our next table was still full of dishes from the guests in front of it. When an older couple sat down, they were ignored for at least 10 minutes. The bald man then took our order and completely ignored the neighboring table. At some point a lady came and cleared the table without taking the order. When we got our drinks and there was still no progress at the next table, the couple made up their minds. Even now, if you look for a long time at the now "empty" neighboring table, you'll still notice a lot of crumbs. The hot chocolate was okay, but they skimped on the cream. After 3 spoonfuls it was already used up. In total, one costs €4.80. One without cream costs €4.50. In my opinion too expensive for what you get. Overall the bill was 9.30. The staff seems confused and sometimes rude. Surprisingly, when we asked for the bill, someone was very quick. We didn't give a tip when paying. Accordingly, the reaction was a dry and listless “Ciao”. I don't recommend the store to anyone. A few meters away there are plenty of better restaurants/coffee shops that are better, cleaner, friendlier and simply much more worthwhile. PS.: The next ones next to us are already waiting for their order...

Of course the atmosphere on Lake Constance is something special. But the service leaves a lot to be desired... If I were the manager, I would take care of the staff - it's absolutely unacceptable that there are empty glasses on the table and no one asks if you're getting anything new... plus the staff has blinders on around... When do you have to wave and shout so that you can be recognized...

Parking is available within walking distance for a fee in the parking garage. Payment possible by card or cash. Staff friendly and attentive. Indoor and outdoor seating. Modernly furnished. Food and drinks are brought quickly.

The time from ordering to serving (1 beer and 1 cappuccino) took too long. Beer glass not filled to the calibration mark. Price of EURO 5.10 for a piece of wheat is too high. Table wasn't cleaned. Service inattentive.

Free lake view on the promenade. You can sit down and remain undisturbed. That means that after about 15 minutes you still can't see the service. A glimmer of hope, the next table wants numbers and makes this known. You wait, we wait, nothing happens. The next table gets up and pays inside, we go and spend our money somewhere else.

Wer sich aufwärmen oder ausruhen möchte ohne etwas zu bestellen ist hier richtig. Der Serviceleiter spielt am Handy, die Bedienungen laufen planlos umher, der Gast kann in Ruhe verschnaufen ohne angesprochen zu werden. Auch nach 30 Minuten keine Ansprache, keine Karte, keine Bestellung… Lage Top, Service Flop

The Al Porto is located directly on the lake promenade. There's actually always a lot going on. We went here for coffee on a Sunday. The store was very full and the limited conditions were visibly overwhelming. Our table wasn't wiped down and everything took a really long time. Coffee and cake were okay, nothing special, there is better coffee in FN. The price is relatively high, probably due to the location. It's fine to sit outside in the summer, but we won't be coming back in the winter.

Absolutely fantastic. We had the burger al porto and classic tarte flambée and can only recommend it. Fabulous taste, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice, modern and pleasant. The cocktails are not without their own and only taste better in the evening given the atmosphere. Absolutely recommended!!!!

There was nothing going on today, two waiters preferred to go to the lakeside to smoke rather than take our order. They just left us sitting there. When I was there three weeks ago. We had to wait 30 minutes to pay. I definitely won't try that again.

Waited 10 minutes. Then he was simply left sitting there in an unfriendly manner with the words “we have stopped admissions”. No information for how long and when you can order again. In between there was a condition twice at the table with food not ordered. Massive mold infestation in the men's toilet. Never again!!!

Very unfriendly staff. We were asked what we would like to order and we hadn't received a card yet. Annoyed, we were given ONE ticket for two people. After an hour we still didn't have our food. Unfortunately, by far the worst restaurant I've ever been to.

Nice bar for a glass of wine. The service is a bit inattentive. Ambience is quite OK. WiFi doesn't work - and the mobile network is very poor. But then you have some peace and quiet, which is good.

Unfortunately, the lady from the service was unfriendly. If I have to get the blanket myself even though I asked nicely and the terrace is empty, she should perhaps consider another job where she would like it more. The drinks and food, however, were good.

Tolle Lage am See. Personal freundlich aber überfordert. 2 Kellner für Terrasse und Innenrestaurant ist zu wenig. Es dauert sehr lange bis man bestellen kann und dann ewig bis man seine Bestellung bekommt. Leider auch sehr schmutzig. Hinter den Heizkörper Spinnen und Dreck seit Monaten. Tische nicht abgeräumt und schmierig. Schade. Sehr schöne Einrichtung. Es wäre viel Potential vorhanden.

Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Service, habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für den völlig überhitzten Capuccino. Wenn alle Aromen verbrannt sind, schmeckt man leider nichts mehr.

Mittagessen Freitag Nachmittag um 2 (bei Regen): Lokal gemütlich und gut besetzt, Service schnell und freundlich. Essen: Flammkuchen war o.k. - Kürbissuppe: sie war warm, aber nur knapp über ungeniessbar

Man wurde ewig nicht bedient. Getränke waren sehr gut. Beim Bedienen und Bezahlen hat der Kellner unnötig Stress gemacht und sich wie ein Alpha-Tier aufgespielt. Es ist mir immer noch nicht klar, was ihn so aufgeregt hat, aber sein Verhalten war unter aller Sau. Seine Kollegin musste ihn zurückhalten, weil er sich „draußen mit uns boxen wollte“. Was für ein Zirkus. Zur Krönung zog er seine Hose bis kurz vor dem Gebitalbereich runter, um seine Schambehaarung zu präsentieren. Was soll das? Man sollte den glatzköpfigen Proleten dringend entlassen. Ich enpfehle niemandem dort hinzugehen, wenn man bedenkt, dass er direkt danach Leute bedient hat, nachdem er seinen Intimbereich berührt hat.

Mein ganzes Leben lang wurde ich noch nie so diskriminiert und erniedrigt in dieser Weinbar !!! Einfach unfasbar!!! Nach 30 minütiger Wartezeit habe ich mir erlaubt nachzufragen wobei mir ein wütender Barmann mir ein Coupon auf den Tresen knallte und mich anschrie die Bestellung sei eben erst eingegangen und ob ich ein Problem habe? Meine Erwiderung war das mein Problem jetzt ist wie dieser Barmann mit mir sprechen würde?! Darauf hin wurde mir mitgeteilt ich bekomme jetzt Garnichts mehr ich solle gehen...eine weitere Angestellte saß bequem in ihrem Barsessel und lachte erfreut über diesen Verweis Traurig und bestürzt ging ich an unserem Jubiläum zurück zu meiner Frau, erzählte Ihr diese Umstände ...ALS DIESER BARMANN PLÖTZLICH NEBEN UNS STAND UND VOR ALLEN GÄSTEN LAUT RIEF = ER HABE MIR GESAGT WIR BEKOMMEN HIER NICHTS MEHR!! Wie gesagt im Leben habe ich mich nie so geschämt, alle Augen waren auf Uns gerichtet :-((( Unseren Hochzeitstag wollten wir nichtmehr weiter genießen und wir uns Ewig in Erinnerung bleiben Heute wollte ich mal den Geschäftsführer anrufen, eine Frau die abgehoben hat wollte mir Ihren Namen nicht verraten und hat einfach aufgelegt.....

Wir hatten Rührei zum Frühstück. Leider ohne Geschmack, mit Aufbackbrötchen die kalt und trocken waren und preislich leider teuer für die Qualität. Service war ok, abgesehen davon, dass 1/3 vom Tee auf dem Untersetzer war und Apfelsaft schmeckte mehr nach Wasser als nach Saft. Zum Frühstücken würde ich es nicht empfehlen.

This is a lovely spot to sit either inside or out. Unfortunately, it does take a while to get a drink and we did feel we were putting them out serving us. We have been there before and gave it a good review perhaps the rainy weather was to blame

Ein Café mit Blick auf den Bodensee :) Allerdings unsaubere Toiletten und das Personal war auch sehr unfreundlich und selbst bei Kaffee gab es lange Wartezeiten. Der Latte Macchiato hatte leider keinen Milchschlauch. Und auch der Moccachino war eher eine übersüßte Schokolade.

Salat mit Hühnchen war lecker, auch preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Gute Weinauswahl

Das Essen schmeckt hier sehr gut und ist für die Lage nicht teuer, aber leider sind die Kellner unfreundlich.

Sehr schönes schnuckliges Ambiente.... verstehe die Bewertungen nicht. Service war sehr freundlich. Essen können wir nicht bewerten. Alles ordentlich und die Toiletten waren sauber.

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder gern ins Al Porto. Tolle Lage, coole Drinks, bis gestern auch freundliches Personal! Wir wollten um 19.00 im im Garten einen Aperitif trinken und mussten beinahe 40 Minuten warten, bis die Getränke auf den Tisch kamen, dadurch kamen wir zu spät zum reservierten Restaurant, 15 Gehminuten entfernt! Der überforderte Kellner motzte uns dabei auch noch an und unterstellte uns Ungeduld… Trotzdem kehrten wir gegen 22 Uhr am Samstagabend ins Al Porto zurück - Chance geben! Obwohl Lokal und Garten halb leer waren, verweigerte ein anderer „Kellner“ uns die Bedienung und zog es vor, am Seeufer zu rauchen. Erst nach unserer Intervention an der Bar bemühte sich der zweite Kellner an unseren Tisch und nahm die Bestellung für ein Glas Wein und ein Weizenbier widerwillig auf. Ab 22.15 verzogen sich beide Kellner an das Seeufer zum Rauchen und schickten laufend neue Gäste weg mit der Begründung, das Lokal sei schon geschlossen, obwohl offiziell bis Mitternacht geöffnet. Damit war dann auch unser Besuch vorzeitig beendet! So verarscht hat uns in ganz Deutschland noch nie jemand. Das Al Porto werden wir nie mehr betreten!

Haben nur was getrunken da das Eis leider leer war, Service war sehr bemüht trotz sehr hoher Auslastung. Bier war leider warm.

Wir haben 20 Minuten auf einen Kaffee und einen Grünen Tee gewartet, der dann kalt auf den Tisch kam. Preise sind am hohen Ende, die Location ist super, mit Blick aufs Wasser.

Kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Dauerte ein wenig, bis wir bedient wurden, aber, alles im Rahmen. Essen war gut, Preis/Leistung stimmt. Ein Mittagstisch wird von Montag bis Freitag angeboten.

Nachdem die Bedienung ein Aperol über eine Freundin von mir ungewollt geleert hat, hat er zwar gleich einen neuen gebracht, die Tische und den Stuhl hat er jedoch nicht mehr gereinigt. Am Ende wurde der Aperol auch noch berechnet, was aus meiner Sicht (als Barkeeper) eine echte Unverschämtheit ist. Ambiente und Getränke okay.

Die Salate sind spektakulär lecker, groß, vielfältig und ansehnlich. Service in Ordnung, ganz netter Blick auf die Promenade und etwas See bzw. Ufer.

Great view over the Lake Constance. Doesn't feel so crowded like some other restaurants here. Good salad with chicken. Great pinsa and pasta. Big portions. Prizes are very decent for the first row to the Lake. Staff is friendly and fast.

Im Cocktail war zu viel Eis. Die heiße Schoki war auch nicht so lecker.

Das Personal war freundlich und wir wurden zügig bedient.

Would it not be for the location at the boardwalk waterfront, nobody would go in there anymore. Service is lame, not really friendly and we had to ask them several times to please clean the mess up from the table, until one of us used an disinfectant towel to clean it ourselves. The menu is wrapped in plastic pouches. Once I opened it I went to wash my hands as it was full of coffee, sugar and milk stains (at least I hoped it was that) and was just sticky. The drinks arrived, we finished them and went inside to pay by card..... Do we come back? not necessarily, there are nicer locations at the beach front tbh. A lot has changed since 2018... :-(

Wir sind auf Grundlage der Bewertungen in das Lokal gegangen. Das Ambiente war Recht schön, aber sehr laut. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt aber bei den Spagetti wurde das "Al Dente" sehr ernst genommen. Und auch der Kellner wirkte etwas abwesend.

Slow service. Never felt welcome.

Das Ambiente ist ganz schön. Der Service war auch in Ordnung. Essen würde ich dort auf keinen fall mehr. Ich habe nur pasta mit Tomatensauce bestellt. Das wurde definitiv einfach in der Mikrowelle warm gemacht denn am Rand war es teilweise super kalt, hart und trocken und auch die soße war dort bröckelig. Wie essen halt aussieht, wenn man es aus dem Kühlschrank nimmt. Weil die Portion generell sehr klein war und ich nur die Mitte essen wollte, hätte ich das geld viel lieber für etwas anderes ausgegeben.

Absolut geniales Ambiente, wie immer super Service! Bier dürfte gerne kühler sein :-)

Leider war der Service im Restaurant eine absolute Enttäuschung. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir von niemandem begrüßt oder in Empfang genommen. Im Gegenteil, es wirkte fast so, als wären wir störend und unerwünscht. Auch die Bedienung war äußerst unfreundlich und unhöflich. Wir wurden kaum beachtet und mussten lange Zeit darauf warten zu bestellen. Zusammenfassend war die Erfahrung im Restaurant ein Fiasko und wir können es absolut nicht empfehlen. Der mangelhafte Service und die unfreundliche Bedienung haben diesen Abend zu einem sehr unangenehmen Erlebnis gemacht. Würde am liebsten mit 0 Sternen bewerten. Schade, denn das Ambiente und die Lage hätten potential gehabt, aber hier fehlt es eindeutig an Professionalität und Kundenzufriedenheit.

Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant fand ich zunächst angenehm, es gab lederbezogene Stühle, Séparées und ein paar schöne Kerzenleuchter. Jedoch: von den perforierten Deckenplatten hingen überall Staubfetzen (sah aus wie verklumpte Spinnweben mit sehr viel Staub). Das Essen erreichte gerade eben Mensa-Qualität: an meinen Spaghetti Parmagiana war kein Tropfen Olivenöl. Sie waren offenbar frisch aus dem Kochwasser und in einem billigen, ein klein wenig nach Knoblauch schmeckendem Öl geschwenkt. Sie waren so gut wie geschmacklos, und ich würzte kräftig mit Salz und Pfeffer (aus stillosen Supermarkt-Streuern mit Mahlwerk) nach. Die Spaghetti waren lieblos auf ein paar einzelne Rucolablätter geklatscht, und aussendrum lagen 4 Fetzen Parmaschinken. Die dafür aufgerufenen 13,50€ sind eine absolute Frechheit und Beleidigung jedes Gastes. Auf den Toiletten lagen in beiden Kabinen Toilettenpapier-Fetzen auf dem Boden wie auf einer billigen Autobahnraststätte. Am Nachbartisch hatte man das Gericht für einen Gast vergessen. Weil das die schlechteste Erfahrung war, die ich als über 40-jährige Frau jemals in einem Restaurant gemacht habe, gab ich mit Absicht kein Trinkgeld. Nun, das hat sich der Kellner selbst genommen (ok, es waren nur 10 Cent, aber trotzdem). Darauf angesprochen, hat er sich nicht etwa entschuldigt, sondern diskutierte minutenlang mit mir und beharrte, dass 2,60€ das richtige Rückgeld von 17,30€ auf 20 € seien. Es war absolut unverschämt.

Am Handtrockner entsteht eine neue Spezies. Die Toilettentüre muss man mit der Türe zuhalten weil der Drehriegel defekt ist. Leider ist mir das Essen vergangen. Cocktails waren gut. Personal freundlich aber uninterresiert
