Uns hat das Weinhaus selbst, wie unser Appartement für die Übernachtung und vor allem das tolle Team verzaubert. Wenn es Menschen schaffen, dass man sich rund um wohl fühlt, dann ist's gelungen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei und mit euch!

Sehr guter Service, phantastisches Steak, passend gebraten, schmackhafte Rosmarin Kartoffeln und leckerer Wein. Und die Gerichte, die an Nachbartischen serviert wurden überzeugten zumindest optisch.

Es war einfach nur ein schöner Abend, bei sehr gutem Essen. Sehr nettes Personal, was dafür gesorgt hat, dass der Abend sehr kurzweilig war. Ich kann das Weinhaus Schultes nur allen empfehlen, die in Limburg an der Lahn zu Gast sind.

Ein wunderschöner Wochenendtrip in Limburg, der mit einem wunderschönen und super leckeren Abendessen im Weinhaus Schultes endete. Das Zimmer hatten wir ebenfalls im historischen Weinhaus Schultes gebucht... Das wunderschön restaurierte Gebäude mit herrlichen antiken Weinkeller (der wurde uns von herzlichen Inhaber persönlich gezeigt und in dem auch wohl Events stattfinden) wird nur noch durch das leckere Essen getoppt... Ein Mix aus regionaler und deutscher Küche, die wunderbar umgesetzt wurde... Serviert vom sympathischen Personal. Ein toller Abend dort, der weit aus mehr für uns bereit hielt als ein fantastisches Abendessen... Wir sind sicher bald wieder dort.

Wir haben das Restaurant Haus Schultes am Wochenende besucht. Beim Eintreten des Restaurants wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und man konnte spüren das das Personal seinen Job mit Herzblut ausübt. Das Restaurant ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und dies macht den Aufenthalt dort sehr angenehm und man fühlt sich dort ein wenig wie " Zu Hause ". Das Essen war wirklich sehr köstlich . Der Himbeergeist zum Abschluss rundete den wunderschönen Abend noch einmal ganz ab...Wir werden dieses tolle Lokal mit Sicherheit wieder besuchen.

We were there with 10 people for dinner and wine tasting. It was highly recommended. The food was simply brilliant, the boss personally led the wine tasting and responded to any special requests. Price-performance was top. Thank you for this great evening!!!

In the middle of the old town Locally cozy has a brewery character 👍 the service is attentive and very friendly. The food was good and plentiful, but if you had a starter then the main course came much too quickly. Good selection of wines 🍷 Good price-performance ratio

Yesterday we had dinner with 4 people. Beautiful, quaint restaurant. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio wasn't right for us. The Lim burgers we ordered were served almost cold. The burger buns were rock hard to defeat the subsequently ordered steak knives. The veal schnitzel was probably under the Wörmebrücke for too long, because it came to the table dry and only lukewarm. Fluffy breading was a foreign word here. What no guest needs is a kitchen argument at the end, so loud and violent that even the nice Englishman... Ober avoided the kitchen.😅 Conclusion: our travel time of 2 hours was not worth it for this restaurant visit.

A warm welcome and the wait for the room was sweetened with a delicious wine spritzer. Super nice staff and the location of the hotel is great. The food was delicious and the wine was simply great. The old town car park is just a stone's throw away and is also suitable for SUVs - at least for a BMW X4. 😉

Friendly service, beautiful apartment. The food was tasty and very beautifully presented. And all of this in the middle of the medieval center of Limburg an der Lahn.

There were four of us at Weinhaus Schultes. The friendly owner himself came to our table and recommended something that wasn't on the menu. It was simply delicious, nicely prepared and we all enjoyed it. The wines were very tasty and had the perfect drinking temperature. The humorous waiter served us in a friendly and attentive manner. If we came to Limburg again, we would eat there again.

In a word, top, friendly, clean, rooms very tastefully decorated, the restaurant cozy and the food upscale and very good, you just feel comfortable

Not recommended for groups. A nice trip to Limburg and a nice evening meal at Weinhaus Schultes, that was the plan on April 27th, 2024. The day in Limburg was really nice, a visit to the old town is highly recommended. Stopping at Weinhaus Schultes with a tour group is not recommended. The food was pre-ordered in advance, the seats were reserved, the wine house opens at 6 p.m., we were there on time and were looking forward to dinner. After we were seated and the drinks were taken, the food was served very quickly, it was probably already prepared. I had ordered a Lim burger, which I thought sounded quite interesting. On the menu it reads as follows: “Lim Burger” freshly grilled slices of roast beef between two halves of water with green sauce, tomatoes, fried onions, lettuce and cucumbers, served with steakhouse fries for €18.90. The dish must have been prepared for a long time and then kept warm. I've never eaten such dry roast beef, such dry steakhouse fries, and such a dry bun in my life. When asked, it was explained that the roll, a water pastry, was a Limburg specialty. I can't imagine the baker baking it so dry. Of course, it can be difficult when you have to feed 30 people at the same time. It certainly makes sense to prepare some things then. But keeping food warm until it's just "dry" is just not right. As a drink I had chosen a Blanc de Noir, which unfortunately was no longer in stock. "Unfortunately it's out of stock," said the service, but "the wine will be back in an hour." The wine was actually there again and was served. I wasn't impressed with the taste of the wine, so I asked if I could see the bottle. "No problem," said the waiter and showed me a still-closed bottle of one of Weinhaus Schulte's own brands, on the label of which there was a reference to the winery from which the wine came from could not be found. When asked, the service employee could not answer the question about the winery. So what did I drink? First the wine wasn't there, then it was there again, I'm served a glass, but the bottle is still closed, strange.

Always happy to go there. Very good German food. Above all, varied and always something new. The wines are also highly recommended. Keep it up.

Eine Sensation… Wir waren mit der Familie mit insgesamt 15 Leuten dort… Alle vor- und Hauptspeisen waren wirklich sehr gut… der Service war auch toll und sehr engagiert… Wirklich empfehlenswert 🤩

We were here with 7 people. Almost all of us chose different dishes and tasted here and there what the other had. All dishes were excellent without exception. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. You're happy to pay the prices, which are understandable given this quality. A very clear recommendation 👍👍👍

Absolute recommendation!! We were there on a Friday evening and the restaurant was full. Despite the busy restaurant, the atmosphere as well as the service was super relaxed and courteous. The wine selection is great and there is something for everyone on the menu.

The three of us were there yesterday, we've never eaten Riesling soup so badly before 😏 it was terribly bad, somehow pureed together, then the guinea fowl breast was totally messed up and the pulp was tough and the optics were a catastrophe Lim burger as well I don't understand the positive reviews that came especially from the Rheingau Never recommend again. One star is still too much

The Weinhaus Schultes is located in the middle of the beautiful old town of Limburg. There are enough parking spaces around. We had booked for several people so we basically had to pre-select our food. The ambience is really nice. The service was less nice for us, not very attentive and particularly disappointing when it came to wine advice. Answering the question about a really sweet wine with a yes and then bringing a borderline semi-dry wine somehow doesn't fit. The salad as a starter was great in terms of quality and quantity, and the dressing was great. Unfortunately, the main course became even more disappointing. The salmon was basically dried out. Was it prepared too long in advance or was it just left in the pan for too long? The remaining dishes were all great in terms of quantity, but in terms of preparation they were mediocre at best. We would have expected more given the price/performance ratio.

Great food. New creations with toasted bread which was very tasty. Attentive and totally friendly staff. You just feel comfortable and welcome.

Perfekt gelegen in einem historischen Haus. Essen war super. Allerdings wäre etwas weniger mehr. Für mich waren es zu viele sehr intensive Geschmacksrichtungen. Aber toll gemacht. Sehr hochwertig. Ich bin ein wenig Gewürzt Esser. Vielleicht lag es daran. Werde das nächste mal was anderes Probieren und schauen wie das schmeckt. Schicke gerne ein Update.

Obwohl wir unsere Speisen vorbestellt hatten, mussten wir über eine Stunde auf unser Essen. Kein Gruß aus der Küche, keine Erklärung. Für mich ein No-Go. Essen geschmacklich aber top.

Hohes Niveau - sowohl aus der Küche, als auch beim Service! Wir kamen ohne Reservierung und erhielten dennoch einen schönen Tisch. Das Angebot ist reichhaltig, variantenreich und raffiniert. Wir haben den Abend durch und durch genossen.

Schönes ansprechendes Lokal. Das Wiener Schnitzel war leider in der Friteuse gebraten und die Bratkartoffel waren nur in Fett gewärmte Pellkartoffelscheiben. Von braten war da nichts zu erkennen. Die die Teller sehr kalt waren, waren auch die Gerichte schneller kalt als man sie essen konnte. Schade, dass das Essen nicht passt!

Wir sind gestern Abend mit 8 Personen im Weinhaus Schultes gewesen. Ein großes Lob von uns, welches wir auch direkt gestern Abend an den Inhaber weitergegeben haben. Der Service ist spitzenmäßig gewesen, sehr freundlich, gut gelaunt, sehr aufmerksam. Sowas haben wir in der Art und Weise selten erlebt. Und das obwohl alle Plätze besetzt ausgebucht gewesen sind. Das Essen.....ein Traum. Alles was von uns bestellt wurde, hat wunderbar geschmeckt, alles hat gepasst, selbst auf Unverträglichkeiten wurde eingegangen. Der Wein war ebenfalls super. Das war ein rundum gelungener Abend und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Macht weiter so

Wir waren schon öfters dort. Die Karte ist klein aber fein und es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Speisen sind frisch und von hoher Qualität. Wir haben schon vieles probiert und bisher hat alles super geschmeckt. Gestern hatte ich das Überraschungsmenü und war begeistert. Preis-Leistung war überragend! Die Weinkarte ist übrigens auch gut. Wir haben im Gewölbe - und Weinkeller des Weinhaus Schultes unsere Hochzeitsparty gefeiert und es war einfach rundum perfekt! Das Essen, die Getränke, die Atmosphäre, der Service (riesen großes Dankeschön!) - einfach alles war super. Unsere Gäste und wir hatten eine unvergessliche Party!

Sehr nettes gemütliches Restaurant in der Innenstadt von Limburg mit schönem Ambiente und gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Erfahrenes und nettes Personal im Service, das nicht nur die Weine zum Essen empfiehlt, sondern auch im Vorfeld probieren lässt. Habe ich noch nie erlebt und dafür schon mal den ersten Pluspunkt. Die Speisekarte bietet alles an, man hat die Qual der Wahl. Für Veganer könnte allerdings etwas mehr Auswahl geboten werden. Das Essen ist ein absoluter Genuss, schön angerichtet und in ausreichender Menge. Zudem kommt noch ein faires Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und das Restaurant natürlich weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren beruflich 4 Tage in Limburg, und waren jeden Abend dort, weil es einfach so fantastisch war, dass ein anderes Lokal gar nicht in Frage kam! Das Essen hervorragend, tolle Weine, netter Service und dazu ein Gastgeber aus Leidenschaft!

Hier wird nur das Restaurant bewertet. Die Weinkarte ist ausgezeichnet. Die Preise sind für diese Qualität absolut in Ordnung. Das Essen, Auswahl, Qualität, Präsentation auf dem Teller: sehr gut. Frische, saisonale z.T. regionale Zutaten. Ich würde gerne 4* vergeben, ABER: die Bedinung hat mir überhaupt nicht gefallen: wir wurden pampig empfangen: innerhalb von 6,5 Stunden hat man nicht geschafft eine Buchungsanfrage zu lesen/bestätigen, ans Telefon ist niemand dran gegangen, das führte zu pampigen Kommentaren was der Kunde das nächste Mal tun soll. Nach der Bestellung bzw. nach dem das Essen serviert wurde, wurden wir nicht einmal gefragt, ob's schmeckt und man vielleicht noch etwas benötigt, wir mussten uns bemerkbar machen. Das wäre in einem 0-8-15 Pizza-Lokal kein Thema, aber nicht in einem Lokal, das vorwiegend von Herrschaften 65+ besucht wird und eigentlich zu den besseren Lokalen in Limburg gehört. Meinen Besuchern aus den USA gegenüber war mir richtig peinlich wie schlecht man behandelt wird. Und dass es beim Hinausgehen noch einen Kommentar dazu gab, dass ich auf Anfrage gesagt habe, dass ich den Empfang unfreundlich fand, hat dem ganzen ein umgedrehtes Körnchen aufgesetzt. Typisch deutsch: statt sich zu entschuldigen, wird der Kunde noch dreist diskutiert. Wie peinlich. Ich schäme mich schon für die dreckige, heruntergekommene Stadt Limburg, aber noch dazu...

Really nice room, good shower, good location. Pillows were a bit thin and it was a bit pricey given that Limburg isn't that much of a tourist destination.

Wir waren zum Essen dort. Ich hatte Pulpo mit Rosmarin-Kartoffeln. Es war exzellent. Die Weine stehen den Speisen in nichts nach. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Trotz Vollbelegung immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein rundum gelungener Abend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein lauer Frühsommer-Abend, 3 von 4 Tischen außen sind frei. Wir wollen noch einen Aperol trinken und den Abend ausklingen lassen. NUR etwas trinken ist hier aber nicht möglich, wird deutlich unfreundlich mitgeteilt. Wir gehen ins „Tripoli“ gegenüber und werden sehr nett bedient. Die freien Tische gegenüber bleiben leer - man hat es wohl nicht nötig.

Mit Freunden kleinen Tisch reserviert. Wir haben gute Weine aus der Region probiert und Kleinigkeit gegessen. Alles rustikal und gut.

Unser Familienessen war ein Genuss für den Gaumen. Perfekte Organisation, freundliche Atmosphäre, schönes Ambiente und .... die Gerichte kamen heiss aus der Küche und waren alle sehr lecker. Preisleistungsverhältnis KLASSE ! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.

Wir haben das Restaurant im Laufe der letzten Jahre mehrfach, auch mit Freunden, besucht, die Speisen waren in der Regel gut, alle waren zufrieden, damals ein Garant für gutes Essen in gemütlicher Umgebung. Leider hat sich in 2023 die Qualität der Speisen sehr verschlechtert, zähe Schnitzel, versalzene Knödel, Salate mit übelstem Fertigdressing. Das Personal ist freundlich und entgegenkommend, die versalzenen Knödel beispielsweise gingen zurück und wurden durch neue versalzene Knödel ersetzt, wirklich kein Trost. In früheren Zeiten war die Küche zuverlässig gleichbleibend gut, in den vier Besuchen in 2023 hingegen wurde die Qualität der Speisen jedesmal schlechter. Wir werden das Lokal somit nicht mehr aufsuchen und können und werden es auch nicht mehr weiter empfehlen. Wirklich schade, möglicherweise hat es einen neuen Betreiber, der nichts von guter Küche versteht. Das Restaurant ist ein schöner Ort, der ein wirklich besseres Essen verdient hätte.

Ein sehr schön renoviertes kleines Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns wohl. Der Empfang war herzlich und das Abendessen im Restaurant super. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Super Abend Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Weinhaus Schultes. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich! Ein Restaurant, wo man noch was für sein Geld bekommt. Das Essen kam zügig und war hervorragend. Wir können nichts negatives sagen und waren super zufrieden. Es wird auf jeden Fall eine Wiederholung geben !!!!

Picked this place for lunch based on Trip Advisor. It was wonderful. Atmosphere, food the staff all outstanding. My wife has Celiac’s and the fed her well and safely. I had Pork Schnitzel with mushroom gravy that was fantastic. Our server was a delight and Alexander (I believe he is a manager) made us feel so welcome. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I would give it a plus on top of the 5 out 5 rating

There are few restaurant experiences that completely capture an afternoon as our lunch at Weinhaus Schultes did. It was not because of the gorgeous interior of the beautiful 200 year old building, or that they served wonderfully prepared entrées. It was the staff that stole the show. From the moment we arrived, very late and nearing the time when the kitchen closes, we felt like we were dining with family. The gentleman who took care of our table made us feel comfortable immediately, and was imminently patient with our three young nieces, as he guided them through the menu of printed and off-menu items. He conversed with us throughout the meal - not in an invasive way - and he introduced us to the rest of the staff, including our chef. When we finished our meal, the gentleman taking care of our table offered to show us the 600 year old wine cellar which was a highlight. Then, as we were standing up to depart, the chef returned with a small gift for one of the young girls - she told him in an earlier conversation that she wanted to be a chef when she grows up - the gift he presented was a small box with fresh Thyme, rosemary, sage, and mint. He told her that in order to start her career in cooking, she could get to know these key herbs. It was an amazing touch! The experience we had with the amazing staff at Weinhaus Schultes made our afternoon. On top of the beautiful experience, the food was simply amazing. We certainly will be back

This German restaurant in the middle of the Italian quarter, is an oasis of friendly service and excellent cooking. We visited it twice and were very impressed by the quality if their cooking, across a wide range of meals.

This newly reopened Winery stands on one of the most central places of the old town of Limburg. The Plötze. Surounded on all sides by medieval "Fachwerk" houses, this restaurant sports some of the most historic eating hall in the region. If open, don't miss out to have a look in the cellar. The food is solid german cuisine made with a good feeling for quality. I liked the "Saurbraten". The Whines are great, specially the typical german white whines from the Rheingau Region are tasty.

I had the pepper-crusted steak, green beans with bacon bits and pan fried potatoes. Still makes my mouth water, it was so good! All members of the group were very satisfied with their meal and wine.

The food was excellent. The Wine was great. The Service was a disaster. We were a group of 8. 6 of us got it in time. Two were forgotten. Couple of ordered things never showed up. The Espresso (as an excuse from the staff) was cold.

A great little local bar, good for a late night beer before retiring to the hotel across the street. Good beers and relaxing atmosphere.

Six of us dined here (two of us from Sydney, Australia, the other four were locals who are friends, one who knows a lot about German wine. He was most impressed with the wine list and we tried several excellent German wines. The wines accompanied the food perfectly. The food was extremely well cooked. Service was professional and friendly. I would be very happy to return to this restaurant the next time we visit Limburg.
