Lange nicht mehr dort gewesen um so größer war die Freude mal wieder in diesem schönen Ambiente sein zu dürfen. Essen und Service wie immer perfekt und unsere Hunde waren auch willkommen. Wir bedanken uns von Herzen

Tradition, die man schmeckt! Meine Eltern sind früher schon unglaublich gerne hierhergegangen. Nach über 40 Jahren habe ich das Restaurant nun wieder besucht und bin absolut begeistert. Die Schnittchen schmecken immer noch so fantastisch wie in meiner Erinnerung. Schön, dass es solche beständigen Traditionsbetriebe mit gleichbleibend hoher Qualität heute noch gibt. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Das ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp für Menschen die das außergewöhnliche lieben und nicht nur das Einheitsessen bevorzugen. Ein ganz andere Karte aber extrem geschmackvoll. Die Einrichtung versetzt dich in die 50‘er Jahre und gibt dir direkt das Gefühl der Gemütlichkeit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und absolut Kinderorientiert. Das Kindereis geht auf Haus. Die Portionen sind reichhaltig und trifft absolut den Geschmack. Es werden hochwertige Zutaten verwendet was der Gast auch schmeckt. Wie gesagt absolute Empfehlung!

Kult, ein Original, für mich gibt es kaum was besseres, wenn man einfach lecker essen möchte. Update 12.04.2026 -> immernoch geil!

Es ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis im Weinhaus Lichtenberg.

Tolle Atmosphäre. Leckeres Essen. Leckere Weine. Sehr familiär. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Terrasse ist so gemütlich. Mit großer Markise. Also kann man auch im Regen sein Weinchen draußen genießen. Leckere Hausmannskost, sehr gute Portionen. Auch sehr leckere Sondergerichte. Spargel, die tolle Gans im Winter, der Sauerbraten, und das Fischessen. Und Ende November das Advendstreffen. Einfach nur gemütlich. Kommen immer gerne.

Wir waren im Dezember 2024 mit unserer Großfamilie dort zum 90. Geburtstag meines Bruders, der dort wohnt. Das Essen und alles was dazugehört einschließlich der absolut familiären Umsorgung…. einfach nur ein rundherum grandioser Tag 👏👏👏👏❤️

Sonntag nachmittags das erste Mal dagewesen, nachdem es uns schon so oft empfohlen wurde. Wir waren alle begeistert von dem leckeren Roastbeef sowie der freundlichen Bedienung. Wir haben "draußen" überdacht mit Wärmestrahlern gesessen und es war sehr gemütlich.

Ein herrliches Gasthaus mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern, tollen Weinen und köstlichen Speisen. Ein angenehmes Ambiente. Sehr zu empfehlen! Endlich wieder eingekehrt. Es war wieder toll!

Wie immer grandios. Kommen als Firma jährlich zum Gänseessen, aber auch privat toll. So gemütlich eingerichtet, so nette Leute, Super Essen. Muss man hin!

Sehr lecker, sieht "gut-bürgerlich", sie können aber viel mehr. Immer einen Besuch wert. Parken ist herausfordernd. Tipp gegen Knöllchen: aussteigen lassen, Fahrer parkt und kommt nach.

Wir kehren hier jedes Jahr zur Weihnachtsfeier mit Gänse essen ein. Es ist jedes Mal eine wahre Wonne. Wir sind immer eine größere Gruppe mit 15-20 Personen. Dieses Mal hatten wir sogar einen eigenen Raum für uns. Festlich geschmückt und mit Liebe dekoriert. Das Essen ist rustikal - aber immer vorzüglich. Der Service ist hier absolut ohne fehl und Tadel. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr. 🫶

Da gab es gar nix zu meckern. Alles top. Einziges Problem: die Parkplatzsuche, aber die lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Wir waren gestern zum Gänse essen. Es war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Die Mitarbeiter und Familien Inhaber sind alle sehr freundlich. Weiter so !

The Weinhaus Lichtenberg has been a Königswinter institution for generations, known for its excellent wine list and delicious, high-quality food. The typical regional cuisine and the rustic, cozy atmosphere are highly valued by locals and visitors alike. The service is attentive, prompt, and friendly; unfortunately, card payments are not preferred. I must deduct one star for the extremely poor parking situation and the high prices of the food.

The food is very, very good. The prices may seem a bit high at first glance, but the food is worth every single penny. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The owner is also genuinely interested in the well-being of his guests and can often be seen in the dining room. The atmosphere is authentic and therefore rustic/cozy. I will definitely come back and can absolutely recommend the Winhaus Lichtenberg.

The food was "so-so," the service was friendly and attentive; it's more like a wine bar with a snack menu. Roast beef in all varieties. Schnitzel was available upon request, but it wasn't even on the menu.

Cozy and a large selection of smaller dishes, which are also affordable. However, the prices for wine per glass are extortionate compared to the bottle. 0.2 liters start at €7.50 to €9.00. Outrageous. You're forced to buy a whole bottle. We won't go there anymore.

If you like retro, you've come to the right place.

I've known this incredibly cozy and intimate restaurant for many decades. The Lichtenberg family, now run by Heidi and supported by their son Ralf, is unique and a must-visit at least once. What beautiful spaces. What friendly staff. Child-friendly, and the wines and typical food are addictive. For example, the roast beef sandwich. A great portion with homemade potato salad and remoulade. There are many other delicious items and daily specials. For the little ones, and the grown-ups too, there's always a self-service bowl of Haribo on the bar. So, go ahead. It's best to make a reservation, though. Michael H.

A very nice inn with a cozy atmosphere. We sat in the beer garden and were a large group. They mainly serve good, home-cooked food. The selection of food and drinks is sufficient. You should expect hearty meals. The portions were more than generous. Everyone was happy with their choices. We loved the dressing on the side salad. It was so delicious. The fried potatoes were crispy and tasty. Not soggy like you sometimes get. Kudos to the kitchen. The service was attentive and friendly. Always a smile, despite the stress. It was definitely full. I think a reservation is a good idea here.

The food is typical of a wine bar, with fried potatoes, cheese, etc. The prices are much too high compared to "good" restaurants, though!

I am absolutely thrilled with my visit to Weinhaus Lichtenberg! From the very first second, I felt at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The wines are simply fantastic! I tried several different varieties and was impressed by the quality and flavor every time. The wines are perfectly balanced and have a wonderful complexity. I highly recommend Weinhaus Lichtenberg! It's a must-visit for every wine lover. The atmosphere, the wines, and the food are simply perfect. I will definitely be back! I hope to have the pleasure of visiting Weinhaus Lichtenberg again soon!

We've been visiting this lovely restaurant for decades. We especially love the roast beef sandwiches. The quality and taste are outstanding! Unfortunately, prices have skyrocketed in recent years.

Highly recommended, with a warm Rhineland atmosphere throughout. Extremely child-friendly, very comfortably furnished, and delicious food.

The food was good for what it was. The service was friendly but at times overwhelmed, and we found it very, very unfortunate that there was schnitzel and asparagus, which we would have liked to order, but only found out after eating, as there was no side dish on the menu, and the service didn't even mention it. There were only two notes in the aisle as a reminder, which we didn't see.

We haven't had the opportunity to choose a new favorite restaurant after our first visit either. Everything that should be right is right here... and beyond. Service, food, wine, everything was excellent! We are already looking forward to the next time.

Am 15.03.25 haben wir einen Tisch für den 01.05.25 für 3 Personen reserviert. Anstatt für 3 Personen haben wir einen kleinen Tisch für 2 Personen in dem Innenraum bekommen. Auf die freundliche Nachfrage, ob wir draußen speisen könnten, kam eine, in einem nicht angebrachtem Ton Antwort, wir sehen doch es wäre alles voll. Auf die Anmerkung, wir hätten die Reservierung bereits vor einigen Wochen gemacht, kam noch eine pampige Antwort „Allee, die draußen sitzen, haben noch früher reserviert“. Ah so. Es wird also bei jeder Reservierung das Datum der Reservierung eingetragen? Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, sind leider von dem jungen Mann mit der hohen Stimme sehr enttäuscht worden und fahren mit einem bitteren Nachgeschmack nach Hause. Das Essen ist sehr lecker gewesen und trotzdem überlegen wir, ob wir noch mal hingehen werden.

Weinhaus Lichtenberg is a cozy and charming spot! The service was excellent — the staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming. It was my first time trying a German dish, so I was a bit skeptical, but it turned out to be delicious, especially the dip. I would definitely recommend this place!

Simply a secret tip in Bonn! Extremely good and honest food. Price is a bit more expensive but service and atmosphere 10/10 Would come and eat there again and again!

Einfach ein Erlebnis wir waren in vier Tagen Königswinter 2 mal da. Wir gehen oft und auch in top Restaurants essen und waren so sehr begeistert von dem Service der Mitarbeiten und Junior Lichtenberg. Perfekter Service mit einer tollen ehrlichen Küche mit Liebe wie von Oma zubereitet. Was viele über die Preise meckern verstehe ich nicht alle Kosten und Produkte sind überall sehr gestiegen und wenn man Qualität und frische lokale Produkte möchte sind die halt teurer. Ebenso hohe Kosten sind das Personal und ich finde es sind sehr viele und top Service Kräfte da. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder

Ich liebe das Weinhaus Lichtenberg und seine Küche. Egal, wann ich da war - und egal, was wir gegessen und getrunken haben - es war immer hervorragend. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und entgegenkommend, es ist gemütlich, egal wo man sitzt und man hat immer das Gefühl, etwas Besonderes zu sein.

An institution that you have to experience to be believed

Far too expensive for the mediocre quality and the one-sided offer. Construction worker food (meat sausage) but no beer. Parking somewhere further down in the village. Flop!

Wine house with local and German wines. Simple but very tasty cuisine. My favorite: Restoration sandwiches with fried potatoes. And the service is very attentive and always friendly.

The annual goose dinner at Weinhaus Lichtenberg has now become a tradition. Simply perfect! Everyone was thrilled. The food and service and atmosphere are outstanding. Looking forward to next year :)

Everything was really right here, absolutely recommended, I was there for the first time last week - definitely not the last time. Goose dinner. Perfectly prepared, generous side dishes, everything homemade. The leg came with a bowl of each: Brussels sprouts, red cabbage, fried potatoes, dumplings and applesauce. The service is also great, from the kitchen help to the owner everyone was perfect, not intrusive but always there if you needed anything. I give this an unreserved recommendation, thank you for the lovely evening!

Huge restaurant, divided into individual rooms and with an inner courtyard. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and polite.

The food only has 3 stars because there was only bread with toppings and potato salad, which I didn't think was that great, every sausage and cheese had a thick layer of remulade on it. A blob on the edge would have been better.

An absolute must in the Königswinter area! The classic and feel-good place. The interior and the decoration make you feel more like Laura Ashley, but with Marianne, Irene or the 'naked fat woman you eat very well in the middle-class way'. It's closed on Fridays and on the other days it's almost always full - so make a reservation!

After many years, I finally returned to Weinhaus Lichtenberg after a hike in the Siebengebirge. For me, this rustic restaurant particularly fulfills the idea of ​​an inn in the Rhenish wine region. Wherever you can meet and socialize over a glass of wine, that's where I feel at home. The menu options include thick sausage with potato salad, crispy fried potatoes with a fried egg or Irene slice plate. But be careful: the portions are generous, so they can easily be enough for two people. What I really appreciate here is the friendliness of the staff, who also deserve the tip because of their attentiveness. In the inner courtyard you can sit in a cozy garden atmosphere and yet be protected from too much sun or rain. My next visit won't be that long in coming.

Very nice staff!!!and a great atmosphere. We thought it was really great. Just be patient and look carefully when looking for a parking space.

Nice wine bar, about 15 minutes walk from Niederdollendorf train station. Very spacious courtyard with many tables. The staff is friendly and quick. The wines (we had white wine from the local winemaker) were well chilled and really tasty. The price of up to EUR 9.00 for a trophy seems a bit too high for a restaurant in this category. The dish marked as "Halver Hahn" was actually a slice of gray bread with a thick slice of young Gouda, although tasty, but not a classic "Hahn" (Röggelchen, middle-aged cheese, etc.) Therefore 4 out of 5 stars.

Everything as it has always been - roast beef, sandwiches, etc. Well poured wine glasses with tasty drops. Deduction of 1 star for the ambience because there is really a lot of noise outside in the courtyard, but you actually know that beforehand.

Pure Rhenish cosiness and hospitality. Were there yesterday for asparagus. What was served wasn't "homeopathic" cans, but rather full asparagus. Even with a full house - there was also a shooting festival yesterday - the staff is on point. What is particularly attractive is that the Rhenish dialect is still practiced in Lichtenberg. Beer is not served, after all it is a wine house, but there are also several local Oberdollendorf wines. Be sure to reserve.

Sandwiches and wine in a rustic ambience, that describes Weinhaus Lichtenberg quite well. Not high-end, but that wouldn't fit grandma's living room atmosphere either. A selection of German wines paired with a selection of dishes that pair perfectly with them. Perfect fried potatoes, thin and crispy without being too dark, combined with delicious roast beef on buttered bread. The kitchen earns the 5th star when it adds eggs and gherkins to the potato salad. ;) The service is attentive and prompt. A successful evening, thank you for that!

Nachdem wir längere Zeit nicht mehr in Oberdollendorf im Weinhaus Lichtenberg gewesen sind, waren wir anlässlich eines Geburtstages wieder einmal hier, um die geliebten Roastbeefschnittchen zu essen. Diese sind nach wie vor unübertroffen gut. Allerdings sind die Preise zwischenzeitlich auch ordentlich gestiegen. 27,80 EUR für Roestbeefschnittchen mit Bratkartoffeln und 2 Spiegeleiern sind schon eine Hausnummer aber trotzdem sehr lecker. Auch die Preise für die Weine haben ebenfalls angezogen, rd. 10 EUR für einen Pokal Merlot sind schon hoch aber ebenfalls sehr lecker. Die Dame, die hier bedient, ist bereits seit vielen Jahren im Lichtenberg tätig und den Gästen sehr zugewandt. Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Lichtenberg ist halt nach wie vor eine Institution in Oberdollendorf.

If you don't know this place, you've missed something. Such warm service, the best fried potatoes in the world, deluxe roast beef and much more. Super super child friendly and just cozy and a perfect place for a nice evening.

That was an experience! We had previously gone on a hike up the Petersberg and then returned here hungry and thirsty. I had a cold platter with liver sausage, black pudding, bread, butter and mustard...delicious! As everywhere in the catering industry, the prices at Weinhaus Lichtenberg cannot necessarily be described as “cheap”, but the service knows exactly how to satisfy the guests: Our daughter received some snacks/sweets for free from the boss and our dog received some slices of the best roast beef from the friendly waitress... I'd be happy to leave a few euros as a tip! The dry Riesling (bottle, Blöser winery) from Oberdollendorf rounded everything off.

Here Heidi will spoil you with culinary delights and her Rhenish style! If you like good traditional cuisine, this is the place for you. The best fried potatoes are served here - a MUST with roast beef. Ambiance is quaint and cozy. I wouldn't be me if I didn't find a bit of dust here and there 😉
