Yes, absolutely in every respect.

Anyone in Unkel simply has to stop by the "Weinhaus im Lämmlein." If you're expecting a gourmet restaurant, you're probably mistaken. It's a rustic wine house with a great ambiance and super-friendly, prompt, and very accommodating service. I've rarely experienced such hospitality. But be careful – if you order the amazing potato soup as a starter and a main course at the same time, you might run into problems. Therefore, my advice: first enjoy the excellent potato soup and then reconsider whether you can fit anything else in. A rustic restaurant, great service, delicious food – but mostly from the "cold platter." We've been near Unkel three times with our motorhome since last year – and every time we've been to the "Weinhaus im Lämmlein." If you find a seat inside, you'll be delighted by the ambiance – and if you get a seat outside, you'll also be delighted by the view of the picturesque alley. I would definitely recommend it - especially since I won't be anywhere near Unkel without stopping by at least once.

The three of us dined at Lämmlein in the evening and were very satisfied. The wine bar is very cozy and beautifully decorated; when the weather's nice, you can sit in the picturesque alleyway. The house white wine was the best of the four we tried, and the food is simple but really good.

Beautiful restaurant. A small menu (but still filling and delicious), a great wine list (highly recommended). A wonderful ambiance. Three of us ended up there by chance today. Although it was very busy, we were given a seat. Everyone in the service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, but... make a reservation in advance. As I said, it's very busy. We'd go back anytime. We'll definitely be back. By the way: they serve very good blanc de noir.

Unkel is always worth a visit. But here it's so delicious and cozy that I didn't want to leave. The food and wine are a delight, and the service is simply excellent! You just feel at home. I ate the best tarte flambée of my life here.

We (a family of three) spontaneously went there during the Easter holidays. We didn't have a reservation. The restaurant was really full, but the landlord still managed to get us a table. The food was also delicious and lovingly prepared. Many thanks to the team.

A “must” if you are in Unkel. One of the coziest and quaint places I know. First-class, predominantly regional wines and delicious small dishes. Last but not least, the extremely friendly and attentive service. My friends and I really enjoy being guests in this restaurant, which is ideal for stopping off or stopping off after hikes. The restaurant is particularly atmospherically decorated during Advent. Unfortunately the restaurant is in winter break and therefore until Closed mid-March 2025. But the landlord, Mr. Peter Braun, and his team were granted the break; Such a well-maintained and well-run establishment requires a lot of work. Therefore, they are granted the holiday time - and my friends and I are looking forward to the reopening from mid-March 2025.

We have been coming for many years and always enjoy staying at the Lämmlein. Everything just fits.

We just had a drink there. Were served very friendly. Took a little drinking break on a hike. Very cozy atmosphere. The various dishes I saw looked delicious. We will definitely try it out once. Vi ramlade in förutsättningslöst då vi övernattade i Unkel och restaurangen på vårt hotell var stängd. Det visade sig vara tur då besöket här blev en av höjdpunkterna på vår resa!! Det var en fantastisk genuin känsla av mysighet och trivsel som vilade över hela stället. Värden stod själv för serveringen och han hade verkligen ett sätt som gjorde att man kände sig sedd och väl omhändertagen. Han tog sig tid och berättade om famlijeetablissemangets historia, vilket gjorde att den redan höga graden av äkta mysighet ökade än mer! Maten var rustik, god och i rejäla portioner. Det fanns ett väl avvägt utbud av lokala viner att avnjuta!! Rekommenderas starkt om man är i eller i närheten av Unkel!!

Tasteful decor, good wine list, quiet location

Beautiful rustic wine house. We went with a group of 4 for lunch without a reservation on a Saturday. It has such a beautiful decor inside, great attention to detail and staff was very welcoming. They mostly serve platters and dishes perfect for sharing. Everything was delicious and we split a bottle of house rosé which was light and perfect for the hot summer day. We had a great time here and I'd go back any time!

Gutes deutsches Essen, kleines feines Angebot mit Salaten "Schnittchen und Suppen, Fisch und Würstchen als Begleitung zum Wesentlichen: dem Wein aus der Region. Regionales und Saisonales bereichern auch die Speisekarte. Der Chef und auch das Team ist freundlich und herzlich, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Dazu trägt auch die besondere Räumlichkeit bei, die mit tausend kleinen Lichtern den Weinhimmel beleuchtet, die Dekoration spiegelt die Geschickte des alteingesessenen Hauses wieder. Lassen Sie sich den köstlichen Glühwein in der Weihnachtszeit nicht entgehen!

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr guter Service. Als wir kamen war schon alles voll aber man hat uns noch mit einer Couch aushelfen können auf der wir Fingerfood essen konnten: Wir hatten dann sehr leckere Flammkuchen. Gut gefallen hat und auch die Auswahl an alkoholfreien Getränken.

Alle vier lekker gegeten. Het zijn smakelijke gerechten. Hausmannskost noemen ze het zelf. Verwacht geen entrecotes of schnitzels met patat en warme groentes. Maar wel een heerlijke aardappelsoep, goede salades, erg lekkere plates met vleeswaren en kaas (Oma Leni's bauernplatte!!), huisgemaakte flammkuchen en uitmijters met lekkere gerookte zalm. Daarbij een uitgebreide wijnkaart met uitstekende en betaalbare locale wijnen. Leuk is dat je eens wat anders eet dan wat je verwacht. En dan ook nog prettige bediening en een leuke locatie. Kortom prima eetgelegenheid in Unkel.

Schöne Atmosphäre, vom Essen, dem Wein bis hin zum abschließenden Espresso alles sehr gut. Freundlicher und professioneller Service, rundum ein schöner Nachmittag, bestimmt nicht der letzte dort.

Schönes kleines rustikales Weinlokal. Überdachter Innenhof. Reservieren unbedingt nötig.

Tolles Lokal, sehr gutes Essen, im Winter die Maronensuppe, im Sommer leckere Salate (z.B. Melonensalat) und natürlich die Flammkuchen. Weine aus der Region, auch aus eigenen Anbau. Das Ambiente ist einmalig, sowohl drinnen im überdachten Rebengarten, als auch draußen mitten in der Unkeler Altstadt. Hier fühlt man sich einfach wohl und es ist wie Urlaub zuhause 😆

Wo der Himmel voller Wein hängt. Endlich Mal eingekehrt,im Rahmen der Unkeler Höfe. Vorzüglicher Spätburgunder von der Ahr zu reichlich belegten Flammkuchen 😋.

Ich glaube dieses Lokal ist ein wenig das Wohnzimmer von Unkel. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und fanden mit einer mehren Personen einen Platz. Das Ambiente ist einzigartig und lädt zum bleiben ein. Stets war man um uns bemüht. Die Weine sind aus der Region und die Küche bietet eine dazu passende Auswahl an Leckereien. Klare Empfehlung.

Auf gut Glück sind wir ins Lämmlein, bekamen einen schönen Platz angewiesen und haben toll gegessen und getrunken. Die Speisekarte ist zwar klein, aber die Gerichte passen perfekt zum Wein, den es in vielen Sorten gibt.

Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
