I ate at this restaurant for dinner after reading very positive reviews. It was the first day of opening after the holidays, but evidently my mind was still on the holidays. After a friendly welcome, with a mixed salad offered by the restaurant, the quality of the whole experience dropped. As soon as I finished the starter, a decent onion soup, I didn't even have time to breathe before the main course was already there, a schnitzel with bratkartoffeln, which were tasty, but so greasy that if I squeezed them I would fill a bottle of oil (you can also understand from the photo I attach). In short, frying is of very, very poor quality. I think the digestion will take a long time. Also, after I finished my glass of wine and while I was still eating, I had to wait a good 15 minutes for someone to come over and ask if I wanted more. And all this, despite the room being practically empty. What to say? I may have been unlucky, but obviously I won't return to this place, except to see the beautiful half-timbered houses in the small town.

It was a very nice stay with very tasty food at the Scheurener Hof. We would love to come back.

Everything was very tasty and super fresh. Something for every taste. It's nice to sit outside in the summer. Staff is very friendly. Everything is reasonably priced - not overpriced. Highly recommended. Reservation in advance is recommended. Walking distance from the train station.

We ordered tarte flambée and received two rounds each. It was too much for us and we took the rest with us. Nice inn and food.

We came across the Scheurener Hof by chance and unfortunately only visited the restaurant. But it was really worth it. I got the world's best schnitzel and the service from the very young team was really excellent. We will be happy to come back.

We had dinner at Scheurener Hof and we loved it! We sat outside the courtyard next to a small fountain with a view of the town's beautiful half-timbered houses. We were greeted and served in a very friendly manner. The food was really good in every respect. Strong recommendation!

I visited the Scheurener Hof with my dog ​​and stayed overnight. We had a very nice contact by phone and were warmly welcomed. The single room was large enough, functionally furnished and clean. Unfortunately a bit noisy. But that didn't really bother me. It is very nice to be able to make coffee or tea in the room. I would describe the food as good home cooking and absolutely delicious and recommended. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use the beautiful outdoor seating because the weather didn't cooperate. The breakfast was also great. A beautiful small hotel with a very friendly and warm owner family. I will gladly come again.

We only used the restaurant and not the hotel to stay overnight. We were very satisfied. A nice rustic atmosphere. Very, very friendly service, the food was delicious 😋, unfortunately way too much. A pensioner's menu and a children's menu would have been enough for us. We had the rest packed up, which was done without any problems. So definitely recommended, we would be happy to come back.

A real surprise, an honest restaurant. Cozy, nice/fast service and a good “bourgeois” menu at fair prices, taste and quality are top. We'll be back, there are too many delicious dishes on the menu :-).

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Since we didn't stay here but only ate, the rating only refers to the restaurant. Everything was just great! We immediately felt at home, we were greeted in a friendly manner, everything was very clean and there was a really pleasant atmosphere. The menu isn't huge, but everyone should find what they're looking for here, as they're happy to accommodate special requests. The food was excellent and plentiful with good value for money (the prawn pan in the picture is only half the portion as we shared it). The service is very friendly and attentive. If we were in the area again, we would definitely eat here again. Absolute recommendation 👍

Went there for dinner yesterday on Boxing Day. It was really tasty and the service was also very attentive and friendly. Price/performance more than great. We were quite surprised to get such large portions for the prices.

Waren gestern dort mit 6 Personen essen nie wieder Die kindergerichte pommes mit schnitzel und Püree mit Fisch Stäbchen sowie ein schnitzel haben Sie noch hinbekommen auch die zwiebelsuppe und den Salat aber das war es auch schon Das putensteak war noch halb roh wurde noch mal nachgebraten Das filesteak Medium Plus war halb durch und die andere Hälfte war auch noch fast roh mußte auch noch mal in die küche Sowie das schweinefile das so gerade noch grenzwertig war Habe schon lange nicht mehr für mein Geld so schlecht gegessen echt schade vielleicht war der Koch ja auch nur krank aber wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder Der Laden selber ist echt schön aber sodas darf bei solchen Preisen nicht passieren

An einem Freitagabend sind essen gegangen. Wir hatten beide das Rumpsteak (200g) bestellt. Einmal mit Schmorzwiebeln und Pommes, einmal mit Sauce Bearnaise und Süßkartoffelpommes. Es war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Die Weine vom Weingut Krupp haben gut dazu gepasst.

Restaurant: Waren an einem Sonntag spontan da und wurden äußerst freundlich aufgenommen trotz vollem Restaurant. Der Service weiß was er tut und das super nett und herzlich. Sogar unser Kind wurde mit Freude empfangen und sogar nett belustigt trotz vollem Haus und wer mal mit einem Kind in Restaurants war weiß nicht das sowas selbstverständlich ist. Sogar ein extra Kinder Menu wie wir es bestellten wurde trotz das es nicht auf der Karte steht gezaubert und sogar kindlich dekoriert. So wünscht man sich das. Feedback zu essen: Unser Kind (2,5 Jahre alt ) hat von sich aus gesagt mhh… das ist sehr köstlich Wir hatten den Sauerbraten und die Gans und können unserem Kind nur zustimmen es war einfach sehr köstlich. Portion war reichlich und Location sehr hübsch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein sehr gelungenes Konzept .. wir waren das erste mal dort aber bestimmt nicht das letzte mal … sehr gut weiter so :)

Waren im Restaurant deshalb keine Bewertung des hotels. Super leckerer Sauerbraten. Zart wie er sein soll. Schnitzel waren 2 auf dem Teller. 😋 😋 Salat vorher ebenfalls gut. Service schnell und freundlich. Kommen wieder. Danke

Wir haben ein sehr schönes Familienfest hier gefeiert. Sehr gutes Essen. Eine freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Rundum, kann ich dieses Restaurant , für alle Gelegenheiten , nur weiterempfehlen.

Der Service war ganz in Ordnung. Ich hatte das Paprikaschnitzel. Das war wirklich ungenießbar. Paprika in brauner Sauce aus der Tüte. Die Beilagensalate waren auch ein Witz. Wir waren mit der Familie da und werden es nicht wiederholen.

Ein Ort den man nur findet wenn man die Gegend zu Fuß erkundet, glaube ich. Entzückender Ortsteil von Unkel. Wir haben draußen gesessen und die erste Wärme genossen. Ich habe den besten Kartoffelbrei meines Lebens genossen ( und ich habe einige Jahre hinter mir), der perfekt zum Kalbslebergechnetzelten passte. Auch zu anderen Gerichten die empfohlenen Beilagen wählen! Preis-Leistung perfekt, kein Gericht der Stammkarte über 20 €.

Von außen sieht man es dem Restaurant nicht an, aber die Ausstattung innen ist so wunderbar, geschmackvoll, edel und wertig, dazu sehr nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Wir haben es genossen, auch mal etwas andere Speisen neben Fleisch und Flammkuchen auswählen zu können und empfehlen das Restaurant sehr gerne weiter.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant kurzfristig gebucht und waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Schöne Einrichtung, viel Platz zwischen den Tischen, detaillierte Kontrolle der Impfnachweise und sehr freundliches Personal. Die bestellten Gerichte wurden zeitnah serviert und waren in absolut guter Qualität. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut angemessen.
