A beautiful restaurant; the 5-course menu is top-notch. The ambiance and service leave nothing to be desired.

The wine selection here is fantastic, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The food, pumpkin ravioli with strips of filet mignon, was absolutely not to my taste. The sauce was drastically reduced and far too overpowering, and the ravioli themselves weren't particularly flavorful, which could, of course, have been due to the terrible sauce. The "strips of filet mignon" weren't strips at all, but rather bits of steak. When ordering steaks, they don't even bother to ask how you'd like them cooked; they serve them almost well-done and dry. The side salad was uninspired, with a very acidic dressing. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is not justified. The ambiance is rustic, small, and rather cramped. Old doors are covered with curtains, but you still sit directly in front of them, and a cold draft blows down your leg. They regularly add wood to the wood-burning stove, which, of course, brings a considerable cloud of burning wood smoke into the room. We won't be visiting the Fledermaus again! It's a shame; we had hoped for more!

Absolutely and unreservedly recommended. The menu and wine pairings were delicious and exceptionally harmonious. I have rarely enjoyed such tasty and perfectly balanced dishes. This restaurant is a true gem for Pulheim and the Cologne region. The waitress also gave precise wine recommendations and led us to an excellent glass from the open wine selection. The range of bottled wines is extensive and covers a wide spectrum of tastes. Thank you so much – we will be back.

A lovely old wine tavern with fantastic food. My husband and I had the three-course set menu and were very satisfied. Huge scampi, a variety of fish, and small cheese and dessert plates. Perfect for special occasions, but unfortunately too expensive for us to eat there often. It's definitely worth the price, though.

And once again, we visited the Fledermaus. The three-course menu, priced at €46, can be customized from a wide range of options. High quality, excellent wine list, and friendly service are happy to help with wine selection. Guests feel very comfortable here.

I was invited by friends and at first couldn't decide from the excellent selection on the menu. I opted for the veal liver, which was perfectly prepared. The service was extremely attentive and courteous, making it perfect. A successful evening in a highly recommended restaurant.

The ox cheeks were simply fantastic. Period. The wine pairing was perfect and delicious. The service was attentive. And, of course, the ambiance is fabulous in the old building. We'll be back.

Yesterday, my wife and I were privileged to attend a special birthday party. We had a truly wonderful time! In addition to the beautiful rustic yet modern ambiance, the service and cuisine were absolutely stunning! From the moment we were welcomed under the awning, separated from the restaurant, we knew it would be a wonderful evening. We enjoyed an excellent meal across all courses in a separate dining room. Well-balanced, with the finest ingredients and beautifully presented. Simply excellent craftsmanship. Special praise also for the service. A great deal of professionalism and passion was at work. Whether in communication with the guests or attentiveness when reordering – we received excellent service. And that despite the à la carte service in the front area.

What can I say... Fantastic 💯 in every respect... five out of five points 👍

Overall, a nice restaurant. The tuna tartar started things off a bit bland. Then came the truffle ravioli, which were very good. There was actually no evidence of real truffle. The dessert selections were OK. The price/performance ratio was good.

The classic fried veal liver with onions and mashed potatoes was cooked to perfection, and the liver was very tender. The scallops with leaf spinach were tender and natural. The asparagus soup as a starter was truly delicious and had a distinctly asparagus flavor. Unfortunately, the asparagus had a few sticks sticking out of it. Even with a dog, the service was very friendly and, above all, very attentive, and the food arrived very quickly. The ambiance is rustic and befitting a wine tavern or wine house. We've been here in the summer, and when the fireplace is burning cozy in the winter, it's even more romantic. This wine house offers non-alcoholic wines and good-quality sparkling wine.

The ambiance is very nice, especially outside on the terrace, which is very cozy and atmospheric. The service is usually quick and friendly, but not always consistently good and professional. The wine list is good and extensive, but the food isn't consistently top-notch. For example, we had an octopus and potato salad where the octopus was completely tough. The fried potatoes that accompanied the chicken cordon bleu were unfortunately only warmed over and not crispy, and the side salad was very boring. Otherwise, the meat and fish are of good quality. It's always best to make a reservation.

I was here late in the afternoon, had made a reservation, and opted for a vegetarian pasta dish. I also had a classic dessert. I was very pleased with my meal and the selection. If you appreciate wine, you'll find a very extensive selection here. For me, service is almost as important at dinner. And I particularly liked it here. The service was truly exceptional, right up until closing time. Thank you very much, I'll definitely be back.

There were three of us in the wine house, the parking situation was only so-so, the service was very friendly and accommodating. In fact, there was only one point that seemed a bit strange to us, it was cleared away a little quickly, it felt like you put the spoon down and the plate was already gone. Otherwise there was nothing to complain about. Absolute recommendation.

The Weinhaus Fledermaus is simply always good. Everyone in service is very friendly and attentive, the food is very good. The range of non-alcoholic drinks is also very good. In winter when the fireplace is on it is particularly cozy and in summer you can simply relax on the terrace. Clear recommendation to try it out 👍. Many thanks to the Weinhaus Fledermaus team.

I don't know of a better restaurant in the entire Rhein-Erft district. The food is great, you sit very comfortably (including by the open fireplace) and the service is attentive, without seeming intrusive.

Unfortunately, everything depends on the service and it really wasn't good. Of 4 x starters, 2 were wrong. The same thing again with the main course. It wasn't solved professionally either, but we had to eat at a different time. The waiter had no idea about the wine and couldn't advise us. But the food was very good. But we expect a lot more from a restaurant for such prices.

Good morning. Went to the tasting menu and wine pairing from Weingut Dreissigacker on January 23, 2025. A very successful evening. Very professional advice from Janne Michaelis(Dreissigacker) and Gael Herve from Wein Wolf.And excellent service from Sven Dittrich and crew. Ps The Danish head waiter Knudson was a highlight.

We were there for the first time. Unfortunately we didn't find it as good as the other reviews stated. We found it to be very loud and narrow, making it difficult to have a comfortable conversation. The vegetarian dishes (porcini ravioli, pasta with vegetables) were just average and not worth the price. The rosé wine, however, was extremely tasty. The location itself is also very nice. The dessert and the starter soup were also extremely tasty.

We went to the Fledermaus again with the family for dinner on Christmas Day. In addition to the appealing ambience and the friendly and courteous service as always, the food was of course also very good. It's always nice that you can put together your own menu.

What else can you say? As usual, everything was great! We would also like to thank you again for the table behind the window in the fireplace room, so that the fireplace aromas did not affect my bronchi! Great Christmas evening with very good food!!!

We went to the Fledermaus for dinner for the first time on Boxing Day. It was outstanding. A really great menu. The service was very good. Everyone was very friendly throughout. Price performance is completely okay. We were so excited that we made reservations straight away for Easter.

We always enjoy being here! The food and wine are always excellent! The staff was very nice and accommodating! Our christening celebration and Christmas dinner were also extremely good! We look forward to next time.

Six of us ate at Fledermaus and were once again very impressed by both the food and the ambience. However, we were impressed by the service. We had to leave the restaurant early because my mother wasn't feeling well. Since we didn't want to miss out on the dessert we had already ordered, we asked if we could take it with us. The employee responded to our request in a very friendly manner. At home we were more than surprised to see how carefully our 6 portions were prepared and packaged separately. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, we were able to end the evening in style at home with a delicious dessert. Thanks!

Als Vegetarierin bin ich zudem sehr begeistert von der vegetarischen Speisenauswahl. Mein Mann lobte sein perfekt gebratenes Steak auch sehr. My first time there was, however, a sad occasion. The staff is sensitive, very nice and helpful. The food was very tasty. The mixed tapas platters tasted excellent. Gladly again, if the journey wasn't so long.

We chose a 4 course menu. The best was the beef fillet, 5 stars and the dessert 4 stars. We had asparagus, maybe it was the weather? We would only give 1 star for the asparagus, and only 1 star for the starter, asparagus salad with strawberries. The second starter, ravioli with asparagus and saffron, delicious 5 stars. The place is nice. The price is just okay. We were hoping for a little more quality and taste. It may have been because it was a larger event in the large hall. Maybe we'll make a second attempt.

We like coming to the Fledermaus, rustic atmosphere in winter with a fireplace and in summer on the terrace surrounded by old trees, great. Delicious food with a varied menu, there is something for everyone. Service is great, pleasant and polite and your wishes are taken into account.
