Highly recommended is the Strauss Wirtschaft Rhabanushof on Bachweg, run by Michael Moos (master winemaker trained at Schloss Metternich) and his mother—a family business. Very good wines, a pleasant atmosphere, and good Rhenish specialties for snacks. Excellent value for money. Brentano Haus and Schloss Johannisberg are nearby. A charming wine-growing town with good train and bus connections to Wiesbaden/Frankfurt or Rüdesheim, Koblenz/Cologne.

Very cozy winery, with great food and a great host

Eat and drink like in the good old “Straußwirtschaft” times. 1 star deducted because the prices for “the bottle” have increased quite a bit.

Rustic Straußwirtschaft, good and very inexpensive wine. Great atmosphere, you meet a lot of locals.👍👍👍

Sehr kleines Weingut, dafür ist die Strausswirtschaft zur Weinlese auch im Wohnzimmer. Familienbetrieb mit viel Stammkundschaft. Guter Wein zu super Preisen. Kleine Karte aber völlig ok.
