A total disappointment! Underground service! Unbearably foggy dining room! Inferior food! It was so foggy in the dining room that you felt like you could cut the air. Then all of our dishes (5 people!) were simply forgotten about all the side salads!?, then it didn't taste as expected, and then after eating we sat in front of the empty plates for 45 minutes. The spaetzle is not homemade, no special meat, no special salads, no special sauce... But special prices! Simple food like in a canteen. Empty drinks, empty plates, no service anywhere. In order to get a service to our table, we had to draw attention to ourselves loudly. We just wanted to go... After a corresponding complaint of dissatisfaction, the response was with incomprehension...No accommodation, nothing... And such a performance after such a big newspaper article?? Never again!

1 star is still way too much. Where do I start? For 20 euros I could have made this meal much better at home. Spaetzle from the bag, sauce not homemade. The service was absolutely catastrophe. Forgot the side salad, it came when you were almost finished eating. We then sat in front of our empty plates for 35 minutes. No dessert was offered. Absolutely NOT recommended. You could cut the air in the room. We don't eat there anymore.

We had made a reservation for a goose meal, something special at the reception, the list of reservations couldn't be found, everything was a bit cold. The service also leaves a lot to be desired, you always had to call to order a drink and no one came and asked! The staff was overwhelmed and they weren't very hospitable when arguing at the bar! The food was good! Still we wouldn't go there again, mass processing!

First the positive: my deer medallions were perfectly fried (pink) and wonderfully tender. But that was it. My overall verdict: It's better to avoid it at peak times on the weekends and during the goose season. Too many guests who cannot be satisfied with appropriate service by the overall organization of the restaurant. This is probably largely due to the inexperienced staff… We were there with my mother for her 84th birthday. We had clarified in advance in writing that we did not want to eat a whole goose but rather a la carte. This must have been lost… We asked three times because a goose had probably been prepared for us… Now to the service: The waiter was totally overwhelmed, as were the entire service staff including the kitchen. My wife had the fish platter. Fish was oversalted, and you can't speak of a reasonable presentation on the plate. Fish and fried potatoes were slammed onto the plate, the fish was broken and was partly under the potatoes. The deer medallions were drowned in sauce, red cabbage was very tasty but unfortunately overcooked. There were also croquettes, probably frozen goods… My wine order was totally lost. After asking three times, I got a glass. The waiter didn't remember which one I had ordered... The waiter was generally very unfriendly and, as mentioned above, absolutely unable to cope with the stressful situation in a full house. In the end there was one glass too many on the bill. The waiter was reluctant to pay the money back and then threw it on our table… We wanted to take home two dishes that weren't made. This was asked three times by different service staff. The result was that our food was accidentally thrown away by the kitchen and a small portion was made for us. In itself very accommodating but not exactly sustainable… All in all, a very disappointing and annoying experience, as I had actually only heard positive things beforehand…

We had a lot of whole goose that evening. The goose plus side dishes are simply great, so they come back every year. But even without a goose, we always enjoy going to Weicks Winzerstuben. No matter what you choose, the food is always delicious, as are the wines. So recommended no matter what time of year. However, we only like to sit in the normal inn area (not in the hall or the front area of ​​the hall), so reserve early.

The food today wasn't convincing, 2x winemaker's steak, both of which were very tough, the liver was partly hard, the pike perch was good, but only with boiled potatoes and very dry. Maybe you could add a sauce to it - if you wish?

It is our favorite restaurant in Kallstadt, we eat here at least once a week. More often in the summer because you can have wonderful free seats. Since last year, her daughter Laura and her husband (the Schmitz family) have taken over the restaurant. We can say that nothing has changed in terms of quality, quantity and friendliness and we can highly recommend the restaurant. No matter what food we have eaten so far, it is always perfect and the price is right. The staff is also great.

I was there for a goose dinner, well, I think a restaurant is becoming a victim of its success. That's a lot but not a class. I personally wasn't happy. It's nice for the operator that the guests are running into his place. However, it should be despite that everything will be a lovely evening for everyone. It took a long time until we were able to place a drink order and just as long until it came. After we had been there for over half an hour we asked about the food. The whole goose was ordered and additional individual portions. However, we were more people than individuals + the whole goose. That led to irritation on the part of the service. After a number of explanations, we were able to order an individual portion. This, incomprehensibly, did not fit with the rest The order came. Since this "just takes a while now" we re-ordered it. The goose itself was carved at the table. Unfortunately everything that had to do with the whole goose was lukewarm. The goose itself was sometimes very, very crispy and unfortunately also dry. Not to mention the seasoning, which was missing. The sauce was thick and tasteless. The red cabbage was cooked completely soft. Maybe we were just unlucky, but an evening like this isn't exactly cheap. Everything should be right and the guest shouldn't feel like they're just a moneymaker. If it is difficult for staff to offer it perfectly, then accept fewer reservations. And another sentence about the ambience, a wine bar/restaurant can also be made more beautiful with a lot of wood.

We ordered a table 4 hours in advance and that worked well. The food was really good, but the waitress would have to pass on what was ordered. And the warm chocolate cake was ordered with liquid chocolate, which unfortunately wasn't the case and the mixed ice cream didn't come after ordering it twice

We came without a reservation and were seated four of us at a very large table with another couple, although smaller tables remained free the entire evening. You sit either in the old restaurant, where it looks cozy and rustic, or in the large dining hall, which has more of the feel of a train station hall or the functional dining room of an outdated spa hotel. The service made an effort, which unfortunately wasn't enough for me. We weren't asked if we wanted any more drinks, the dessert menu was brought, but we were never asked again if we wanted to order anything.

One or two dishes of international standard can also be found. The service is very friendly, attentive and also professionally trained, at least in my impression. The prices are not cheap, but reasonable. If you want to have a simple and good meal - recommended...🍽 Larger celebrations can also be held here - unfortunately I can't judge this after my visit, but I can probably assume that this will be managed well 👍.

Bad service, the food was forgotten, you had to call the service staff to the table to order more drinks - no way to see if there were empty glasses anywhere. We then had to complain again about the drinks and the food. And finally we had to remind ourselves of the bill again. Next time, after buying wine at the adjacent cooperative, we'll go to another restaurant nearby. It's a shame, it used to be much better.

Waited 10 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. 20 minutes until someone came to take drinks. Tables were only cleared when requested. Service is just bad even though there are enough waitresses running around. Had a salad with shrimps for €18 that was just subpar (4 shrimps). Conclusion: never just rip off again.

When you walk into the restaurant to look for someone to take an order, a waiter stands behind the bar and obviously rolls his eyes and runs away. Then we decided to leave. It took 25 minutes before we could pay until someone came outside. I had half of my meal packed, but when I got home I discovered that the sauce hadn't been packed. What's happening here is just audacious! Horrible prices for average quality. Lamps were only spread out on a few tables. Lots of mosquitoes while eating.

We visited Weick for the first time on Sunday evening. We were pleasantly surprised. So on the wine route and a restaurant with home-style cooking at moderate prices. We were repeat offenders and were so happy when we made a reservation at 1 p.m. and actually got a table confirmed at 6 p.m. Unfortunately, it was almost a disaster. We ordered two aperitifs, two bottles of water and a bottle of wine. Well, unfortunately instead of a bottle of wine in the cooler there were three glasses of wine with the aperitifs. After a complaint...the boss ordered it that way. Aha. Starters: Soup! The side salads we ordered as a starter were then served with a meal with such a matter-of-factness that it was impossible to tell that it was supposed to have been our starter. Ergo, everyone had a salad except me. The food came quite late. Fine fish plate (herb butter already melted on the lemon but good), the veal liver was perfectly fried and a taste highlight, my Palatinate plate...not there. He came half cold after realizing that there were only three meals on the table. The concession to pay less didn't convince me for this "messed up" evening. A pity. If you don't have enough staff, you shouldn't occupy so many tables.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, freundlicher Empfang, obwohl wir keine Reservierung vorgenommen haben und mit Kindern da waren. Freundlich auch gegenüber Kindern. Hochstühle vorhanden. Service auch gut. Essen sehr lecker und Portionen auch gut. Preis-/Leistung sehr gut.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal beim Weick und sind aufgrund der guten Empfehlungen dort hingegangen. Das Restaurant liegt am Ortseingang von Kallstadt mit ausreichend Parkplätzen z. B. entlang der Straße. Das Restaurant macht einen super Eindruck: wohl komplett neu hergestellt/renoviert und mit modernem und hellen Erscheinungsbild. Der regionale Bezug und auch zu den Wildgerichten wird über Bilder/Geweihe gesichert. Die Karte ist echt toll: von Regionalem, über Fisch und Wild, Vegetarisches und auch leckere Schmankerl ist für Jeden etwas dabei. Auch die Getränkekarte ist sehr umfangreich. Die Bestellung lief zügig und auch die Getränke und später das Essen kamen zeitnah. Alle Speisen waren wirklich gut abgeschmeckt und auch optisch schön angerichtet...soweit so gut. Aber in 2 h im Restaurant wurden wir vom Service ignoriert: weder konnten wir Getränke nachbestellen noch gab es eine Chance einen Nachtisch zu bestellen. Auch das Bezahlen hat sich ähnlich schwierig gestaltet; der Herr vom Service hatte einfach kein Auge/Ohr für uns! Natürlich hätten wir uns an der Theke melden können...aber ein guter Kundenservice sieht halt anders aus!

Planlos, trotz Reservierung, unfreundlicher Empfang, keine schöne Atmosphäre, Essen mittelmäßig. Ich koche besser. Wir werden uns zukünftig anderweitig orientieren.

Wie schon vor 2 Jahren. Wieder sehr leckere Gans sowie Knödel und Rotkraut serviert bekommen. Die Maronen und das Füllsel waren auch nicht zu verachten. Bedienung ausgesprochen nett und aufmerksam aber nicht Aufdringlich. So wie es sein soll.

Immer freundlich, immer gutes Essen, nettes Ambiente. Schon seit Jahren gehen wir gerne als Familie zusammen dort hin. 1 A Preis- Leistungsverhältnis

Trotz eines ausgebuchten Restaurants wurden wir sehr freundlich und perfekt bedient. Die auf den Punkt gebratene Gans wurde am Tisch tranchiert und hat zusammen mit zarten Kartoffelknödeln, Maronen und (etwas zu lange gekochtem) Rotkraut gut geschmeckt. Ich persönlich hätte mir noch etwas mehr Majoran, Pfeffer und Salz an der Gans gewünscht, aber das ist natürlich Geschmackssache. Eine sehr gute Weinempfehlung, ein milder Obstbrand und ein kräftiger Kaffee rundeten das Essen wunderbar ab. Hier werden wir gerne wieder einkehren.

Essen ist gut,aber wie sich die Juniorchefin gegenüber manchen Mitarbeitern verhält,das ist ganz weit weg von Empathie und Rücksicht,sondern eher zu vergleichen mit nem Elefant im Porzellanladen🤷ich rate jedem der darüber nachdenkt dort anzufangen zu arbeiten,gründlich darüber nachzudenken ob man sich das geben möchte.

Wir waren in einer kleinen Gruppe in den Weik Winzerstuben zum Gansessen. Vorweggesagt: das war ein Genuss PUR. 1. Die freundlichen Bedienungen 2. Das wundervolle Essen Der Abend war lange im Voraus geplant und der Tisch wurde rechtzeitig reserviert. Wir haben den Abend mit einem Haus-Sekt begonnen, und sind dann auf einen leckeren Weißwein umgestiegen. Zur Gans gab´s dann einen Rotwein. Wir sind den Weinempfehlungen des Hauses gefolgt, was sich am Ende als wirklich genussvoll und perfekt gezeigt hat. Zunächst gab es zum Weißwein ein herrliches Brot, mit Gänseschmalz zur perfekten Einstimmung. Die Gans wurde direkt am Tisch fachmännisch zerlegt und das Gänsefleisch wurde auf einem Vorlegeteller einschließlich der Gänseschlegel aufgebahrt. Das war eine Augenweide! und eine perfekte Vorfreude auf die Gans. Wir haben in vollen Zügen die perfekt zubereitete Gans genossen. Nach ein paar Flaschen Wein haben wir beschlossen, einen solchen Abend mit einem so herrlich geschmackvollem und opulentem Essen zu wiederholen. Also wir kommen wieder! und das Bald. Die Fahrt in die Pfalz hat sich mehr als gelohnt.

Ich war unter der Woche mit meinen Freundinnen dort, zwecks Geburtstagessen. Das Ambiente ist einladend, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Auswahl an ausgefallenen pfälzischen Gerichten ist übersichtlich, auch vegetarisches ist dort zu finden. Bei Nachfragen zum Wein sind Kellner, als auch der zuvorkommende Chef, jederzeit greifbar und haben Ahnung (was meiner Erfahrung nach nicht oft der Fall ist). Die Dessert Karte ist sehr zu empfehlen! Konnten uns nicht entscheiden und haben auf Wunsch eine Platte von Allem zusammen gestellt bekommen. Mega ! Danke für den schönen Abend

Leider seit dem Wechsel in der Leitung nicht mehr auf dem gewohnten Niveau. Musste dem Kellner die Karte vorlesen um mein Gericht vollständig zu erhalten. Auch der Koch musste die Karte nochmal studieren. Leider bekam ich trotzdem mein Herbstgemüse zu den Hirschmedallions nicht und stattdessen mit "Herbstgemüse ist aus" eine Schüssel mit Tiefkühlgemüse aus dem Beutel vorgesetzt. Das Mobiliar ist abgenutzt, man bekommt durchweichte und zerfledderte Bierdeckel auf den Tisch geworfen. Der neue Chef schleicht lustlos im Gastraum umher anstatt beim überforderten Service mit anzupacken. Zum Glück gibt es in Kallstadt genügend Alternativen...

Super nette Bedienung und leckeres regionales Essen!

Schönes Restaurant an der Weinstraße in Kallstadt, Pfälzer Küche , Pfälzer Wein, sehr guter Service, Küche super, Ambiente stillvoll.

Die Eisschokolafe war sauer und der neue Wein trüb und ebenfalls sauer….. sehr schade, weil der Biergarten echt schön ist! Zwar hat die Bedienung sehr freundlich die saure Trinkschokolade zurückgenommen und frisch gemacht, aber leider hat es den Nachmittag dadurch verdorben :(

Essen sehr gut, Ambiente gemütlich. Personal z. Teil überlastet. Die Wirtin leider sehr unhöflich und unprofessionell.Wir werden das Lokal b a.w. meiden. Schade! So vergrault man gut zahlende Gäste. Mein Tipp: Sie sollten sich unbedingt einen abschliessbaren Schrank für ihre Wildkonserven kaufen!! Verhindert fatale " Missverständnisse".
