We always enjoy being here. Great “Bavarian” cuisine. Well, there is also a touch of “Austrian” there. Great, quick and friendly staff. No matter how many people you are there with, the food is served at the same time. This makes eating out really fun

3 euros for a supplement change, is that still possible????

A really nice inn with flair. Not ChiChi but down-to-earth, cozy. Service quick and friendly. The white sausage and pretzels were super good. We'd love to come back.

This will be difficult for me now, as I have often stopped by the Huber before. Today I was out and about with my best friend in Freising and we needed something to snack on. I had the cordon bleu with fried potatoes and a side salad, she had the currywurst. It's a shame because the last few times the food was really good! The spaetzle in particular “rocked”, if I can put it that way. Today several things went wrong. The fried potatoes were soggy, dripping with fat, not crispy, and the spring onions were burnt in places. The cordon bleu wasn't cooked through in the middle, the cheese tasted very synthetic and the breading wasn't crispy but juicy and there was a lack of salt and pepper everywhere. The Cordon Bleu ate like a sponge. I don't know that about Huber. I have to be very critical when it comes to salad. The lettuce leaves were wilted in places, the red onion was spicy like a butcher's onion, although it should have been rather sweet. Of particular note were the tomato slices, which for some reason tasted like fried fish. The currywurst was lukewarm, the ketchup curry sauce was cold and the fries were not crispy, but rather on the greasy side. No freshly filled deep fryer was used here. I wouldn't go into so much detail if it were about a snack bar at the train station that churns out its fast food in unison. My dish cost a hefty 21 euros. We will remain loyal to the inn. Hopefully they just had a bad day today!

Nach langen sind wir wieder zum Essen zum Huberwirt gegangen.Wir bestellten aus der Mittagskarte Wienerschnitzel und Schaschliktopf mit Pommes.Nach 3min.kam das Wienerschnitzel kann mir keiner erzählen dass das frisch zubereitet ist in 3min. Der Schaschliktopf kam mit zermanschten Pommes in einem Topf unmöglich.Ich schaute mich in der Wirtschaft um überall Spinnweben und total schmuddelig.Macht hier keiner sauber? Dann besuchte ich die Toiletten ein Wahnsinn von 4 Pissuare waren 3 defekt die Toilette genauso ungepflegt wie die Wirtschaft. Zusammenfassend zu teuer für Fertiggerichte und ungepflegt. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!!!

Good food. Reasonable prices. For the friendly staff. Centrally located in Freising. In winter it could be heated with more.

The cordon bleu with cranberries and fried potatoes was delicious. The naturally cloudy beer we ordered is so delicious that even the (alcohol?) sick (tribe?) guests reach over the table and want to snatch the beer away from you. Something like that shouldn't be tolerated and that's why there is a star deduction.

Wir waren als Familie mit Besuch aus Amerika zum essen dort. Es ist wohl ein Fehler schon bei der Reservierung aufgetreten. Wir waren 10 Personen hatten auch für diese reserviert und wurden an einen Tisch für 6 platziert. Der Kellner den wie auf das Problem angesprochen hatten ,hat sehr unfreundlich reagiert. Wir wurden dann umgesetzt und ab dann eigentlich mehr oder weniger ignoriert. Es wurde ein Essen vergessen und auf Getränkebestellungen wenig Wert gelegt. Das Essen war mittelmäßig bis schlecht. Ich war zuerst begeistert weil es eine relativ große Auswahl für Vegetarier gibt. Ich bestellte mir ein Rösti mit Blattspinat und Spiegelei. Der Spinat und das Ei waren ok. Der Rösti hat vor Fett getrieft.Das war ungenießbar. Der Rest war auch nicht froh über das essen. Wir werden da nicht mehr hin gehen

Unfortunately you have to give at least one star here, even though this restaurant doesn't deserve any stars. The restaurant appears dirty and run down in detail. In addition, it is way overpriced for this quality. The food consists more of ready meals and the staff is unfriendly and inattentive. When we tried to order drinks for the second time, the waiter looked at us, ignored us and turned his attention to the next table. This restaurant is definitely not recommended!

Keinen Besuch wert und absolute Katastrophe!!! Leider muss man hier zwangsläufig mindestens einen Punkt vergeben, obwohl dieses Restaurant keinen Punkt verdient hat. Das Restaurant wirkt im Detail schmutzig und heruntergekommen. Darüber hinaus ist es preislich für diese Qualität viel zu überteuert. Das Essen besteht eher aus Fertiggerichten und das Personal ist unfreundlich und unaufmerksam. Als wir zum zweiten Mal Getränke bestellen wollten, schaute uns der Kellner an, ignorierte uns und widmete seine Aufmerksamkeit dem Nachbartisch. Dieses Restaurant ist auf keinen Fall zu empfehlen!

Great food, beautiful restaurant, and fabulous vibes. The waiters were really good. The had English menus which was nice for me. The age of the restaurant and the amount of famous people who had been there was amazing to me. Our hotel recommended this place and they were right! We were so happy with our dinner and drinks here. We had trout, perch, a bottle of Chardonnay and these apricot dumplings that were to die for.

Food was very good. The price is still okay. Service was friendly. We just froze all evening. Freezing temperatures outside and no heating inside. Many guests sat there with winter jackets. Unfortunately, the waitress can't turn on the heating; supposedly only the boss can do that.

I had a vegan burget. In my opinion the patty was frozen. The service is very good and the atmosphere is rustic.

Very good food with really large portions, excellent service and very good beer selection. The insider tip is the naturally cloudy Jägerbier. We enjoy being here with family and visitors.

We eat here every time we come to the Munich area and are always happy with everything! This time was no different! Our last night in Germany before departing the next day back to the US and we brought friends as well. We all loved our food! It was the duck special night and that's what our friends ordered and found the meal to be delicious. We ordered a schnitzel and rump steak and as always found them delicious! Never disappoints!

I only went to Weißbräu Huber with my children because a child needed a toilet. In front of the entrance it was written: "Children's punch for children €2.50 and for adults €4". Since I had previously been to the Freising Christmas market with the children and the children's punch there cost €4, I had refrained from buying some there, but the offer at Weißbräu Huber seemed so fair to me that we sat down. Since the menu also contains a very extensive children's section, I also ordered a portion of fries for each of the children for €3.30. The portion was a bit small, but when we paid the friendly waiter said: "So, three children's punch and a mulled wine makes 13€." When I said: "And the fries too." said the waiter: "No, they're on the house this time." When I asked, “Why?” he said: "Because we are a child-friendly inn."

The restaurant was surprising. The atmosphere was that of a tavern, but with a modern feel. The service was very accommodating and friendly. The innkeepers are restaurateurs who know their job! Can only be recommended! There aren't many good middle-class taverns with good food anyway!

Overcrowded! Overpriced! The soul has been taken away from the beautiful guest room!! Sad ! Grandmother is spinning in her grave! Simple dish modifications cost a flat rate of €3. Sad

That was a feast. The innkeeper could already tell that, in addition to eating, I was primarily interested in drinking and provided me with numerous delicious beer creations. The fries took a bit of time - but the friendly host made up for this shortcoming, which was also due to the high number of visitors, with his wonderfully characterful manner! That's how it works!

Great place and great staff. Handled my group of 22 women with fun and ease! Food was terrific and they served oversized portions. You can’t go wrong here!

The staff is absolutely amazing. Super friendly, quick and attentive. The food is so delicious. We came quite spontaneously with 28 people and everything went great. We're going back the next evening.

The two of us were there for dinner today, we were greeted immediately and friendly by a waiter, we ate ox schnitzel and boiled beef, the portions were plentiful and tasted excellent. The waiter was always ready and served us very friendly. We have read the other reviews and can give our five stars with a clear conscience!

This was a recommend beer/ food hall. Wow this place was so busy, we had no reservations they had us sit upstairs which was super bust too. No big deal the service was good/great for how busy it was. The Food was awesome traditional german food. Schnitzel veal, goulash, some pork dish and the salad. Not one thing bad.

Good food, but priced high. A few faux pas from the waiter without consulting each other (one waiter takes the sauce away from the table and says it belongs to another dish, the next waiter then takes it back again, missing cutlery at the table, etc. If you want your dish with dumplings instead of fried potatoes, you pay €3 extra, supposedly a special offer. A disgrace in my opinion. The food was otherwise solid, but nothing exceptional. Nice, rustic atmosphere. Wouldn't come back though

Food was good but did not match the advertising flyer. Service was ok until the waiter very strongly suggested that a tip be added to the card!

Unfortunately, the food has really declined in recent years. Weisbräu Huber was always worth a visit (burger day, etc.), but not anymore. Way too expensive for what you get. You have the feeling that the majority of it only comes from the “packerl”. Very unfortunate. Of course, the waitresses are still very friendly and great. They can't do anything about it :)

52€ for the cat!! We have to EXACTLY confirm Hartmut Schille’s review. We were also really looking forward to a delicious Bavarian roast. He crunched zero. The sauce is bitter. The dumplings are a farce. The bread dumpling is roughly comparable in consistency to a golf ball, the potato dumpling is strangely yellow and somehow both overcooked and raw. We were so angry, we could cry. Positive: Children under 5 pay nothing for dumplings/spätzle with sauce. Cool thing. (Unfortunately neither dumpling nor sauce tasted good.) P.S.: ...and how you can mess up liver loaf with potato salad is still a mystery to us... For the sake of our children, cannabis is banned in the entire restaurant and garden area. A classic of Bavarian logic. Of course, you are only allowed to drink and smoke cigarettes in the presence of children; direct consumption of these substances is also legally legal for minors. After all, cannabis is still not brokoli, but I think only Bavarians understand that. After discovering this absolutely meaningless clue, food was saved.

Nice ambience and super friendly service - but: unfortunately, the bad habit has also taken hold here that (at least parts of) are bought as a ready-made meal and just warmed up. So today with a roast pork: sauce and meat good - dumplings really terrible. The waitress said that the potato dumplings were purchased and the bread dumplings were homemade. Both variants are really underground. And my wife's pumpkin ravioli also had a strong suspicion that it wasn't made in-house (and if so, then it was bland). Both dishes around € 18,-. The waitress couldn't help it and, as I said, was very friendly - it just doesn't help because it didn't taste good and we don't go there anymore. Light beer from the Freisinger Brauhaus *****

The place itself is very beautiful, the food is of excellent quality and the service is also excellent. The only reason I only gave it 3 stars is because the door was open during the entire service. My friend had to eat with her jacket on and that is unacceptable.

We were here today with 9 people. The staff is friendly and attentive. A quick saying every now and then contributes to the hospitality and coziness. The food we ordered arrived quickly, all at the right time. And most importantly, it was very, very tasty. This Würzhaus can be recommended 1000%. I'd love to come back.

I can still rave about this after 3 weeks, there was a schnitzel with fries, like in a fairy tale. Just visit the restaurant. You will be served quickly and there is no shortage of friendliness. Big PRAISE.

We had trout and a white sausage and had to wait forever for the food. The trout was probably frozen food and the white sausage had been in the water for so long that it no longer tasted like anything. Too bad.

We weren't here at a "meal time", but the roast pork we ordered could still have been served hot. Otherwise: rustic ambience, tasty wheat! Unfortunately unkempt men's toilet.

Reliable beergarden, very central, fair prices, typical local beers, also some of the longest opening hours in the whole City. When everything Else is closed, this is one of the last resorts. Only downside is the staff which is often quite rude and careless.

Nice place for Sunday lunch. It is possible to eat outside on warm days. Tasty food, nice service. I recommend.

A very traditional Bavarian restaurant with a lot of historical pictures put up on the walls. Beautiful atmosphere in the evenings and the space outside was crowded, everyone preferring to sit outside. Serving traditional Bavarian food and drinks, it was a wonderful evening I spent there! Recommend any time to those who like good ambience, history and want a taste of genuine Bavaria ......

Have been there several times. Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. Mushroom with scrambled eggs...absolutely unseasoned and watery. I also noticed that other guests also complained. If things get better then definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant has a nice outdoor area, but is very dark inside. There are no parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. The prices were okay: Light wheat beer 0.5 l €4.70 Rhubarb spritzer 4.50 Swiss sausage salad €13.30 Crusty roast €17.70 The service on the evening of May 16th It was friendly and tasted good too. Conclusion: come on!

Typical German, like you see in movies... even the staff are really worn-out waiters from the past. Enjoyed the Strammer Huber...it was really nice to experience this. So back in time.

Brewery in the center of Freising with typical Bavarian dishes and excellent beer. Friendly and helpful staff. Located in a pleasant little square with many outdoor tables. Adequate prices.

Duck and steak were on offer on the daily menu and the decision was right to take the steak. A few meters from the main street, but quietly located in the 2nd row, a pub garden with courteous waiters.

Came hungry 🤤 and left hungry 🤤. I ordered Gordon Blue, normally it comes with salad, potatoes, salad, fried potatoes etc. - OK I ask the waiter is it possible to have ONLY the Gordon Blue without anything but ONLY with pure potatoes, and he says ok then you have to pay 3 euros more, I thought ok but why would I only want other side dishes instead of what was on these plates This includes the waiter saying 3.- Euro Plus, I said ok and still when I got the plate I was left hungry, small portion and I think it's a catastrophe for this price 22.10 plus 3.- for pure potatoes, I visit this restaurant Always in August for 13 years and it's just expensive and the portions are small Never again, greetings JSS

Very fun entertainment, but the rum steaks [Tuesday's rum steak day] weren't a hit. My wife couldn't cut the meat. The Huber beer is delicious.

I've been a guest here for years. Very tasty Wiess beer and the waiters are always very courteous. Food also good, traditional, large portions. What more do you want?

Unfortunately it's no longer as comfortable as it used to be. Three different waiters asked us what we wanted, but none of them brought anything. Lack of interest in the guest.

Stay was ok, now not exceptional. Portion sizes were commensurate with the price. However, there was no extreme feeling of satiety afterwards, there was room for improvement. Ambience: We sat outside on wooden chairs at wooden tables. Rustic.
