Excellent Peruvian food, everything was perfect!

I ordered yuquitas a la huancaína, ají de gallina, and a pisco sour. The service was incredibly slow. The food took forever to arrive, and when we asked for the bill, it took an even longer to be paid. The yuquitas a la huancaína were served with a sauce that wasn't actually huancaína. The ají de gallina barely tasted of ají amarillo, and I'm not sure if the pisco sour even contained pisco. A rather disappointing experience for a Peruvian looking for Peruvian food abroad. The cheapest main course costs €19.50; at those prices, the food should be of much better quality.

Too expensive and no service. We had a table for four at 8 pm on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. Our first drinks and the three appetizers we ordered arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The main courses arrived at 9:45 pm. My meal, rice with beef and some greens, lacked any seasoning whatsoever. The other dishes didn't exactly inspire enthusiasm either. As they say, hunger makes you eat. The entire time, our empty glasses from our first drinks weren't cleared away, let alone asked if we wanted anything else. We would have liked to. There was no indication that the food would take longer to prepare, although 90 minutes is simply unacceptable. We are often in Munich; our son lives a few doors down. We won't be eating Peruvian food again. We'd rather go to Il Galeone across the street; the service and prices there are much better.

Tried Peruvian cuisine for the first time and was delighted. It was very delicious and served with exquisite detail. I'd love to come back.

Typical Peruvian food with a good flavor. The grilled chicken they offer on Sundays was also worth a visit. I wish they'd play Peruvian Creole music to make me feel more at home.

Not just good food, an experience

We went to wari-ke and had a lovely experience. The card offers some piscos to start with. We tried a few dishes, among which we really liked the ceviche de pulpo and the antichucos de Corazon. The Ceviche tasted fresh and tangy and the hearts were cooked on point when they arrived with a nice chewy texture.

Cozy place, amazing decor, friendly staff and fresh and tasty food! The portions are rather small, but the rich aromatic taste covers for this.

Service was very good, ambiance OK, food disappointing. Unfortunately, the special octopus was so tough that it was almost impossible to cut with a regular knife.

Peruvian specialties were deliciously prepared. They were also visually stunning. The pisco was absolutely fantastic, just as it should be. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back.

I arrived at 8:15 p.m. and left at 9:40 p.m. without eating a single plate of food. They told me they lost the ticket with my order, and I had to leave without eating. I'm not coming back.

Yesterday was my first dinner at Wari-ke. The place was packed, which made the place quite loud. The service never really brought what was ordered; a small glass of wine turned into a large one, and one espresso turned into two. That's a good way to generate revenue. Although the prices are already on the high side. The food was generally good, but I had a small piece of metal—from a steel sponge—in my food. This was simply dismissed, with no apology or anything. So, I won't be returning again.

Very tasty, but a little expensive in comparison

We spontaneously reserved a table for the evening. The staff and the ambiance made us feel like we were far away from Munich, which we really enjoyed. The food was also very tasty. Overall, a well-rounded experience. Finally, a restaurant where people talk a lot and laugh loudly.

Very good Peruvian food. Here, you'll find all traditional dishes served by Peruvian staff, who prefer to speak Sapnish, further enhancing the atmosphere. The only downside was the rather long wait times for the food. However, if you have time and aren't feeling ravenous, you'll find authentic Peruvian food here.

I ate very tasty “Lomo Saltado” and drank a slightly spicy “Amazonas”. Also very friendly, attentive staff. => absolutely recommended.

The best ceviche in town! We had Pisco Sours, the Ceviche Mixto and the Lomo Saltado as well as the dessert platter. In addition to the classic version, the Piscis is also available as a strawberry or passion fruit version and they are all super tasty. When I eat, I always choose the Ceviche Mixto. The leche de tigre is the best in the city, the sweet potato puree balances the spiciness and sourness perfectly. The fish and seafood are always buttery tender. The main course portion is large enough and will definitely fill you up. My husband likes the Lomo Saltado - it has a lot of flavor and fresh, crispy cassava fries. It was a great evening again, we are already looking forward to the next time.

Really good authentic food. The Ceviche was excellent, really fresh and tasty. We ordered roasted chicken, and the portiin was huge. The owner came to greet us. I highly recommend it.

We ate at Wari-ke on the recommendation of one of my Peruvian employees. Super nice boss, great restaurant, food is a dream. I can only recommend Ceviche to anyone who loves Peruvian cuisine or wants to try it.

This was my first time dining at a Peruvian restaurant, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. I love Pisco Sours, and now I've tried the food. The food was excellent; the octopus was excellent, and the onions in lime juice with chili were fantastic. By the way, the Pisco here is one of the best I've ever tasted.

We had the pleasure of visiting Wari-Ke Restaurant and it was a wonderful experience! The traditional Peruvian ambience creates a welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for a cozy evening. The service was extremely attentive and friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The dishes were simply fantastic! We can particularly recommend the fish and lamb dishes, which are prepared with a lot of love. The vegetarian options are also very tasty and offer a great selection. The cocktails were also a highlight – fresh and delicious! We can only warmly recommend Wari-Ke and are already looking forward to our next visit!

You just don't get what you want for the price. It tastes a little below average and is expensive. But the waitresses are very nice and the atmosphere is also nice and cozy.

Bosses make a mess, they give out a lot of money, no one, it was checked, no one, thank you, or will they come back soon, they took the money without a thank you, without empathy, but the food was good, but not what SOUTH AMERICAS were looking for.

We enjoyed excellent, tasty Peruvian dishes at Wari-ke, which were new to us and immediately impressed us. We liked not only the high quality but also the beautiful presentation. The service was quick, friendly and accommodating. The ambience is fantastically beautiful - you feel like you're on vacation in Peru. We'll be back!

We had the New Year's Eve menu, everything was delicious. Service was very nice, quick and attentive. Live music, party atmosphere, everything was relaxed. We felt very comfortable. We would love to come back. Keep it up in 2025🥂🍀👍🏻

Was there yesterday on New Year's Eve. Perfect New Year's Eve menu! Not too little, not too expensive. (You have to say, quality costs something - here the price/performance is simply perfect!!!) Hardly any waiting time for food or drinks. I'd say it feels like you're eating with family rather than in a restaurant. Hospitality is very important here. Very nice atmosphere with excellent staff. On your next visit to Munich - gladly again! (The price shown refers to a 4-course menu.)

Die Bedienung war super nett! Und das Essen so gut wie in Peru! Ceviche, Anticuchos, Lomo, Aji de Gallina: if there are alles and viel zu lecker. It's lohnt sich total! 10/10 The attention was phenomenal!! And the food was too delicious! We went in a group of only Peruvians and we just licked our lips! 100% recommended

Authentic Peruvian food in Munich. The price is also completely okay.

Be careful with fish dishes!!!! With Chicharrón de pescado, several huge bones or other skeletal parts of the fish were still under the breading, so you couldn't see them. Unfortunately, when I bit into it, a fairly large triangular piece got stuck between my teeth and the tip dug into the gum above. I don't want to report on the shock and pain here, you can easily imagine it yourself... I struggled for about half an hour to get the thing out again. We carefully found even more very large bones in the remaining pieces. My son then complained to the waitress and showed one of the pieces on the plate, but no one was interested. Luckily nothing more happened, you can choke on something like that if things go wrong.

There were some Spanish speaking people there (good sign? 😁). The “Aji de Gallina” (chicken in chili parmesan sauce with rice and potatoes was super tasty and unlike anything I've tried before! The fried rice with beef, chicken and gambas was a little similar to Asian fried rice, but Less greasy. Music was thematically appropriate in Spanish.

But I can't ask for being super happy with the food 😊

Grossartige peruanische Küche! Causa, Cebiche, Anticucho, Arroz con marisco, Lomo saltado alles sehr gut mit viel Liebe und original peruanischen Zutaten zubereitet. Gute Stimmung mit teilweise musikalischer Begleitung. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Der Service war früher schneller, heute muss man z.T. schon etwas länger warten. Ansonsten alles top

All Peruvian “classics” on the menu that taste just as you would expect. The chef is Peruvian. Tip: Cicha Morada is available on the weekend. Anyone who knows it knows it. If you don't know it, you should try it

All very delicious, I recommend trying the Anticuchos, the Cebiche, not to mention…. Delicious! Seasoned like in Peru Nice place and good service. You definitely have to go!!

We went as a big group in the summer and the outdoor seating was great. Lots of shade and privacy from the street. The food was also fresh and tasty. I cannot comment on authenticity but we were all happy with our food. A bit pricey but I think it's comparable to other Peruvian restaurants in the city. Would recommend the fruit based Pisco Sours.

Our main courses tasted good and were nicely presented. Unfortunately, the portion sizes are very poor and in no way justify the high price. The service is nice, but too much is forgotten. You expect more from a higher priced restaurant. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not right. Too bad!

Such a gem in Munich. The vibe is great, very casual feeling, but the quality of the food is great. Pisco Sour, Lomo Saltado, and Classic Ceviche are very authentic. We also tried the Octopus special which was cooked perfectly and had really nice sauces. The ingredients overall are high quality and the price is good for what you get. We’ll be back to try the other ceviches and Aji de Gallina (and for the Lomo Saltado, it’s a personal favorite 💯) Highly recommend is you’re a fan of Peruvian cuisine or looking to try something new!

As a Peruvian sadly not worth it , far better options in Munich. The price was ok but some dishes were a far cry from traditional Peruvian recipes. I know these are doable in Europe as other restaurants pull them off nicely. Staff was friendly A huge plus : the food is made fresh and the ceviche was very good

What a tasty place, I will come back. We made a late reservation using an app (I recommend to make the reservation min 1h before not 30 min before). The best place for peruvian food in Munich. I am Venezuelan and I was transported to south america with the taste of that food. Anticuchos and Ceviche is my recommendations.

We can especially recommend all types of meat dishes: lomo saltado or anticuchos that are always made to perfection! In addition, seafood dishes are always fresh and generously served. Very tasty food and nice atmosphere, staff very friendly. We ate Ceviche Classico, Tiradito de Salmón (salmon), Causa de pollo (my favorite meal with the lomo saltado on the side). For a perfect ending, the dessert creations. We come here regularly and enjoy the delicious food and the beautiful ambience. Another tip from me: you should try the strawberry pisco sour.

Last Sunday we (a group of 7 people: 4 adults and 3 small children) went to this nice restaurant and enjoyed a really good time here. The taste of the food was extremely good and its presentation was also nice, as of a gourmet restaurant (but far away the portion size and price). The atmosphere was also cozy and it make you feel like in Peru. You must not forget to ask for a Maracuja Pisco Sour. You will not regret it at all!

Very tasty food (Pollo a la brasa,Causa a cevichada, adobo de cervo), the Pisco Sour cocktails are one of the best in the city (please serve them a little cooler, then they are perfect) and the service is very friendly and helpful! The very stylishly prepared food took a little time, but the waiter told us in advance and it was fine. And a big compliment to the barman... because the light, fresh beer came to the table at the optimal temperature, that was really a pleasure for me:).. and the day was a top-class music event in the evening, the perfect evening for me and my wife

It's not our case. The ambience is more like a karaoke bar. But that's a matter of taste. The prices are very ambitious, but unfortunately expectations are not met in terms of appearance and taste. The drinks are also as expensive as at Marienplatz, but you're in Neuhausen. We tried it and it stays that way also.

Hier kann man einen entspannten Abend zu zweit oder als Gruppe verbringen. Das Essen (heute aßen wir Pollo abrasa, das beste Hähnchen Münchens) und der Service hat uns sehr überzeugt. Das Restaurant liegt sehr zentral und ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sehr gut zu erreichen.

The Pisco Sour was good. The yucas could have been fresher, it missed the flavour. The Lomo Saltado was okay but the ingredients like the potatoes and tomatoes were a little over cooked and the meat could have been better quality.

The staff was receptive and open to explain what the ingredients in Peruvian food are. You definitely get the Peruvian experience, especially from the interior, music & the people dining. Almost like being in Lima!

Peruvian food, went with a couple of friends from South America. Mixed seviche, being main dish of traditional cuisine was ordered by - it had refreshing notes harmonized with coconut milk and tasted quite good, although fish was not soft enough and too chewy for my taste. Sadly, only Chardonnay among white wines was available per glass. Considering fish dish and a glass + tips prices are on a higher end with 40 EUR pro person. Smaller property with less than 10 tables, but looks quite cosy and gives you „home“ vibes. Fits for a „different cuisines“ discovery dinners.
