I've been here several times and have never been disappointed

Experience Wannsee from a different perspective, great view. Definitely worth seeing. Very nice service and friendly. Prices very reasonable for such a place.

The pizza 🍕 and cake that were odered were delicious. When I visit Germany again I will definitely recommend it. The mandel Marzipan cake was my favourite one.

5 stars because the food was delicious and the service was also very good. Some of the comments complaining about the service are incomprehensible. Our waitress and obviously the others took very good care of everyone and always asked if everything was okay. Prices are above average, of course, but you also pay for the view, which is also beautiful. Absolutely recommended!

Not cheap, but fantastic location high above Wannsee with a great view over Wannsee and Havel. Service was nice, food is good. Pizza very tasty. There is also a small beer garden in summer with drinks, cakes and tarte flambées. Parking spaces are available. sufficiently available.

The Wannsee terraces are divided into 2 areas: first class, where you sit neatly and are served. Then 2nd class next door, where you sit on garden furniture. The atmosphere is absolutely great. You sit slightly elevated and have a fantastic view of Lake Wannsee. A true dream. However, the prices are accordingly. Even in second class with self-service, I paid 9 euros for a piece of cake and coffee in a paper cup. That doesn't work at all. I don't want to know how much a hot meal in first class would cost me. Of course the audience is accordingly. A touch of Sylt. The good: everything is very civilized. And best of all: a place that is second to none. Definitely worth a visit. But certainly not every weekend

Beautiful view and great ambience

Lage im Sommer super - das war es dann aber schon. Trotz bestätigter Reservierung 25 Minuten gewartet - ok. Eine Gruppe von 5 Menschen die lautstark in der Schlange diskutierten, dass sie nicht reserviert hätten, es jetzt einfach behaupten würden, wurden mit Handschlag vom Manager ? begrüßt vorgezogen- zu uns Wartenden . sagten sie „ so macht man das halt in München“. Als ich den Manager dazu zur Rede stellen wollte reagiert er aggressiv - wo denn das Problem sei. Eine nette Angestellte hat uns denn zum Tisch gebracht. Der anschließende Cremant musste leider zurück da lauwarm. Mein Essen war gut - zwar war die Beilage aus, aber ok. Das Essen meines Mannes ungenießbar. Die Lage hat uns dieses Mal ein letztes Mal an diesen Ort gebracht. Das nach meiner Meinung unseriöse Verhalten des Managers und die nicht gute Qualität der Speisen und teilweise Getränke werden uns diesen Ort nicht wieder aufsuchen lassen. Anstatt auf unseriöse Gäste zu setzen, sollte man lieber versuchen Berliner Stammgäste zu halten. Einziges Lob an die wirklich liebe Bedienung, die freundlich und zuvorkommend war. Für den warmen Cremant und die nicht leckeren Speisen kann sie nichts.

A great place with fantastic views and a lovely ambience. The food was also good, the waiters friendly; Unfortunately the calculation wasn't quite right. We still wanted to plan a larger celebration there with over 40 guests. Even though we looked at it again on weekdays with an appointment, there was never an offer or a rejection. They really don't need it anymore. Very disappointing.

We were in the beer garden, not in the restaurant. The view is fantastic, there is a stand selling various drinks and tarte flambée. Tarte flambée from €13, draft beer 0.4 L for €4, 0.5 L for €5.

We were in the beer garden with the street food cart. The location is really fantastic, especially in the front row. The offer and service are rather rudimentary and overpriced. You wait up to 45 minutes for a salad. 5.- EU you have to want to pay for an apple spritzer.

ich denke man sollte hier differenzieren: es gibt das eigentliche Restaurant (das wir nicht besucht haben) und den Biergartenbereich, wo wir nach einer längeren Wanderung auf ein Getränk eingekehrt sind. Wir haben die wirklich schöne Aussicht sehr genossen, auch die Getränkepreise sind OK. Wir würden hier auch mal das Restaurant ausprobieren.

I celebrated my birthday here with friends. The food and wine were so delicious...The lady who served us was very friendly...Well and the view of the Wannsee was so beautiful...We will definitely come back. I can only recommend a visit there...

I had spagetti carbonara for dinner, not recommended. The ham in the meal was way too big. Unfortunately it wasn't a real carbonara, it tasted like cream. The view of Wannsee is amazing!

We came to the Wannsseeterrassen on August 27, 2024 to drink coffee. At reception we were asked if we would like to eat. When we asked for coffee and cake, we were told that the cake had been frozen since Saturday (?) and that they wouldn't sell it to us. In addition, up to EUR 30, only cash payment. When they brought us the cappuccino I asked how it would be with ice cream? On top of that: we are a restaurant so there is no ice cream! Later napkins different waiters several times different cakes? An impossible behavior in such a great location. The first time this happened to us in the Wannsee terraces. Definitely the last visit.

We were just in the beer garden and wanted to have a little something to eat and drink. The prices are high but you probably pay for the view ;-) and it is really beautiful. Unfortunately the staff at the stand wasn't very friendly. When we ordered the tarte flambée we were told there would be a wait of around 20 minutes. After 40 minutes we asked and were simply told that other people had to wait too. After 1 hour 10 minutes he came. The taste is okay but definitely not worth the price of €14 (ready-made dough). We can't explain why it took so long because the beer garden really wasn't full...

The older black haired waitress was very rude. She served the wrong drinks and acted like it wasn't her fault. After the bill she said it was too little tip. The food was ok, the location was great and the view too. If it weren't for this waitress I would even come back.

There is a nice atmosphere outside, if you can ignore the dirty slope. Better not to look down. Unfortunately, inside it feels like a canteen. Depending on what service you get, they are either overwhelmed and ignorant, or warm. Unfortunately for us, we almost weren't served because the waiter ignored us. It's a shame that so much potential is so little used. We won't be coming back.

We had Flammkuchen, Bienenstich, and Aperol - a bit pricey but all excellent, and the view and atmosphere were phenomenal! A guy at the table next to us complained that his Flammkuchen was burnt and called the police… the Flammkuchen looked perfectly done to me, must have been his first day on earth. 👽😅

Den Kommentaren anderer Gäste muss man sich anschließen. Zum einem schlägt einem Arroganz des männlichen Personals entgegen und die Küche steigert den katastrophalen Eindruck ohne Punktabzug ! Einen Cesars-Salat mit völlig falschen Dressing und ohne Bacon zu servieren (die kleine Portion über 20 Euro !) spricht Bände. Das Kalbsschnitzel war sehnig und lauwarm. Auf Kritik war die Bedienung nicht eingestellt. Warum auch. Die Bude war voll und das reicht ja dann auch der Geschäftsleitung. Aber es werden andere Zeiten kommen - hoffentlich. Aber ohne uns. I actually have nothing to complain about if things hadn't come at the end. But first to the overall impression: My uncle turned 90 yesterday and invited 31 guests there. My sister had organized everything and there was a starter, a main course and a dessert and two variants to choose from. Free choice of drinks. For me, everything I chose was super tasty. The organization that we were all able to eat almost at the same time was also great!👍 All in all, great choice. If this hadn't happened: Everyone can imagine that the bill was quite high, but even if the tip was €100 the staff complained that it wouldn't be enough. This is just going too far. Tipping is not a must. It cannot be claimed either!! If I had been the host, I would have taken the hundred euros back from the service person. This is an absolute no go!!!!

Unfortunately, you are not welcome as a guest for cake and ice cream. Conversely, I won't come back for lunch or dinner next time.

Ich kann von diesem Restaurant dringend abraten. Ein Glas mittelmäßiger Wein kann 9,10 Euro theoretisch kosten, aber eine Flasche Tafelwasser (Leitungswasser) darf nicht mit 7,50 Euro berechnet werden. Ich verstehe, dass viele Lokale in der aktuellen Situation ums Überleben kämpfen, aber die Kunden zu veräppeln ist keine langfristige Strategie. Last but not least: was ist das für ein "Service", wenn man eine Flasche Wasser bestellt und nicht mal gefragt wird - was für ein Wasser möchten Sie gerne haben? Mineralwasser still oder mit Kohlensäuren? Man bringt einfach eine Flasche Tafelwasser zum Preis von 7,50 Euro.

The terrace is very nice and the people working are kind but the restaurant itself is judgy—- I walked up to a nearly empty outside area to be turned away… I’m assuming because I just came from the beach and didn’t look like I could afford it or something. Oh well, I wanted a real meal but I’ll settle for flammekuchen

Great ambience, great terrace and everything is even more beautiful in bright sunshine. With a view of the lake, everything tastes good here. We had Big Mama and the four of us were well fed. The service is friendly and Italian. A trip here is definitely worth it.

I, 55, male, was there with my parents on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. because I liked it two years ago because of the magnificent view high above the Wannsee. But now there has apparently been a change of ownership - not for the better. Afternoon! They were busy cleaning the restaurant, the cake display was put somewhere in a corner in the foyer, everything seemed very disorganized (I'm not picky!). Our waiter showed little attention, the view of the Havel is slowly increasing and then the card payment didn't work. For a restaurant with this claim to being “upscale”, that didn’t suit me at all. The cake was good and the view is fantastic, but other than that... Maybe I'll try there again next year. This time I was disappointed.

Great location and delicious food

Total chaos after rain. Despite reservations for 6 people, there was no reservation. We had three wet wooden tables and 6 wet seats and asked for tablecloths. We were told the tablecloths cost 4 euros per person!!!!!. We haven't heard that anywhere. After a long discussion, we wanted to leave the supposedly upscale restaurant. We were given two tablecloths so that we could stay. The visit was totally annoying! We will never go to this restaurant again, even on the occasion of a birthday enter. Because we won't let ourselves be ripped off. The boss who made this order was of course not there!!!.

It is well known that the Wannsee terraces are not cheap, but the prices are so ridiculously high that it is no longer fun. It's a shame that such an "old little spot of Berlin" has to be like that.

After waiting 1.5 hours for 2 tarte flambées, they still weren't ready any time soon. The disappointing thing is that the issue of time was not at all pointed out when ordering. So we asked for our money back and left hungry at 8:30 p.m

You have to pre-order here. Somehow there was chaos among the staff, no one paid any attention to us, a really nice shop. We left again, we were probably not wanted

Just a great place with good food.

I remembered the Wannseeterrassen as a great café with a large selection. Unfortunately, the semi-dark counter with three cakes that didn't look very appetizing was all that was there. Plus water from self-filled bottles with dented, dirty lids and no accomodation for the fact that the waiter dropped a spoonful of chocolate onto my companion's light-colored pants while clearing away. Unfortunately, the only good thing there is the view!

Restaurant with a large terrace in a very nice atmosphere, with a wonderful view over Lake Wannsee. Good food and drink menu. Service friendly. Parking lots available; other places about 50 meters away.

Severely understaffed, long wait times for terrible food. Stay clear.

What will be remembered for a long time is that there was no olive oil and no chilled white wine, and then the pizza oven didn't work. The prices are unreasonable and the service is overloaded. The view isn't everything that makes a restaurant!

-Stale non-carbonated cola -Pizza oven from “Because of the weather” -No white wine (“fridge broken”) -No olive oil (“Was not delivered”) CRAZINESS! Thank you for ruining my grandmother's 82nd birthday. She had been looking forward to a nice evening with the family and we had to break off and leave after drinks given the catastrophic conditions.

The view is beautiful - there is nothing better in Berlin. The rest had light and shadow. Sometimes the waiters were overwhelmed and dismissive, sometimes very friendly. Three of our meals were good, the linguine had no taste. In addition, the scampi was missing - they were probably out, but no one had told us before we ordered - and the dish wasn't cheaper either. The cocktails are very tasty. All in all, overpriced for what you get. But you also pay for the look.

Wonderful ambience with a sunset like you're on vacation, a summer evening in Berlin couldn't be better. The absence of insects was notable. Full capacity is the norm on Saturday evenings in summer. Reservation in advance is essential. It's hard to find a parking space in the complex, but we were able to park easily outside within 500 m. It didn't take long for us to be seated and the food and drink orders were taken very quickly. Drinks and starters came quickly, there was a short break before the main course, but that was completely fine. You could tell that the staff were working under high pressure, but our service was still very professional and friendly. The food was really good, the focaccia came from the large pizza oven that is on the terrace. The pizzas were very good, and the Brandenburger Wollschwein with chanterelles and French fries was absolutely fine. This shows that it is not a gourmet restaurant, but it has a very good middle-class standard, with the focus on Italian dishes. We would like to come back on a similarly beautiful summer evening and reserve in advance next time.

Das Essen würde ich bei 3 Gerichten als unterdurchschnittlich bewerten. Wolfsschwein - Fleisch ohne jeden Eigengeschmack, Wiener Schnitzel - Halber Teller voll Panade, Entrecote - zwei einzelne kleine Stücken Fleisch mit einem Maiskolben bei dem man sich fragt wie man diesen Essen soll. Ein Rose Wein wurde warm gereicht und war nachdem der Kellner ein neues Glas brachte war der Wein immer noch warm. Die Kellner sind bemüht, aber hier stimmt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht mehr.

Underground. Such a beautiful location but the restaurant and service were an absolute disaster. A burrata for just under €20, completely loveless and uninspired. The service was an absolute disaster. The journey is not worth it. We advise against it.

Wir kamen zu fünft (ohne Reservierung) mit meinen 84 jährigen Eltern, die sich schon sehr auf den Besuch gefreut hatten und wurden unfreundlich abgewiesen, obwohl es online noch möglich war zu reservieren. Besonders unschön, da meine Mutter so froh gewesen war den Weg angestrengt am Rollator geschafft zu haben und wir den Eindruck hatten, dass unser casual look ausschlaggebend war.

Obwohl wir um 1200 Uhr die ersten Gäste waren und als Erste die Bestellung aufgegeben haben mussten wir 40 Minuten auf 2 mal Pizza u. einmal Soaghetti warten. Spaghetti trocken mit Mini Speckwürfeln so hart, daß man um seine Zähne fürchten musste. Nach Reklamation aber immerhin das Angebot ein neues Essen zu bringen, was wir dankend ablehnten.Pizza mit dünnem Boden (gut) aber der Teig so fest, dass man ihn kaum schneiden konnte.. Zu guter Letzt, leider zu spät gemerkt, eine Flasche Wasser zu viel auf der Rechnung. Wegen der wunderschönen Lage werden wir wiederkommen, aber nur zu einer Tasse Kaffee.

Last Sunday there was a lot of activity in all rooms on the Wannsee Terraces. The team under Ms. Nur works professionally. Despite the busyness, it took us a long time to get our food and the quality was top. It's fun to visit this beautiful location and, despite the high number of visitors, to have the feeling that you are a welcome guest. And the price/performance ratio for this location is very good. I'm afraid I'll have to come more often.

Underground! If you would like to go out for a delicious meal and enjoy the view of Lake Wannsee, you are unfortunately in the wrong place! After ordering, we waited for our food for over 1.5 hours with the terrace half occupied. The calamari with aioli for €20.50 was thawed calamari with a pile of mayonnaise on wilted lettuce. The Capricciosa pizza was also more of an “all inclusive club hotel” level and came with raw mushrooms. The view is nice, but you sit on cheap and sometimes broken chairs at cheap tables. There is rubbish everywhere on the terrace and for the prices on the menu you could at least expect tablecloths and cloth napkins. The refilled water bottles are probably only cleaned once a quarter and also don't justify the price of €7.00. After complaining about the food, it was discussed with us that the chef had said that we had no idea and that the dish would not be taken off the bill. After further emphasizing that the criticism should at least be passed on so that the menu is changed accordingly and guests are not confused again, the waiter gave us a bottle of rosé to take on the way home as an apology. It was worth a try - but never again!

The food is average and the drinks didn't blow our minds either. The water in the bottles is simply refilled and tasted like stale sparkling water. If you have a question, you get a stupid answer. It's a shame for the beautiful location.

Great view, great food, very well managed

Man sitzt dort drinnen in einem sehr netten Ambiente, welches einer englischen Clubatmosphäre ähnelt. Demgegenüber ist das Fleisch (Entrecote) zäh, bestellt wurde ein Gericht mit Linguine, gebracht wurden Spaghetti, etwa 12 auf der Karte angebotene Pizzavarianten gab es tatsächlich gar nicht, von 4 angebotenen Dessertarten waren tatsächlich nur 2 verfügbar. Fleisch dort besser meiden, das können sie nicht. Auch schwarzer Reis mit xx war ein Reinfall. Bei den Weinsorten ist dieser Italiener sehr beschränkt, bei stolzen Preisen. Die Bedienung ist eher als gewöhnlich bis nicht sonderlich am Gast interessiert einzuordnen. Für das alles ist das Preisniveau überhöht.

Wir sind spontan zu dem Restaurant gefahren. Die Lage ist super. Aber mehr positives gibt es nicht bzw. hatten wir nicht die Gelegenheit etwas auszuprobieren. Wir bekamen von einem arroganten Kellner einen Platz auf der Terrasse zugewiesen, und das wars dann auch schon. Uns wurde keinerlei Beachtung geschenkt. Nach einer halben Stunde, sind wir enttäuscht und etwas wütend gegangen. In dieser Zeit brachte man uns nicht einmal eine Speise/Getränkekarte. Schade eigentlich, denn die Lage am Wannsee wäre super für eine schöne Zeit in einem tollen Restaurant. Wir werden die Wannseeterrassen Berlin nicht wieder besuchen.

Exclusive location that is not known for nothing for its upscale ambience. A special highlight is the unique view of Lake Wannsee, especially in the afternoon when the sun is shining.

We spontaneously drove to the restaurant. The location is great. But there isn't anything more positive or we didn't have the opportunity to try anything out. We were given a seat on the terrace by an arrogant waiter and that was it. We were not given any attention. After half an hour, we left disappointed and a little angry. During this time they didn't even bring us a food/drink menu. It's a shame, because the location on Wannsee would be great for a nice time in a great restaurant. We will not visit the Wannseeterrassen Berlin again.

If there is a place on the terrace, simply a place to enjoy. Great food with a view over the Wannsee. There is also a separate beer garden if you want to experience something a little different. There, of course, without the menu, but with a view. Small but nice.

Unfortunately not a reliable partner for family celebrations In February of this year we made reservations for a family celebration in June. To be on the safe side, we asked four weeks and one week before the event. Three days before our celebration we received a call from an employee at Wannseeterrassen saying we were cancelled. The reason for the cancellation was the booking of a larger celebration. This means that Wannseeterrassen is not a reliable partner for us and therefore cannot be recommended.

Basic Italian cuisine in a superb setting with a wonderful view of the lake. Friendly welcome. Good place for a drink or dinner.

Despite a reservation, we waited 30 minutes for a table, then 1.5 hours for the food. When we asked, no understanding was shown and the response was very unfriendly. Even the children's meal (pasta in butter for €14.00) only arrived after more than an hour after repeated requests. The food is good but doesn't justify the price.

Despite a reservation, we waited 30 minutes for a seat and almost 1 1/2 hours for the food after ordering. Instead of apologizing, attempts were made to justify. Unfortunately, it is hardly possible to go out to eat with children in the evening, as you cannot rely on them getting their food on time (pasta with butter and parmesan is really not a meal that you would wait 1 1/2 hours for) . The atmosphere on the terrace is really nice, but the staff is unfortunately extremely overwhelmed and cannot cope with the rush. The average meal is also priced too high.

Food is quite good. We had Pfifferling soup and beef carpaccio, fired calamari and schnitzel. Soup, calamari and snitzel were very delicious, carpaccio was so so, bad quality of meat. Service was soooi slow. There were only 2 waiters for the whole terrace.

Fantastic location above the Wannsee, beautiful sun terrace. Coffee and cake were also delicious. When paying, the announcement says “Card payment only possible for orders over €30”. Luckily my companion had cash with him and invited me, but it was more than embarrassing for me. This is a province, not a federal capital.

The view of the lake is beautiful! Without doubt. But here, when you eat and drink, you pay for exactly that and not for the food or drink. Sure, it's a bit more upscale and the prices are accordingly (completely understandable). But the prices are really high for small plates. And contrary to what it says online, there wasn't really anything vegan. The waiter told us that the vegetables, potatoes etc. are already marinated in butter (for taste), which I can also understand... also for preparation in the kitchen and co. But… especially in this day and age and when you want to be a slightly more exclusive restaurant… is a vegan dish really too much to ask for? We then had a small plate of salad with a few strawberries and Some asparagus was then eaten for €15 each. So the view and the restaurant itself are incredibly beautiful. The price-performance ratio is absolutely lousy. Later we were at the beer garden again and the two men there had less than no interest in their job. So all in all. It was an experience and we still wish you much success for the future. <3 :)
