Wang Su in Kiel

We're regulars there, and I have to say the buffet has really been declining. A lot of the food is covered in oil, and unfortunately, it's often cold. I hope things improve again when the restaurant reopens.

Very nice restaurant, and the chefs were super friendly. The best things for me, though, were the coconut ice cream and the wok.

The food was okay. But be careful with the all-you-can-eat offer. It's a rip-off! We ate during the all-you-can-eat period (when they offer a limited menu). The waiter came to take our money shortly after 5:00 PM and claimed we were no longer in the all-you-can-eat period and had to pay full price. It was really cheeky. The food was good, but we were really disappointed by the service and can't recommend this place.

I was there two days before closing (for renovations). Good selection, good quality, reasonable price. Service was friendly and courteous.

Today was my third enjoyable visit here. It's a classic Chinese buffet restaurant with live cooking and prepared meals. It's been delicious every time and always to our liking. We'll be happy to eat here again when we're in Kiel.

We arrived at the last minute and still got everything we wanted at the buffet. There was even a birthday surprise for our eldest. Unfortunately, the restaurant will be closed at the end of the month for a major renovation until the end of the year. We'd love to come back for the reopening.

Never again!!! We returned here for the first time in five years and now know why we haven't been here for the last five years. We were there on a Monday evening. The quality of the food is definitely not worth the money. €27.90 for a buffet where half of the food already looks very meager is definitely not worth the money. - The baked duck was almost always empty or there were only dead pieces of fried food in the tray. - There wasn't much to choose from either. - The fresh meat section smelled strongly of fish. - The temperature of the dishes in the trays was only slightly more than lukewarm. - Most of the trays were always almost empty, even though there weren't many customers in the restaurant. We've eaten at buffets in Chinese restaurants before, but the quality was much better, at the same or lower price. We will never eat here again!!!

Very, very friendly and attentive team! The lunch buffet offers a very varied, plentiful, and very tasty selection; the food is always promptly replenished. We always enjoy coming back and look forward to the hopefully soon reopening! Best wishes from Eutin

The glory days are clearly over here. The buffet looks very sad and greasy. On the one hand, there's the "fresh" items like salad and vegetables for the grill station, and on the other, the fried delicacies... The buffet costs almost €30 per person and offers absolutely NOTHING that you can't also get at an Asian snack bar – where you only pay a third of the price. The service is friendly but also somewhat assembly-line-like. The food quality is rather below average, and the ambiance isn't pleasant anymore. Right at the entrance, there's a printed(!) and framed(!) sign stating that card payments are not possible TODAY because the machine is broken. Whoever has the time to frame a sign instead of driving into town and buying an EC-card machine... They obviously don't want to accept digital payments here. Very bad!

Wir waren zum Mittagstisch da. Es gab ein großes Buffet und leckeres Essen die, Gastro ist nett. Das Nachtischbuffet war auch groß. Es gab Muffins, Eis und einen Schokobrunnen wo zwar Schokolade drinne war die immernoch erhitzt wird, aber es fließt keine Schokolade von oben runter. Dazu gibt es noch Früchte und Spieße zum aufspießen.

We were there for the buffet on Monday evening, and it was fantastic. The buffet was extensive, the restaurant wasn't too crowded, and the prices were reasonable.

Very good buffet. We have always been here regularly, but had to significantly reduce our visits due to price developments. The cheapest lunch buffet now costs just under €18. On Sunday it's even just under €28. Of course everything will be more expensive, but here the price spoils my good mood. Therefore only 3 stars.

The salad bar was stocked with dry, old vegetables and lots of fried ones. You can do it - it's just mass production.

Maybe not exactly gourmet food, but it's tasty and affordable in a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for spontaneous visits, even with children or groups.

The food has always been good. We've never tried the buffet because we don't want to pay a lot and don't want to eat meat anyway. There are a few vegetarian dishes a la carte, though. The children's dishes all contain meat, but my kids like the starters. Service is nice, the atmosphere is a bit kitschy, a bit sticky in places, but otherwise OK. We come about once a year, which is always nice.

1.) This time the buffet dishes were rather lukewarm and I found the sauces in particular to be overly sugary. 2.) Very accommodating and pleasantly polite! 3.) Overall quite nice! Even though the entire ambience exudes more of a train station hall charm, they still try to give the whole thing a bit of cosiness with Far Eastern accessories. Conclusion: We've eaten better here

Everyone had the buffet, which was very good in terms of quality, the staff was friendly at all times and the price is now almost normal. If you paid €12 - €14 for a kebab plate, I definitely think it's more for mine here to get money. We will definitely come here to eat again

My family has been eating there for several years and we've never had a bad experience - my cousin even got a birthday present from them. The staff are very nice and friendly and you can't complain about the food either

The food was quite nice. Especially the possibility to get some stuff grilled is really great. But when we were there in a group of 10 people we emptied one tray of sauces, that are on the table and it wasn't refilled after we asked for it.

Were there again after a long time (2-3 years), but there wasn't a big change in the food. Unless you're totally starving, it's not worth the money. But tastes are different. For us, we prefer quality rather than quantity. The service was good.

Tested again after a long time, didn't expect much but was still disappointed. Went to the buffet. The welcome was nice, but then the drinks took a long time, even though they weren't full. Tried various things, but unfortunately nothing convinced me... fried noodles were cold, some dishes were completely rushed, others like spring rolls had almost no taste. Sweet and sour sauce very watery. Some of the duck was fried very dead. A lot of convenience...also due to the size of the store, but it doesn't make it any better. The most unpleasant thing was the stomach pain that followed. With good will three 🌟. . I prefer to stick with my regular Chinese, in the end not much more expensive, but significantly better.

We were in the mood for Chinese and tried the all you can eat dinner buffet. It's not cheap but the quality of the food is very good. Sashimi with sushi and also the finished dishes and the live cooking are very good. I think anyone who likes Asian food will definitely find something here.

Einfaches Buffet, 1 Vorsuppe (Hühnersuppe), dann zur Hauptspeise klassischer Reis, Reis gebraten und Gebratene Nudeln. Knuspriges paniertes Hühnerfleisch, knusproge Hühnerfleischstreifen, knusprige Ente, pnierte Scampi, panierte Tintenfischringe (chinesisch?), Chickennuggets (chinesisch ???), Kartoffelecken, vier vorgefertigte Soßen ohne Einlagen, Rindfleisch mit Zwiebeln und Grünen Bohnen, Schweinefleisch mit Curry-Thaisoße, + 3-4 weitere Fleischgerichte mit Gemüsebeilage in Soße... Mittags ist das Buffet eingeschränkt, aber dennoch ausreichend. Es schmeckt, aber die separierten 4 Soßen haben kaum Eigengeschmackt, eben ohne Gemüse. Man kann sich auch selber ein rohes Essen zusamenstellen und es köcheln lassen. Großzügige Salatbar. Waren oft da zum Mittag, weil es auch günstig war, aber die Preise wurden mittlerweile kräftig angehoben....

Standard Asian buffet. I'd love to come back

The buffet has now become more expensive but is absolutely worth the money. Special mention should be made of the excellent dim sum and the baked chicken; my wife is crazy about the sushi on offer. The service is friendly and courteous, the atmosphere is very appealing!

The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is large and has typical Asian furnishings. We ordered a la carte. Unfortunately, the Buddhist Lenten dish was served without tofu. The vegetables with the sauce were tasty, but the crispy tofu that actually goes with this dish was missing.

A cultivated atmosphere awaits the guest, who can choose from numerous appetizingly presented dishes. It can also be freshly prepared upon request. There was no time for photos!

The ambience of the restaurant, on the other hand, is very nice and there is also plenty of parking space. I would give the service 10 stars if possible. All employees were very courteous and always available. The buffet selection was huge and it was always refilled. The table was beautifully decorated and they even lit a candle for us. Toilets were also very clean. Absolutely recommended!!!

Last week we had dinner with the family at Wang Su in Kiel and had a great evening together. The buffet was very rich and we particularly enjoyed the sushi - super fresh, rich and a varied selection. The dessert variations were also very colorful and varied. I would definitely recommend that guests take advantage of the buffet offer!! Simply delicious! We stayed for several hours and had a very friendly waiter who welcomed us pleasantly and offered good service. We felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to our next visit!

I recently visited the buffet restaurant and absolutely loved it! The selection of food was impressive - from fresh salads to hearty main courses and tempting desserts. Everything was deliciously prepared and the quality of the ingredients was excellent.

Unfortunately the quality of the food has become poor, but the service always picks up the plates.

You really don't need to go there at lunchtime. 44 euros for two people (1 adult 1 child 11 years) Almost everything was swept empty, mainly just the remains that were already dry at the edges. Sushi was only vegetarian and very little. Well, what can I say, it's better to go there in the evening, even though the quality has deteriorated there too.

We arrived around 4:15 p.m. still in a good mood. At this point the buffet was not yet accessible (only from 5 p.m.), but it was already ready. So we decided on a 3 course menu for 2 people from the menu. Some time later we were served food that was partly dry and partly salty (probably from the lunch buffet): The food (sorry, you can't call it food) was not edible, and after a few sample bites the rest was returned. The waiter probably already sensed our frustration and didn't even ask when we were clearing away whether everything was okay... When we asked, again a while later, about the dessert, which was now overdue, we were sent to the now open dinner buffet, we could go there yes, serve yourself... For this disappointment, the bill including 2 drinks amounted to just under 80 euros, excluding the tip, because that wasn't available for this experience... Conclusion: Bad food, bad service, bad prices. The ambience is mediocre and the guest toilets are simply below all dignity Quantity instead of class: Anyone who goes here has only themselves to blame.
