Wang Su in Kiel

Tested again after a long time, didn't expect much but was still disappointed. Went to the buffet. The welcome was nice, but then the drinks took a long time, even though they weren't full. Tried various things, but unfortunately nothing convinced me... fried noodles were cold, some dishes were completely rushed, others like spring rolls had almost no taste. Sweet and sour sauce very watery. Some of the duck was fried very dead. A lot of convenience...also due to the size of the store, but it doesn't make it any better. The most unpleasant thing was the stomach pain that followed. With good will three 🌟. . I prefer to stick with my regular Chinese, in the end not much more expensive, but significantly better.

We've eaten there many times. Always delicious and the service is very friendly.

We were in the mood for Chinese and tried the all you can eat dinner buffet. It's not cheap but the quality of the food is very good. Sashimi with sushi and also the finished dishes and the live cooking are very good. I think anyone who likes Asian food will definitely find something here.

I was there for the first time yesterday because my son surprised me (he's been there before) & I'm totally thrilled... the birthday surprise is also highly recommended... Unfortunately there are no photos but a video of what I have here Unfortunately I can't upload it... I would like to give many more stars for each point because everything just fits! The staff was super friendly & attentive... I can't say anything about the price since I was invited... Einfaches Buffet, 1 Vorsuppe (Hühnersuppe), dann zur Hauptspeise klassischer Reis, Reis gebraten und Gebratene Nudeln. Knuspriges paniertes Hühnerfleisch, knusproge Hühnerfleischstreifen, knusprige Ente, pnierte Scampi, panierte Tintenfischringe (chinesisch?), Chickennuggets (chinesisch ???), Kartoffelecken, vier vorgefertigte Soßen ohne Einlagen, Rindfleisch mit Zwiebeln und Grünen Bohnen, Schweinefleisch mit Curry-Thaisoße, + 3-4 weitere Fleischgerichte mit Gemüsebeilage in Soße... Mittags ist das Buffet eingeschränkt, aber dennoch ausreichend. Es schmeckt, aber die separierten 4 Soßen haben kaum Eigengeschmackt, eben ohne Gemüse. Man kann sich auch selber ein rohes Essen zusamenstellen und es köcheln lassen. Großzügige Salatbar. Waren oft da zum Mittag, weil es auch günstig war, aber die Preise wurden mittlerweile kräftig angehoben....

Standard Asian buffet. I'd love to come back

The buffet has now become more expensive but is absolutely worth the money. Special mention should be made of the excellent dim sum and the baked chicken; my wife is crazy about the sushi on offer. The service is friendly and courteous, the atmosphere is very appealing!

The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is large and has typical Asian furnishings. We ordered a la carte. Unfortunately, the Buddhist Lenten dish was served without tofu. The vegetables with the sauce were tasty, but the crispy tofu that actually goes with this dish was missing.

The food from the buffet generally tasted good. Unfortunately, the selection of dishes on offer was not very large for the high price of €27.90; I would have liked more different sauces, meat and vegetable alternatives. Refilling individual dishes sometimes took too long. Unfortunately, the dessert buffet was disappointing. The cakes seemed to me to have been thawed, the baklava was so sticky that it was difficult to remove from the tray and the ice cream flavors listed on the notice were not available at all. Too bad! The ambience of the restaurant, on the other hand, is very nice and there is also plenty of parking space. Some service staff could work on their friendliness, but overall the waiters were courteous and friendly.

I would give the service 10 stars if possible. All employees were very courteous and always available. The buffet selection was huge and it was always refilled. The table was beautifully decorated and they even lit a candle for us. Toilets were also very clean. Absolutely recommended!!!

Last week we had dinner with the family at Wang Su in Kiel and had a great evening together. The buffet was very rich and we particularly enjoyed the sushi - super fresh, rich and a varied selection. The dessert variations were also very colorful and varied. I would definitely recommend that guests take advantage of the buffet offer!! Simply delicious! We stayed for several hours and had a very friendly waiter who welcomed us pleasantly and offered good service. We felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Has worn off, no longer recommended, and expensive

I recently visited the buffet restaurant and absolutely loved it! The selection of food was impressive - from fresh salads to hearty main courses and tempting desserts. Everything was deliciously prepared and the quality of the ingredients was excellent.

You really don't need to go there at lunchtime. 44 euros for two people (1 adult 1 child 11 years) Almost everything was swept empty, mainly just the remains that were already dry at the edges. Sushi was only vegetarian and very little. Well, what can I say, it's better to go there in the evening, even though the quality has deteriorated there too.

Unfortunately the quality of the food has become poor, but the service always picks up the plates.

The decor is nice and better than many other Chinese restaurants. Unfortunately, the taste was significantly worse in comparison. As a whole it was a bit dull and boring. Others can do this much better.

We arrived around 4:15 p.m. still in a good mood. At this point the buffet was not yet accessible (only from 5 p.m.), but it was already ready. So we decided on a 3 course menu for 2 people from the menu. Some time later we were served food that was partly dry and partly salty (probably from the lunch buffet): The food (sorry, you can't call it food) was not edible, and after a few sample bites the rest was returned. The waiter probably already sensed our frustration and didn't even ask when we were clearing away whether everything was okay... When we asked, again a while later, about the dessert, which was now overdue, we were sent to the now open dinner buffet, we could go there yes, serve yourself... For this disappointment, the bill including 2 drinks amounted to just under 80 euros, excluding the tip, because that wasn't available for this experience... Conclusion: Bad food, bad service, bad prices. The ambience is mediocre and the guest toilets are simply below all dignity Quantity instead of class: Anyone who goes here has only themselves to blame.

We were there spontaneously on Sunday. There was surprisingly little going on. Unfortunately you noticed this at the buffet. In some cases little was prepared and the pasta, for example, was already cold. We know it completely differently. But for now almost €30 per person, you expect higher quality.

We got a nice seat by the window without booking in advance. The place is nice and big and bright... The buffet is rich and beautifully presented. It was constantly being replenished. Salads, sushi, sauces, vegetables... everything your heart desires... Yummy.... The soft ice cream from the machine is great. Funny and should be owned by every restaurant 😊... We felt comfortable and enjoyed the food... We'd love to come back.

Asian buffet as it should be: large selection of everything, including live cooking. You should definitely try the spicy soup - it is extremely tasty. Unfortunately, the sushi doesn't blow you away. For the first time we were here at lunchtime! From 10 years old you pay 19.90 per person - plus drinks. Unfortunately the chocolate fountain wasn't on. The service was extremely friendly and always lightning fast. A small robot helps with clearing away. There is a cigarette machine and a smoking room - the walls are covered with makeshift menus in the area above the paneling. I don't know why :-) There are also seats outside and an Asian fountain bubbles away. Children's chairs are available. I didn't discover a changing option. Unfortunately the toilets are in need of renovation. See pictures. The staff was very attentive and gave us a small present when we left: it was my daughter's birthday and she was really happy! That was nice and we say THANK YOU! See you next time;-)

A 10/10! The food is super delicious! There are lots of different things to try. From soup to noodle, rice to sushi and meat. Vegetables and fruits are also available. For children also ice cream and small pieces of cake! The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is very nice! Highly recommended!❤️

I like the buffet offerings, which vary depending on the day of the week and time. The sushi offering is also a nice touch. The quality of the food is always good and the service is friendly, approachable and attentive. The atmosphere is nice and the space is generous. I now find the prices to be a little too high, but as is usual in the catering industry lately, they have also risen here. There are some outdoor spaces. The location is central, there is free parking in the immediate vicinity.

My husband and I are here relatively often. Large selection from warm to sushi, self-selected ingredients are freshly prepared, from mild to spicy, from meat to meatless and sweet dishes buffet. Everything is delicious and everyone will find something. The staff is very friendly. The prices are okay. All You Can Eat or individual dishes/menu. Parking spaces in front of the door.

By chance we ended up at Wang Su for the lunch buffet and were very pleasantly surprised. The rich buffet offers something for every taste. The sushi is very fresh and delicious. The salads are also all fresh. A large selection of desserts rounds off every meal. The service is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. We'll definitely come back here again and maybe enjoy the evening buffet.

There was a choice: surimi or vegetarian The “raw food” for the grill is dry and old.

Definitely recommendable! The buffet in particular is worth a visit. We've been eating there for several years now and everything we've tried so far has been tasty. Very friendly staff. There is only one star deduction because the changing rooms leave a lot to be desired and there is no opportunity to do anything in front of the restaurant - but we rarely if ever have to rely on this, as visiting the buffet, especially with children, does not involve any waiting time for the food - so arrive , get the food straight away, eat it, pay and leave again :) no waiting times, very family friendly.

Personally, it is far too loud and uncomfortable here. There's certainly a lot to choose from here, but for me quantity doesn't equal quality. My last 1-star review was flagged on Google for alleged defamation. Everyone can now decide for themselves whether this company deals openly with customer opinions or not.

For €27.50 you can expect more. The ingredients for the grill are not of high quality. The salmon looked like it only consisted of leftovers from making suhsi. Suhsi consisted of too much rice, so that the guest quickly becomes full. Overall, everything didn't make a good impression. Many of the dishes from the warm buffet were empty and you didn't know what to eat. Service was ok.

We were there on Thursday evening for "happy hour" (8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.). A positive thing to mention is that it is comparatively empty at this time of day and the noise in the restaurant is therefore very pleasant. The service is also correspondingly good at this time. The buffet dishes had a good Timișoara flavor and were correspondingly hot. We noticed some of the quality of the food negatively, as the meat was often quite al dente/tough due to the longer storage period. The range of desserts was already severely limited and some of the fruit there had already fermented due to poor cooling. This shouldn't happen to a place like this!!! Therefore only 2 stars because of the service and the ambience.

The service was great, always friendly and very attentive. Dishes were quickly cleared and new drinks were immediately asked for. There was also a small present for my mother's birthday. The restaurant is bright, friendly and offers enough space. Unfortunately we didn't like the buffet. The selection of ready-made dishes was manageable, with a lot of lukewarm fried foods. And you definitely won't be happy as a vegetarian. Otherwise pork predominates. Personally, I especially missed typical chicken dishes. We had some components on our plates that we unfortunately didn't like at all (including fried rice) and we didn't take advantage of the option to put it together ourselves because we weren't interested in it. The selection of desserts was generous, the fresh pineapple was super sweet and I've never seen baked milk like that before. Ultimately it was a nice evening but the price-performance ratio just wasn't right for us. In Flensburg we pay €10 less for the same offer or we have four times the selection for the same price. And these are already high prices in the restaurants that are aimed at Danish tourists.

We're happy to be there, lots of choice and friendly staff. We even got a free cappuccino for dessert. All types of meat are super tender and the sweet and sour pork in particular is to die for. The dessert selection is great and if there was only soft ice cream, that would be enough. Plates are cleared away in no time.

Once a half-year you can enjoy the buffet!
