Very friendly staff, delicious food and comfortable seating. We'll gladly come back.

We ordered two doner kebab plates and a Coke today. A total of €52, immediately transferred. The food never arrived. After several phone calls, no new order and no refund. Instead, only excuses on the phone. Our offer to redo the order and pick it up ourselves was also rejected. Never again!!! We will demand a refund through a lawyer. Stay away if you want to order from them!

Things aren't the same at this restaurant anymore. I was there today, October 12, 2025, at around 2:45 p.m. I stood at the counter. Two employees were present. I waited for about five minutes, then one of the employees came over and looked at me. When I asked, "Hello, can I order something now?" the employee turned around and went to a colleague. I waited in that position for about three more minutes and left. I'm often there on weekends and support the restaurant by eating outside.

At first, the food arrived a bit lukewarm! They were very honest and brought me a completely new portion!

Very, very bad service. Order got lost. It took 1 hour and 17 minutes for the food to arrive at the table. The waitress smelled extremely sweaty. Unfriendly service.

I found the lentil soup for €6 unsuitable. It was too liquid for my taste and lacked lentil consistency. Unfortunately, I personally didn't like the doner kebab plate... but it was a very large portion.

I'd prefer not to give any stars at all. The food I got there was the worst Dürüm I've ever had, stomach cramps, diarrhea, and then I hardly understood a word because they spoke a local language most of the time, not in German. I also tried several sauces I took with me but they were totally acidic. The tzatziki or whatever it was supposed to be was bad, or cocktail sauce, whatever it was supposed to be, it just tasted of sugar, not recommended at all.

Bought an XL kebab. The bread was cut right in half, so everything fell out. It was full of lettuce. Onions were forgotten. And everything was soggy with tomato sauce. The new employee doesn't listen and talks too much. Nice, I'll go again!

The pizza was partially charred and tasted extremely dry. The blinds also fell apart immediately. The wait was also extremely long.

We haven't been there for a long time and unfortunately things haven't gotten any better. The food is ok, although the hamburgers lack salt and pepper on the patty. Quite expensive for that too. Staff is unfriendly, slow and generally seems haphazard.

Danger! Removed with rotten meat. 12 euros for a lousy, dry Dürüm. Bad for 2 days. It wasn't cooked and unfortunately the quality was very poor. In addition, the behavior of the staff was very unfriendly. I definitely won't shop here again and can't recommend it to anyone.

A very nice, tasteful shop. The doner kebab tastes very good; it's quite fatty, but that adds to the flavor. The bread is crispy and doesn't tear; that's very well done. The salad is very fresh and crisp, with a nice acidity. The hot sauce is actually pleasantly hot. The staff is friendly, and there's no loud music or noise, so it's quite bearable. As of the end of March 2025, the doner kebab costs seven euros for the regular size, or €9.50 with a drink. I think that's quite fair these days.

We were there spontaneously. There was enough space. Toilet clean. Overall modernly furnished. Food was delicious, portions are more than sufficient. The cheeseburger is average, the falafel roll is very tasty. One point deducted from the service because the waiter obviously doesn't understand German well and you had to ask several times for a simple order

Unfortunately the worst burger I have eaten in Bremen. Cucumbers on it even though you write specifically that you don't want any and more sauce than anything else. Unfortunately very, very weak. At least the fries provided were still quite crispy.

I regret giving 2 points because the staff and service were very good. I even went with my little daughter and they were very kind and sweet. I love businesses that treat children kindly. But it was one of the worst iskender I have ever eaten. You probably soaked the iskender with the thyme sauce you used on your pizza, because it tasted strongly of thyme. I ate a veal kebab twice within 1 week. I thought it was an outlier, but the second time it tasted terrible too. The quality of the meat was so subpar that I didn't finish it. It is probably the cheapest mechanically separated meat. Doesn't taste good at all. Wasted money instead of a good kebab.

Bad as ever. Given so many chances. Unfortunately, the taste has never been great. But finally it gave me the rest. The employees (at least the one that one evening). Ordered food, it was the second person's turn. The third person comes in, talks to him in Turkish (I am too, but you can't tell), says you can quickly make me a kebab. He was served first. There was enough meat for 3 kebabs, which means it was the last delicious leftover. Of course, I only got the basically almost raw skewered meat. I was thinking about not going there anymore, but that was the nail in the coffin. It's not possible. Oh well, gloves are also worn which are used for preparation and handling of money and everything. They'll never see me again. Even if I starve.

I was in the store with 9 other people. We received our food and drinks within 5-10 minutes. We received free tea, sweets for the children and the food was delicious!! All of our portions were huge. One plate would have even been enough for 2 people. It was super tasty, service was great, and the food was warm :). I can only recommend it, it doesn't taste like any other chicken shop.

Worst kebab place I've ever seen and experienced! Rollo 7.50 € excessively expensive and not even baked properly, completely bland and cold. The chicken was endlessly greasy, I ordered several kebabs with lamb, one with chicken, the old one made all of them with chicken when I asked him and it was lame He with his arm Never mind and they were all bad enough to throw up, the children didn't eat it because everything had chicken in it, later everything ended up in the trash, it was billed incorrectly and we discussed it for a long time, we paid almost €40 for these kebabs and rolls, which tasted 0%, unfriendly, stressed people Employees who simply make the wrong orders and cash in first and last time!!!for a fries for 3€ totally over salted, exorbitantly expensive for inedible food never again!!! Today I was in Bremen with my football team from Hanover and we were at Hühnerhaus. We ordered 5 portions of iskender kebab and it came with five portions of kebab plates 😡😡 The meat was very dry and we have never eaten anything so bad. For an Iskender kebab there must be tomato sauce and hot oil. It really couldn't be seen or noticed. For almost €17 per person we didn't even eat half of the plates I wouldn't advise anyone to eat there!! While we were paying, I told the owner to take out this Iskender Kebab menu and sell it as a kebab plate. He didn't even react to that. Such a ridiculous shop 🤮🤮🤮🤮

So I'm so disappointed with this "restaurant"!!!!! I can't believe it anymore... I know that a lot of things have become more expensive because that's just the way it is. But I also know that many people are taking advantage of the situation to fill their pockets. I ate there often and a lot and was always satisfied. But now the prices have risen so much. For the approx. normal fries instead of €2, €3.50?????? For the normal kebab box, instead of €4, €5.50, large, which I always ate, instead of €6, €7.50???? If my girlfriend and I didn't share a "large" fries....which was just a double fries for €4...that much on the subject was never really cheap anyway.....but it would be Now for us it means....7€ for the size of fries we are used to.....says Mal....is their helmet burning??? Haven't we all suffered enough from COVID blah and have you seen??? And now vampires like that are coming? Who knows, maybe there were already COVID test centers in the Waller Hänchen Haus with 40,000 customers a day.....heavy!!!!!!!!! And now another number... just because I'm not Turkish I won't be served or what? I just stood there for 20 minutes, I said hello when I came in and I still don't get served??? Just because I don't speak Turkish and get in accordingly??? Those who came after me and around me were all served in a friendly manner, but they only gave me half a glance, along the lines of "what does he want here" and that's it... I can't believe it anymore... I'm myself I have a foreigner (Spanish) but that goes too far. Who do they think they are??? I'll never leave just a cent there again!!! The last!!! The very last thing!!!!

Tables dirty, food cold, very expensive for such cheap meat and very little, I ordered a large roll with more meat in the end there was very little in it, I ordered fries and they arrived cold, we pointed out that the fries were cold, they heartlessly put it in the microwave, the plate was hot, my nephews burned themselves. If you want to eat delicious food, go somewhere else, full of dirty shops. Never again, thank you 👍

I'm addicted to half chicken and a big critic of it. In Bremen I like to eat at the Waller HuhnHaus. although the prices have become too expensive for me. I like that it has two floors so you can eat in peace upstairs. Sometimes the music is way too loud and that's annoying. I don't want music while I'm eating. Not everyone listens to music. The half chicken could be a little more spicy. Ketchup and mayo are way too expensive for such a small bag! Yes, ok service could be more talkative or rather walk around with a pen and piece of paper like a real waiter, why do you have to order downstairs and pay for everything, why don't you just ask the waiter for everything like in a real restaurant then you can charge such high prices but without all that you're still there a snack. As I said, I have always come to you when I wanted to eat chicken in Bremen, but that was only because I haven't tried the other halal chicken snack bars/restaurants in Bremen yet, but I will do so soon. But we'll definitely see each other again

We have been customers at the Waller Chicken House since the beginning and have regularly ordered chicken and fries to take away. There was no better chicken and fries. After the renovation, things got worse and worse. Sometimes the fries were cold, sometimes the chicken was burnt. We tried a few more times but it didn't get any better. Even the new staff can't hold a candle to the old ones. It's a shame, but even negative reports haven't brought any improvement. Customer service is different. The owner considers this information to be spam. Unfortunately no insight, what a shame

Essen wurde schnell und gut zubereitet.

Leider nicht mehr das was es mal war, ich war dort früher wirklich oft aber der Service so wie auch das Essen hat echt nachgelassen.Der Döner ist trocken und kaum belegt schmecken tut er leider auch nicht mehr wie früher, serviert wird es auf einem Plastik Blech wie von Mecces mit einer Plastik Kabel ! Schade aber ich suche mir einen neuen Döner Laden Der 1 Sterne ist leider weil man sonst keine Bewertung schreiben kann.

Ich hatte eine 1-Stern-Bewertung abgegeben, aber da meine Bewertung vom Inhaber gemeldet worden ist, und der Beschwerdeführer sich in seinen Persönlichkeitsrechten nach Art. 2 GG i.V.m. der Menschenwürde aus Art. 1 GG verletzt fühlt, möchte ich meine 1-Stern-Bewertung gerne ausführlich darlegen und begründen, hierzu ziehe ich Art. 5 GG ("Meinungsfreiheit") in Betracht, welche ich nutzen darf, insofern ich keine Schmähkritik oder Beleidigung äußere, was ich nicht tun werde :). Zum Sachverhalt: am Abend des 31.12.23 habe ich, mit zwei Freundinnen, das "Waller Hähnchen Haus" um ca. Viertel nach neun betreten. Als Erstes wurden wir unhöflich angesprochen, was wir denn wöllten und wieso eine meiner Freundinnen nicht "[direkt sagen kann, dass sie ihren Burger im Menü möchte, statt alles einzeln zu bestellen]". Der Beschwerdeführer führt als Punkt in seiner Beschwerde an, ich sei ihm nicht bekannt und dass ich zu keiner Zeit in einer geschäftlichen Beziehung zu ihm stand. Jedoch kam ein Rechtsgeschäft nach §433 BGB zustande, indem ich einen Döner bei ihm bestellte, erhielt und diesen auch bezahlte. Natürlich kann ich dies nicht durch ein Dokument belegen, da ich keinen Bewirtungsbeleg erhalten habe. Wir haben uns in den ersten Stock gesetzt, da der Laden zwei Etagen vorzuweisen hat und haben unsere Bestellung (2x Chickenburger, 2x Pommes und 1x Döner) auch erhalten. Der Döner war kalt, enthielt zu viel Sauce, und das Fleisch schmeckte nicht besonders gut, zudem fand ich einen Knorpel im Fleisch, dies ist sehr unappetitlich. Die Pommes waren aber in Ordnung. Kurz vor zehn, als wir noch oben am Essen waren, wurde das Licht einfach ausgeschaltet. Daraufhin ging meine Freundin runter und sprach mit dem Inhaber. Dieser bat uns zu gehen, da der Laden schließen würde, obwohl auf der Website steht, dass er bis "00:00" geöffnet hätte. Ich hoffe, meine Bewertung trägt dazu bei, dass Sie meine 1-Stern-Bewertung nun besser nachvollziehen können. Frohes Neues

Ich war dort und bestellte ein halbes gegrilltes Hähnchen, das serviert wurde, aber es war nicht ganz durchgegart. Ich beschwerte mich darüber, also ersetzten sie das Medikament durch ein anderes halbes gegrilltes Hähnchen. Es war von außen durchgegart und von innen waren Blutreste zu sehen . Es war nicht ganz durchgegart. Ich habe es nicht gegessen. Und habe bezahlt .. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen. Es war das erste Mal und es wird das letzte Mal sein

Das Restaurant beeindruckt sowohl durch seine köstlichen Gerichte als auch durch das herzliche Ambiente. Egal, ob man das Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt oder sich im Restaurant verwöhnen lässt, der Geschmack ist einfach hervorragend, und man wird stets von einem freundlichen Lächeln empfangen. Ein besonders lobenswertes Merkmal ist die aufmerksame Gastfreundschaft des Personals. Sollte es gelegentlich zu einer längeren Wartezeit kommen, wird man umsorgt und nach einem Tee gefragt oder mit einer kleinen süßen Aufmerksamkeit verwöhnt. Die herausragende Sauberkeit des Grills und die freundliche Bedienung tragen dazu bei, dass der Besuch in diesem Restaurant immer wieder zu einem angenehmen Erlebnis wird. Die angebotenen Speisen sind von ausgezeichneter Qualität und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist äußerst attraktiv. Egal, ob man mit Freunden oder Familie hier speist, das Restaurant ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Ich persönlich werde definitiv öfter hier essen, da es mir jedes Mal viel Freude bereitet.

Ein typisches Südosteuropäisches Schnellrestaurant. Hochwertige Speisen solltean hier nicht erwarten. Das ist aber nicht abfällig gemeint. Die angebotenen Speisen waren vom Preis, Leistung und Größe der Portionen in Ordnung.

Der Döner ist nicht perfekt jedoch für Bremer Verhältnisse ziemlich gut. Vor allem stimmt die Preis-Leistung hier noch und der Döner kostet nicht 8 € wie bei vielen Mitbewerbern. Es gibt hier und da ein paar kleine Mängel. Z.B das offene scharfe Gewürz auf dem Tisch, dort weiß ich immer nicht ob dort nicht schon jemand mit den Fingern drinne war. Salat z.B Krautsalat finde ich etwas grob gehackt, könnte etwas feiner sein. Auf Nachfrage bekommt man aber ohne Augenrollen ein Schälchen scharfes Gewürz aus der Küche. Extrawünsche werden einem auch nicht gleich in Rechnung gestellt somit erhöht sich die Bereitschaft ein Trinkgeld zu geben. Mitarbeiter wie gesagt sehr höflich und aufmerksam.

Ich kenne diese Speiselokalität bereits seit den Zeiten im Altbau, sogar noch bevor damals der große Essensbereich dazu gebaut wurde. Trotz jeglicher Wandlungen und Veränderungen in der Welt in den letzten Jahren konnte dieses Lokal seine Qualität allgemein stets beibehalten. Im Gegensatz zum einfachen Hähnchenhaus von damals stehen einem heute im schönen Neubau viel mehr Gerichte zur Auswahl, angefangen von Döner Kebap und Adana-Spießen bis hin zu türkischen Desserts. Nach langer Zeit überwanden Sehnsucht und Appetit mich und ich entschied mich, vor Ort zu essen. Beim Betreten wird man freundlich vom jungen Personal begrüßt und in den im 1. Stock befindlichen Speisesaal eingeladen, wo ein weiterer Kollege die Bestellung aufnimmt. Nach kurzer Wartezeit wird das Bestellte frisch und heiß serviert, geschmacklich unverändert, so wie ich es in Erinnerung hatte. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.
