Who has ever eaten the real Bibimbap knows that the Bibimbap they serve is not the real Bibimbap

Located in the foodcourt with several food stalls. Some people thought it just a Korean street food but..it's soo tasty. They sell simple food but good. Bibimbap was good and the ramyum was cooked perfectly... For an Asian tourist in Germany, it's totally worth. Who can beat the cold weather with a bowl of hot ramyun... nom..nom...

Janee, the price was unreasonable for the size and the "service." The food was average, okay, but not really freshly prepared. Not recommended.

It was my first time in Bremen. The three of us ate there. It was absolutely delicious. All three of us were happy. Of course, it cost a bit more, but less than in a restaurant, and where else can you eat cheaply these days? We'll be back! 👌

I'm Korean. The service was terrible, the food didn't taste truly Korean, and the portions were very small compared to what I paid... Unfortunately, only one star. I'll never be back.

We were loyal regulars at Maru until today, always coming back, always bulgogi. So far, everything has been perfect: friendly service, delicious food, and my repeated requests for spicy sauce have always been met. Today, however, there seemed to be a new service philosophy: Spicy sauce? "No, it's not for this dish." After all, bulgogi is "already seasoned enough." Aha. The sauce is now only available for an additional charge – a remarkable change. At least they did offer a kind of "consolation sauce" as a generous gesture. Thank you very much. It's a shame, Maru, a real shame. Everything was great for years, and then this incident. But luckily, there are plenty of other stalls in the market hall that don't try to scare off regulars with trivialities. That's it for us.

I ordered vegan ramen. Sitting at the table in front of the preparation station, I waited. To my surprise, I watched the girl open one of those instant ramen noodles you find in Asian shops and prepare it just like I would at home, simply adding the powdered ingredients to hot water. Once I received the dish, I was disappointed. They had added a few vegetables and other ingredients, but the quality, as expected, was poor and the price was absolutely inappropriate. Honestly, I wasn't expecting freshly prepared noodles, but at least quality, and for the broth to be meticulously made using fresh ingredients. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. It's a real shame, because they could definitely do better.

MARU RAMEN We had ramen with tempura shrimp – a disaster. I've never eaten such disgusting ramen soup for €12 in my life. It tasted like instant noodle soup from a packet, like buldak. The broth was just colored water, no nice topping – just grated carrots and zucchini. Three soggy pieces of shrimp – simply awful. I wouldn't even give it a star. Absolutely not recommended, completely tasteless.

It was delicious~ But the japchae is salty, so I recommend eating it only as a side dish!

I ordered bibimbap to go, which was also very quick. Unfortunately, the bibimbap itself didn't really impress me. It was very dry, meaning it lacked any liquid, and the bulgogi was just ground beef, which was very disappointing, as traditionally it's very thinly sliced ​​beef that's grilled over an open fire. Simply getting ground beef that's been marinated is almost a disgrace.

The market hall is worth a visit, but Maru was only able to convince me to a limited extent! The food was quite overcooked and definitely too expensive for the portion.

A couple of nice meals in a busy but good lunchtime atmosphere.

It is cheap but it was just “junk food” at the end. No special recipe or ingredients, we took the shrimp soup and the dumplings. I wouldn’t recommend it , I am sure there are other spots to have lunch. We were lured by the high rate via Google

The food is delicious! I highly recommend the Maru Chicken. But also the bibimbap and the mandus filled with minced meat. The service is super friendly, and when I'm in the market hall, I always end up at Maru. The atmosphere is mediocre, it's in the market hall, but I enjoy coming here.

Chic ambience, I like this open fast food. Unfortunately, the kimchi ramyun was rather neutral in taste and we had expected it to be quite spicy. The other dishes were really very tasty.

The concept surrounding the Markthalle Acht definitely gets 5 out of 5 stars. There should definitely be more of these throughout Germany! Personally, I am always happy about stands that offer different or differently prepared food/drinks than what you can find “outside”. The Maru is definitely one of them. What is extremely positive is that you can pay by card. Personally, I found the €12.00 for the dish to be a bit too much. However, I would come back to try something different.

Great food in the well-equipped market hall! My absolute favorite there. Every single dish is superbly prepared. In addition, everyone there is super nice and the owner in particular stands out with his friendly and happy nature!

Das Essen war in Ordnung, nicht super lecker. Geschmacklich hat etwas gefehlt. Der Preis hat gepasst. Allerdings war es schwer einen Sitzplatz finden.

I am very satisfied.. If it were close to my house, I would go every day.. I thought I had no appetite in Europe, but when I ate Korean food, I ate it like I was a glutton. Maru can be found in Markthalle 8, a great location for foodies 🫶🏼 Personally, I didn't like the Korean street food that much, maybe my palate is already too spoiled by visiting Korean restaurants so often. The chicken was very dry, the mandus tasted like store-bought ones and the pork belly rice was super mushy because the cooking process continued with the sauce. But maybe it was also because we weren't there until 9 p.m. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Very, very tasty food and great staff. I've never felt so well cared for. My questions regarding some foods and my pregnancy were taken into consideration. We were wished all the best, which I thought was really great. Thank you

MOST DELICIOUS KOREAN FOOD IN BREMEN. It's always a great experience to eat here. Apart from the good service, you also get delicious food. I often had Korean food in Hamburg but it wasn't nearly as good as this. Central, fast and simply mega. I come here at least once every month to eat a great bibimbap!!!!

It was my first time here and it definitely won't be the last 😋 Totally nice staff and boss, plus really delicious food. I've eaten Korean food many times but never something so delicious! There are many vegetarian options which are also very tasty, highly recommended!!

旅途经过不来梅，选了这家韩料。拿到餐食时惊呆了，虾面就是韩式泡面加了三只炸虾和葱，牛肉盖饭里面牛肉居然是Hackfleisch 而且饭很少都是菜叶填充容量。第一次发现韩料竟然可以做得这么低成本！性价比不高的餐厅。

Schlechtestes koreanisches Essen, das ich je hatte. Zum einen völlig geschmacklos - schmeckt einfach wie uncle bens Hühnchen süß sauer - zum anderen war mein Hühnchen EISKALT innen drin. Hier wird einfach tiefgefrorenes aufgewärmt und dafür 12.50€ verlangt.

Laut Webseite ist hier bis 22 Uhr geöffnet und bis 21 Uhr 30 gibt es warme Küche. Wir sind heute extra hingefahren und waren kurz nach 9 da. Da hat der MA uns gesagte sie sind schon geschlossen, wir waren auch nicht die einzige, die vor 9 Uhr 30 weggeschickt wurden. Echt schade.

Hatte jetzt ein paar mal Bibimbap, Kimchi und Mandu und werde mit Sicherheit noch die anderen Gerichte probieren. Vielen Dank für die freundliche Bedienung 😊 und das leckere Essen! Das macht echt gute Laune 😊

Es ist immer lecker und schnell fertig! Es gibt ein kleine Auswahl an Koreanischen Getränken. Ich persönlich würde mich über etwas mehr Auswahl der Getränke freuen. Man kann das Essen auch zum mitnehmen bekommen. Man kann problemlos mit Karte bezahlen.

Ich liebe das Bibimbap am meisten. Vegetarische Optionen gibt es hier auch. Vlt. eher eine Art Bistro statt 100% authentische Koreanische Küche. Es schmeckt mir jedenfalls zu 100%. Oft setze ich mich mit diesem Gericht in die Markthalle und schaue mir die Leute an.

Die guten Bewertungen sind mir schleierhaft. Ich gehe oft und gerne koreanisch essen, aber das was das schlechteste koreanische Essen, das ich je hatte. Hat nach nichts geschmeckt, kaum gewürzt. Gefühlt nur rote Bohnenpaste. War vorher mehrmals dort nach 15 Uhr und es gab kaum noch was zu essen.

Freundliche Mitarbeiterin aber sie hat Beef in Bibimbap vergessen!!! 10€ gezahlt nur für Gemüse!!!

Super leckere Gerichte! Portionen sind sehr groß, man wird also auf jeden Fall satt. Super viel Geschmack, ganz eigen und auch ordentlich scharf! :) Preis Leistung ist perfekt. Zusätzlich schöne Atmosphäre in der Markthalle.

Auswahl war nur noch klein, da es schon 19Uhr war. Hatten beide ein Bimibap, was ich normalerweise nicht gewählt hätte. Foto davon ist irreführend, da darauf wirklich viel Varianz und Gemüse zu sehen ist. Viel Reis, der wie in anderen Kommentaren erwähnt wirklich nicht der Beste ist. Verhältnis Reis zu Gemüse daneben. Ein Löffel geraspelte Möhren, Eisbergsalat und etwas eingelegte Gurke. Die Pilze mußte man auch suchen. Da man es mischen muss wegen der Soße kann man nicht einen Teil vom Reis weglassen beim Essen. Viel zuckerige Soße die man braucht, da es sonst keinen Geschmack hat. Auch mit der Soße fast keinen. Muß aber auch sagen, dass ich die milde Variante hatte. Für eine Schale schlechten Reis mit süßer Soße ist der Preis zu hoch. Jedes belegte Brötchen ist geschmacklich besser. Das Bimibap mit Rinderhack war etwas besser. Bedienung sehr freundlich.

I ordered Maru‘s Chicken! (maru’s chicken can be only ordered every Thursdays start from 18:00) It was really delicious, they also gave me plastic handgloves so that I could eat it without mess. I really loved it and enjoyed it.

Toller Streetfood Stand bzw. Kleines Restaurant in der Markthalle 8 . Extrem schmackhafte koreanische Gerichte, z. B. Bibimbap mit Beef oder die Ramyun mit Kimchi. Sehr freundliches Personal! Empfehlung.

I'd give it a 0 if I could. Chicken dishes are dry and tasteless. The rice, which shouldn't be rocker science was so disappointing. My asian ancestors are crying. Please revise your concept of "Korean Food".

Sehr leckeres Bibimbap! Auf Wunsch komplett vegan und auch auf weitere Extrawünsche wurde direkt und sehr zuvorkommend eingegangen. Sehr freundliches Personal, das mir sogar Tipps gegeben hat, falls mein Rückweg sehr lang wäre und mein Gericht kalt würde. Komme bestimmt wieder, um die weiteren veganen Gerichte zu probieren! :]

Ich hatte das Bibimbap mit Beef und es war mega lecker! Die Portion reicht völlig aus, um satt zu werden und man hat danach überhaupt kein Völlegefühl. Das Personal war auch super nett! Ich werde in meiner Mittagspause auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Wer in Bremen ist muss hier unbedingt hin. So ein netter freundlicher ,,Koch,, Das Kimchi ist super lecker.

Definitiv das beste Essen welches man hier bekommen kann, bin mittlerweile wöchentlich hier zum Essen. Personal ist auch absolut freundlich, würde mehr Sterne geben, wenn es möglich wäre :D

Wenn ihr mal super lecker und koreanisch essen möchtet, dann kann ich euch das Maru nur empfehlen!! Wir hatten das Chicken Tangsujuk, den Mandu Teller und das Bibimbap. Sooo lecker, super nettes Team, tolles Ambiente, wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir haben schon häufig hier gegessen und dadurch schon sehr viel probiert. Sämtliche Speisen haben uns immer sehr sehr gut geschmeckt und wir werden weiter herkommen. Fur mich der beste Koreaner in der Stadt! Besondere Empfehlung: die chicken Wings Die gibt es nicht immer aber die sind der absoluter Hammer!!

Befindet sich in der Markthalle Acht. Koreanisches Fast/Streetfoodkonzept mit wechselnder Auswahl vegetarischer und nichtvegetarischer Gerichte. Hier gelingt der Spagat zwischen Streetfoodcharakter und sauber geführtem Gastronomiebetrieb, die angebotenen Speisen wirken authentisch, auch der Geschmack ist nicht zu angepasst.

Wir waren mit drei Personen hier Essen. Geschmack ist ja immer schwierig zu beurteilen....Das Gemüse in der Suppenschüssel war mit dem Rinderhackfleisch eine gute Kombi. Aber der Reis war im Verhältnis bei dem Preis zu viel und gruselig. Auch Reis kann den Unterschied machen. Hier ist die Reisqualität echt schlecht. Zum Teilen haben wir Teigtaschen geordert. Leider war der Fleischlose Inhalt total zerkocht und fade im Geschmack. Da würde ein richtiger Koch sicher gute Tipps geben können.

Freundliche Bedienung, super leckeres Essen schnell serviert, was will man mehr. Ich war schon öfter dort und habe auch den wechselnden Mittagstisch probiert. Gleich fahre ich dort wieder hin und lass mich überraschen was es heute gibt. :-)

eine vermeintliche Wundertüte an unterschiedlichsten Zutaten und Geschmacksrichtungen, ABER wenn man alles wirklich gut durchmischt, ist es UNSAGBAR KÖSTLICH! Ich bestelle es gern extra scharf,... meiner Meinung nach muss man es unbedingt mit Ei bestellen und wirklich richtig gut durchmischen... Einfach lecker, deftig und geschmacklich total super,.. ein wenig, wie Kinderessen, weil man alles durchmanschen darf

Wir waren im September 18 mit unserem Sohn im Maru Bremen essen. Das Maru hat seinen liebevoll eingerichteten Stand in der Markthalle 8 in Bremen. Maru punktet jedoch nicht nur mit seine authentischen Optik... Alle Gerichte nehmen einen mit in ein neues Geschmackserlebnis das Mann von keine anderen Küche kennt und Mann kann zusehen wie das bestellte Gericht mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet wird. Durch das tolle Ambient der Markthalle gepaart mit dem super essen des Maru ist es immer einen Besuch wert. Für die die Markthalle nicht kennen: Hier gibt es viele verschiedene Stande aus allen erdenklichen Herkunftsländern. Auch Steckdosen und WLAN ist vorhanden für den der es braucht. PS: der Junior hat hier dann auch seine Pizza am Stand gegenüber bekommen ;-).

Ciekawy punkt gastronomiczny zlokalizowany w samym centrum starego miasta w Bremie na parterze Markethalle. Kuchnia koreańska, przygotowywana przez Koreańczyków, ceny niemieckie ;) Jedzenie smaczne (zupa mocno pikantna), widać że cieszy się powodzeniem. Polecam.

브레멘 Markthalle에는 맛집들 이 옹기종기 모여있는데 그중에서도 이곳 '마루'는 독보적입니다. 김밥, 라면, 만두와 같은 분식부터 육개장, 비빔밥, 제육덮밥 같은 식사메뉴까지 모두 훌륭해요. 브레멘 가면 항상 가는 곳 중 하나입니다.

Außerhalb von Korea habe ich noch nie so eine authentische koreanische Küche gesehen wie bei diesem Stand! Wirklich angenehme Atmosphäre und super Ambiente! Zu 100% empfehlenswert und super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Unbedingt vorbeischauen wenn man mal in Bremen ist und in die koreanische Küche vernarrt ist!
