Waldschänke in Moers

We would like to eat at the Waldschänke more often because the food there is very good and the staff is also very attentive. Unfortunately, there are WAY too few parking spaces. The few parking spaces in front of the restaurant are actually a piece of forest and all visitors park on the narrow little street, so that no other car can pass there and residents regularly come into the restaurant and cars have to be driven away, which is very un-relaxing when you are in peace want to go out to eat. The owner would definitely have to find a solution here

We regularly go to the Waldschänke. The price-performance ratio is simply unbeatable! You get a high-quality 3-course menu including a small appetizer from the kitchen. The courses are always well thought out and a culinary surprise. Requests are always taken into account. This is a really good place to go for special occasions or if you want to treat yourself to an excellent dinner. In terms of price, the whole thing is completely justified and fair. We love the Waödschänke!

Absolute insider tip that hopefully won't stay secret for long. From the outside you wouldn't expect what you'll find inside. A real recommendation. We were surprised with delicious starters and really tasty desserts for the main courses and suddenly the price for the main course was almost too cheap. Our TV chefs (Rosin, Süßer & Co.) would say: great modern plate language. Everything just fit. Portion sizes just right, not overloaded and not just mint leaves on a plate. Thumbs up and keep it up. I'm happy to accept the 30km journey here.

A very cozy and professional atmosphere. Always with an eye on the guest and very relaxed staff. I really like the concept, there are always changing starters and desserts and you can choose from delicious main courses of steak, pasta and fish with sophisticated side dishes. Cozy restaurant which is also a bit remote. There is also a terrace outside for eating outside. Nice courteous staff. The prices for the dishes are slightly higher, but the quality is top 1A+*****. Before the main course, an aperitif snack and a starter are served, followed by a dessert. Definitely recommended.

How Bums can get such high ratings for its food is beyond our comprehension. Apart from the fact that the man exhibits such anti-social behavior and acts as if he were taking drugs, the cooking wasn't far off. Partly underseasoned and the quality is far from good. My steak was well done even though I ordered medium. When I complained and asked for a new one, Marco wanted to tell me that the steak was medium. Such behavior is impossible. Only after a long discussion was I given a new one. My wife's salad was poorly washed and had some very wilted lettuce leaves attached. The fried potatoes were full of fat and were just too pale. The prices are unreasonably high for both the food and drinks and the portions are simply too small. Once and never again.

In one word AWESOME... If you ever want to be spoiled wild then this is HIGHLY recommended, thanks again for your attention to the food & service, chapeau🍀🤸👌🙏🥰.

A real insider tip in Moers! From the outside the restaurant looks very inconspicuous, but from the inside it is beautifully furnished and the size of only around 8 tables means there is a cozy atmosphere. The service was great, patient and warm. Every course was lovingly prepared and a taste highlight :) We will definitely be back!

Rather inconspicuous from the outside, the Waldschänke surprises with great, high-quality food friendly service! I was here for the second time today because we moved to Moers, and it was wonderful again. We had a delicious meal and a toast for my birthday. The food is high quality, special and very tasty. I love being surprised with starters and desserts. The fillet steak with white truffle was buttery tender. The service is also friendly and attentive. Certainly not our last visit ☺️

The Waldschänke is an excellent restaurant that can be recommended without reservation. Here you feel comfortable from the first to the last minute and can enjoy the excellent food. The menu has something for everyone and the prices are reasonable and there is plenty of parking available.

The quality of the food convinced us to come back. There is a star deduction for the ambience, we sat in the entrance area, every time the outside door was opened cold air came in, which made the stay uncomfortable. Maybe a solution can be found for this.

We were here for the first time. As the pictures already reveal, it's not visually outstanding 😉. We also didn't understand the concept of only ordering the main course. Bread, a starter and a dessert come from the house. But the most important thing: EVERYTHING was great and impressive! A perfect steak, fish, pasta, Iberico, all superbly prepared. And for the overall performance, the price was absolutely fair.

The food is extremely tasty, nice service and a nice ambience. Always a pleasure when you're in the area. You can't go wrong with the restaurant. Everyone will find something here.

Wir waren heute mit der Familie dort essen und es war wirklich super. Kleines, abgelegenes Häuschen. Service sehr nett, gehen auf Wünsche ein und das Essen wirklich ganz toll angerichtet. Wir waren sehr überrascht und waren nicht das letzte mal dort.

Hervorragende Speisen. Sehr lecker und unglaublich kreativ angerichtet. Auch wenn die Gerichte etwas teurer sind so ist doch immer eine Vorspeise und ein Nachtisch inklusive. Ich kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Man sollte sich auf keinen Fall vom äußeren Schein trügen lassen. Mega Service.

Malerisches Häuschen, kleine familiäre gehobene italienische kreative Küche, sehr freundlicher Kellner, guter Koch, der auf individuelle Wünsche eingeht.

Eines der besten Restaurants in Moers & Umgebung!

Wir waren durch Google das erste Mal vor Ort. Beim Blick in die Karte waren wit zuerst durch die Preise irritiert, da wir nicht gecheckt haben, dass uns ein ganzes Menü erwartet 😁. Das Essen war 1 a...jeder Gang. Wir waren restlos begeistert und nicht zum letzten Mal hier. Super Qualität und Geschmack. Wirklich empfehlenswert!!!

Wunderbar - Einzigartig - Überraschend Diese 3 Worte sagen eigentlich schon alles aus. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und suchen uns die Hauptspeisen aus. Dann gab es zuerst einen Gruß aus der Küche, Brotsticks mit herrlicher Knobicreme. Dann gab es die Vorspeise, eine Ricottakugel mit Linsen, super lecker und elegant angerichtet. Die Hauptspeisen waren auf den Punkt, die Steaks perfekt Medium und und der Fisch sehr schön glasig. Die Nachspeise war dann eine Creme mit Schokoladenstückchen. Jeder Wunsch wurde und von den Augen abgelesen. Wie hatten jeder 2 Getränke, jeweils ein alkoholisches und ein nicht alkoholisches. Zu viert waren wir unter 190€... das kann man preislich bei dieser Qualität nicht besser bekommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Immer wie ein kleiner Kurzurlaub! Waren bisher jedes Mal begeistert und kommen immer gern wieder. Die Atmosphäre ist einfach schön. Der Service ist super und mir fallen keinerlei Kritikpunkte ein.

Een top locatie, echte aanrader! We hebben er heerlijk gegeten en komen er zeker terug als we in de buurt zijn. Op de kaart staan alleen hoofdgerechten en buiten de kaart nog wat aanbevelingen van de chef. Voor en na gerecht is een verrassing en zit er gewoon bij evenals de heerlijk geroosterde broodjes en dipsaus vooraf. Wij hebben de aanbevelingen van de chef gehad en hebben gesmuld!

Das Essen war phantastisch 🤩🤩🤩 Man bekommt eine Vorspeise und eine Nachspeise dazu( im Preis enthalten) Sehr netter Service. Wir haben bei tollem Wetter draußen gegessen, es war wirklich sehr schön. Wir werden es bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Moers wiederholen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Leider kann man nur mit Bargeld bezahlen, da das Internet so schlecht ist, das die Transaktionen abbrechen. Da sollten die Anbieter in Moers mal was unternehmen, denn das ist aus der Zeit gefallen.

Gaumenschmaus in vollem Umfang!!!! Klasse Konzept und jeder Gang einfach grandios. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und es ist dort einfach was besonderes!!! Der Gast ist dort wirklich König und die Bedienung ist einem sehr zugewandt 😊👍🏼. Danke Euch sehr🙏🙂
