Angenehme Atmosphäre, guter Service, leckere Speisen. Die Preise sind den Speisen angemessen. Zu jedem Essen wurde eine Vorspeise und ein Nachtisch gereicht.

Die besten Spaghetti die ich jemals gegessen habe. Tolles Ambiente und super Sympathischer Chef, hier stimmt definitiv alles! Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Wir sind da regelmäßig zum Essen und jetzt ist mal eine Bewertung, überfällig. Es ist ein kleines Restaurant mit kleinem Biergarten und sehr schön gelegen. Das gesamte Team, ist super nett und das Essen, erste Sahne. Wir haben noch NIE irgendwas zu bemängeln gehabt. Man muss wissen, dass die Preise inklusive Vorspeise und Dessert sind und es auch noch einen Gruß aus der Küche gibt, welcher aus Brot und hausgemachten Dip, besteht. Die Hauptspeise wählt man und Vor- und Nachspeise, ist immer eine Überraschung. Manche Vorspeise würden wir so nie bestellen, aber wir sind jedesmal überrascht, wie gut sie uns schmeckt. Das Fleisch ist immer auf den Punkt, die Nudeln selbst gemacht. Also, top!

Wir waren heute das erste in der Waldschänke, sind begeistert, alles sehr lecker und gut gemacht, es gab nichts das wir ändern würden, das ganze Team sehr nett, zuvorkommend und bemüht den Gästen recht zu machen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder, 100% empfehlenswert 👍 Danke an das gesamte Team der Waldschänke für den schönen Abend 👍 ... mal schauen ob ich noch ein paar Fotos von den leckeren Speisen 🙃 einstellen kann, ich hoffe das klappt später noch irgendwie. Steak für mich, Filet für meine Frau, beide mediterranes Gemüse und Drillinge, Garnelen usw usw, jeder eine andere Soße, aber beide mega lecker.

Ein rundum gelungener Abend! Das Ambiente ist unglaublich gemütlich und stilvoll, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Essen war absolut hervorragend – geschmacklich top, frisch zubereitet und liebevoll angerichtet. Dazu ein aufmerksamer Service, der den Aufenthalt perfekt macht. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und dabei angenehm unaufdringlich – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Wir sind heute an der Waldschänke zufällig vorbei gekommen . Wir baten spontan um einen Tisch , den wir auch bekamen. Wir bekamen ein Amuse-Gueule aus der Küche. Dann kam der erste Gang, wir waren hin und weg von dieser Köstlichkeit. Danach ein Hauptgang , so etwas leckeres hatte ich als Schnitzel noch nie gegessen. Danach kam der äusserste freundliche Kellner und teilte uns mit das wir für den Nachtisch noch Platz lassen sollten. Es war der Hammer oben drauf kam noch ein Limoncello Tartufo. Wir kommen definitiv wieder . Danke für den wundervollen Genuss

Tolles Ambiente, sehr guter Service und ausgezeichnetes Essen. War zu meinem Geburtstag hier und habe mir ein tolles Menü gegönnt. Etwas hochpreisig aber für das ausgezeichnete Menü absolut gerechtfertigt. Ich gebe lieber mehr Geld für ausgezeichnete Qualität, viel Geld für schlechte Erfahrungen muss ich nicht haben. Ein Besuch hier ist auf jeden Fall eine super Sache. Ich komme gerne wieder.

We enjoyed a wonderfully harmonious menu at the Waldschänke restaurant; from the appetizer to the dessert, everything was fresh, creative, and delicious. The service, in particular, deserves the highest praise: attentive, warm, and just the right amount of presence. The guys won our hearts with their kindness and hospitality. For us, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening; we'll definitely be back!

Great menu. Great atmosphere. Unfortunately, I can't eat there anymore. A meal for €35.90-€46.90 WITHOUT drinks is no longer within my budget. It's a shame...we were always happy customers. Today we had to leave the restaurant again due to the very high prices.

We have been to the Waldschänke twice so far and were more than satisfied.

The food was okay—but nothing more. During the main course, guests with dogs were seated. So we were able to enjoy our meal with the smell of dogs.

We came here because of the good reviews on Google. The place is cute and very cozy. We received a friendly welcome and were immediately unpleasantly surprised – there's a sign on the door stating that card payments aren't accepted. In the 21st century, in a restaurant with prices starting at €35.90... Sorry?! But okay, the restaurant doesn't want to install an EC card machine and offers customers without cash the option of issuing a bill that can be paid later. I would have liked to have seen this information on the website... Yes, and then everything was very relaxed, so I had the impression that you had to chase the waiter to get something served. They weren't in a hurry at all. It was unusual, though. But it was nice to see that they reacted professionally when we sent back two dishes because they were too salty. It can happen; we're all human, not everyone has the same taste. The waiter's reaction was good; one dish was replaced, and we had omitted the other, which was later removed from the bill – without discussion! Thank you very much for that. By the way, a small appetizer and dessert are included in the price. This means the menu prices aren't really any higher than in other restaurants.

We've now dined at the small but exquisite Waldschänke restaurant several times. I never take photos of the food! You'd have to be an artist to be able to lovingly paint the platters/plates served here. What Marco and his small team achieve is simply amazing. From the reception, service, recommendations, explanations, and so on... everything is just right. The ambiance, the atmosphere, the friendliness... you're like making friends here; and we're always happy to come back. We brought two of our adult children with us this time. Total enthusiasm and an explosion of flavors... the food was perfect. From the absolutely surprising starter, to the perfect main course, to the delicious dessert. Recommendation: 150% at least... we'll be back...

We've been there several times and have been really satisfied every time. The service is very nice and friendly. They start with bread and a really good dip, followed by a (constantly changing) starter, your choice of main course, and a (also changing) dessert. The quality is very good, and the portion sizes are absolutely top-notch. You shouldn't go here if you just want to grab a quick bite—but definitely if you want to have a nice, cozy evening with very good food! The steak and the homemade pasta were my favorites, but my girlfriend was also more than thrilled with her fish. We didn't think it was too expensive; you get a lot, and the quality is very good. You should budget around €35-50 per person for food and drinks, depending on your preferences. It's best to make a reservation in advance (especially if you're coming with more than 2-4 people). In summer, there's an outdoor terrace, where you can watch the sunset beautifully. Dogs are allowed here.

Six of us were there on a Friday evening and ate the set three-course menu. You can choose your main course. The starter and dessert are included in the price. It's all the same. The service was very friendly. The time management was good, and the food was above average. Highly recommended. We'd be happy to come back. It may not look like much from the outside, but it's a truly special place. You can also sit outside, which is lovely.

Payment in advance, only possible in cash. The price for the main courses is quite high, which is because you automatically get a starter and dessert. I didn't need either and all four of us found it pretty unimaginative. They were also unable to offer an alternative dessert. However, we all found the main course to be delicious. But all in all, our conclusion was that we won't eat there again.

Mega delicious food, a little more expensive but also something special

We were there on Valentine's Day and had a special 5 course meal for that day for 70€/person. All I can say is that it was definitely worth it, especially if you want to treat yourself to something special. However, if you have food restrictions, you may want to speak to the staff beforehand.

Were here for the first time and were very positively surprised by everything, so we will come back. We will change something, we were lucky to get a table this time, next time we will reserve a table in advance. We thank you for the good, special meal and the lovely evening. The Waldschänke is a very good restaurant that serves all main courses as a 3-course menu (you choose the main course and get the starter and dessert of the day). I've been to the Waldschänke a few times now and have never been disappointed. Regardless of whether it was a meat or fish dish, the cooking points were always perfect and the dishes were always delicious. The service is very friendly and attentive. Since the restaurant is usually busy, a table reservation is recommended.

We would like to eat at the Waldschänke more often because the food there is very good and the staff is also very attentive. Unfortunately, there are WAY too few parking spaces. The few parking spaces in front of the restaurant are actually a piece of forest and all visitors park on the narrow little street, so that no other car can pass there and residents regularly come into the restaurant and cars have to be driven away, which is very un-relaxing when you are in peace want to go out to eat. The owner would definitely have to find a solution here

We regularly go to the Waldschänke. The price-performance ratio is simply unbeatable! You get a high-quality 3-course menu including a small appetizer from the kitchen. The courses are always well thought out and a culinary surprise. Requests are always taken into account. This is a really good place to go for special occasions or if you want to treat yourself to an excellent dinner. In terms of price, the whole thing is completely justified and fair. Absolute insider tip that hopefully won't stay secret for long. From the outside you wouldn't expect what you'll find inside. A real recommendation. We were surprised with delicious starters and really tasty desserts for the main courses and suddenly the price for the main course was almost too cheap. Our TV chefs (Rosin, Süßer & Co.) would say: great modern plate language. Everything just fit. Portion sizes just right, not overloaded and not just mint leaves on a plate. Thumbs up and keep it up. I'm happy to accept the 30km journey here.

Cozy restaurant which is also a bit remote. There is also a terrace outside for eating outside. Nice courteous staff. The prices for the dishes are slightly higher, but the quality is top 1A+*****. Before the main course, an aperitif snack and a starter are served, followed by a dessert. Definitely recommended.

How Bums can get such high ratings for its food is beyond our comprehension. Apart from the fact that the man exhibits such anti-social behavior and acts as if he were taking drugs, the cooking wasn't far off. Partly underseasoned and the quality is far from good. My steak was well done even though I ordered medium. When I complained and asked for a new one, Marco wanted to tell me that the steak was medium. Such behavior is impossible. Only after a long discussion was I given a new one. My wife's salad was poorly washed and had some very wilted lettuce leaves attached. The fried potatoes were full of fat and were just too pale. The prices are unreasonably high for both the food and drinks and the portions are simply too small. Once and never again.

A real insider tip in Moers! From the outside the restaurant looks very inconspicuous, but from the inside it is beautifully furnished and the size of only around 8 tables means there is a cozy atmosphere. I was here for the second time today because we moved to Moers, and it was wonderful again. We had a delicious meal and a toast for my birthday. The food is high quality, special and very tasty.
