We found the restaurant by chance. It's somewhat secluded, nestled in the forest. The service is very friendly and prompt. The food is excellent. My only complaint is that the cheese spaetzle wasn't particularly cheesy.

Very fast, extremely friendly, and attentive service, and special requests are handled with a smile. The food tastes excellent and is beautiful to look at. Everything here is perfect. (To make room for the small portion of dessert, we also only ordered a small portion of schnitzel.) The portions are very generous.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined somewhat in recent years. Otherwise, it's beautifully situated by the forest and a great place to stop for a few drinks, especially in nice weather.

We were invited there for a birthday party, and the restaurant was very busy. The food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient; we received prompt and attentive service. We highly recommend the Waldgaststätte and would gladly return.

The service is truly abysmal. I've never experienced anything like it anywhere else. I'm definitely not going back. Update: A new owner and new service staff have since moved in. After being invited to a birthday party, I discovered that the atmosphere here is now very friendly, and the food is also good.

Very tasty food, nice ambiance, good service, reservations are recommended. On Tuesdays, there's a reasonably priced after-work menu, highly recommended.

I was greeted and served very friendly here, even though I only had a hot drink to warm up... Here you will find a restaurant that encourages you to stay. The food that was served to the guests in attendance looked great and smelled great... ...next time I'll bring a little more time...

The Schützenhaus is located behind the Ittersbach sports field and another restaurant (Acropolis). There is a parking lot directly at the inn or a forest parking lot in front of it. Nice large outdoor area with solid new wooden furniture. But cramped with beer benches and tables. Two rooms inside, including an adjoining room for large events. It gets loud quickly. Simple inn furniture. Seasonal decorations and fresh flowers. Very nice waitresses. Good home-style Sunday dinner like roast and schnitzel. A lot of things looked and tasted homemade (red cabbage), except for the sauces and mushrooms. Plenty of large portions. Unfortunately, the salad only had a little dressing at the bottom and some types were not dressed or only poorly dressed. Toilets are right at the entrance. No window or natural light. Continuous light. Clean. Two cabins for ladies.

The food and the service are first class, top quality food, the service is competent, quick and polite. Won't be the last time. Absolutely recommended

Yesterday we spontaneously had dinner there with friends, despite the confirmation, despite the full house...😉. we were served very friendly, there was only room outside on the terrace, but we weren't rejected, on the contrary, very nice and quick service. Very good food, simply great in terms of taste, good portions and yet very attractively presented. Great starter salads that come with most main courses. The house dessert plate is an absolute poem. we're looking forward to next time!

Perfect food at moderate prices with a daily and weekly menu, Fridays are a special day for foodies to grab a meal at a particularly reasonable price! Freshly made, the salad comes quickly and dessert is also provided! We've been there more than 10 times, in the beer garden in summer and in the restaurant in winter. Wine, beer, non-alcoholic, liquor and coffee; everything is there!

Gutes Lokal, mit gutbürgerlicher Küche im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Wir hatten Sonntags reserviert, das war auch nötig, alle Plätze waren belegt. Das Personal war trotz vollem Haus freundlich, die Geschwindigkeit absolut i.O. . Die Preise liegen auch absolut im Rahmen, für ein Cord & Bleu 19€, Kinderschnitzel 8,50€ , dass passt schon alles. Das Essen war wirklich super. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert hat es mir klasse geschmeckt. Ich komme gerne wieder und probiere dann mal den Außenbereich .

Ich war am 11.07.2023 zum Pilzstammtisch vom Pilz- und Wildkräuterverein Schömberg eingeladen. Das Haus und die Sonnenterrasse war voll. Trotzdem wurde wir schnell mit Essen und Getränke versorgt. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig und die Tageskarte war gut ausgewählt. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Tolles Essen, netter Service, alles top! Vor allem das Rumpsteak und die Fischplatte sind unfassbar gut!

Habe den Biergarten der Waldgaststätte Schützenhaus spontan besucht, es war ausreichend Platz vorhanden. Vielleicht auch deshalb war das Personal sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Bei Hopfenschorle und Wurstsalat konnte ich einem Bogenschützen beim Training zuschauen. Nett hier, gerne wieder.

Top. Trotz vollem Biergarten waren die Wartezeiten vollkommen in Ordnung.

Gutbürgerliche Gaststätte mit hervorragendem Essen, gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und aufmerksamer Bedienung. Im Sommer auch mit kleinem Biergarten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
