Höfel's MostGarten in Karlsbad

An idyllic spot in Spielberg, delicious tarte flambée and cider... always lovely!

Went there with a larger group on Father's Day in sensational weather. A wonderful property with a super great host and a great service team. Drinking cider for the first time in a long time, which reminded me of my childhood when we made cider ourselves. The small menu is completely sufficient and very tasty, especially the sausage salad. Had a wonderful afternoon and will definitely be back.

Went to the mulled cider on November 25th, 2023. Rüdiger has once again thrown himself into everything. Despite the bad weather, it was a pleasant evening. Anyone who enjoys apple cider will not be disappointed in terms of taste. The showmen present were also able to impress with their handiwork. 👍

We were here last year and this year too. There are even a few more tables and it's really nice there. You can eat delicious food (there isn't much vegetarian food, but you can find one or two things) and the drinks are also good. Personally, I'm a fan of Mosthugo.

A wonderfully located beer garden, or rather, cider garden. 😊 Beautifully quietly situated on the outskirts of Spielberg in an idyllic meadow landscape. This cider garden has been tastefully designed with great attention to detail. There are many lovely and cozy places to sit at Höfel, whether under cover, in the shade, or even in the sun. In this rustic setting, you'll quickly strike up a conversation with other guests, and the host himself enjoys sitting at his table with his guests or chatting casually with them while serving beer or on the way there. Höfel is self-service, but this is completely unproblematic due to the short distances and short waiting times. There are flammkuchen (tarte flambée) and various snack specialties, beautifully and lovingly presented. The liquid and namesake specialty, however, is the cider, which is available in various versions and is a wonderful thirst quencher. Especially on hot days, there's hardly anything better. I highly recommend Höfel's Mostgarten! We will be there often.

It's a beautiful place to sit, the food is delicious, and the staff is super friendly—we'll definitely be back.
