I can only recommend this restaurant! Great selection of food and drinks. Nice and attentive waitresses. Moderate prices. A little tip... Less is often more... for me artificial flowers are not the be-all and end-all... 1 fresh flower often works better. But otherwise: thumbs up!

No structure in the staff. Staff constantly mix up tables. Food was very seasonless. Sauce tasted like instant. Quantities differ from reality. Toilet very dirty.

We had class reunions with 20 people. Had a table where it was easy to talk. The food was served quickly so that we could all eat together. Everyone enjoyed it, everyone was happy. I ordered my roast medium rare and it came out perfect. We will come again. Price/performance was ok.

Delicious food in a somewhat outdated atmosphere. And it smells really strong like the food, so you definitely have to put your clothes in the laundry after your stay. Nevertheless, it is a great location and worth a detour. Best combined with a hike in the surrounding forest

There is a very nice and really tasty meal there. There is a playground for children and you can go for a nice walk after your meal. The boss and the staff are simply great, you always feel very comfortable in the Jägerhaus house

Dogs ran around freely in the restaurant and begged at the tables. Some of the chairs had small dogs. Starters were brought at different times or even after the main course. When asked, the answer was always OK and the service staff left again.

Ate here spontaneously and managed to get a table despite the house being fully booked. Very good food with great service and really good prices. We'll be back!!!:)

We decided to celebrate my husband's birthday at the Jägerhaus and what can I say...I'm thrilled! Super delicious champagne at the reception, exceptionally tasty appetizer platter and the various main courses tasted excellent! Thank you for the great hospitality, dear Jägerhaus team!

The food was really good. Price performance completely acceptable. The cinnamon parfait was an absolute dream (it could have been a little more). I felt very comfortable. Service was good, but a bit disorganized. Drinks were brought to the table individually (each individually to each person). Addendum: 10/16/24 Unfortunately I was only lucky with the service on that one evening. The other times I had to wait a long time for service.

I recommend the pork knuckle. 😁 Nice to sit out in the cool forest in summer. Very comfortable inside in winter too.

Went to a friendship meeting at the Jägerhaus today. The menu with lots of Swabian delicacies was the main reason. Where else can you get kidneys, liver and ox packages. The restaurant is located just outside Heilbronn in an idyllic location in the forest above the vineyards. The restaurant has a large beer garden and also extensive space in the restaurant. The menu mainly offers Swabian dishes and is supplemented by some Greek specialties. All in all very appealing! Ordering went smoothly and the drinks were served quickly. The food didn't take long to arrive either. All dishes tasted OK. Unfortunately the kidneys with side dishes were "clear". Although the ordering and serving worked great, the service was no longer available... so we were unable to order another drink or a second helping of the kidneys. The biggest drawback in my opinion are the toilets. When you get to the stairwell you can follow the smell... that's not possible!

Food without rating because nothing was eaten. Everything else is absolutely recommended.

I've been coming here for as long as I can remember, and since it's been in Greek hands, even 🐕 are welcome, since our Pebbles is Greek, she's of course happy to come. Even if you can't afford to eat out as often anymore, it's still an all-round carefree package that you'll be happy to stay and come back to. Thanks to the entire team for their effort and commitment in such an unsettled, difficult time.

We were invited there for a birthday on the holiday. I was shocked when I saw all the cars and we had to park on swampy paths in the forest. The place is completely overcrowded and loud. The three of us went back with our dog. I can't understand what's so special here. I imagine having a leisurely meal is something other than having to shout at the person sitting at the table to make sure you are understood. Sorry, you have to give one star, but for me it's already too much.

I was here for the first time today with my family. The service was very friendly and attentive. The drinks also came very quickly. The main course from the daily menu was very tasty, the veal was medium rare and the chutney sauce was sweet, spicy and also sour. The stuffed dumplings were amazing. I would have loved to order the dish again. The ambience is very nice. Everything here has already been covered with beautiful autumn decorations, which is why everything looks very cozy and inviting. You should definitely make a reservation because it was really busy. That's my only negative point because it gets a bit loud.

Come every year to celebrate a birthday with at least 30 people. It's never really been convincing until now. Food usually arrives cold. Service otherwise quite okay. Small playground right next door. There are enough parking spaces available. Access confusing on Sundays and public holidays.

Super nice location. In the summer months we like to meet here for dinner with the family. Because the forest makes it cooler and more pleasant in summer, like other beer gardens. And the gastro concept is also great. In the outdoor area you order everything with a table number at the drinks counter and food is delivered to your table. Food is great and the price is justified. There is also some fun for children on the left side, as there is a small playground next to it.

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary here yesterday with our daughters and dog. Super nice staff, everyone was very, very friendly. Food was also very good, a great lunch.

My fries were too salty and the complaint was downplayed. After that we were ignored and no longer served. When paying, the service employee was very unfriendly. When he didn't get a tip because of the not so good food and the bad service, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Very full, food goes like this - roast roast tastes good for a woman, it's too small for a man... the sauce is terrible, the onion is mushy and the spaetzle is of course not homemade, it would be far too time-consuming according to the service and the advertised iced tea creations from the extra menu were then on Demand was no longer available in that flavor... Schnitzel was colorless and cheesy and the fries were rather cold. It's a shame, top location, great destination but unfortunately no taste pleasure. Not cheap either and for unsatisfactory food you can't even call it good middle-class cuisine, let alone more upscale cuisine. We cannot recommend it nor will we visit it again.

I would prefer to give 0 stars for the service. We were there with a larger group (previously reserved). After our meal we went outside to take a family photo. We let them know we'd be back soon. When we came back, one of our tables was simply given to other guests. So we didn't have enough seats and were forced to leave! The great thing was that when we paid, there were dishes and drinks on our bill that we definitely didn't order. At the end we were asked to sit at another table so that this table could also be given to other guests. If we make reservations in advance with a large group and then there are bottlenecks with other reservations during the day, we can communicate in advance that the reservation is time-limited. That wouldn't have been a problem, but simply taking reserved tables away from us and then bringing the wrong bill is not possible!

After a long 7 weeks of hospital treatment and rehab, FINALLY ate a delicious hamburger. Nice. I liked it. It's worth repeating!! ;')

The atmosphere in the Jägerhaus is really nice and offers a lot of space. I can imagine that it's really nice outside in the summer because there's a lot of space and there's a playground with a trampoline. The food was really nicely presented and there was a great selection of food and drinks. There was also a large selection of cakes. The waiters were all super nice. The toilets were clean.

At the beginning of the season, top service and excellent food (pork knuckle, onion roast), then booked a birthday dinner for a larger group during the season. Result: no reserved table available, service staff overwhelmed when taking orders, food delivered over a period of several minutes instead of for everyone together. Apologies made after information. Unfortunately, the Wiener Schnitzel (no butter taste, very dry breading that stuck to the meat) and the Greek liver (overcooked, tough with dry potatoes) remained negative memories for a long time. 5 points the first time and 1 point this time give an average of 3 points. We'll try again at the end of the season...

Very tasty food. Freshly prepared. Very good meat and great sauces. I have a few points of criticism: Spaetzle? Why can't you get fresh spaetzle in Heilbronn anymore? 😕 And: the sauce was really sparing for the roast. I would have liked to have had more. However, no waiter was available. The waiting time. Yes, it was fresh and yes, it was full. But making two kids wait over an hour for spaetzle with sauce... I don't know. The roast roast, which was ordered medium, was significantly colder than the schnitzel, steak and Heilbronn favorite dish, but this wasn't a problem thanks to the quality of the meat. It was packed. There were five of us sitting at a table for four. My husband dropped the full dip off the board. It wasn't replaced or anything like that. Conclusion: good cuisine. Great concept. But there is still room for improvement when it comes to side dishes and service. (At least when the hut is full)

Celebrated my mother's 94th birthday. Friendly service, good food and the surrounding area is great, there are also good play opportunities for children and a children's menu.

Very nice location with delicious food, nice staff and a large parking lot in nature. There are various hiking trails here including an educational trail. You should book in advance on weekends and holiday periods! 👍 Recommended.

Nice to sit. The food is delicious

Was the last time we were there. Unfortunately they have been dismantled. The service was okay, unfortunately a bit slow but good. You can understand it when there's a lot going on. But the food... onion roast was really bad. The sauce resembled a thin, tasteless soup. The meat was tough. Rarely have something so bad been served... the rest of the food was average. The only nice thing is the ambience outside. No more...

“Decent portions”, delicious fries, schnitzel ok and what else I saw at the table was also ok. The ambience is like that - as it is in a beer garden at this time of year. But no reason to complain. Ordering at the kiosk was quick and very friendly despite there being a lot of people. You didn't have to wait long for the food either. I've had a much worse experience with significantly fewer guests. Overall great and gladly again.

They always love being in the Jägerhaus. Great atmosphere and we always feel at home in the beer garden or in the restaurant. There is a nice playground for the little ones and you can also take the dog for a walk through the forest 👍

Food wasn't a big hit, it was lukewarm Wheat beer is a bit expensive at €4.90.

One of the best beer gardens in Heilbronn. Good beer and good food. It's very comfortable to sit in and there are plenty of free parking spaces. In the middle of the forest, on hot days, life is good. Therefore, a clear recommendation from me.

We ate very well, service was great and the children were able to pass the time on the playground 🤗. Everything was very clean and tidy. We will come back.

If you love nature, away from traffic and in the middle of nature, this is the right place! Immediately a fantastically beautiful playground for the kids... what more could parents want?

We love going to the large beer garden in summer. There is self-service there. You can sit nicely in the shade of the trees. Food is okay and the staff is nice.

It looks nice but there's nothing special anymore. You have to go out and order the drinks yourself, but you pay as much as you would in a restaurant for the food, which arrived cold anyway. My onion roast was made from pork. “Medium” is a foreign word, as several “beef” steaks arrived well-done, including the “pork roast”. And the €6 water FROM THE TEARS OF OSIRIS???? I don't even want to start. Conclusion: NO! For the beer garden!

Instead of a veal schnitzel I got pork. The salad plate was also very poor, a small spoonful of potato salad and otherwise almost only green salad, no cucumber salad, no tomato salad. That was all better. The crème brulee was tiny. It was very disappointing.

My grandparents ate here today because we gave them a voucher worth €60 for Christmas (3x€20). This local refused to redeem the vouchers, despite them being valid. The waiter's reason was “We don't like people paying with vouchers”. The people at the next table were also outraged by this incompetence and got involved. A real disgrace that pensioners are being ripped off.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and were completely satisfied. friendly staff, excellent service, wonderfully decorated wedding table, excellent food, we can only recommend it 👍

Service is good, food is served relatively quickly, but the quality of the food leaves something to be desired. The knuckle for €19.90 is not long-cured, very cheap meat, which is reflected in the taste. The restaurant is well located for walks after dinner.

Had lunch with family today, September 10th, 2021 and was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the portions were great, the waiter was very good friendly and nice. I can recommend the pork knuckle. On July 17th, 2022 again for a pork knuckle dinner in a beautiful setting It was summer weather, unfortunately the joy was marred a little by lots of wasps. The portion and the taste made up for everything. I thought of it quickly To take a photo before the knuckle disappears into thin air. Ordered something delicious again today on June 9th, 2024. Pork knuckles... delicious

After around 3 years, we were there again in a group for dinner to test the restaurant under the new operator and were very satisfied! Much better than under previous operators. 👍🏻 The service staff were very good, friendly and in a good mood, and we were all very happy with the food 👍🏻👍🏻 Definitely RECOMMENDABLE again now!

Unfortunately, according to the waiter, the dish that was offered on the online menu and that I was really looking forward to was no longer on offer for a long time.

In some cases, but really only in part, individual service staff are unreliable, probably due to linguistic misunderstandings.

Called today and asked for a table. Driven there, then we were put in the freezing cold next room. Nobody comes. After 15 minutes I asked for a card. Was brought. Nobody comes to at least get drinks. After 25 minutes we left without having accomplished anything. Seems to be a new owner who doesn't believe in service.

It's really bad here! The guy at the checkout with glasses is completely overwhelmed and rude. You don't order another side dish just for fun. The answer to that is: "I'm not writing the card for free." Rarely have I experienced such anti-social behavior. If my companion is allergic to certain foods or additives, there is a reason why they would like to order another side dish. Luckily I didn't order anything here! Never again! Not even worth a star with such monsters. And last but not least, the gentleman said that I should be careful otherwise I'll have a problem.😂 Because a temporary worker served me. I said “at least he understands me.” And the monster then said “as a temporary worker he has very little to say here”. When you talk about your colleagues or employees like that, it says it all!

Spontaneous visit. Been here again after a few years. Beer garden atmosphere. A good selection of dishes and drinks, but not typical of a beer garden. The food was very tasty. Hardly any waiting time. The food is brought to the table and the drinks are available at the ordering station. Here you pay for everything straight away. Staff friendly.

Uniquely located restaurant above the rooftops of Heilbronn. The service staff is very accommodating, all dishes were excellent. The size of the portions and the quality are perfect here! There are great wines on top! There is a nice playground for the children and after dinner you can take a walk in the Heilbronn Forest.

Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Large playground and large beer garden. Also a nice place to take a walk.

If the saying goes that you can judge the quality of the kitchen by looking at the toilet, you shouldn't eat there. In the men's toilet there is only one light for three toilets, in the middle toilet. The glasses are old, although you could get new ones at Aldi for €10 - they're not sticky. I could also see the imprint of my sole on the floor and it was stuck there. So at least the cleaner needs to be changed. I had nothing to complain about about the food, very good meat, spaetzle, sauce. Five stars appropriate for the price. Finally brings the rest to the same quality!

After my little hike, it was really nice to head to a destination. I was very positively surprised by the atmosphere and clientele. Great events are also offered. All in all, a harmonious all-round offer.
