The food was very good. We'll be back.

It was bombastic as always. The schnitzel with chanterelles was perfect, as was the smoked matjes with fried potatoes. I can only recommend everyone to go there often and it's really nice and I'm especially looking forward to chatting outside in the summer

Very nicely located, in the middle of the forest, and a very nice hiking area, we went for a walk after dinner, next time we'll do it the other way around.

Friendly service, the food (baked potato with salad, 12.40 euros) was tasty. Cozy beer garden. We would come back again.

It's nice for me because it's in the forest and you can sit outside in the summer.

Unfortunately there isn't a big vegetarian selection, but it's very tasty and a good portion so you don't have to leave half of it behind. Instead of the non-alcoholic wheat, one with alcohol was brought, but that was immediately exchanged without discussion. Ambiance is super good and really nice for the children to play☺️ Special requests for food (such as leaving out onions or tomatoes) are all taken into account. The staff and cook were super friendly.

Went for a walk nearby today and stopped in for a coffee. Even though it was raining, they opened the parasol for us so that we, smokers, could sit outside. That was really great. As soon as we sat down, the sun came out and we were able to enjoy the delicious apple cake with cream and a strawberry cup, and the coffee was also good. Price performance is completely okay. Many thanks to the team we will come again

We came here almost by chance with friends after hiking in the area. A very cozy place in the middle of the forest, with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. The food is so home-style, there are many schnitzel varieties to choose from, but overall it is quite tasty and the prices are okay. For vegetarians there are two options other than salads, based on potatoes.

A nice forest restaurant in the middle of nature on beautiful hiking trails! Here you can sit beautifully in a winter garden and eat or, in the summer, sit comfortably outside surrounded by nature.

A bit surprising given all the reviews. Now the second time I've been there for the spit roast, the staff is lame and could make more sales if they would take care of the guests... (there were hardly any guests there!) then you can also be told that you haven't eaten enough impudence. Food is absolutely fine. Catering is catastrophic.

A very nice excursion restaurant in the middle of the forest. Good home cooking and very good service. We had a very nice seat by the window. Since I am a vegetarian, I can only tell meat eaters that the food at the next tables looked very appetizing 😉

Beautiful restaurant located in the forest. Inside it is very cozy and invites you to linger. In summer you can spend nice hours in the beer garden. The food is good, home-style and the service is friendly and attentive. Overall, you feel in good hands. We'd love to come back.

Spit roast is always a highlight! Great, cozy atmosphere around the open fire! Great for clubs, company outings or just celebrating a birthday in a different way!

Nette Bedienung , aber 3 € für eine 0,2 l Cola fand ich schon sehr übertrieben.

Durch Zufall dort gelandet waren vorher im Freilichtmuseum und wollten noch einen Kaffee trinken wir sind so hin und weg und haben ein schönes Stückchen Erde gefunden...super Biergarten super Personal und tolle Speisen und Getränke...wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen....

Essen war super lecker, Personal sehr freundlich und schnell und das Ambiente war top. Vielen Dank für den unvergesslichen Abend ❤️

Das Spießbratengrillen war ein sehr schönes Event. Die Angestellten waren sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker

Nettes Personal, schöne Umgebung, Essen rustikal aber gut. Kommen bestimmt wieder.

Seit Jahren sind wir hier abends zum Grillen, sowie gestern auch. Aufgrund einer größeren Veranstaltung, war es nicht so idyllisch wie sonst. Trotzdem alle Hüte ab vor den tollen Mitarbeitern, die trotz allem freundlich geblieben sind. Die Gruppe, die dem Alkohol sehr zugesprochen hatte, vor Allem eine der Damen, haben uns den Abend ein wenig versäuert. Trotzdem kommen wir gerne wieder! :)

Sehr freundliches Personal, auch wenn es voll ist, hat das Personal alles gut im Griff. Wir kommen sehr gerne her. Gestern waren wir auch da, allerdings war da eine sehr große Gruppe, dessen Benehmen zu Wünschen übrig ließ. Mit zunehmenden Alkoholgenuss vor allem die Dame mit dem roten Kleid wurde es immer lauter und renitenter. Die Mitarbeiter konnten einem nur leid tun, bei gleichbleibender Freundlichkeit. Mein Mann war über das Benehmen sehr entsetzt, da er sich mit einem der Gäste unterhalten hat und ihm mitgeteilt wurde, sie wären vom Ordnungsamt. Aber wir kommen immer wieder gerne her.

Leider in so ein schönes Naturparadies sehr schlechte Bedienung schlecht gelaunt und unhöflich Spießbraten okay Beilagen lassen zu Wünschen über war so eine große Gesellschaft die auch richtig verzerrt haben hätte ich einfach mehr erwartet.

Schön gelegen und rund herum gute Wanderwege. Gut bürgerliche Küche mit zivilen Preisen und lecker. Kann ich empfehlen

Wir waren mit mehreren Gästen zum Spießbraten-Grillen in der Waldgaststätte. Es hat allen gut gefallen. Essen und Getränke waren gut. Als Ausflugslokal zu empfehlen.

Fisch sollte man vermeiden, einfach nicht gut zubereitet und die Frische fehlt. Selbst die Kartoffeln sahen nach gekauften aus dem Glas aus

Wunderschönes und idyllisches Lokal. 5 Sterne sind fast zu wenig. Essen sehr gut und geschmackvoll, sehr freundliches Personal und die Chefin hat immer ein offenes Ohr für die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse Ihrer Gäste. Hervorragende Lage mitten im Wald …was will man mehr 👍👍.

Ist es so schwer hier rein zu schreiben wenn man ‚mal nen Tag zu macht‘? Echt ärgerlich: 2h hingelaufen und an der Tür steht ‚heute geschlossen‘ an nem Freitag am langen Wochenende. Danke.

Die Speisekarte ist sehr übersichtlich, dafür war das Essen umso überraschender. Mein Schnitzel bekommt von mir volle Fünf Sterne. Mein Beilagensalat hatte irgendwie einen leichten Geschmack nach Senf. Lecker !!!! Wir kommen ganz klar wieder.

Es war einfach mega schön . Ich freue mich schon , auf den nächsten Besuch und hoffentlich kann man dann im Biergarten sitzen .

Heute mal wieder dort gewesen, wie immer super lecker gegessen. Die Eierlikör-Kirsch-Torte ist der Burner. Ausgezeichneter Service. Nur zu empfehlen. Bis bald
