Kombiniert mit Busfahrt. Spargel satt. Essen sehr lecker. Alles wurde ständig nachgereicht. Das Service Personal sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Rustikales Gasthaus aus einer Zeit vor unserer Zeit, aber mit viel Charme. Der Service ist super und die Speisenauswahl zwar nicht übermäßig groß, aber für jeden etwas dabei. Preise sehr adäquat. Hervorzuheben ist, dass es von fast jedem Gericht einen Seniorenteller gibt. Reservierung erforderlich.

Wir waren in der Waldgaststätte Eckernworth, die idyllisch im Wald unweit des Heidemuseums Walsrode gelegen ist, essen und waren rundum begeistert. Wir hatten das Cordon Bleu mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat sowie zum Nachtisch Eis mit heißen Kirschen sowie Erdbeeren. Alles war einfach köstlich und schmeckte uns sehr gut. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und schnell. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass sich der Chef, Herr Meyer, persönlich gemeinsam mit seinem Team darum kümmert, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen und alles zu ihrer Zufriedenheit ist. Das Restaurant überzeugt zudem mit seiner besonderen Lage im Wald, einem eigenen Fischteich und sogar einer eigenen Heidschnuckenherde. Ein wirklich schönes und einzigartiges Erlebnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können die Waldgaststätte Eckernworth in Walsrode absolut weiterempfehlen!

Sehr lecker dort. Bei gutem Wetter auch draußen in der Sonne genießen. Einfach toll.

Trotz Andrang durch zwei große Ausflugsbusse war die Bedienung ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Essen war lecker, ich hatte den Zander. Der war sehr gut und der Gurkensalat als Beilage war auch prima.

Schneller und freundlicher Service, gut geeignet für große Gruppen, haben alles in Griff, schön gelegenes Lokal in Walsrode, Parkplätze vorhanden, Außenterasse überdacht , gutes Essen für jeden Geschmack

Leider war die Gaststätte am Freitag,geschlossen...sehr schade das es nirgends ein Hinweis stand.Somit kann man keine richtige Bewertung abgeben.

Man bekommt, was man erwartet. Fleisch war Top! Pommes zunächst etwas weich. Bratkartoffeln etwas zu fettig, aber lecker.

Solide Speisen, freundliche und gut geschulte Mitarbeiter und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen über einen Verein in dem Lokal, das Essen wurde über den Verein vorab ausgewählt, es gab Krustenbraten, Rotkohl, Mixgemüse, Kartoffeln und eine undefinierbare helle Soße, der Krustenbraten war ein Schwabbelbraten ( beim Krustenbraten fehlte die Kruste), zum Ende gab es dann Kassler Nacken - obwohl nicht bestellt, gab es auch keine Hinweise das es jetzt anderes Fleisch gibt. Der Kellner war für eine feine Nase eine Zumutung. Der Nachtisch war das Highlight- Eis mit warmen Kirschen.

Ich hatte Grünkohl und meine Frau Ente. Beides lecker.

Wir waren eine Busgesellschaft zum Gänsebraten. Es hat alles prima geklappt. Der Service war aufmerksam und flott. Das Essen war sehr gut reichlich und sehr gut.

Wir waren hier mit dem Reisebusunternehmen Möller aus Neumünster. Es gab Spargel satt mit Sauce Hollandaise oder Butter dazu Schinken oder Schnitzel und Kartoffeln. Am Nachmittag schmeckten uns Torte plus Kaffee dazu. Das Personal war hervorragend. Meine leere Thermoskanne befüllte man mir sogar mit Tee für die Rückfahrt. Alles in allem eine gute Entscheidung hier zu rasten. Es wurden Kerzen von der Manufaktur aus Walsrode ausgestellt. Die konnte man auch käuflich erwerben.

Kaffee trinken mit 40 Personen. Und das ganze kurzfristig. Hat alles super funktioniert. Nochmals vielen Dank

Wir waren heute mit einer Bushgesellschaft zum Gänsebratenessen. Von der Qualität und Quantität des Essens war ich angenehm überrascht. Ich kann dieses Speiselokal anderen Personen nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ich wünsche dem Wirt und seinem Team weiterhin alles gute. LG Werner 😊

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort und sind unglaublich begeistert. Sehr schneller und freundlicher Service und beim Essen hatte ich tatsächlich Kindheitserinnerungen. Das Essen schmeckt wie bei Oma. Alles frisch und selbstgekocht. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Abgerundet wird das alles durch ein rustikales und sehr gemütliches Ambiente!

Ein ruhig gelegenes Gasthaus. Wir haben lecker Karpfen blau gegessen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch eine Location für größere Veranstaltungen.

Wir waren mit dem Bus zum Grünkohl essen. Freundliche Bedienung und ein Super Essen. Es wurde sogar reichlich „ Naschschlag „ angeboten. Zum Kaffee wurden leckere große Kuchen Stücke angeboten. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

A long-established café. The lovingly landscaped forest park with stone seating is beautiful, and next to it is a true biotope on the Fulde River. A paradise for nature lovers! The Heath Museum is just a few meters away and worth a visit. A worthwhile excursion! However, I would have liked more than just two types of cake at such a well-known restaurant!

Simply fantastic. They know how to do buses!!! The food is super delicious and the service is extremely professional. We'd be happy to go again.

We stopped by spontaneously after our visit to the bird park. Despite the tables being full, there was no problem accommodating us. Very friendly and attentive staff, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the value for money was also excellent. Highly recommended 👍👍. We'd go back anytime!!!!!

Yes. For bus groups with elderly or disabled guests sitting outside, the buffet is a bit difficult to reach, with only two steps.

A lovely inn with delicious food. Whether it's roulade, wedding soup, trout, or shrimp... Absolutely delicious and highly recommended.

Very tasty food, good service, top!

We were here for lunch and coffee and cake during a day trip. There was roast pork and beef with potatoes, vegetables, and cream sauce. The only good thing was the potatoes. The sauce tasted like it came from a can. And the roast beef was dusty, even with the sauce. It could be better... And unfortunately, the restrooms at some stations are cleaner and more modern. A shame, but the location is nice. I hope the à la carte menu is better.

I eat it with asparagus, ham, and schnitzel. It's served with asparagus soup. Perfect.

We've eaten at Eckernworth twice recently. The first time, the mood after the visit wasn't the best. The taste, selection, and service were flawless, but it's simply unbelievable that you wouldn't think the size of this vegetarian plate was a joke, and then they try to justify it! This is simply not possible. By that time, however, we had already reserved my high school graduation dinner here, and we came back for this occasion and were completely impressed. The waiter claimed to be a trained restaurateur and let his expertise run wild, so we were thoroughly entertained for hours. Many different dishes found their way to our table (the vegetarian plate was definitely not one of them!), and satisfaction was palpable everywhere. Everything was even eaten, which is surprising considering the number of people and the average age. This remains the reason for only four stars: the price-performance ratio isn't right everywhere.

Yes, I can highly recommend this place. We were there for a barbecue. Very friendly and cheerful staff. Thank you for the happy day.

Cozy atmosphere right on the edge of the forest at the end of the museum houses. Absolutely beautiful. You are always welcomed in a friendly manner, absolutely familiar and you immediately feel at home... Super delicious rustic cuisine or just an ice cream or homemade cake, the Waldgaststätte Eckernworth is simply a piece of home for us.

The food is good and the atmosphere is cozy. Great beer garden and the staff was also very friendly. You can also go for a run and there is also a great playground.

Food and service are first class

December 26, 2024, 5 people Menu 1, wedding soup, deer with chanterelles, green beans and croquettes and vanilla ice cream with hot cherries. Sounds good, but it wasn't. The roast venison was very dry, the sauce was completely tasteless, gray in color, thickened with a lot of moonshine, and the chanterelles were mushy. Soup and ice cream was good. 5 people all agree, we don't need to go here again.

The food is really great and the service is also good But we can talk again about the prices for drinks, I personally find them far too expensive, but the food is a pleasant price.

We were on the way home in Bremen and wanted to stop for dinner again. We found the place via Google. We weren't disappointed, the nice gentleman who served us was just great, friendly, courteous and professional. Our little extra requests when ordering food were immediately addressed. We liked the food very much and felt very comfortable. We will certainly come back, thank you for the nice hospitality.

Good food and nice surroundings

Service was nice, friendly and quick. If there is a restaurant where the coach tour stops, you will notice that because many guests have to be served quickly in a short space of time and they don't have a long stay. Therefore the food was a little bland. Portions are a reasonable size.

We were on a day trip with Polster and Pohl to the Lüneburg Heath and had lunch here. There was a group of over forty people... We were served an excellent lunch. There was beef roulade with red cabbage, potatoes and croquettes as well as a tasty gravy. All participants were very satisfied. The team and atmosphere are also appealing, and the supply of drinks was smooth and quick.

Leider war das Essen nicht so gut, wir hatten den Heidschnuckenbraten und der war total verknorpelt, die Portion sehr wenig und nicht lecker. Für diesen Preis nicht akzeptabel.

We ate here in the evening while traveling through. We arrived at around 7:45 p.m. The kitchen was just open and the restaurant closed at 9 p.m. The food came quickly, was good, but nothing special. We had Jägerschnitzel with fries, giant currywurst with fries, cordon bleu with fries and smoked trout (from our own pond) with scrambled eggs and fried potatoes. The location of the restaurant is sensational. We sat outside, sheltered from the wind and with a view of the surrounding trees/forest. This is how you end an evening.

We went to eat matjes with a bus company at the Waldgaststätte Eckernworth. There were also warm dishes such as cod, herring, heather lamb and potato salad, sauces and fresh salads

Very tasty German cuisine. We always enjoy going there. The restaurant is in the forest. There is a large parking lot in front of it. Behind the restaurant you can go for a wonderful walk in the forest.

Bus travelers are probably mostly catered for here. Different themes at different times of the year
