Just stopped by for coffee today. Lovely restaurant with a great view.

Location 1A, ambience good, service pragmatic, food bad. The Kässpätzle had (almost) no cheese, weren't really warm and the portion was much too small.

Went there for the first time today and certainly not the last time. Large, clear parking lot directly in front of the restaurant. Really great, cozy atmosphere. We sat outside and felt like we were on vacation. The service was very polite and accommodating. And everyone there. The food is just really good! We had to wait a maximum of 10 minutes. Price also reasonable. Can only recommend it!

The food, service and ambience are exceptionally good! Even on holidays like Easter, everything is in place. The food tastes really delicious, looks great and is adjusted seasonally. Also a nice selection for children and vegetarians. Always my pleasure!

It should be something different than just Jägerhaus and co. Mother-in-law's birthday was the reason to look outside. The Dulkhäusle is a bit hidden, but a real insider tip!! Different daily specials every day, fresh and delicious. Also a hit as a biwrgarten in summer. The menu is not oversized, but a selection to kneel down on. Everything delicious and really fresh. When the weather is nice, there is an open dining room such as on the terrace and a large outdoor area. It's worth going there and feasting. Try it out. Friendly courteous service.

Schnitzel und Pommes waren schon mal besser. Beides hatte einen komischen Fett oder Margarinegeschmack. Wir waren zu dritt hier essen und uns darüber einig.

The food itself was delicious and the service itself was good. I have celiac disease (gluten intolerance). I told the waitress this and she assured me. that the onion roast without sauce is gluten-free. After eating it turned out that the onions had wheat in them. To me that's pretty unprofessional and I don't think it should happen.

Not recommended. A cooking course that is appropriate for lentils! Spaetzle not homemade. The place is too cold and not heated. Service not attentive. Toilet doors not lockable. All windows in the men's and women's toilets open. You should have a background in gastronomy.

In the green forest, there is something so fine, the Dulkhäusle – a real sunshine! The kitchen beckons with its scent, and Tellerschnitzel is all the rage here. Crispy, tender, so delicately seasoned, every bite tempted me! Plus a salad, fresh and light, this dish is truly achieved. The atmosphere is calm and beautiful, You can go wonderfully in the Dulkhäusle. The service is friendly, always ready, a place to enjoy – at any time. That's why I prefer it, whether near or far, I always like coming to the Dulkhäusle. The plate schnitzel – a real treat, a true masterpiece, there is no end to it!

We had the perfect experience today. The service was extremely friendly, even to the children at the neighboring table, and at the same time quick and efficient. It doesn't get any better. The food (cheese spaetzle and sauerbraten) was pure, very, very tasty. This can't be done any better either. Congratulations! (I rarely give feedback, it was simply necessary here!)

Wonderfully furnished restaurant near the sports facilities. Ideal for strengthening yourself after an extensive workout or walk. The food was very tasty and the portions were good. The winter garden is very cozy with a fireplace and furs. I would be happy to come back for good home cooking.

The restaurant is actually quite ok, but not gluten-free! We had a person with celiac disease, the "gluten-free dish" was unfortunately not gluten-free, so the person was fine for the rest of the day/evening!! The “Vegan” food is served with cheese, so it is vegetarian! Then calling the whole thing vegan doesn't work at all!! Apart from that, the food tastes good and the price is absolutely right. We sat in a kind of winter garden, theoretically a nice idea... Practically extremely cold! If you have to sit at lunch with your winter jacket on, there's something wrong with the location! It was also extremely loud acoustically and conversations were only possible to a limited extent. The service was fine. Taking the orders took several attempts, but otherwise the service was sufficient and the food arrived quickly. The parking situation is underground! A crowded parking lot, you can at least stand in the mud further away. So please don't go if you have celiac disease or get cold easily!

Beautiful location in the countryside above Esslingen with a large terrace and large trees. Recently there is also the "Alm" = wooden house on the terrace for up to 12 people (see picture). The staff are attentive and very friendly, and the food is always delicious. There are parking spaces directly in front of it and another a few meters further at the glider airfield. I recommend reserving seats in good time, it is usually full, especially when the weather is nice.

We had dinner here with friends - very tasty sauerbraten with red cabbage and dumplings - highly recommended! The dessert was also to die for: baked apple fritters with ice cream and chocolate cinnamon dumplings on plum roaster with ice cream!! The only thing that "bothered" us was that we had to wait forever before we could count, so "only" 4 stars - the service staff, who were very friendly, couldn't do anything about that because the Dulkhäusle was well occupied!! We liked it, we'd love to come back!!

A great restaurant with a small but brilliant menu. Everyone will find something here and the food is even more delicious. Very nice staff, a very good price-performance ratio and the great ambience round the whole thing off. It's the second time we've been here and it won't be the last time... There are also plenty of activities around for young and old to pass the time before and after!

Very very good service 👍 Although there is a lot to do. No rush, no bad mood. The staff always has a calm word for the guests. We were a large group with wheelchairs and walking sticks. Everything went well. Thank you for that. We are always happy to come to you.

We walked here as a family of four from Fellbach on the day of German unity. It was very busy in the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and there was a nice place in the winter garden. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks came quickly. We all enjoyed the food very much. Cardboard packaging for the leftovers was included free of charge. We paid €69 including 6 drinks. I can and would like to recommend the Dulkhäusle without hesitation.

The food in the Dulkhäusle is very good and varied. The staff was attentive and friendly.

Everything was OK except for the fact that without a reservation you would be told straight away when you should leave. Reservations are also necessary during the week. Events are often closed on weekends. Not our thing for a spontaneous visit.

We sat in a drafty room. Several guests left the restaurant because a window was missing. So it was cold and uncomfortable. The food was ok. But nothing special. Dessert apple fritters with ice cream, of course, the usual Metro goods.

Rating refers to the status of the restaurant on the harbor market in Esslingen. Really cheeky and impudent, a cheese plate supposedly international and local cheese specialties for €12 and then just scamorza (which many people don't like per se), 5 cubes of Emmental cheese and a quarter of mozzarella. It really doesn't work that way

Went there again today for lunch with 12 people, as we have done very often in recent years, everyone was always very satisfied, we will be back.

The food was very tasty and arrived quickly, the service was friendly, the outdoor area is huge and comfortably decorated and it is very quiet as there are mainly meadows around it. There is also a dog filling station, definitely recommended! See you next time :-)

We had a good lunch with 4 people. Aspic with fried potatoes is highly recommended and also reasonably priced. We will come back.

We were here after the registry office because my son Chris married his Sandra (and vice versa). The ambience, the food, the service was a successful organization.

The time period is not stated in the email for the lunch menu. Called specifically and had to be there by 2:30 p.m. to get the day's meal. At 2:30 p.m. it was said no, yes after an objection, then no again and finally available on the third attempt. That wasn't the best first impression. It's a shame, otherwise nice surroundings. Unfortunately the food wasn't to our liking. Salad was too pickled for us, no spice, no dressing. Tofu, like many other restaurants, not convincing, despite being grilled. Stuffy, boring, no taste. Bread was very good. Operation does not respond confidently. Let's wait for the second chance. update 20240714: the implementation of the time information promised in the answer has not yet taken place...

The food is good and the terrace outside is beautifully done with a sun shade so you are well protected and looks very modern. There is also a small playground

Everything was consistent. The service was extremely competent, the food was plentiful and tasty. Small suggestion for improvement from the catering industry: Cross selling (offering an espresso or schnapps after the meal or "tempting you to have a dessert" fills up the tills). Great restaurant with very tasty food. I particularly liked the friendliness and humor of the staff. A great outdoor area further distinguishes the location.

Nice atmosphere, view not quite as nice as expected, you're sitting on a football field. What I found very outrageous: we ordered 2 Amalfi and a glass of tap water. At the end a glass of still water was collected: Reason: the boss forbade serving tap water. I would have thought it would have been nice if this had been pointed out to me before the water was brought. Furthermore, I find it super stingy and unsympathetic when restaurant owners are too stingy to give their customers a drink of water with alcohol or coffee. This is actually considered good form today. Thank God there are nicer and more customer-friendly restaurants in Esslingen and the surrounding area.

Die Käsespätzle waren lecker und der Salat hat gut geschmeckt. Der Service war schnell und unkompliziert. Die Einrichtung ist modern aber ein wenig durchgewürfelt ohne klare Linie.

The cheese spaetzle was delicious and the salad tasted good. The service was quick and uncomplicated. The furnishings are modern but a bit jumbled without a clear line.

Instead of the cheese spaetzle ordered, spaetzle dipped in cream sauce was served (it's not on the menu - but the cheese was somehow missing...)
