We were at a Christmas market and had a hot meal at the inn. I have to say I was surprised by the generous portion size and the value for money. It was excellent and very, very tasty. It's also nice to just go there for some good, traditional German food.

We ate there today because we received a gift voucher. Our first impression was that it was very well-kept and in a beautiful location. We were greeted by a very nice lady, and our dog was very welcome. By the way, dogs are only allowed in the large dining room and not in the other smaller rooms out of consideration for other guests. I think that's great! We sat outside with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields. The lady served us very friendly and was very accommodating! The food was fantastic! You can tell there's a real chef there who knows his craft. Everything is homemade and fresh! The dog kennel in Heusweiler is a must for anyone who appreciates good food! We will be back.
