Waffel Dream in Hannover

Unfortunately, a huge disappointment... The portions on the platters weren't worth the price/were very small. The chocolate sauces were heavily diluted with water and tasted very poor. Furthermore, the fruit wasn't washed – some of it still had visible dirt on it. Definitely not recommended!!!

When we arrived, it was very busy, so we expected a long wait. But when we still hadn't received a menu after 30 minutes, even though people walked past us several times, we asked for it, and the employee seemed a bit annoyed. We finally got up; we didn't feel like waiting that long again. We also saw a few annoyed faces around us. The cheekiest part was that customers who came after us (and were sitting right next to us) were given menus straight away, and their orders were taken. It just seemed like the store was completely overwhelmed. What a shame :/

After 30 minutes, we still hadn't received a card, so we got up and left. What a shame. It felt like the employees were extremely overwhelmed.

Absolutely unacceptable. Very long wait times. Staff reacted irritably when asked. The waffle was cold. The coffee came after the waffle 😁 after over 30 minutes (!)... and after repeated requests. We were just about to get up and leave... We definitely won't be coming back. It's a shame. But apparently this isn't an isolated incident... See other Google reviews. They'll probably be deleted...👋

Even though it was full, we managed to get a table. The service was great and the food was truly delicious. We'd love to come back.

We had a delicious breakfast and then had Japanese pancakes. Everything was delicious, the service was really friendly, and we even got some fresh strawberries on top because we thought they were so delicious. There's a bit of a shortage of seating inside, but once you're settled into the comfortable armchairs, it's not a problem.

Simply disappointing. Waited half an hour for the food and then got burnt pancakes. Not recommended.

Today we went to Waffel Dream on the occasion of Mother's Day. We became aware of it via an Instagram story and had corresponding expectations that were actually fulfilled. The selection of plates is really great and everything is fresh and high quality. The employees were nice and accommodating. We will definitely come back and are happy to recommend Wafel Dream.

A wonderful experience. We had breakfast with the kids. I wish they had put an outside fence around the outside seats because it is kind of dangerous with kids around. I recommend it.

Very tasty food, you get something different for breakfast We love the sesame ring with scrambled eggs, cheese and sucuk. But the pancakes are also delicious. The only disadvantage is no card payment and you totally smell like food.

Highly recommended. Very friendly service and incredibly delicious food. The Japanese fluffy soufflé pancakes with vanilla were incredibly fluffy. We also had the Special Dream breakfast (but without olives) and scrambled eggs with tomatoes (menemen). Highly recommended. If we're ever in Hanover again, we'll be happy to come back.

Very unfriendly staff. Impatient during the customer decision-making process of choosing food. Only waffles, but no pancakes of your own creation available. When protein waffles were asked, they were no longer available and a very annoyed "no, we don't have them" was simply uttered without any option being offered. All in all a very cold, messy and stressed environment. Too bad. The food was ok, but too expensive for the service received. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

The food was okay, but the service was incredibly unfriendly and lackluster. You're not greeted, you feel pressured to make a decision, and you're annoyed that they're out of certain products. The sauces taste artificial, but the fruit is fresh. It's a shame that you can only customize your waffles, not the pancakes. I also don't think the price-performance ratio is appropriate. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We were very happy because the insta pictures looked very promising. There is only one nice wall, everything else was really not nice, careless and you don't even know who is serving there because they are walking around in sweatpants. Don't come back. Unfortunately, Insta can be deceiving ;(

We were visiting with our daughter and granddaughter and got what was probably the last free table in this small restaurant (without a reservation). The service was excellent and our food was delicious. I decided on a pancake version and a coffee. A very clever gimmick is to place a bowl of dry ice on the table and then add a sip of water to cover the entire table surface with a mist, giving young people a great opportunity for social media content. The prices were absolutely fine. What I have to complain about is that the whole restaurant was very crowded due to the lack of space. Unfortunately, there is no privacy or feeling of well-being. Another point of criticism is that you can only pay in cash. Unfortunately, this is no longer up to date at all!

I went to the Waffle Dream for the second time today and it was really tasty again! I love the breakfast there, the spreads are great and the few fruits and vegetables that are served on the platter are fresh and tasty. The bread that they bake themselves is the highlight of the breakfast, I would come back again and again just for the bread. A clear recommendation! I have enjoyed being a customer for over 5 years. I used to come here very often. Now I was back here after some time and I am extremely disappointed. A waffle that cost 4.50 euros back then now costs almost 8 euros. The fact that prices have risen in recent years is justifiable, but then I expect at least consistent or better quality. But that is not the case here at all. The waffles really weren't as tasty as they once were. First of all, the dough wasn't cooked through and the toppings were extremely stingy. I only find two Raffaellos really cheeky. At least the service was nice and the furnishings have been updated and look great. Nevertheless, I definitely won't be coming back.

We've been to this cafe twice. The first time was for breakfast, it was ok, but the portions were a bit small. We had to additionally ask the waitress to bring smoke and write our names on the plate, as we initially counted on this. The second time we came in the evening. It was about an hour before closing. The service was unfriendly, the cocktails and waffles were made sloppily for us. Doesn't look at all like the photo on the internet. It felt like we were annoying the employees and that they were in a hurry to finish their work day.

We ate there at the weekend. The pictures on insta are very different from reality - dirty floor, no decorations on the tables, dirty cutlery and the waffles - well, you can eat, but nothing that would make me say 'wow', and not even served particularly nicely . People smoke at tables outside. Tried it once, I won't go there again. The waffle irons that were right behind the counter were incredibly black from being dirty and I immediately lost my appetite. And the store itself makes an unclean impression.

Had a waffle with various fruits and pancake bueno. The waffle itself was good but the fruit was still too hard and sour. The pancake was probably a bit burnt and had some pieces in its mouth. And the sauce was almost non-existent, just a thin layer... A pity

Hey everyone I was here with my husband and saw this (cafe) on tik tok and really wanted to try it out and it was worth it We took the big Pascha breakfast for 2 for just under 40 euros and it was worth it. We were full, even if it didn't look like much at first glance!!!! The staff was very, very nice and friendly We'll be back soon to try the Japanese pancake ❤️

Went there in the morning without a reservation, but still got a table, the atmosphere is really nice. The service was very friendly and very helpful with the selection. The Japanese pancakes are absolutely amazing. Super tasty, so you're happy to accept that (because it's freshly made) you'll have to wait a good 20 minutes (it's also extra on the menu). And if you like smoothies... absolutely recommended, they are also made fresh from the fruit. And they're really good. Absolutely recommended, I will look there again.

Unfortunately, Japanese pancakes were no longer available on the day of our visit. We drove here especially for this one. Then we had American pancakes, which were very tasty. Drinks were also very good but a bit overpriced for the small quantity. We'll come back again to try the Japanese pancakes

The dark-skinned gentleman was very kind and attentive, which unfortunately I can't say about his team. The woman behind the counter (southern a little older) was very unfriendly and unprofessional and exposed the dark-skinned employee in the middle of the shop, that's not possible, I hope the dark-skinned one young man finds a better place for himself without being bullied. The food was ok but very steep for the price.

The desserts were delicious, the service and staff were attentive. However, I suggest that they pay a little more attention to the cleanliness of the place.

Waffle Dream has a pretty nice ambience, but that's about it. The pancakes are nicely decorated, but for 3 pancakes, some Nutella, a few strawberries and a banana, you pay 10 euros, well. Going there to be seen, okay. But not more.

Me and a friend found out about the place through Instagram. Unfortunately, it wasn't at all what it looked like on Instagram. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but the furniture outside leaves something to be desired in one place or another. Unfortunately it was a bit dirty, all the tables where there were no guests were full of dishes. Our table was only cleaned when we had already been sitting there for 20 minutes. Some of the people around us commented on the long waiting times and errors in the orders. My girlfriend actually wanted to order the famous Japanese pancakes, but they weren't available because the machine was broken. We weren't told anything about this in advance or when we asked whether we would get a card. We then had normal pancakes and tacos. The pancakes were okay, but the tacos were not. Very dry, hardly any sauce and hardly any content. Unfortunately, our visit was not as we imagined or as it appears on the internet. No one can be responsible for a lot of activity and high occupancy, but a certain level of cleanliness should be ensured.

I go to Waffle Dream regularly especially for the Turkish breakfast and the pancakes/Japanese pancakes. The breakfast is super tasty, with a good selection of different breakfast platters/sandwiches. Everything tastes really good! Service is nice, courteous and polite. The price-performance ratio is fair. My favorite breakfast and dessert shop! .

Waffle Dream in Hanover offers a wonderful, family atmosphere that invites you to linger. The small café impresses with friendly staff who always try to respond to individual requests. There will be a little show for cool photos and videos. Particularly noteworthy is the unlimited serving of tea and bread, which makes the stay particularly pleasant. Despite the central location, there are plenty of parking spaces in the area. The value for money is excellent and the food is very tasty. Recommended!

The food was okay but there is nothing on the menu saying that payment with EC card is not possible. Only cash payment but you will find out about that at the checkout. It's nice to stroll to the bank so you can pay for your meal. Super annoying...

I had the most dubious experience here. I have never experienced anything like this before. We ordered waffles at 6:40 p.m. and received the order confirmation. 45 minutes later we receive a notification that the order has been canceled. It is 7:30 p.m. and when I called I was not shown any understanding. There is no driver available. I offered to pick up the food myself and according to the employee that wasn't a problem. I was in the store at 7:40 p.m. and wasn't greeted. I received an annoyed response from my work colleague and told me that I had to wait another 5 minutes. Since we placed our order at 6:40 p.m., our colleagues have known that the order could not be delivered. So they only started preparing the food shortly before I got there. So almost an hour later... As I was waiting for my food, some comments were made about me in a foreign language. However, my colleagues didn't know that I spoke the same language. I cannot recommend anyone to place an order here. With all my love, you don't have to accept that as a customer. A simple call that the order cannot be delivered would have been sufficient.
