W The Imbiss in Berlin

The thali here is incredibly delicious. The naan pizzas and burritos look promising and I'll try them soon. The service and ambiance aren't that great, but for a snack bar, I think that's perfectly acceptable :)

It's so filling and hearty. I can eat it with a variety of dishes, including rice and eggs, so it's always delicious.

I remember going here multiple times when I was studying in Berlin. One of my favorites, the food and drinks are amazing!

Respect to these guys. Been coming here for over a decade I think for their delicious naan and soup. Some of the tastiest naan you will get in Berlin. Despite being on one of Berlin's most touristy streets, it's still 6€. Good stuff.

Super delicious vegetarian Indian food at a reasonable price.

Hostile and dirty service, the waiter that took our order made snarky comments about us and after handling our cash he touched food without gloves or anything. At the end of my meal I asked them if they could pack up leftovers, he looked at me, threw at me a bowl and told me to do it myself. You can pay only cash, and they don’t make receipts

The Thali is always worth the money. I go there every year, and it's always just as delicious! It's incredible to get such delicious, healthy food for such a low price.

It was a meal we enjoyed, I definitely recommend this plate. They have tables outside, but they are usually dirty, and the service is a bit poor.

Very good food, plentiful. Delicious. Vegan. Incredible. The owners are spot on, no fuss. The place is friendly. There's plenty of space inside and out. They don't have a bathroom, but they offer tokens to use the restroom next door.

The vibe is off. The Jewish naan comes without caviar, even though it's listed on the menu. When asked after the food was delivered, the unfriendly response was, "We don't do that anymore, the menu is outdated." Well, then just print new menus. If you don't accept card payments, there'll be enough cash left over.

We were there for lunch and were really pleased. The food was simple but delicious, and the value for money was definitely good.

Relatively cheap for this area and plentiful... however, I couldn't find any other spices/masalas besides medium spiciness...

Once a very good snack bar, but now the prices are no longer snack bar prices, and the food is mediocre. The salmon and naan pizza were unfortunately very dry. It's also extremely noisy due to the tram traffic.

Really liked this place (that’s why I give 2 instead of 1 star), but just today we had a bug (animal!) inside the olive tapenade of our naan pizza. This is disgusting and their hygiene really concerning.

Affordable, good portion and lots to taste!

It was really delicious and the value for money was excellent. The staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, you can only pay in cash, but there's an ATM right across the street from the restaurant. I highly recommend it!

Vegan dishes, vracha with avocado and herbs 9 euros. Delicious sauce inside. Curry in a hari is spicy, but delicious. Very tasty lentil soup for 6 euros.

I'm always impressed by the daal and fish tacos. The burrito is also delicious! No one should miss out on tandoori naan, no matter which version. Simply fantastic!

Amazing find! Food was affordable and absolutely delicious. Such great variety in a vegetarian menu which is great to see, would love to come back! We got two Thalis, the regular size is a very generous portion and delicious. Also, cheap and good tasting beer, beautiful interiors, friendly staff and quick service. Couldn’t ask for more!

Absolutely love this place, unlike other "hipster places" in this area, the service is super friendly and the food comes fast. We really enjoyed the environment and the lunch. Also sadly, Berlin becomes the capital of people aggressively pushing you for good reviews, AND THIS PLACE DOESNT do that, the staff is always doing a good job and delivering nice experience. Best burrito in town and a range of selection of great unique specialities never seen anywhere else. This is exactly what you expect from the Berlin food culture experience. It’s an instance, as it’s been there since years now.

Nice, little restaurant. Not a lot of service, but that's not necessary here, the people are friendly! The food is very tasty and it looks great, the shop is a bit small but they have expanded a bit now.

If you’re searching for an imbiss with delicious food and quick service, this is the place to go. Love coming here both during summer (nice to sit outside!) and during winter for a cozy meal. The thali portions are very generous. Fully recommend the cheese stuffed naan!! Note: they only take cash.

Unfortunately they extended the space but the second room is not nice at all. The room is loud, smelly, tables and seats are uncomfortable. No music. I hope this gets changed quickly. Food is still good. But atmosphere and ambient from the second place is disgusting.

This corner restaurant has been consistently delivering fantastic meals for hungry nine-to-fivers on their lunch breaks, couples on dates, and book readers for years.The staff is very stoic, which beautifully contrasts the quirky and delicious food, obviously made with so much care.

Super nice team, I've been coming here regularly for three years and the quality has definitely held up. I'm an absolute fan of Cheesestuffed-Nan and I like to go there when I want to eat something quick and delicious for lunch, but I also like to go there for dinner with friends, as you can easily order several dishes and then share them: )

We ordered the maharaja thali and two separate stuffed nans. The food was delicious and flavourful. It gave a good combination of Indian food with a twist. The quantity is sufficient for 2 people to share. Would recommend trying their flatbreads!!

Delicious food! Large portions, very friendly service and very reasonable prices. Lots of vegan options, even vegan crème brulée.

Decent food, many sweets options. The chicken shawarma meat was too salty and very very smqll cutit so there was nontexture of it. Good falafel, unfortunately i forgot to underline that i do not wantit spicy. Clean and spacious toilet.

Fusion is a joke here. They have the same bases for all their dishes and use the same things without any thought about taste and flavour. Service was not great. You can only pay with cash. Even though the order was more than 20 euros. That's quite unusual for Berlin. Something fishy? Speaking about fish, the salmon has no salt. Overall, very poor on creativity, on taste and on price.

Horrible food. Bland and flavourless. The naan is the only saving grace. We ordered a thali and fish taco, the fish in the taco was bitter and the taco lacked any other flavour apart from the naan which was decent the rest was rather inedible

Amazing fusion food, will come again

We tried this branch because we earlier tried the Schöneberg branch which was quite good and we wanted to try this branch because this very near to our place. There are multiple things which were wrong with our experience. Firstly the service was really bad. They forgot to prepare our order which is quite surprising because everything that they are doing is on the computer. Secondly, me and my partner ordered different dishes. I ordered a Thaali and my partner order a Quesadilla. In Quesadilla, there was a housefly inside the salad. My food's taste was false. We left the place after sometime and within 10 mins both of out stomachs were completely spoiled. It's a pure case of Food poisoning. Horrible! I would not recommend this place.

Great restaurant with extremely friendly service. The prices are absolutely reasonable, the food is delicious and the menu is nicely designed. A great ambience rounds off the result.

We had the burrito and the W-egan tacos. The service was courteous. The food was very tasty and filling. Personally, I don't like the taste of cilantro and found it rather annoying in my tacos. Next time I would ask to leave it out. Another point of criticism is that my tacos were unfortunately a bit softer and kept tearing due to the liquid and I couldn't eat them in peace because everything fell apart. But that didn't affect the taste. If you fancy a lunch with Indian-Mexican fusion, you can definitely stop by here. Contrary to some reviews, I can say that I was able to pay by card here.

Small location, simple atmosphere and the staff is friendly! Ideal for young people on a budget! On the Sunday evening when we were there for the second time, it was very full, we made room for the next guests straight after the meal 😊👍which suggests that the food was delicious there!

I've been there twice now in 6 months. The food is definitely quite good, but both times the bill was higher than what was on the menu (last time for the salmon naan, this time for the spritzers). Something like that shouldn't happen! Overall, as I said, it was pretty good, but I was annoyed!

OK. The service was a little lacking - we waited a while for a clear table, but think we came after a rush - and food was okay. We had the curry selection and green goddess naan, both were tasty but not warm. Inside was small and the door was kept open, so chilly! Maybe better to have as takeaway?

Cash only, no card or Paypal. There are some vegan dishes on the menu, the selection is good. The pizzas are vegan possible. I had the Green Goddess. This was abundantly documented. The naan base is crispy and fluffy at the same time. I thought the apple juice with freshly pressed barley grass was great. Delicious. Tasty food for a lunch stop.

On the recommendation of Maxim Biller, a well-known author, we decided on "W - Der Imbiss" and were not disappointed. This joint offers a unique blend of Indian-Mexican-Italian fusion cuisine with Israeli twists. **Eat:** The vegetarian and vegan menu also surprises with fish dishes. We tried the soup of the day, quesadillas with naan bread (Maxim Biller's favorite), a thali (with two curries, yogurt, rice, chutney, bread, dal), "Curry in a hurry" and a cheese stuffed naan. Everything was excellently prepared and very tasty. Particularly noteworthy are the quesadillas, full of red onions, bean paste, coriander and cheese, as well as the three curries, which were very spicy and sometimes spicy, but incredibly tasty. **Beverages:** The mango lassi for three euros was another highlight, perfect as a complement to the spicy dishes. **Conclusion:** "W - Der Imbiss" is a clear recommendation for anyone who is looking for exceptional and delicious fusion cuisine. The combination of different culinary influences makes every visit a unique experience. The snack bar is also very attractively priced. A must for every Berlin visitor or local who wants to indulge in culinary delights.

A very small place, great for Berlin enthusiasts, the dining area is relatively small, and it gets really loud when the place is full, but it's part of the experience I guess. The prices are quite cheap considering the location (Bezirk Mitte). The soup was perfect (a bit spicy as I like it), and the naan bread is freshly baked. It gets a bit warm inside after a while though and the seats are not quite comfortable.

Ein paar sehr leckere indische Gerichte von Dalsuppe bis Thali immer mit leckeren Naans serviert. Ein kleiner, sehr beliebter Imbiss mit nur wenigen Sitzplätzen. Im Sommer geht es auch draußen.

Keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Selbstbedienung. Recht klein, aber gemütlich. Der Burrito war trocken, zu viel Reis.

Richtig gute Küche, drinnen nix für Klaustrophobiker!
