W The Imbiss in Berlin

Großartiges Dahl! Jedes Mal, wenn ich in Berlin bin, esse ich hier!

Da es sich um ein Schnellrestaurant mit Selbstbedienung handelt, ist es überhaupt kein Problem, das Essen direkt nach der Bestellung durch eine freundliche Bedienung zu erhalten. Das Essen ist sehr gut und schmeckt frisch. Es gibt einen ausreichend großen Außenbereich, sodass man nicht im überfüllten Innenbereich sitzen muss. Mir hat die lockere Atmosphäre gefallen, aber nicht jeder mag es, auf etwas wackeligen Stühlen fast Schulter an Schulter oder Rücken an Rücken zu sitzen. Meine Buddha Bowl hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt und ich komme gerne wieder.

Ich war schon ungefähr zehnmal dort essen, nichts Außergewöhnliches, aber ich finde, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut. Ihr Käse-Naan ist fantastisch und es ist so schön, draußen zu essen.

Nur Barzahlung, aber es lohnt sich absolut.

W der Imbiss ist eine Institution in der Kastanienallee. Seid Jahrzehnten kontinuierlich mit der gleichen Qualität und Fürsorge für gutes Essen, dazu Gerichte die es nicht überall gibt.

Ein wirklich schönes Lokal für vegetarisches Essen an der Kastanienalleè. Es ist eines der wenigen noch existierenden Originallokale. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, die Portionen sind riesig und die Preise absolut fair. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und es ist schön, an einem Sommerabend draußen zu sitzen.

Sehr gemütliches Lokal, super Service und köstliches Essen. Das Mango-Chutney war fantastisch und die Thali-Portion sehr großzügig. Unbedingt hingehen, wenn ihr in Berlin seid!

Das Suppen- und Naan-Menü ist das beste.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen waren großzügig und der Preis unschlagbar. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen. Wir hatten einen Burrito, eine Quesadilla und Käse-Naan, die ich ebenfalls wärmstens empfehlen kann.

Ich habe Delachs bestellt, genau das Richtige bei großem Hunger. Die Bedienung war schnell und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war frisch, gut zubereitet und voller Aromen, Farben und Texturen. Köstlich!

Fantastisch! Schneller Service, tolles Essen und günstige Preise.

Das Bistro ist sweet -klein u.hübsch vom dekor mit dem Bambus & Ethnolook. Hier gibt es frisch aus den Ofen Naan Megaaaa. Suppenangebote & Lehmofen Pizzen. Alles sieht gut aus. Ich hatte einen Dal Naan Combo. Der Currytaste mundete noch sooo schön noch nach einer kleinen Weile.

Die Portionen scheinen hier alle sehr üppig zu sein, das sollte man bei der Bestellung wissen! Die meisten anderen Leute aßen hier die Suppen (mit Brot) oder eine Naan-Pizza, beides nicht ganz so groß. Ich hatte den Burger (der eher ein Burrito 🌯 ist, siehe Foto) - wie gesagt, sehr reichlich.

Das ist einer meiner Lieblingsorte in Berlin. Das Essen ist köstlich, die Preise sind sehr günstig und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich.

Einfach und lecker. Kann die Linsensuppe mit Naan ( zusammen für 6 Euro und man ist satt und zufrieden) und das Tali sehr empfehlen dazu leckerer Chai und ein leicht südamerikanisches Ambiente- wir fühlen uns dort immer wieder wohl !!!

Super Preis - Leistungsverhältnis (kleiner Salat+Suppe und Naanbrot 11 €) und ein gemütlicher kleiner Laden. Das Essen war, wie auch die letzten Male, sehr lecker..😊👌🏾

War sehr lecker. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Es gibt nur wenige Tische und man kann nur Bar bezahlen.

Als erstes ist es eines dieser "Cash Only" Läden, an denen man nicht mal einen Beleg bekommt . Zweitens schmeckt das Essen nicht und uns geht es jetzt auch nicht so super. Die Verarbeitenden Produkte sind anscheinend nicht so toll. Schade. Wir hatten mit den guten Rezensionen viel mehr erwartet aber eine Mischung aus Mexikanisch und Indisch, naja..funktioniert nur bedingt.

Scheint sehr angesagt zu sein, da immer sehr voll. WC wäre schon schön.

Indisches fast Food Lokal ganz anders betrachtet. Kurze Wartezeit, alles wird frisch zubereitet. Kleiner Nachteil sind begrenzte Sitzmöglichkeiten innen. Bis zu zwei Personen sollte es klappen, Jedes Mal ein Fixpunkt bei einem Berlin Besuch.

Für mich das beste Essen in Berlin. Der Thali ist unschlagbar. Ich bin seit Jahren regelmäßig hier. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Dal-Suppe mit Naan und Chai-Tee war einfach köstlich! Ehrlich gesagt das beste indische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. :)

Teriyaki salmon, avocado wrap, and much more are very tasty =). The staff are sometimes a bit distracted due to the language barrier, but they're always friendly, quick, and service-oriented. Unfortunately, it's often so full that you have to wait for a seat.

The thali here is incredibly delicious. The naan pizzas and burritos look promising, and I'll try them soon. The service and ambiance aren't that great, but for a snack bar, I think that's perfectly acceptable :)

It's so filling and hearty. I can eat it with a variety of dishes, including rice and eggs, so it's always delicious.

Respect to these guys. Been coming here for over a decade I think for their delicious naan and soup. Some of the tastiest naan you will get in Berlin. Despite being on one of Berlin's most touristy streets, it's still 6€. Good stuff.

Super delicious vegetarian Indian food at a reasonable price.

Hostile and dirty service, the waiter that took our order made snarky comments about us and after handling our cash he touched food without gloves or anything. At the end of my meal I asked them if they could pack up leftovers, he looked at me, threw at me a bowl and told me to do it myself. You can pay only cash, and they don’t make receipts

The Thali is always worth the money. I go there every year, and it's always just as delicious! It's incredible to get such delicious, healthy food for such a low price.

It was a meal we enjoyed, I definitely recommend this plate. They have tables outside, but they are usually dirty, and the service is a bit poor.

Very good food, plentiful. Delicious. Vegan. Incredible. The owners are spot on, no fuss. The place is friendly. There's plenty of space inside and out. They don't have a bathroom, but they offer tokens to use the restroom next door.

The vibe is off. The Jewish naan comes without caviar, even though it's listed on the menu. When asked after the food was delivered, the unfriendly response was, "We don't do that anymore, the menu is outdated." Well, then just print new menus. If you don't accept card payments, there'll be enough cash left over.

We were there for lunch and were really pleased. The food was simple but delicious, and the value for money was definitely good.

Relatively cheap for this area and plentiful... however, I couldn't find any other spices/masalas besides medium spiciness...

Once a very good snack bar, but now the prices are no longer snack bar prices, and the food is mediocre. The salmon and naan pizza were unfortunately very dry. It's also extremely noisy due to the tram traffic.

Really liked this place (that’s why I give 2 instead of 1 star), but just today we had a bug (animal!) inside the olive tapenade of our naan pizza. This is disgusting and their hygiene really concerning.

Affordable, good portion and lots to taste!

It was really delicious and the value for money was excellent. The staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, you can only pay in cash, but there's an ATM right across the street from the restaurant. I highly recommend it!

Vegan dishes, vracha with avocado and herbs 9 euros. Delicious sauce inside. Curry in a hari is spicy, but delicious. Very tasty lentil soup for 6 euros.

I'm always impressed by the daal and fish tacos. The burrito is also delicious! No one should miss out on tandoori naan, no matter which version. Simply fantastic!

Amazing find! Food was affordable and absolutely delicious. Such great variety in a vegetarian menu which is great to see, would love to come back! We got two Thalis, the regular size is a very generous portion and delicious. Also, cheap and good tasting beer, beautiful interiors, friendly staff and quick service. Couldn’t ask for more!

Absolutely love this place, unlike other "hipster places" in this area, the service is super friendly and the food comes fast. We really enjoyed the environment and the lunch. Also sadly, Berlin becomes the capital of people aggressively pushing you for good reviews, AND THIS PLACE DOESNT do that, the staff is always doing a good job and delivering nice experience. You should visit w imbiss if you are in Berlin!! Check the soups and the garlic naan, omg.

Best burrito in town and a range of selection of great unique specialities never seen anywhere else. This is exactly what you expect from the Berlin food culture experience. It’s an instance, as it’s been there since years now.

Nice, little restaurant. Not a lot of service, but that's not necessary here, the people are friendly! The food is very tasty and it looks great, the shop is a bit small but they have expanded a bit now.

Unfortunately they extended the space but the second room is not nice at all. The room is loud, smelly, tables and seats are uncomfortable. No music. I hope this gets changed quickly. Food is still good. But atmosphere and ambient from the second place is disgusting.

This corner restaurant has been consistently delivering fantastic meals for hungry nine-to-fivers on their lunch breaks, couples on dates, and book readers for years.The staff is very stoic, which beautifully contrasts the quirky and delicious food, obviously made with so much care.

I always enjoy going to W-Imbiss, the quesadillas are so good and the naan with avocado and rocket is my favorite!

Food is always fresh. The same home flavour since years. Nice and hard working international team. Plus they they prices stayed affordable after clownvid (as opposed to the most of another eateries in Berlin). If you are looking for a tasty Indian/mexican blend you have to go to W! 🙏🏻

Super nice team, I've been coming here regularly for three years and the quality has definitely held up. I'm an absolute fan of Cheesestuffed-Nan and I like to go there when I want to eat something quick and delicious for lunch, but I also like to go there for dinner with friends, as you can easily order several dishes and then share them: )

We ordered the maharaja thali and two separate stuffed nans. The food was delicious and flavourful. It gave a good combination of Indian food with a twist. The quantity is sufficient for 2 people to share. Would recommend trying their flatbreads!!
