The food is extremely tasty, as is the beer. The ambience is okay, although not great. The waitresses are friendly, but not the fastest. All in all recommended.

Pork knuckle does not meet expectations, I hope the quality will be higher in the future. The beer is good, I recommend it.

I also loved Vogelbräu. But then something incredible happened. A tapper did something that was tantamount to being thrown out, and unfortunately the senior manager did not clarify the situation, on the contrary. That's why I'll avoid visiting there in the future.

One of my favorite breweries! If you go in winter try the Kupfer bier, if you go in summer the Sommer bier, but they are all delicious! Knuckle, chicken or Schnitzel...YUMMY 🤤🤤🤤

The food tastes great, everything is great! I like to have a drink here! Simone brings new brown glass rockets like they are on an assembly line. I have rarely felt as well served as I did with Simone. Anytime again, it's like drinking in heaven here!

Delicious beer, suitable food selection that also tastes good. Very crowded (on Fridays during football broadcasts) and therefore very loud. The waitresses were very busy.

The drinks and food were very good and inexpensive, the service was slightly overwhelmed but nice. Regarding the ambience, we sat outside in the heated beer garden, it was just cold.

The number 2 in Karlsruhe! - my favorite (No. 1) is Vogelbräu in Durlach…. Although Vogelbräu in Ettlingen is not bad either :-)

Very good brewery, good cutlets, nice place with nice and efficient service, interesting menu. They only made pulp from Camembert, but apparently it's a typical German idea. Apart from that, it's nice and familiar, friendly prices and creative decor.

My schnitzel was underground. Cheapest pressed meat. The potato salad without taste. The thing continued to talk to me for hours afterward. What about the IPA was an IPA is completely beyond me. No aromatics. No hop enjoyment. Too bad. The copper was ok. It's unbelievable that the staff gossip among themselves about guests and you notice it. Overall, a lot of unused potential or just fed up.

Better to go there just for drinks. The food was very bland, but the waiter was super nice.

Good beer. Service mediocre. The cuisine is better than in the other Vogelbräu restaurants. Hard to get a parking space. I've been coming to the Vogelbräu restaurants for years, but today the service has taken a hit. I was with a companion at a table of 5 when the waitress simply seated two new guests at the table. Since we weren't asked if it was ok, I looked astonished. Only then did the waitress ask if it was ok. What else can you say when the new guests are already seated? I told the waitress that you can ask beforehand. Do the conditions there have clairvoyant abilities? We could have expected someone else. I'm speechless. We then left. I don't have to have it. I'd rather go somewhere where guests are welcome. And also treated normally. Then we went to another brewery in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen.

I come from Saarland and was on a training course there and was in the restaurant for the first time. A very nice restaurant, nice and friendly staff. What I liked best was the ambience and the food was also very tasty! I can recommend anyone who is ever in Karlsruhe to go there. Will definitely come again

Super friendly staff, really nice and attentive. However, the atmosphere is anything but nice for a beer evening among colleagues. The food is OK.

Steak for €25 was simply thrown into the sauce disrespectfully. The most expensive dish on the menu was of course the one with the smallest portion. I had to order more food to fill myself up. Taste ok but service poor otherwise ok.

We've been there for the third time, as always, everything was perfect. Would be happy again. Highly recommended 😉

Vogel Karlsruhe is nice, but not as great as Ettlingen.

Not gourmet food but that's not what we're looking for here... Normal prices and the little blond guy serving is very friendly! Screen to follow football matches! Looking forward to coming back to Karlsruhe!

Full, narrow and stuffy. Nothing to relax in the evening.

We went there for dinner and a drink after the KSC game. The service was very friendly and showed us to our desired table. The food was delicious and prepared relatively quickly. The only criticism is that the table wasn't 100% clean, but that wasn't a big deal for us.

So I've known Vogelbraeu as an ex-Karlsruher since it opened...beer is great!! But the food...sorry is no longer what you expect as tasty Baden cuisine...of course everyone has to/want to save money but please not on the food that was simply better 20 years ago...

They have a lot of Options of Faßbier The vegan Burger was good. The ambient is very nice.

Anyone who has ever noticed health changes in which beer has visibly worsened the condition knows that beer is not a “holy drink without side effects. “Beer increases the risk of gout disease more than spirits. Wine does not appear to have any effect on the risk of gout. It is believed that beer's poor performance is due to its high purine content. Unfortunately, switching to non-alcoholic beer is not a solution either. Some non-alcoholic beers contain 2.5 times as much purine as regular beer!”

Some things never change and in this case that's good! Food still excellent, at sensible prices. The beer doesn't even have to be mentioned, as it is consistently of outstanding quality. Plenty of space, even when it's busy you usually manage to find a spot. Service is super quick and friendly. The Schnitzel and the Gulaschsuppe remain at the same level as it has always been. The other food is of similar quality. I had the Wildbolognese for lunch on a separate day and it was super tasty!

An excellent place to be, with fantastic home made beer but very unprofessional service. Ordered a famous "haxen" and after waiting for 80 minutes, I was told that they ran out of it. No apologies, no sorry, only just a question if I needed to order something else. Awful. And while visiting the loo, another customer was served that plate.

The Vogelbräu is simply always good

Vogelbräu in Karlsruhe is a cozy brewery with a great selection of home-brewed beer. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for an evening with friends. The food is delicious, from traditional German dishes to creative snacks. Prices are reasonable and the staff is generally friendly. Especially in summer you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. A nice place to enjoy good beers and good food!

Käsespätzle were inedible and carelessly prepared. The service wasn't particularly friendly either.

We were a group of 50 people and were looking forward to a lovely evening in this restaurant. Unfortunately, our joy was dampened when we found out that we could only pay everything together. With such a large group it is extremely impractical to have a total bill. It would be much more customer-friendly if individual payments were possible. This made our evening unnecessarily complicated. In addition, some of the food came wrong and way too late. Some of us had to wait for a very long time while others were already finished. This made the whole experience even worse. To make matters worse, the waitress seemed very unprofessional and did nothing to improve the situation. We will look at other options in the future.

Typical beer garden with a good selection of beers. Food quite simple, but so far quite good. You shouldn't expect 3-star cuisine in the beer garden. Price is reasonable. There is a daily and weekly menu in addition to the usual selection.

Nice internal terrace(from outside it’s not very inviting, don’t let yourself be deceived). The beers ordered at the table (7!) arrived in less than 1 minute - the fastest service i’ve come across! The food was good (tipically brewery - meat/schnitzel/schweinehaxe)

I actually love the Vogelbräu - both in Karlsruhe and in Durlach. Good beer, comfortable seating, nice central location. However, one has to say very clearly that the food has become an absolute disaster (everything applies to KA and Durlach 1:1): - Under no circumstances should you think of eating a bratwurst. It doesn't matter which one, whether it's on offer or a stadium sausage. Something so disgusting. Dripping with fat, not really hot and looking more cooked than grilled, so completely limp with no roasted aromas. - Schnitzels are dust dry and probably come from the fryer. - There is a strong focus on ready-made mixtures. I haven't tried a sauce that didn't have Maggi or Knorr or something similar as a base. The same applies to the dumplings, which are also available online. - All other dishes including those from the weekly menu are, well, mixed. It may taste quite good, but it may also be that you get something warmed up from the microwave. Super hot in some places and still cold in others. I am aware that you are not visiting a gourmet restaurant here, but rather a fairly busy brewery. But at least the topic of sausage and schnitzel just doesn't work at all. Sometimes something comes up for a moment while you're eating, it's that disgusting.

It's always great, even if you only come back to your old homeland every now and then 😃
