The Parisian breakfast is to die for

Very unassuming from the outside, but the service and food is fantastic. We were very positively surprised. The price-performance ratio is optimal. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.

The location in the city center is great and the prices are also acceptable for this location. What is subpar, however, is the service and the arrogance of some waiters. You have to pay for the toilets even though you have eaten something on site. Of course you can walk past the woman sitting in front of you, but she will ask you about it and pressure will be exerted. I have never experienced a restaurant where I had to pay €1 for a toilet that was completely outdated and could also be improved in terms of cleanliness. Absolute impudence! We had a bill of 10 euros and tipped 1.5 euros. Instead of thanking us for it, they just commented that it was an extremely small tip and then that was it because of the friendliness of the waiter. I will never go there again, but luckily there are enough alternatives on the street.

It is a restaurant where the food is very good, David's attention is unbeatable and the quality of the food is exquisite.

Had a really great experience. Spontaneously decided to go to Vivet (we were on a day trip in Hamburg). Seating under umbrellas in the middle of the shopping street or in the restaurant. You can watch the chef cooking (open kitchen). The waiters were extremely friendly but not intrusive. The food (sea bream in teriaki sauce with vegetables and veal liver with apples, onions and mashed potatoes) was perfect value for money. Nicely prepared and a good portion.

Great place on the pedestrian street in Hamburg. Italian/German menu. Absolutely wonderful owner family. Dog friendly.

I ate here with my mom today. I can't understand the negative reviews. For a city with a lot of tourist traffic and such a central location, I think the prices are absolutely reasonable, and the food was delicious. We will definitely eat here again. A special thank you goes to David. He was really friendly and attentive.

Super nice service, very good food.

As a group of four, we spontaneously passed the restaurant and then decided to stop there. The prices were really steep, but you're happy to spend a few euros more if the quality is good. On the menu there was, among other things, stone oven pizza (that's how it was advertised) and you have certain expectations. Especially when the “stone oven pizza” Funghi costs an impressive 15.50. Then three small oval pins came to the table, which looked pretty like a frozen Pinsa from Dr. oetker remembered. It's a shame to declare it on the menu as a pizza from a stone oven! One of our group ordered a chicken wok dish with rice, where the rice was completely dry and the chicken was very rubbery. When we mentioned this to the waiter, he just shrugged his shoulders. There was also a group sitting at our next table eating their burgers from McDonalds. In the end I was also very jealous of their burgers. Absolutely no recommendation to go there. We were all disappointed and a bit angry to have spent so much money and to have been served such a meal.

Completely unfriendly. If you want to go to the toilet, definitely don't ask this store. You're only allowed to go to the toilet if you buy something. Afterwards I went to Henssler's and they were really nice and let me go to the toilet. So my dears, it's always nice to go to Henssler. the food tastes better too.🤗😔

Delicious food but toilets are terrible !

Despite the fact that the café was busy at lunchtime, there was no rush and you could relax. The coffee itself is very tasty and recommended. We felt very comfortable there.

Delicious food, varied menu and very nice service. Prices are okay for the location right in the city center. We were in town on a weekend evening and were looking for an uncomplicated opportunity to stop off. Since the surrounding coffee shops were completely overcrowded, we ended up here by chance and didn't regret it. Everyone found something suitable, from pizza to pasta casserole and vegetable rice pan to the soup of the day. The cappuccino was also of very good quality.

The food is average without any particular interest but the big negative point is that the waiter asks you for a tip saying that it is not included in Germany. Indeed it's always a plus but I don't like being asked for more than 15%. I only ate a salad. The waiter moved three times, once for the drink and once to bring the menu to the start. He got aggressive when I said I always left tips but I didn't like being asked for them. In Germany, drinking more is not compulsory and it is fraud to add them. I'm not the only one who had issues looking at the Google reviews of this restaurant. Obviously other customers have the same problems so you have to learn to be welcoming and change your behavior. This is the minimum that can be expected and when the service is truly professional, tips can be paid without being claimed.

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and the food and service were excellent. The staff were friendly and engaging, helping a non-German (me) choose something new to try. It is perfectly located on the center of the city and a great spot to watch the world go by.

Service was very good. Food and drink met expectations.

The waiter was very friendly, attentive and charming. However, the food wasn't good. I had a Caesar salad with crispy chicken. It was the cheapest convenience food made from mashed chicken leftovers. Worse than McDonald's chicken nuggets. The dressing was ok, but overall it was way too much and the salad was too seasoned and too unspectacular (for 17€ that has to be better!) The artificial leather on the chairs inside was chipping. There are toilets in the basement. These have sliding doors made of frosted glass. Apparently the locking mechanism on all doors is defective as hooks were subsequently installed to close the doors. But that doesn't work properly and when you push it, a gap about 5cm wide opens up through which everyone can watch you pee. It just doesn't work at all. Overall, you certainly pay for the location but certainly not for the food. About the restaurant's reaction: 1. This was not a high quality product. I know this product and it is super cheap. The salad was nothing. There are definitely better ones in my house. 2. I didn't say that the toilets weren't clean, just that they didn't close properly. 3. I'll now add a photo of the salad. Please pay attention to the inside of the "crispy chicken" when looking at it. It is a chopped, airy mass. Nothing with chicken and certainly not high quality. The taste was terrible.

Essen unter aller Sau, Service geht gar nicht habe 15 Min auf den Kellner gewartet bist man was bestellen konnte. Bürger sehr trocken. Tisch wurde erst nach dem bezahlen abgeräumt. Ich sagt das er für das Essen 51,-€ sehr teuer ist. Antwort die Stadt will viel Geld für die Fläche haben .............

We ate the best bruschetta and one of the best 3 pizzas (pizza veggie - huge) and tiramisus ever, the food was simply great, made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love, served with delicious draft beer and the finest rosé wine from the extremely friendly and attentive staff! This restaurant has a soul, with its team it creates a wonderful atmosphere! We are really looking forward to the next time and this feel-good oasis! Absolutely recommended!

We discovered this restaurant by chance on the way to the train station. There is definitely some very good pizza here. The best I've eaten so far. Friendly staff, you get your food really quickly and everything is freshly prepared. Price-performance is really great. Definitely recommended. Seating inside and outside.

Accidental find, tasty, attentive and fast service, good price/performance ratio.

The food was delicious but the service was at the bottom of the drawer. You tip €10 and you don't even get a thank you or a "goodbye" I think is very cheeky and a shame. In particular, it's just about a lady who worked as a waitress. The other younger waitress was super friendly and accommodating.

No place to have breakfast… everything was done very carelessly… not recommended

Were here on CSD Sunday for 2 coffees with milk and 1 apple pie. The waitresses were a bit listless, the toilets were a disaster.

AVOID!!! Ridiculously TINY portions, the coffee was made in an automatic machine like the ones you get at hospital waiting rooms, food was just generic, no presentation , NO LOVE !! It's basically GIVE ME YOUR MONEY AND F..... OFF !! Management should be ashamed of themselves!

Not a special restaurant. Due to the open kitchen, among other things, this restaurant is so noisy that conversations are practically impossible. There are no decorations or ornaments that suggest any prestige or nice design. It is very narrow and the seating, for example the bench, is very uncomfortable (hard). Of the three drinks ordered at the table, none were significantly good. The coffee presso was a big disappointment. Even the tea was described as "nothing special". The selection of vegetarian dishes was limited to four dishes. One of them was a basic salad, the other an appetizer. I had the wok vegan, which was simply served with sweet and sour sauce - contrary to actual woks - with vegetables that were not well fried. The portion was small, especially considering the super high price. The preparation of the half-warm meal also took a surprisingly long time. Another vegetarian person at the table, disappointed with the menu, simply ordered fries. These just screamed for more spice. The wrong type of potato was also chosen, or they were simply not cooked. The assigned waiter was also unable to maintain a friendly relationship with the customers. Even after paying with an increased tip despite poor performance, "thank you" was not even said in good manners. The waiter also didn't seem to be interested in the repeated misgendering of the customers. In addition, many limiting manners were chosen to make his job easier. Pressure was also built up to order - there is no second thought here. The menu presented was, like all other copies, out of date. Even dishes that were advertised on the board above the counter could not be provided and served "for over 2 years" - this addition to the dishes also offered the only valid alternative to a vegetarian dish.

I saw a lot of people sitting there and thought it could only be a good thing... I was happy too early... the burgers were super dry and there were moldy blueberries in my drink too.

We got butter that was dirty and had lint on it. I asked for an extra portion of salmon and there was very little. Breakfast for my friend wasn't much, and the service wasn't really nice and forgot to bring us cutlery. We spent a total of around €42 for the two of us and unfortunately it wasn't worth it.

Unfortunately, they don't let small children who urgently need to go to the toilet. What UNHUMANS

Leider kann ich nichts gutes über dieses Restaurant sagen. Meine Mutter und ich sind dort hingegangen um etwas zu essen. Innerhalb der ersten paar Minuten wo wir uns hingesetzt haben und die Karten in die Hand nahmen wurden wir sofort gefragt was wir essen und trinken wollen. Wir bestellten unser trinken und sagten das wir noch etwas wegen dem Essen bräuchten weil wir uns noch nicht entschieden hatten. Die getränke bekamen wir recht schnell und die Hausgemachte Limonade schmeckte garnicht mal so schlecht. Allerdings gab es ein Großes Problem wir hatten noch kein Essen bestellen können. Wir haben versucht auf uns aufmerksam zu machen ohne Erfolg. Nach knapp einer halben Stunde haben wir dan endlich mit jemanden von der Bedienung sprechen können. Aber nur weil wir mit dem Portemonnaie gewunken haben und laut gerufen haben das wir bezahlen wollen. Denn nach einer halben Stunde hat man die getränke leer und überhaupt keine Lust mehr dort noch irgendwas zu essen. Der Service ist dort also noch ziemlich ausbaufähig. Wir werden dort nicht mehr hingehen. Dazu sagen möchte ich das es drinnen fast vollständig leer wahr, außer 2/3 besetzten Tische, und draußen knapp die Hälfte belegt wahr. Bei diesen Bewertungen hatten wir uns schon ziemlich drauf gefreut und wurden dan leider sehr stark enttäuscht.

Scam-level overpriced. I'm a small person with a small appetite, but this was ridiculous. Had the 'good morning' breakfast, consisting of 1 breadroll (the kind you buy frozen and just heat in the oven), 2 slices of baguette (maybe 2cm thick and 4cm diameter), a single 2cm x 3cm slice of cheap camembert, abound a teaspoon of jam, a tiny pre-packaged pot of plain cream cheese, 3 strips of non-crunchy bacon, the amount of 1 egg scrambled, and fruit, consisting of exactly 3 grapes, 2 1cm cubes of melon and pineapple, and exactly ONE HALF of a strawberry sliced into smaller pieces. For 12,50€. Ngl it was perfectly edible, but utterly mediocre. I could've done way better by myself and in thrice the amount by spending 5€ at Aldi. There's much better and more food for less money at cafés less than a minute walk away. Do yourself a favour, pick one of the other ones.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Vivet in Hamburg and it was an extremely pleasant experience. Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Vivet is modern and stylish, with welcoming and cozy decor. The ambience is perfect for a relaxed dinner, be it with friends, family or a special occasion. Service: Service was very slow. We waited a long time for our food and waited 30 minutes for the bill so I had to go in to pay. The staff was actually quite friendly The toilets were clean. The friendly lady cleaned the toilets after each use. Food: The food was very delicious. The menu offers a diverse selection of tasty dishes. I tried the grilled salmon fillet in homemade lime sauce with buttered potatoes with spinach as my main course - it was excellently prepared and of the highest quality. The Kaiserschmarn with vanilla ice cream and warm strawberry compote was also a highlight and rounded off the menu perfectly. Value for money: The price/performance ratio is solid. Prices are reasonable for the high quality of the food and the excellent service. You leave the restaurant satisfied and full. Overall Rating: Overall, my visit to Vivet was a good experience. The combination of first-class food, rather very slow service and a pleasant atmosphere makes this restaurant an insider tip in Hamburg. I can recommend Vivet to anyone who wants to enjoy a special culinary evening.

The service was really very friendly and quick. However, the food was totally overpriced and by Dr. Oetker from TK. Never had such a bad “pizza” before. Wouldn't recommend eating there.

I actually wonder why people should still review on Google, because the owner then presents the posts as lies and deletes them. But well, it's worth a try with this new case: I was there on Saturday around 2:30 p.m. Waiter comes to the table and is SUPER arrogant. He chatted at me (woman) stupidly: "Well, I'll assume alcohol for you - Aperol or do you need it harder." I would have liked to have gotten up and left. Then I ordered my coffee and the rest of the table ordered drinks. When paying, he kept all the change without asking. I then asked the person paying if he even wanted to give a tip of just under 5 euros because he was also surprised. The waiter said, “That’s a 10% tip, that’s the minimum.” And then he left. And I just followed up by saying that the guest still decides whether and how much to tip. What a way to treat guests. Truly unbelievable...

We are on a short trip to Hamburg and ate here with the family. It was super tasty and the service was very pleasant/friendly... 🤩

We had dinner here on two evenings. The food and drink are excellent, the service is fast and done by friendly professional staff. A warm welcoming place on cold wet evenings, Vivet sent us back out warmed and refreshed.

Ordered two Café Crema, the price of € 4.20 per cup is already a house number, we are talking about a cup size with a content of 120ml! One cup didn't even have that amount of content. When we complained, they said it was because of the portafilter, so a cup would sometimes be fuller, sometimes less full! The bold waiter answered our entry cheekily and impudently. For me there is also a result, which means that I won't stop there again, I'm not angry with my money!

Quite a nice restaurant. We ate a hamburger and a tiramisu. There would be some room for improvement in both. E.g. Add flavor. The service worked well until the waiter almost wanted to tip.

Unfortunately the original pizza was Dr. Oetker La Mia Pinsa. Of course the price was different. We (my 7-year-old son and I) were not served in the Prego restaurant. Unfortunately, we went here because there was not enough time to get to the train. Butter, €2 frozen pizza for €14 is, in my opinion, criminal...

I've eaten here several times now. The service and staff are always friendly and the food is always delicious. The price is okay, but one would have expected a larger portion for one or two dishes.

The taste of the food was okay. Had the chicken wok with vegetables and rice. Unfortunately, I found the drink prices to be very high. I have never seen €4.00 for a 0.2l cola anywhere else. But the service was very friendly.

We've stopped here for a coffee break twice at different times. The outdoor seating area is equipped with a suitable canopy for chilly weather, and we prefer it because smoking is allowed. The waitstaff can be either attentive or indifferent at times. On both occasions, we ordered 2 Americanos and 1 chocolate cake. The cake actually resembles a Wiener Sacher, with the added bonus of marzipan inside. It would have been helpful if the menu explicitly stated "Sacher," as we didn't order it with that expectation.

I like this place, it is very nice, the staff is very helpful, attentive and fast, they do not neglect the details, varied menu and very delicious food, I ordered a Rumpsteak, vegetables and rice, really very delicious, for dessert the Tiramisu is the best option (excellent), you can also finish with a cocktail and affordable prices for the place it is, I always repeat.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr nach Hamburg und kehren jedesmal wieder hier ein. Und jedes Mal sind wir begeistert. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, der Service ist so freundlich und nett, auch wenn es mal voller ist. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf das nächste Jahr

Die Portion war leider beim Mittagessen so klein, dass wir danach noch etwas anderes suchen mussten. Das war bei dem Preis, der doch eine „ganze Portion“ erwarten ließ, sehr schade. Geschmack war in Ordnung. Würden wir wohl nicht erneut aufsuchen. Service war gut, das Ambiente war leider nicht sehr einladend.

Leider enttäuschend. Bei den starken Preisen und der Außenwirkung, haben wir uns etwas mehr und auch saubere Toiletten gewünscht. Mussten etwas auf den Service warten, obwohl nicht viel los war. Gäste die nach uns kamen, wurden vor uns bedient. Die Toiletten nur über eine Treppe zugänglich und unhygienisch. Der bestellte Milchkaffee war sehr gut, der Kakao schmeckte allerdings nur nach Wasser. Preis - Leistung also nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.

Servizio impeccabile, i camerieri sono molto attenti alle richieste dei clienti e sono anche molto amichevoli nonostante si mantengono professionali. Cibo molto buono, ho preso un burger e mi ha davvero soddisfatto. Ci tornerei volentieri se ci fosse l'occasione

Good coffee and cakes, reasonable price.

Заказали горячий шоколад, который принесли еле теплым (стоил 6,50€), глинтвейн был вкусным, шоколадный чизкейк был вкусным. Официант не убирал опустошенные тарелки на протяжении 2 часов, которые мы провели в заведении. Не было ощущения хорошего сервиса, за эти деньги.

Essen war frisch und lecker . Bißchen eng zum.sitzen dort . Der Kellner kam nicht um Getränke aufzunehmen , dauerte etwas . Dann ging es aber schnell .

Amazing food and drinks, a bit expensive for me.

Ambiente meiner Meinung nach wie in einer Bahnhofshalle, ständig wechselnder Service bei unserem Besuch. Wir mussten lange warten, dass jemand unsere Bestellung aufnahm. Deko eher lieblos und nicht richtig zusammengebaut, sanitäre Anlagen sehr schmutzig und ungepflegt obwohl eine Reinigungsfachkraft davor sitzt. Nutzung der Toilette soll dann nochmal extra gezahlt werden. Preise sehr gehoben. Kaffee sehr stark, wenn man diesen gerne schwarz trinkt. Nachtrag: Ich weiß nicht was es mit mir als Person auf sich hat, dass es meiner Meinung nach eher an das Ambiente einer Bahnhofshalle erinnert, ebenso kann ich nichts für eine vorgefundene schmutzige Toilette. Dass jeder Geschmack verschieden ist, ist bekannt. Schade dass so eine unfreundliche Antwort dazu kam, aber gerne verzichte ich und die Personen die mir am Herz liegen auch gerne auf Ihre Location. Hier sind mehrere eher niedrige und ähnliche Bewertungen zu finden und anstatt konstruktive Kritik anzunehmen und umzusetzen kommen solche Kommentare dazu..

War ok. Cola hatte kaum noch Kohlensäure, Burger war lauwarm. Für die (Touri-)Preise erhofft man sich mehr. Bedienung war freundlich.

Lecker gegrilltes Fischfilet - Mittagstisch am Freitag. Alles toll angerichtet, leckerer Salat vorweg, leckeres Brot ... so startet man gut ins Wochenende. Es ist lediglich etwas laut drin, aber es war auch sehr voll. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😀
