We had breakfast there, 3 adults, 2 children. Extremely friendly service❣️ Prices are moderate.

In terms of grades. Ambience 2, food gets a solid 2, staff have to be discerning. The man at the bar. Nice and accommodating is top notch. The barman tried to cheat me because I wanted to pay in cash, and when I noticed, I wanted the bill. And then suddenly there were still ordered items on the bill. Strangely, a minute before, he even cleared the two plates. But not the fried egg plates. You can always try to cheat, that's the motto I guess. I think it's a shame to have to write a bad review, but that's really not possible. It's not even that busy.

Overall okay Good vegetarian selection

We had dinner there two evenings in a row. We started with a quartered poppy seed roll with dip, mayonnaise, and ketchup. On the first evening, the tables were clean and the waitress very friendly. It was quick, and I had a salad that had been sitting out for a while, but it was still tasty. I could have said something, but after a tiring journey, I just didn't feel like arguing. The next evening, my husband wanted the schnitzel with Camembert and cranberries, so we went back. The table was still covered in crumbs from the poppy seed roll. After I wiped the crumbs off the table, the waitress (a different member of staff) came and cleaned the table; it looked a bit dirty under the table too. She forgot the dip for the poppy seed roll for us, and when I asked for a happy hour, she was irritated. I finally got my cocktail, but instead of sparkling water, it was still water. The food came quickly and tasted very good. But today we'll see what another restaurant down the street has to offer.

I've been there twice for lunch in quick succession. I loved it both times. The lunch special was unbeatably good value, even though I combined both dishes from the lunch menu. I'd love to come back. It's also a cool location and great decor.

We love Schweinske. Whenever we're in Hamburg, we eat there :) The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious and plentiful. The prices are still quite reasonable, too. We'll definitely be back.

We were there with a large group, and the servers were completely overwhelmed, even downright rude at times. Our bill was incorrectly prepared, and we were charged for things I didn't order. They didn't respond to my warnings. I ended up paying because I didn't want to argue. The food was good, but I wouldn't go back because of the service.

We and our visitors spontaneously went to Schweinske in Wandsbek on Saturday lunchtime. Unfortunately we neither liked nor tasted it. There were only a few other guests there. The staff was listless. The order was taken and brought to the table - no question as to whether it was tasty or whether you would like something more to drink. The breading on the schnitzel was thin, but the meat in the middle was even thinner. The supplements were formulated in a friendly and clear manner. I thought about a tablespoon full of sauce per schnitzel was a bit poor for the price. The taste was also average at best. Since the music was drowned out by the constant clatter of dishes in the kitchen, we didn't stay long. No, that was nothing and we were ashamed of our guests that we weren't offered anything better.

Food was okay, everything came super quickly, really top. One complaint is that 10 euros more were debited when paying by card, even though I was told what rounded amount it should be (because of tips). So keep your eyes open when paying!!

We were on vacation in Hamburg and the Schweinske looked inviting. First we were there for breakfast. That was....ok. Nothing super special, but homemade, delicious rolls. We liked the atmosphere so much that we went there twice for dinner. The XXL carving is a lot but delicious. The baked potato with salmon is also recommended. All in all, you can't go wrong with Schweinske. They have something for everyone.

I have already ordered from here three times for an appointment, three times my order was delivered late and I couldn't eat it - it was the last one that I ordered from this restaurant. You shouldn't play with people's money and time

We were there for breakfast on Saturday. We know it's full and that's not a problem. The waiter at the bar directed us to a table by the window in the corner. There is still a “Reserved” sign on this stand. We didn't think anything of it. It could be that the guests canceled and because it was busy, it hasn't been removed yet. All the tables around us were occupied. We waited for a while and then ordered our breakfast from a really nice lady. A while later the guests at the next table left. Shortly afterwards the waiter who directed us to this place came and was very rude to us. With the words: "I told you to sit over there, this table is reserved, you can see that!" The only problem was that the table to which he now thought he had directed us was occupied at this point. Super unfriendly. Super arrogant and annoyed guy! He messes up, doesn't keep an eye on the tables and insults us in front of the whole team. If I hadn't already ordered, I would have left. We can't help his mistakes. He hasn't even decided! And the guests who made reservations kept looking stupid at us. Thanks, but no thanks!

The food is delicious. The fried potatoes were great. Unfortunately the driver was very unfriendly. Immediately upon delivery he asked me in English why I hadn't specified my floor. Instead of giving me my food, he stood there arguing with me and kept asking “Why?”. I told him that I stated it when ordering and he continued to say that it wasn't on the receipt. But I didn't feel like discussing it any further and then I finally got the meal I paid for. You can see in the photo that I specified everything correctly. That really doesn't work.

We've been eating here more often lately and are completely satisfied every time. The completely renovated menu is modern and offers something for everyone, from bowls to schnitzel classics to vegan dishes, and is well thought out. The meals are always on the table quickly, the waiters are relaxed, friendly, quick and experienced. Nothing to complain about so far.

Actually always a safe bet if you want to go out for something spontaneously. Service is fast and the menu has been revised in recent years, so that in addition to the typical meat dishes, you now also have a good vegetarian and vegan selection. Absolutely fair price. Staff always nice.

The staff is quick and very nice, the atmosphere is calm! I can only recommend this restaurant! On my next visit to Hamburg, I would like to eat here again.

We live nearby so we come here often and enjoy having breakfast here. A waitress is almost always there when we are there. She can't even say hello or say when we want to order something extra. I feel uncomfortable every time she serves us. For me it's natural to be friendly and polite, but you can see that's difficult. Otherwise we like being here and the food is okay.

Female service worker on December 25th, 2024 was very friendly to her guests. The quality of the food was in the upper range because fresh ingredients were used and it was visible thanks to the show kitchen. Ambiance decorated according to the season and cozy. When paying the bill, the payment was very negative and rude. Tried to pay to get a tip, but I remained stubborn and even insisted on the €0.30.

Get a table straight away without a reservation. Unfortunately the waitress was all alone and had to serve several tables. The food tasted good, but unfortunately only some of it was lukewarm.

If a kitchen is as unappetizing as this one, I would have a hard time considering the concept of an “open kitchen”. Hinz and Kunz from the street come in and help themselves to the rolls, they seem to be employees who came from smoking. The meat was dry and bland, the "herb butter" was a disgrace, the grill plate was completely overpriced and I don't even want to get started on the ketchup packets. Real juice shop

Were there with 5 people. The meal - roast pork - went like this. Sauce was very tasty, but unfortunately the meat wasn't that tasty. When we wanted to drink coffee after dinner at around 5:30 p.m., we were told that the coffee machine had already been cleaned and that only coffee crema was available. Sorry, but there is a card on the table with a coffee offer, there is no time limit listed. Maybe you should postpone the cleaning until later or perhaps prefer a thermos flask. Just a tip.

Went to Schweinske's for the first time with our grandchild. Of course there was schnitzel with fries and Fassbrause. For our grandchild it was the best schnitzel he had ever eaten, and we also found it very tasty.

Well located and accessible, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the food and service were not optimal. Chicken fillet had a very strange taste and burger buns fell apart when trying to eat the burgers. Employees very dismissive, no friendly welcome and a permanently annoyed look, which only briefly changed to a smile when paying for the tip. Toilets were also in questionable condition. Soap dispenser was not functional and the sensor on the paper dispenser only worked reluctantly. We had made a reservation for 7 people and were still seated at a table that was too small while larger tables were available. So far the most modest Schweinske branch that I was “allowed” to visit.

I really enjoy eating at Schweinske... And I was really looking forward to the camembert schnitzel... I was very disappointed with what I got. I got a normal schnitzel with a camembert topping. Not as I knew it or as I expected it to be stuffed. And then I think to myself, no matter why or what the reason is... Then just don't offer it anymore.

Wanted to eat at Schweinske on Monday at 2:30 p.m. Unfortunately they weren't served. The nice boy at the bar told us there was no service employee there. I assume there were internal problems between employees here, but why wasn't the restaurant closed if guests cannot be served and are not allowed to order food? It's a shame, on our previous visits we always received decent service and the food tasted great.

We had dinner as a group. Schnitzel in the deep fryer is actually a crime, as are the fried potatoes very greasy and the schnitzel dry. The breakfast was very good. But in retrospect I ask myself whether breakfast should cost 9.90 euros, plus a pot of coffee, a glass of fresh orange juice and scrambled eggs with Bakon 31. Food 3 stars because the dinner wasn't good. Service 4 stars because the service at breakfast took a while. The young lady was always nice and friendly.

I've been here a time or two. This time the food was actually quite okay. Of course, the prices are a bit more expensive and there should be better food, but basically very solid food. I had the hunter-gatherer pig. The schnitzel was ok. I personally liked the sauce. The fried potatoes would definitely need more bacon and onions, then it would taste tastier. But all in all it was pretty good. Our service was super nice and friendly. Always smiled nicely too. The other employees in this store were exactly the opposite that evening. Everyone was in a very bad mood and when you asked about the toilet there were grumpy answers. So you didn't feel quite as comfortable there. But that's how it happens occasionally. The ambience is nothing earth-shattering now. It was made for the masses and is rather standard. Nevertheless, I personally thought the food was good and that was the reason why we were there.

Since we heard that schweinske is a must in Hamburg, and it happened not to be far from our hotel, we stopped by there. Nice venue with good music. Sitting inside and outside invites you to linger. The staff was super nice, despite it being busy. So you can only be congratulated if you have such powers. The only negative thing for us was the food, and that's what you come for. The schnitzels, the flagship, you would think, were nothing special. Apparently freshly breaded, I could have described it as TK schnitzel. Mine was very dry, with fries it was really dusty in the mouth. But I ordered with sauce, but unfortunately the pepper sauce wasn't to my taste at all. It felt like the cheapest ready-made sauce from a 20L bucket, simply warmed up. That really doesn't have to be the case these days. All in all, the food reminded us all of a cheap snack bar rather than a restaurant. But since we all had schnitzel, I might look through it again in the future and other dishes Try it and adjust the rating, it should be better. But it really wasn't anything like that. Maybe the sauces are prepared a little fresher, that would make a big difference. Drinks are otherwise very good. I thought the Udo beer was delicious. Cocktails well mixed 🙂

So there were two of us and we ordered 1 morning grouch and 2 scrambled eggs and 1 kiba for each. The woman who took the order also brought us the food. The woman gave us 2 morning grouches and we paid for 2 even though we only wanted one morning grouch, which we thought was a bit bad, but otherwise everything was good 😀

First of all, it was extremely loud, the volume of the television was so loud that it was very difficult to hear what was being said. The food is one, I'll say three minus. There is still a lot of room for improvement. Just fries and schnitzel and a miniature dressing-soaked salad is not why I should definitely come here. You have to put in a little more effort. My filled schnitzel bag tasted like it came from a fat bath and the breading was very thick, the inside consisted mainly of onions, some cheese and even less ham. But the whole inner workings were so little that you only came across it at the end. The prices are quite cheap, the money is made from drinks and everything else you might want. All in all, it goes like this...

Had a delicious schnitzel when we stayed in Hamburg for the 2024 European Football Championship.

I’m visiting from the U.S. I had their Schnitzel which was very delicious. It was a good experience having German food from what I’m guessing is a family owned restaurant. Great atmosphere and friendly people. The soccer tournament was on and the TV was on a low volume which I appreciated because I wanted to enjoy conversation with my family and I’m glad the owner was considerate of this. Only complaint was they do not take credit card so I had to pay cash. Otherwise, highly recommend.

We booked a table for a wedding reception- great atmosphere and delicious food.

I like to eat at Schweinske and therefore I often have brunch in this Schweinske, in Wandsbek. The food tastes good and the prices are right too. Unfortunately, I've noticed a few times now that there is a waitress (blonde hair) who is basically annoyed and doesn't have a smile to give. If there's a bad day, I understand that, but it's happened three times in a row now. When asked to pay by card, she turns around without comment to get the debit device. She responds to the request for rolls with seeds (sesame or something else) with an annoyed look and the statement that there are none. Nevertheless, she went away with the basket of bread rolls only to come back with mixed rolls. These were two examples of how it unfortunately happens again and again with her. I would like to emphasize that we are always friendly. So there is no reason to constantly be annoyed at us.
