Delicious appetizers. The highlight are the steaks on the hot stone. The steaks are a little more expensive, but the quality is reasonable. Highly recommended!

We had dinner in viva today and ordered steak. What was new for us was that you finish the steak yourself at the table on a hot plate, or the way you would like it. And we thought it was really great, including fries and the dips. All thumbs up 👍- TOP.

We only had a coffee with the dessert San Sebastian Cheesecake. The cappuccino tasted absolutely nothing but milk. The cake was ok but too much like lemon. The prices for the desserts are very exaggerated. The blackcurrant spritzer had hardly any carbonation. Unfortunately I can't say anything good about the operation. The table next door had steaks, looked pretty good, maybe it's just a place to eat :)

We felt very comfortable and warmly welcomed in the restaurant. The food (Argentinian ribeye steak 300g) was served very quickly and tasted wonderful. With the hot stone on the plate, you could finish frying the pieces you had cut to size on each cut side to your desired cooking point and every bite remained hot until the end. For dessert we ordered the San Sebastian and a huge pancake in a pan and here too the quality was just as high. The price was more than fair to what we were offered!

Steak very good. Cool concept. Prices are of course high. But the 400g Australian rib eye was worth it.

I visited the VIVA restaurant in Ludwigsburg and was absolutely thrilled! The truffle burger I had was to die for – juicy, perfectly seasoned and with a lovely truffle flavour. My girlfriend was equally enthusiastic about the truffle pasta, which was wonderfully creamy and aromatic. For starters we had the baked cheese, which was crispy on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside. The atmosphere is stylish, the staff is super friendly and the service is impeccable. For us it was a completely successful experience - deserves 5 stars!

We had a good meal at VIVA in Ludwigsburg. There was a lot going on on Saturday evening. A reservation is recommended. The service was friendly. We were there after a concert at the music hall.

I can't describe my experience in words! The quality this offers... for the price... That's INCREDIBLE! I've been there many times and have never been disappointed! The meat is great. No matter which one you take. The restaurant also offers something really unusual. If you order a steak, it will be served briefly pre-cooked on a cold stone on a board. In front of it is a very, very hot stone. You can cut the meat and fry it the way you want it! I think this is simply fantastic! With that you picked me up! I also ordered a truffle sauce that was homemade and very, very tasty! Also for a fair price. Fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! The store does everything right. The ambience is also nice! All in all 10/10.

We had a reservation for 6 p.m. on a Friday. The food and the ambience was very nice. After less than 2 hours we were asked to leave because our table needed to be refilled. We were not asked if we wanted another espresso and we were no longer allowed to choose a desert. For the prices, such a service is not exactly hospitable. We then moved on and ate a dessert somewhere else and drank something else.

Leckere Steaks zum selbst grillen. Preise sind etwas gehoben, gehen aber für die Qualität in Ordnung. Das Ambiente passt leider nicht zu den Preisen. Schlechte Abluft, Kinder die laut YouTube und andere Filme schauen, Gäste die per Videochat laut mit der Verwanschaft reden, usw..., das Personal gebietet dem leider keinen Einhalt. Sorry, aber wenn ich 50€ pro Person liegen lasse, dann erwarte nicht zwangsläufig mehr Stil, aber mehr Anstand damit ich mein Essen auch genießen kann.

We had a burger and spaghetti once. The burger was okay, but below average for a steakhouse. With the spaghetti (the portion was tiny) we were given a non-transparent grilled vegetable that was then added to the bill at 7 euros - for just a few pieces of vegetables. When we asked why it was so expensive, we got a snippy answer that it was always like that and there was no need to say it. We found this kind of treatment a shame.

Sehr nettes Personal, schnelle Bedienung, Essen kam schnell und war super Lecker. Verdiente 5 von 5 Punkten. Die Burger, wie auch das Argentienische Filet waren super. Der heisse Stein für das Filet wurde in der Hälfte etwa erneuert. Nur zu empfehlen.

Delicious steaks to grill yourself. Prices are a bit high, but are okay for the quality. Unfortunately the ambience doesn't match the prices. Poor exhaust air, children loudly watching YouTube and other films, guests talking loudly to relatives via video chat, etc..., unfortunately the staff doesn't put a stop to it. Sorry, but if I leave €50 per person behind, then I don't necessarily expect more style, but more decorum so that I can enjoy my food.

A little too expensive but very tasty steaks

The meat is very well selected and a beefer does its job well. That's why the price performance is not the best. The meat tastes good, but the sauces and side dishes are not exceptional, so overall it is a bit too expensive. 300g Iris steak with two frozen side dishes for €60 is quite a bit. What the hell... it was still good.

The food at Viva Restaurant is really tasty and well prepared, but the prices are a little higher than expected. However, the food justifies the cost as the quality is good. The large number of good reviews attracted us to this restaurant. Without a reservation we were seated at an extremely drafty table and with the attitude “you're glad you got a table in this crazy restaurant” - but okay, our fault, make a reservation next time or, even better, don't go at all. The service was substandard, unfriendly and aloof, as has often been written here. The entrecote with fries we ordered was okay but nothing special. The waiter commented: “Oh, you like it chewy and stringy”. Sorry 😂 that's not the definition of an entrecote and if your meat quality isn't right I won't take the fillet because of the saying. Sponge over it, the second dish killed the bird. We wanted to order several small appetizers, but that wasn't possible because otherwise the sales wouldn't be right. It came down to a pasta with tomato sauce for €16.50. First of all, a blatant announcement and should also be able to create a “steakhouse”. The pasta was ultimately completely overcooked and you could swallow it without biting and the packet of Miracoli tomato sauce rounded it all off. There's also a nice shisha bar atmosphere, but whoever likes it 🥰 Steak 5/10 Pasta 0/10 Service 0/10 We will no longer come or recommend this.

Food was great, but the service was terrible. This bald man of a waiter, how unfriendly and rude can he be. So if you're looking for good food but can do without good service, you've come to the right place. Nevertheless, we were kind enough to give a tip. Kind regards go out to the gentleman who has 43 years of experience in the catering industry and knows everything better.

We were here together on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 for the Christmas party as Dr. Eating Stefani. Very nice atmosphere, extravagant preparation of the food. Very tasty experience. We were particularly impressed by the two waiters who served us at our table. Very nice and friendly people who enjoy their job and have a lot of patience with sometimes complicated people. I didn't make a reservation, got a seat at the bar and then at a table because guests arrived later, the food was5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. So tasty and the people were very nice, friendly and accommodating. If I'm in Ludwigsburg I'll be happy to come back.

Food and drinks were quickly served as ordered, despite the store being full. Service very attentive and friendly. The food was super tasty. The only negative point is that you smell like you came out of the kitchen 😁 However, no star will be deducted for this and everyone should be aware of this in advance.

Wow. We were warmly welcomed. Ambiance looks great and cozy. The food is super delicious. And be sure to try the cheesecake. It runs in the mouth. Employees are in a good mood and enjoy their job. But reservations are recommended, otherwise it could be difficult to find a place.

It works. The prices are too expensive because the steaks only come fried and you have to make them yourself on the stone. Selling half a banana with ice cream and sauce for €18 is also steep. Approximately €100 per person is too much, but you have to get more

A nice atmosphere in itself. However, we were only there to have a drink. But others have eaten steak while they're at it and there's no exhaust for the smoke. In general it also felt like a poorly ventilated room and therefore there was quite bad air inside

We were there on Saturday lunchtime and had the truffle burger, tomato soup and shrimp starters. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The same goes for the desserts. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The ambience of the restaurant is also very chic and inviting. All in all it was great, would highly recommend it!

Dice MUCHO cuando mi esposo muy quisquilloso (británico, pero viaja a Alemania 5-6 veces al año) no solo dice “ese es el mejor filete que he probado en Alemania”, sino que luego pide un SEGUNDO FILETE - ¡teníamos el filete argentino y estaba completamente delicioso! Las papas fritas estaban perfectamente crujientes y mi hamburguesa con queso era perfectamente rosa por dentro. El personal era muy atento y amable. También recomiendo el tiramisú, es más ligero que la versión habitual y muy morado. ¡Si tienes la oportunidad de visitar Ludwigsburg, reserva con anticipación y definitivamente come en Viva!

Es war eine Freude diese Restaurant zu besuchen! Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und das Essen war schnell serviert und hat super geschmeckt! Die Location sieht auch gut aus Perfekt für eine romantische Dinner oder eine entspannte Abendessen mit Freunde. Noch eine positive Pult bekommt das Lokal weil am Sonntag haben der komplette Tag geöffnet Wir werden bestimmt wiederholen diese Erfahrung 😃

VIVA itself has no parking facilities. But there are plenty of parking garages within walking distance. The terrace is quite close to a street right at the entrance to the restaurant. The seating arrangement in the restaurant seemed a bit awkward. The restaurant itself is a bit small and accordingly tightly packed. The cheeseburger was very good, although upon request they charged €1 for chili peppers (4-5 chopped pieces). There was cheese added in a syringe. The taste of the burger was between good and very good. I would have liked the side dish of fries with some fries seasoning. For dessert we had tiramisu. To our surprise, it didn't taste like coffee as usual but like cinnamon. The taste of cinnamon wasn't intense, but it was unexpected. I would definitely rename it because this type of dessert was not and is not tiramisu. Still very, very well done. The service was friendly and all orders were served seamlessly. Thank you!

The food is of good quality and tastes good too. Unfortunately, the portions are quite small, so the price/performance ratio suffers. A wheat beer for €6 doesn't necessarily help with the increase... Unfortunately, our waiter couldn't shine when it came to service. He seemed very arrogant, correspondingly unsympathetic and not particularly customer-oriented. (We weren't even proactively asked if we wanted to order anything else in 2 hours) The ambience is nice, but the tables are very close together, which is doubly uncomfortable with the sizzling on the hot stones at the table. The bottom line is that there is potential but only average utilization.

We happened to be in this restaurant and wanted to have a drink and some dessert. The waiter seemed a bit annoyed because we didn't want to order anything to eat. I chose the tiramisu and wanted to know what the ingredients were due to my intolerance. The waitress just said condescendingly "It's a secret recipe and he can't tell me the ingredients because it's too secret!". I found the answer very condescending and snooty. Because I didn't want the exact recipe, I just wanted to find out whether certain ingredients were included. I waved him off (because I found his behavior very rude) and ordered one anyway. And also an elderberry spritzer. Which unfortunately tasted more like mineral water than elderberry. When my tiramisu came, I was a bit surprised. I was expecting cocoa powder, but everything was sprinkled with cinnamon and therefore very cinnamon-heavy. For people who like little or hardly any cinnamon, this should actually be on the menu. But it doesn't! All in all, we sat there for a while and were ignored even though the restaurant wasn't full. In between, the waiter came and continued to clear my plate in annoyance. All in all, the service was neither friendly nor attentive to us guests. Therefore we will certainly not come back and recommend it to others.

Simply TOP!!! Great ambience, friendly staff and of course not to forget, very tasty dishes. We came by spontaneously during the week and got a place without a reservation. We ordered steak and the feta burger. The tiramisu is also very good. Everything was very very tasty!!! I can only recommend!!!

Just great. The four of us spontaneously went by. Since everything was probably fully booked/reserved, the request came straight away that we had to leave at a certain time. If that was known in advance, that wouldn't be a problem! The service was good, the food was extremely tasty and there were a few interesting concepts. All in all a nice experience.

One of the best steak restaurants. The concept is that you get the meat grilled and then continue to grill it on a hot stone at the table until you reach your personal level of doneness. The meat was of absolute top quality and was super tasty. The selection of side dishes and sauces also offers a good addition. The ambience is nice, unfortunately you sit outside directly on the street. I can definitely recommend the restaurant to all steak lovers!

Hands down the best beef restaurant I have visited in Germany. You get this hot stone where you continue grilling your high quality beef. Staff is very friendly and professional to fulfill your hungry needs.

The steaks here are amazing and the hot stone brought with the steak allows you to finish the steak to your optimum doneness: rare, medium or well done. The grilled vegetables are another high mark. Wait staff are attentive and friendly. Our group visited VIVA twice during our stay since it was so good.

We were there last night and just wanted to have a drink and a salad. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The gentleman who served us was very unfriendly and rude. Every “extra request” (e.g. payment by card) was too much for him and he reacted rudely. The salads were prepared rather carelessly and definitely not worth the money and could have been fresher/washed better. Too bad we won't be back :(

I visited Viva again after a long time and was always very impressed. Nice ambience, delicious food and great service. I ordered a steak, which was super tasty and tender (you can taste the good quality here). However, I was a bit disappointed with the side dishes this time... The fries were way over fried so they were very hard, and the portions used to be twice as large. The sauces are also only 1/4 full. I think you can expect a little more for the price. What I also don't understand is that you pay €6 extra for sweet potato fries with a steak and only €4 for a cheeseburger.

I have been to VIVA several times and have always been completely satisfied. The staff is very attentive, professional and friendly. I've already eaten steaks, burgers and desserts and I can't complain. Tastes perfect, beautifully prepared and just the right portion. The drinks here are also very tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated and is very centrally located. Can only recommend the VIVA in Ludwigsburg!

The really nice waiter was irritated that we sat down ourselves (it wasn't obvious that we had to wait). We were allowed to remain seated at the mercy of the waiter. Fries were very salty, the atmosphere outside... Cozy is different. Probably a “place to be”. We don't have to have it again. 😊

The two of us were here after work and sat outside, which was really uncomfortable because of the noisy street. It was visually nicer inside, but given the heat we wanted to sit outside. I wasn't very hungry and just wanted a small side salad. But I was denied this with the advice that it only comes with a main course. Ok, then I'll have the truffle fries and the small side salad. No, that doesn't work either. So my colleague ordered the salad for me with her burger. Sorry, but what's that supposed to mean? I've never experienced that anywhere. As if the kitchen knew who the side salad belonged to. The salad tasted ok, the truffle fries tasted quite good. Service is really subpar and the store won't see me anymore.

The dishes we have eaten so far have been good. The meat is of great quality. The service is solid but could be improved. The atmosphere is very appealing. The terrace is right on the street but it's still nice to sit there. There is also a good selection of drinks.

I went to Restaurant Viva for the first time today on the recommendation of a friend and I wasn't disappointed. The service was excellent - the waitress was very friendly, courteous and really attentive. We really enjoyed the delicious food and the football game in the cozy atmosphere. I particularly recommend the fish that the waitress recommended to me - it was simply fantastic. I can recommend Restaurant Viva to anyone looking for super tasty food. We'll definitely be back! Pooh! Hands off! Before the renovation you were so great and I recommended you all the time, but after the renovation you're going downhill! Today I was dining there again after almost 3 months and no, I'll never do that to myself again. First of all, the menu has been revised so that only the expensive dishes are on it. The Spicy Fusiloni are no longer available very sadly. In addition, the fries were no longer a large portion as usual but rather very minny. My feta burger isn't even a hand big! My friend, who usually doesn't finish the pasta because it was so filling, didn't even get full. The fries used to be too much for me and now I don't feel anything in my stomach after the portions. Well, with the high prices and the food, at least the service should be good, but that's wrong here. The first question about whether cocktails were already being served was a lesson for me. The cocktail was spilled while being served, but well, no. As a long-time ViVa customer, I asked about the Spicy Fusiloni, and my partner got confused during the conversation and became lectured in a know-it-all manner by the nice bald waiter from the movie Split. Other workers next to us were called to work or, at the end, hummed a song and whistled when they were paid. If you're being too fancy, Micki, then at least do it smartly. That's it for you! One less regular customer!
