Stube 17 in Ludwigsburg

Two years later...please allow card payments...everything else is outdated...last night, June 14, 2025, we had to run to the bank to get cash...it's no longer possible. The service from the older woman was very mediocre, and unfortunately, her comments were also outdated... A wonderful place...broom on the modern...met great people at the table this evening...delicious food and wine. We'll be back...I haven't remembered since yesterday!

No special broom. Can you go there?

So I was in Stube 17 with friends a few weeks ago. Now I just wanted to see when it would be open again. That's when I came across the reviews. I've been to a lot of brooms, but this is simply the best. The food is better than in many normal restaurants, just much cheaper and, above all, very varied. I'm already looking forward to the next time. The wine selection is also great.

The meat with beetroot and cream, horseradish and potatoes was amazing, really recommended, very tender and very tasty. We also had a beef roulade with red cabbage and potato slices. That was also really delicious. You can tell that everything is made with love and at fair prices.

Too bad, too bad, too bad, It could have been a lovely evening if the landlord hadn't ruined everything in his short-tempered and unpleasantly unforgiving manner. During dinner on the occasion of my birthday, I and my companion speculated where the stairs in the dining room lead. After the meal, which I don't want to complain about, I just took a look. That means I wanted. Screaming loudly, so that everyone present flinched, he ran after me and shouted at me whatever I could think of and something more violent, which I won't repeat here. I would like to emphasize that there was no private sign or cordon on the stairs. There could have simply been more guest rooms upstairs. When I saw that there was a door upstairs labeled Artists' Gardarobe, I turned around, then I heard the shouts of the innkeeper who came towards me on the way back. He did not respond to my explanations and, on the contrary, continued to insult me ​​loudly in front of other guests. Then a guest I didn't know who was there with his wife said that you couldn't walk in these brooms anymore. Thank you very much for the support. I'll do it the same way as the other guest and his wife: it's a shame, but that's just not possible.

There is very good home-made food. We sat on the terrace, it's very comfortable there. The service is friendly and quick. We'll definitely be back!

Very good food in a nice atmosphere. Nice backyard to sit outside. Good wines. The burger as a “highlight” should not be missed if it is on offer. Very friendly, attentive team. We'd love to come back. Addendum: Ursula's homemade Chanterelle Maultaschen should also not be missed. Always worth a visit to Stube 17.

For a "broom" exceptional dishes, such as a "Bachus Burger". Nice, courteous service, cozy little terrace at the back of the house.

There is a feel-good atmosphere in Stube17. My highlight is the potato salad and the spinach dumplings. The wine is also very tasty and digestible. Since we feel comfortable in Stube17 and the wine and food are delicious, we asked for Stube17 for our wedding celebration and were actually able to celebrate there. Our guests loved the food (buffet), the service was warm, and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. We couldn't have chosen a better location.

Very good Maultaschen. There is a farm shop with a good selection. Note opening times. The broom is only open at certain times but is worth a visit.

Schnitzel and roulade were excellent. Unfortunately I have to give a deduction to the service. There was only one other table occupied apart from us, but after asking three times, they still didn't bring ketchup for our son. At some point he had his plate empty. Unfortunately, I found our service to be a bit unsympathetic and listless. Maybe she was having a bad day. But for me there is no reason not to come back. I'm clearly deducting two stars for the fact that you can't pay by card. It's 2023, but many catering establishments in Germany are still unable to keep up. It can't be that this isn't possible. The waitress' statement was that more and more restaurants are switching to cash-only payments. Digitization works wonderfully 👍

Finally good, solid Swabian cuisine a la Besen again.

The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in others' mouths. Absolutely the best experience I had, it almost made me cry! So visit Stube 17, order a glass of their amazing selection of homemade wines, drink, eat, and celebrate life. In der Stube 17 kann man sehr gute Hausmannskost essen, an dem Sonntag war sogar live Blasmusik. Die Maultaschen ein Traum 🥰 Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team

I want to talk a little bit about "Stube 17" which is not an ordinary restaurant, its a Besen - a German restaurant which served only traditional German cuisine and no beer , just home made wine from their winery and different kinds of juice! It's a great place for everyone:families with kids, seniors, young people .Pets are welcome to. The food is delicious, all sorts of wine are very good and the personal and the owners are extremely friendly and they made you feel like at home. The prices are very good. Highly recommended👏😃😋🍖🍷

Sehr schöner Besen, sowohl zum draußen und drinnen sitzen. Essen war sehr gut und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Danke an das Team.

Sehr freundlich, gemütlicher Außenbereich und die Spargelgerichte sowie Maultaschen sehr lecker. Nächstes Mal werden wir auf jeden Fall die Knödel probieren.

Gutes und reichliches Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Der Wein aus eigenem Anbau ... Gute Qualität zu wirklich annehmbaren Preisen. Hier zu sitzen macht echt Laune. Nachtrag ... der Hofladen ... wer richtig frische Ware sehen und kaufen will, kommt an dem Hofladen nicht vorbei. SO SAFTIGE Äpfel hatte ich seit langem nicht mehr ... reinbeißen und der Apfelsaft spritzt nur so. Und die Kartoffeln ... festkochend, "dreckig und nach Erde riechend" ... abbürsten und im Feuer garen ... der erdige, kartoffelige Geschmack ist ein Genuss.

Wir haben richtig gutes Essen in der Stube 17 genossen! Die Spinatknödel von der Chefin können es mit dem Südtiroler Original jederzeit aufnehmen! Dazu einen reichlichen gemischten Salat mit einem leichten, frischen Dressing. Und die Gerichte der anderen am Tisch waren von gleicher Qualität. Der Service freundlich und aufmerksam! Und ein Gastraum, der modern ist und Flair hat bleibt noch zu erwähnen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Wir haben bei der stube 17 unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und waren restlos begeistert. Christian und sein Team haben uns von der ersten Minute super beraten und bei der Umsetzung unterstützt. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker und die dazu gehörige Ambiente spitze. Wir können die Stube 17 nur weiter empfehlen und bedanken uns für den tollen Tag bei euch.

Super Personal im Service sowie hinter der Theke klasse Essen super Preis Leistungs verhältniss. Gemütlich, es ist zu Empfelen an den Wochenenden Sitzplätze zu Reservieren.

Wir waren das 1.mal in diesem Besen. Das Personal ist mega freundlich. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker. Nur ist für mich das Ambiente etwas zu Kühl gehalten. Trotzdem hat es uns gut gefallen dort.

Immer wieder eine Einkehr wert sofern man einen Platz bekommt😉 Die Covid-Zeit wurde genutzt um die Toiletten und den Innenraum zu renovieren👍🏼 Besonders mögen wir den "trocken" Trollinger🍷 - einfach lecker😋
