Yes, I can absolutely recommend it.

Delicious food and friendly service. The highlight, however, is clearly the atmosphere in the beautifully constructed greenhouse. A very nice place to eat and stay in both summer and winter.

Went for breakfast on weekdays during the week but unfortunately were very disappointed. The rolls were at least two days old and baked. The crust of the rolls was very hard and difficult to cut! In addition, you had to wait too long from the time the coffee was served until breakfast came! Unfortunately, the coffee was cold even though only three tables were occupied. It's a shame, I would have expected more given the beautiful atmosphere!

Varied menu, also for vegetarians, good price-performance ratio and very attentive service staff.

Update v. 11/9/24 Today we had a delicious breakfast for a change. Everything was again very tasty. 👍 ‐------------- We have been there several times and were not disappointed this time either. Service is great, orders are taken quickly and food is served quickly. The steaks were, as ordered, perfectly medium or English, my vegetarian dish was great with a lot of garlic on it. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because the restaurant is located directly on the railway line and freight trains thunder past quite often. But that doesn't detract from the delicious food. We will definitely go back. 😊👍

Always great food and very nicely served

A very nice atmosphere in winter and summer, sitting under palm trees in a Mediterranean environment. Unfortunately the food is average. The service is always very stressful and understaffed. Which unfortunately has its typical consequences. You can go there for a drink and a tarte flambée.

A nice place but very average cuisine.

Pure disaster! We made reservations online for 5 people, got a table for 4 and had to wait forever for the high chair! When we asked if we could sit outside, the answer was "We don't push tables together outside, so only a maximum of 4 people is allowed" (when we left, there were many large groups with even 3 tables pushed together outside) Unfortunately, the yoghurt sauce from the salad was a finished product and it was very carelessly dressed! After waiting over 1.5 hours for our food (other tables ordered much later and were almost finished eating) our food came and what happened?! My tarte flambée was cold and raw! It was complained about and taken back and "warmed up", which is unfortunately how it tasted! The only positive thing about this restaurant visit was the great changing area, but this is part of the garden center. Unfortunately, these are becoming fewer and fewer. It's clear to us that this was our last visit to this restaurant and a complete mess!

We were passing through and ate there two evenings in a row. The salads are very plentiful, very fresh and very tasty. The cheeseburger was also very good. Price-performance ratio convincing. The service was friendly and quick. The terrace is very nice. A recommended restaurant

Apart from a few questions from the waitress due to language barriers, the service was very good and courteous. For example, we received more of a certain type of bread upon request. Very nice and they try to fulfill every wish.

Excellent food and homemade lemonade! The salads are highly recommended! Friendly service staff and Mediterranean atmosphere!

Unfortunately we had to experience something yesterday that we don't want to experience again. Everything was fine until we ordered the food. Then unfortunately I got the wrong tarte flambée. The right one was taken but somehow it was prepared incorrectly in the kitchen, that can happen and I hoped to be able to eat with the others soon. After about 15 minutes the waiter came and asked if everything was OK with us. I said, unfortunately I still haven't received it. After another 10 minutes he came back and asked me if I still wanted it then they would prepare it. It was kind of forgotten. Of course, by now everyone had finished eating and I hadn't. I told the waiter I was hungry and would like to eat more. Then he ran away. After 10 minutes I got the food from another waiter and then only heard a sorry for the wait. Unfortunately, from that moment on the service was also poor. Our drinks were empty and no one wanted to take them anymore, we were completely ignored from that moment on. Our waiter, who initially served us, was only seen outside talking on the phone instead of taking care of his customers. If there had been a proper apology from the service or simply a coffee to compensate for the inconvenience, we would have been happy to come back because the food was really delicious. So unfortunately I have to warn the guests about the poor service. They also couldn't deal with criticism when paying and even then a proper apology wasn't given, just that we'll do it better next time.

The food was very good. Salad fresh, clean, beautifully presented and very tasty. Vegetables cooked crispy, not too much sauce. Fried potatoes were well fried, onions were very subtle and cooked just right. Rump steak exactly as ordered, a highlight in terms of taste. Juicy, tender, simply good. The service is very attentive, informed and helpful; also for a joke or two. Pleasant atmosphere, ambience very inviting and restaurant clean. Definitely worth a visit!

Were today on August 5th. 24 in the restaurant wanted to eat. Unfortunately the waiter was overwhelmed and didn't see that we could order. He was on his cell phone and didn't have time for us. It's a shame because everything else was always fine and the food was always good, as was the staff. Today the wrong waiter was there at around 3 p.m

Convenient for eating at any time.

We are (or in this case “were”) there relatively often. Unfortunately the service is becoming increasingly poor. The waitress came at the beginning and took all the orders. From then on he was never seen again. Dirty plates then stood at the table for 25 minutes (after each course). Various service staff preferred to leave empty-handed rather than clear the table. Finally, we asked for the menu for dessert, but unfortunately it didn't arrive for the next half hour (we decided not to!). You had to mention several times that you wanted to pay and ask for the bill. Issuing an invoice also seems to be a bigger hurdle, so we sat here for another 15 minutes and then left the restaurant after paying without an invoice. The food is good, the portions are mixed, the service is really bad. There are two really good people who really enjoy their jobs. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right, which is why we will go somewhere else in the future.

We were there in the late afternoon. Called ahead and reserved. We got a pretty bad table, even though there was quite a lot free. The distances to the other tables are very small and are a bit uncomfortable. The service wasn't unfriendly, but not particularly trying either. We were quite disappointed with the pasta dishes, which taste much better and are also cheaper. Pasta dishes in the IKEA restaurant taste similar, but are much cheaper😅 When we asked the waiter about contamination in the glasses, he looked at it and said it was paper from the bottle ;)) Sorry nil. Nor was it asked whether the food was tasty or whether you would like something else. The wicker chairs we sat on were pretty worn out. The ones from the neighbor's table didn't look any better either. You have to like the atmosphere in the greenhouse. Gives a bit of a canteen feeling. You can also watch birds that have made their home in the restaurant, a pleasant pastime while waiting for your food. You can smell the toilet from far away. The tables nearby are not recommended When we left the restaurant, we were ignored and not said goodbye. Price-performance ratio is definitely not right. Well, you can go there if necessary, but we probably won't visit there again, I would have expected a little more, although I didn't actually expect much.

Ambiance is nice. The breakfast is overpriced. Cheapest baked rolls and cheese. We were really disappointed, especially because the price was high. The coffee was mediocre. We wanted to have another drink, but there were maybe 2-3 waitresses. We won't go there again

Well located location on top of a hill with a beautiful panoramic view of the Rhine valley and the Vosges in the distance. When the weather is nice.

Great friendly staff, very nice atmosphere, smart chanterelle salad, deliciously prepared, large portions, once sausage salad with Brägele, which was also super tasty. We'll be back...promised.

We had breakfast on June 22nd, 2024 Staff very friendly Bench we sat on, backrest broken. Note to staff, problem is well known. It is unclear why the backrest was not replaced. It wobbles a lot and you're afraid it'll break. Parking was easy. Cappuccino very tasty. Toilets clean and well maintained. Atmospherically good. For breakfast: paid €31 (without drinks), rolls are baked rolls. Cheese had already been exposed to air for a few hours and had therefore hardened/dried out on the edge. Salmon contains a lot of cartilage/bones. €15.50 per person is not a reasonable price: either you lower it a little, then the quality of the offer is ok. Or you could increase it a little more (!) and noticeably improve the quality of the products (!) then it would be fine again. So the P/L ratio didn't work for me.

We have eaten here several times on the way from Freiburg. There is an alternating additional menu depending on the season. The selection is huge. In summer you can sit outside - in winter the winter garden invites you to linger. The food is good and there is always something for everyone, whether meat lovers or vegetarians

A restaurant-brewery set up in a large, fully glazed greenhouse which highlights a very beautiful landscape. The omnipresent vines on the surrounding hills changing colors depending on the season, bring a constantly renewed decorative magic: From light green to dark green, from yellow to ocher and what about the immaculate white when the snow covers this very beautiful panorama. For many years I have been going there with friends to show them this extraordinary place. Rather ordinary cuisine. The staff all depends... But I really recommend this establishment for its decor and its location.

Good selection of food and drinks. A reservation should be made in advance. Waiting times for food and drinks were okay. Unfortunately, portions have become smaller and smaller in recent years and the price has become increasingly higher. After my last visit I had the feeling that the price-performance ratio was no longer right. Parking spaces are sometimes scarce when the nursery is still open.

The salads are particularly recommended. We had reserved a table for two. What bothered us was that there wasn't even 30cm of space for the next table for two. Not that we have anything against strangers, but we heard every word.

The ambience is really great. Unfortunately, we weren't completely satisfied with the food today... The steak we ordered medium arrived almost cooked through, and after an uncomplaining complaint, we had a new steak less than a minute later, which wasn't really medium either. Seemed to us very much like mass production and keeping warm. The side salad tasted 1:1 like the ready-made salad mix from the supermarket. If this is really the case, it would be really dangerous for me as a pregnant woman because of the possible bacteria... For the price, the quality is simply not satisfactory.

The place itself is really great. It's not every day you're in such an atmosphere - a greenhouse! There are even a few little birds flying around, really great. The food is okay. There is no cause for complaint and it is rock solid. But I expect a little more when I go out to eat. However, the service was slightly planned, which sometimes led to unnecessary waiting times, as we had to ask several times until we could pay.

We had reserved a table for Mother's Day and unfortunately left because we weren't supposed to get any food and when it was clear that we had reserved we had to wait 1 hour for the food.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. Today we had a reservation and it took a while for anyone to approach us. We were told the wait was an hour and we agreed. After a few moments the lady handed us the small card and said that there was no other option. She didn't offer us anything to drink. When I said I wanted a normal card, she said that wasn't possible. Big disappointment. I came 40 km to you for free.

Preferably 0 stars because there was nothing to eat except that the employee picked his nose, which 3 of us noticed. We have been coming to eat regularly with 8-10 people for a year now and have always been satisfied. There was another colleague there today. This colleague had his long hair tied into a braid. This employee was so unfriendly when we asked if it was possible to close the door because it was very drafty that we decided to leave straight away. It's not the first time we've been served like this by this gentleman. Only come when the bald gentleman is there, he is always friendly and very competent!

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a great view, but the food is pretty tasteless and very unseasoned. Great for drinking coffee, not recommended for eating out. Also, the waiter wasn't particularly nice when it came to paying. He threw the card reader on the table and we didn't ask how we liked the food, nor did we say goodbye after paying. Unfortunately very unfriendly.

I was very disappointed, there were 2 of us plus 1 child. We only got 2 knives and 2 plates for 3 people. It took over 1 hour for breakfast to arrive. Not a second time. Not recommendable!

We had a friendly waitress who gave us a seat without a reservation. The only thing that we weren't asked once in a while if we wanted anything was probably due to the huge crowd.

Food great. However, some of the seats are more suitable for kindergarten children than for adults.

The food and drink came quickly and was delicious. Culinary top. Ambience very nice. It took a while before the waiter came to pay. When you wanted to take a voucher with you, the staff behind the counter, who was busy with a terminal in front of it, ignored you and told you that you had to wait. Unfortunately, it somewhat tarnished what had been a good experience up to that point. After a long wait, you left the restaurant without a voucher.

The selection on the menu is wide-ranging and offers something for every taste. The vegetable curry I had also tasted very good, the portion was just the right amount for my taste. It was very busy (Saturday evening...), the employees were stressed and probably understaffed, which led to longer waiting times (20 minutes until the drinks arrived, 1 hour until the food). But they tried very hard to do everything well, There were also requests for desserts, coffee, etc. The location, influenced by the flower center next to it, is beautifully designed with lots of plants, matching wooden furniture, a glass roof, tall palm trees between the tables, etc. I can recommend it.

Whenever we are in the area, we go to Vinolivio and are always thrilled. The food is very tasty and the ambience is simply great. We always enjoy coming here.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as in Köntreiben. Schnitzel was ok. Fried potatoes were black. Vegetables were cold. They were served again after a complaint. The taste was ok but there was still a lot of room for improvement.

Actually I should give zero stars because the "service" was really subpar. This cannot be excused by a lack of staff in the catering industry. After we had clarified with a waiter that we could also sit outside (desired and friendly), we waited about an hour until our 4 drinks came (a coffee probably 25 minutes before the rest). We might have been able to tolerate that if another waiter hadn't come to the table in the meantime, slammed one of the glasses on the table and insulted us that it was February, they weren't open outside yet and they were getting the A .. freezing while we sat outside comfortably wrapped in our blankets. Our reply was completely ignored and the next table, which consisted of at least 10 people, was left alone. It's a shame, it used to be easy to go there. Now. Never again...

My absolute favorite restaurant. Both at lunchtime during the break and in the evening with your partner. Very nice atmosphere and the gnocchi with pesto are absolutely amazing! I've never eaten anything so delicious🥹

Wir waren alles in allem zufrieden. Freundlicher Service und die Speisen kamen gleichzeitig an. Kulinarische Luftsprünge darf man nicht erwarten, aber wir waren wie gesagt zufrieden. Die Frage ist wohin hier der Anspruch der Inhaber führen soll. Der Laden ist quasi immer voll. Die teilweise sehr schlechten Bewertungen sollten ein deutliches Zeichen für eine Bestandsaufnahme der Betreiber sein….

Every time I dread visiting Vinolivio. The quality of the food is really unacceptable for the price charged. Salad mix from the bag, pasta cooked too soft, rösti fried too dark. Carelessly done. Chocolate souffle warmed in the microwave, causing the soft center to fizz. Can't recommend the place. There's always something wrong with the food.

Always happy, the food and drinks are very good, great atmosphere, good vegetarian options. It is advisable to reserve during peak times. The bill is a bit more expensive than elsewhere.

We were guests again today in the afternoon with our two children (2 years old). The food was again very good. Unfortunately, I was suddenly approached by an older waiter and asked that my children please not get in the way because he was stressed and there was a lot going on. My children just sat on the edge, not in the way or even remotely disruptive. When I tried to talk to him, the not really nice gentleman replied that he couldn't help it if there was a "clap" next and he caught the children...! (Family) friendliness, respect or hospitality don't seem to exist here! Children are apparently not welcome, not recommended!

The food was very good. Unfortunately the service was very slow, but that wasn't due to the waitresses. There were definitely not enough service staff to manage the entire service. Either the restaurant has the same problems as many other restaurants, there are not enough staff, or there were simply too few people assigned
