Very nice staff, helpful and competent.

We got a free upgrade to a junior suite with a balcony and were of course thrilled with the size of the room and bathroom. For my birthday there was a lovely surprise in the room and warm, personal congratulations. The room cleaning went well after the first night. The dinner and dessert in the restaurant was very fine. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a large selection. The employees are all very friendly. The location of the hotel is quiet, despite the nearby road. I enjoyed the view of the neighboring horse farm. The air conditioning in the room served us well. I personally really liked the furnishings in the round part of the restaurant, these niches with carvings. Free parking right in front of the hotel was also good. It's a stone's throw from various thermal baths, and it's also not far from Freiburg. Good thing it had a closet to store clothes. Even though the shower in the junior suite was so large, the shower water actually sprayed all the way to the toilet. The floor there by the shower looks a bit unsightly, calcified. The room was overheated, but luckily the air conditioning worked. We just found it a bit strange that we had to artificially cool down the heat in the room. A temperature of around 19 degrees is recommended for sleeping. 20 degrees would have been okay, but the room was significantly warmer. In one part of the restaurant there was a somewhat uncomfortable draft at leg height. From the second day onwards we had space in the round part of the restaurant, which we liked better anyway. The size of the junior suite is great - you could make it even more comfortable - with decorations or an even more comfortable seating area, perhaps with a bookcase, an artificial fireplace or something else. There is a sofa - but all the furniture is just against the walls and there is a lot of free, unused space in the middle. At night the night light on the ceiling, which runs all around, could not be turned off. The free WiFi was a bit slow and unreliable and didn't work in the restaurant. We didn't hear any conversations from our neighbors, but when they showered, it was like they were showering in our room. The room doors bang too loudly when they close.

Came to celebrate a birthday in the reception room. Émilio the waiter is a rare person who knows how to make the guests smile. The dishes offered were qualitative, especially delighted by the goulash / red cabbage. I had a really good evening in this establishment. THANKS

Very nice hotel, we were greeted very nicely. The food and rooms were great, we didn't miss anything.

Located about twenty minutes from Freiburg, we stayed there for 1 night with dinner (buffet, excellent goulash!) and breakfast (shame about the lack of sweets and pastries) included. Very large and clean room. Friendly and kind staff.

Except for the cheerful receptionist, the staff was very nice and the service was very good, including breakfast. We had a nice room, location about 10 km from Freiburg, what more could you want.

Hotel located in a small rural municipality. The rooms located on the mezzanine floors are discreet. Convenient parking. Typical cuisine. Good service.

So unfortunately we were NOT satisfied. We were there via the WE and had a room on the 1st floor. The food was frozen and canned, unfortunately very watery and tasteless. But prices like in a posh hotel. Rooms were way too hot, no air conditioning, no fan, not clean, bed was fresh but dust everywhere. The balcony was dirty, no proper seating on the balcony, not even a table. Very lean unfortunately, where are the guests supposed to sit on the floor? The shower was a disaster, the drain was clogged, you stood up to your ankles in the shower water and water leaked out and flooded the bathroom. Danger of scalding, the water gets so hot on its own that you have to get out again. This was the case in several rooms. We felt it was totally overpriced and ripped off for this service. At breakfast there was no working salt shaker on the tables. However, the waiter was nice and tried very hard. In the breakfast room the dirty dishes were not put away and the tables were not cleaned for other guests. Every table was used. Unfortunately the staff was not attentive enough. We therefore don't recommend it, it's a shame.

Nice hotel in a good location. Unfortunately the kitchen is terrible! For example, you won't (hopefully) get a frozen Black Forest cherry cake served half-thawed anywhere in any other restaurant in the Black Forest. Breakfast and dinner were similarly bad and therefore not worth the price. If you just want to stay overnight, you can stay there.

Rooms have no air conditioning although this is advertised. Showers are leaking. Water that is way too hot, so you get burned. Cold warm regulator broken. No fan in the room. Germ table on balcony. Old folding chairs. So we weren't satisfied.

We visited the Allemannenhof as a group traveller. Had a very nice, bright, large room. The facilities were good. Dinner and breakfast tasty and rich. However, the atmospheric waiter could have curbed his temper a bit. Would recommend the hotel restaurant.

Rooms seem very cheap and not quite optimally clean. 160 euros is way too expensive for what is on offer. I wanted to buy a bottle of cola, the employee wanted to charge 15 euros :D :D Impudence, it's more expensive than if I had ordered individual small glasses.

I was looking forward to the tour through the Black Forest. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Rooms are clean, but then it stopped. Showering was difficult because the shower head didn't fit into the holder and the highlight was the water. Regulation of hot and cold water was also great. Either very hot, danger to life, or freezing cold. While eating, I asked myself where the cook learned his craft. Everything has no taste, herbs are a foreign word. All bag and canned vegetables warmed up briefly. Bon appetit

Spacious rooms, spacious bathroom. Breakfast sufficient. Quiet area, ideal for transit. Unfortunately we arrived later in the evening when the kitchen was already closed. So looking for external food

Well located not far from Freiburg, quiet, with spacious rooms with very good bedding. 1 downside for the shower where you need patience to obtain the correct temperature. The breakfast is faultless.

Hotel in a good position to visit Freiburg, Colmar and the Black Forest. Large hotel with comfortable rooms, good cleanliness. Friendly staff. Good breakfast, but mainly salty food. Restaurant with local dishes.

Unfortunately, I wasn't at all satisfied in the restaurant. I ordered a steak with asparagus. The steak was well done and I was charged €29.99 for 4 sticks of asparagus. Just for the asparagus. The steak again separately €25.50. The price of asparagus was a disgrace!

Habe nur das Restaurant besucht. Leider war der Koch anscheinend arbeitsunfähig und somit gab es nur Getränke und keine Speisen! Auch da ist der Abstieg in Deutschland angekommen!

Beautiful setting for this well appointed hotel. Great dining and fantastic breakfast.

Hatten im Spiegelsaal unsere Betriebs- Weihnachtsfeier. Das Buffet war reichhaltig und auch für die Vegetarier unter uns wurden gut versorgt.

Im Frühjahr, Sommer und im Herbst toller Garten im gepflegten Außenbereich. Sehr empfehlenswert super freundliches Personal. Genügend Parkplätze direkt am Alemannenhof! Wir haben hier im Spiegel Saal unsere Weihnachtsfeier gefeiert und das war ein wirklich sehr schönes Ambiente.

Ottimo albergo cibo così cosi ottima la colazione
