We were a party of three at the restaurant on December 3rd. The service was very friendly and efficient. We each opted for the large meat platter, which was an excellent choice. The portions were very generous, and the taste was simply fantastic. We hadn't eaten such delicious food in a long time. The other diners were also very friendly. It was a lovely atmosphere.

We didn't have a reservation, but we were still able to spend an hour and a half there. That's enough for us. This place is truly "on." It's wonderful to see it fill up. The staff works hard but remains friendly. Not just one person at a table, but everyone attentive. Spare ribs... wrapping them up and taking them with us because we were full wasn't a problem. Dessert was delicious... and... indeed... the meat falls off the bone... a kilo??... I couldn't finish it. Good luck!😆

We had a wonderful meal. We ordered spare ribs because we'd heard so much about them. And indeed, the spare ribs were delicious. They come in two varieties: regular and spicy. Luckily, they also offer two portion sizes: 600 or 1000 grams. The meat practically fell off the bone. Served with fries or fried potatoes and a salad. We received a complimentary baguette with a selection of sauces as a starter. Atmospheric restaurant, friendly staff. Both German and Dutch are spoken. The restaurant was full; without a reservation, you'd be forgiven, or maybe you could manage it later in the evening. Because it was so busy, it took a while before we could order another drink. Unfortunately, there were only a few parking spaces on the property. Parking is available on the street or in the surrounding streets.

We had a great meal and received a warm welcome. We hadn't booked but still got a table. Excellent.

Yesterday, October 24th, we were at Villa Langenberg with 11 people and it was really SUPER, the food and service were delicious, large glasses of beer and coke, it was top-notch, highly recommended, the schnitzel and unlimited spare ribs, and you really should eat them because then you know what you've been missing.

I've heard a lot about it, and today was my first time eating there. The spare ribs were delicious!

I go there several times a year with a group of colleagues. The quality of the food is excellent 🍽️😋👌👍 The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Highly recommended after a day of shopping in Gronau or the surrounding area. Real value for money.

Dutch gezelligheid in Germany? Yes please! I came here for my birthday dinner with my family and it was such a treat. We did not have a reservation but were seated right away. We ordered the spare ribs (small portion) and it was so much food you had to roll me home. Everything was delicious. What a feast. I ordered the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and it was brought to the table with a little firework candle. They sang happy birthday to me and it was so delightful and sweet. I couldn’t believe how kind they were. Thank you for making my birthday so special. My son loved the arcade game with old school Street Fighter. He didn’t want to leave. The playground is a great touch as well. Prices were very good and the service was excellent. We went on a Tuesday night. We thought it would be a quiet night but it was busy. The two waitresses working did a great job and they sure did have their hands full. They spoke Dutch, German and a little English. Also we liked the menu. It was organized and specific about what eat plate includes. The baguette they brought to the table was amazing. It was fluffy and fresh. Everything was well thought out. Thanks for the great evening. We will recommend this wonderful restaurant to our friends. P.s. We loved the leopard wallpaper in the hallway. It’s a beautiful touch!

First time ever! Just had a wonderful meal outside. It was absolutely fantastic! You can choose between a large drink or a small one. We received a basket full of baguettes with spreads, a real welcome! The spare ribs were delicious. The two men ate well! I had a chicken burger with fries, everything was perfectly served. I can't say anything about the atmosphere, I picked up a Jumbo sperribs of 39,- It was not what I expected. Overcooked it fell off the bone. And the accompanying potatoes were 50% black burnt. Does the chef eat that at home too? Plastic container completely broken what a mess I thought. First time and last time, I could have gone back. But I saved myself the trouble. I certainly don't think this is advertising especially not if you come for the first time.

On the advice of a friend of ours we went here. We don't live nearby but I would really drive for it. We had a wonderful meal. And my husband thought the spareribs were delicious. The atmosphere was good, the staff super friendly. We would love to come back with the rest of our family.

Unfortunately, we weren't impressed by the ribs. The meat was tender, but the outside was unfortunately completely dry. The side dishes were good, and the service was good, too. The atmosphere was quite dark.

We've always only eaten in-store. Everything there was always to our complete satisfaction. This time we ordered. We called and then drove from home. We waited a maximum of two minutes there. Then we ordered, and the food arrived. There were two of us picking up, and we had ordered food for four people. We received two huge boxes. Each box contained salad, fries, a baguette, three large bowls of dips, and, of course, the food we ordered. When we got home, we looked through the entire package and were simply delighted. The food was still hot and absolutely delicious. Conclusion: I highly recommend ordering in-store. I'd be happy to do it again.

I 100% recommend this restaurant. These steaks are a feast for the palate, and the other dishes also looked incredibly delicious. 😋 No wonder. Reservations are a must. I was lucky that a table was available for us. 😄

Delicious food, service is top notch.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area... (I live in Borne so we'll be crossing the border in a moment) I usually eat the spare ribs with garlic sauce and sometimes the schnitzel. My friend always takes the T-bone!!! The spare ribs are always nice and tender and very tasty and what you don't eat they pack for you so that you can eat it at home the next day. The T-bone is really one for meat lovers, a nice, thick, good piece of meat from the grill. Super tender and tasty. Definitely recommended!!!

We took advantage of the all you can eat offer and, as always, were thrilled with the spare ribs. The meat falls off the bone and is super tender. The service is always nice and friendly.

The spare ribs are simply amazing. The service is very friendly. Unfortunately, it's a bit noisy due to its design. Nevertheless, I'm happy to drive the almost 100 km from Hamminkeln to eat there.

For years, Villa Langenberg has always served the best spare ribs from the entire region. Things have changed now. Today wasn't the first time the spare ribs had been left on the grill too long and were completely black. Additionally, there's now a surcharge for fries. These were always included in the price before. So, you now pay a whopping €66 for two portions of spare ribs. That was the last time for us for now.

We were at Villa Langenberg yesterday and I have to say it was a very nice evening. We received a friendly welcome straight away and didn't have to wait long for our drinks. After we received sauces and bread as a small starter, our food was served straight away. We ordered the "all you can eat" and the spare ribs were simply delicious. As side dishes we got fried potatoes, fries and salad, which we could order again and again. The service was also very courteous (despite the full house) and we felt very comfortable. We will definitely recommend your house and would be happy to come back.

The food is really tasty but unfortunately no one comes to reorder at the all you can eat, we had to wait 30 minutes after the first round before we could order. After the second round we didn't feel like waiting that long again and got up. We won't come again

We're a little disappointed with tonight as we had such high expectations! The table was reserved and when we arrived we first had to wait because we had to ask where we would be seated. The place was semi good because we always got a train when the doors were opened. I would have liked something better for reserved seats. The restaurant is nice, but has an acoustic problem due to its construction. When it's full it's loud. There's not much you can do about it. Well, we waited at the seats for a while until people noticed us again. I noticed the waitress being given a hand signal because we hadn't been served yet. We also waited a long time for the drinks. I've never waited that long for a Saturday anywhere. 3 main courses were ordered. The bread basket and sauces arrived quickly. Food took again. Two bowls with side dishes were then served: 1x fried potatoes, 1x fries. There was nothing more for 3 people. I was so rude that I flagged down a waitress and asked if the second fried potatoes were coming too: there were two portions in the bowl, so if we needed anything else we could order more. My apologetic: That wasn't obvious was met with a harsh: Yes! Yes, sorry I asked, honestly! And honestly: if I've been waiting forever for everything, when should I reorder so that it's delivered before I'm finished? But hey, no problem. We didn't feel like asking for the salad anymore - the salad that was included in the meal. The ribs were delicious, but we misjudged them - no problem, you can have them packed. I don't know, but again I had the feeling that I shouldn't have asked the waitress. She then said rudely that she would send someone. The lady was also very nice - complete opposite of the other waitress. Payment was made at the front. And then came another surprise: The mayo for the fries was not ordered, of course it was added and charged €1 - if I had known, I wouldn't have used it. Sauces were recommended for the meat plate "best of pork" - wisely, otherwise the meat would be too dry. What we didn't know: the gypsy sauce cost €3 extra. Absolutely no relationship! I'll add photos so you can get an impression of the side dishes. We definitely won't be coming back any time soon, there are simply better things to do in Gronau and the surrounding area!

Hi, Yesterday we spontaneously had dinner with 7 people at Villa Langenberg and, like every time, it was the best. The food was very good and the beer supply was great. Me and my colleagues always enjoy coming back.

If you want to have a good and pleasant evening with a good plate of food, then this is the place for you

Spare ribs burnt, pork loin not cooked through, no fresh cream on the dessert and the Dutch service was not customer friendly.

Wir waren mit 7 Freunden da. Die Einrichtung ist eher rustikal, die Geräuschkulisse hoch. Die Küche bzw. die angebotenen Speisen sind einfach, dafür aber solide umgesetzt. Der Service war sehr gut, aufmerksam und freundlich. Allgemein eher für lustige Abende mit Freunden als für Dates geeignet.

The food itself was really great so you can't really complain. But the fact that the table is completely cleared away during an “all-u-can-eat” because you go smoke in the meantime is not possible! Jackets were all hanging there, cutlery was laid to the side so that it was actually “NOTICABLE” that the table wasn’t ready. But no, everything was cleared away, the only thing left was an empty wine glass. The sauces were still almost full and the side dishes were just the same.

And I went in to pay. The restaurants are predominantly Dutch. Maybe that's why we've been forgotten. Very sad. I can't recommend it There are much better restaurants nearby for 75.50 euros.
