Prices were ok for what you got. Portions weren’t much, but food was good. It was great to have bean sprouts and basil for the pho. Service was ok, nothing exceptional…as expected in Germany.

Good authentic flavors. Also Vietnamese chefs. Noodle soup was tasty and quite spicy. Prices are excellent, especially for a city like Munich. It is a place where they prefer that you order, eat and leave..... New customers at your table as soon as possible

Very authentic restaurant, a hidden gem in the old town. I had my best pho bo outside of Vietnam there. Light broth, rice noods and thin slices of beef, generously covered by spring onion and served with bowl of soy beans, thai basil and lime. They also have traditional spicy sauce (that i didn’t use) and sriracha (that I put quite a lot). Very honest and authentic, I wish I could come again to try other dishes.

We had Bun Bo Hue (BBH) and steam rice with Duck. Both are under the average. Bun Bo Hue has the Pho soup with some BBH flavour on it. Really bad. The duck rice dish was so salty, the sauce is not eatable. The duck meat is good. The portion of the rice is well too small. The toilet restroom is not cleaned. The bill is quite expensive. Overall i give 3/10

Viet Soup is our go-to when we're craving uncomplicated, authentic Vietnamese cuisine! We often come over spontaneously for lunch or bring something home with us in the evening. The atmosphere is pleasant, you sit nice and relaxed. The staff is always quick, friendly and attentive. The food impresses every time – super fresh, clean and simply great in terms of taste! Absolutely recommended, whether for eating in or taking away! 🍜✨

A pleasant place with a nice Vietnamese atmosphere. The spring rolls were a bit disappointing with such an impression as if they had been bought somewhere. The soup completely corresponded to its price: the size was very reasonable and the taste — satisfactory.

The best vietnamese food. You don't have to wait long till food is served. Everything is done with love. The plates are big and food is very tasty. The prices are normal. The place is small, but cozy, near the center square, simply to find. The service is very fast and polite. They have english and german menus with pictures.

Today around 5:30 p.m. I ordered fried noodles with vegetables and chicken to take away. At home I realized that the portion was ridiculously small. See photo. €9.90 for this portion!

Authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the grain market Environment: There are about 9 wooden tables and chairs inside and outside. Dishes: 1) Raw beef pho:: The soup base is sweet and authentic. The beef was tender, but not raw - 2) Curry Duck (No. 40): Top notch. The duck is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the rice is fragrant and the curry is delicious. 3) spring rool: cold. Packed with fresh vegetables, it's delicious. Service: Although the shop was full, there were only two waiters. But the service is quite efficient.

Good food, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere and friendly service. We'd love to come back :)

The food is ok. A lot of cheap filling material such as pasta and iceberg lettuce is used and very few herbs. This takes away the specialness of Vietnamese cuisine from the dishes. The service does its job. That's ok too. The atmosphere is cozy as long as you don't go past the drinks crate and the scullery to the toilet. You can eat there but there is still room for improvement.

Große Hühnersuppe mit Glasnudeln: Die Glasnudeln kamen in einer seltsamen grauen Farbe zu einem großen Klumpen zusammengeklebt in der Suppe, erkennbar alt und vor dem Servieren gefroren! Auf meine Reklamation hin wurde mir mitgeteilt, ich solle doch woanders essen oder, falls ich ein anderes Essen will, zweimal bezahlen!

Food was very good but unfriendly staff and i ordered a vegetarian dish and there were pieces of beef in the soup. i told staff and still had to pay full price…?

we ordered: beef pho soup, fried noodle, and ginger lemon drink. beef pho soup: 4/5 the soup was okay. although i think the experience could have been better by increasing the deepness and richness of the soup. the beef was thinly sliced which makes a good chewing experience. beef fried noodle: 4/5 PERFECT TASTE 5/5. just abit smaller portion. the price is a bit on the high price, but very understandable considering the prime location in the heart of tourist attraction. with such a high price, the portion is considerably abit less than we expected. but again, think about the prime location, i think thats the way they survive the business: small portion, high price, best location. when i say small, it is not like small small. it will still fill your tummy. it is just that not the usual portion i would usually have in my other vietnamese restaurants which usually provides huge portions. overall, give it a try!

36 has 2 yun tun (dumplings) filled with chicken and also prawns and meat with the noodles. Noodles are more like instant noodles ones 42 is chili and sour like Thai food, we recommend it Food was delivered fast!

Service is very bad, the waitress says pretty much nothing, even though she speaks perfect German and English. Very rude behavior. She doesn't open the bottle, just puts it on the table. The food was totally boring, it was at most a hint of Vietnamese. I have no idea how this got such a high rating. For example, summer rolls were the thinnest slice of meat in the world, almost no herbs, no carrot sticks, that was 95% rice noodles with iceberg lettuce. Main course then completely tasteless and ridiculously little meat, we left hungry.

The food is very tasty and the waiters are very nice. My personal favorite is Pho Bo, it is very pleasant to eat as it is nice and warm and tastes great. I can only recommend it.

Very nice little Vietnamese shop right next to the Vikualienmarkt - authentic, delicious cuisine at really reasonable prices. And half a non-alcoholic drink for €3.20 - that's something special in Munich

It was raining today and I was missing warm soup, so I ate Vietnamese rice noodles near the Viktualien market. The moment I took a spoonful of the soup, I felt an unusual taste, but when I added the rajo sauce on the table, I remembered it as one of the best rice noodles in Europe, or even one of the best rice noodles I have ever eaten. Best rice noodle soup in town! This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the whole Europe. Their beef broth is excellent. Definitely wish to visit again.

I ordered fried rice to take away for €9.90. The taste was great, but the portion itself was very small. About half of the aluminum packaging was filled. About 5 large tablespoons (for €9.90) is a bit small in my opinion I. Otherwise everything was great!

Wonderful little restaurant in Munich! Absolute recommendation, unbeatable value for money, great staff, super friendly, we love it here, there isn't much space but it's really worth the wait! I have absolutely nothing to complain about, the food is always very good with the same quality and I'm looking forward to being there again! A nice time!

The duck was excellent, the rice was prepared ok. The biggest flaw of the dish was the tomato sauce, which was disastrous.

The last night in Munich, we decided to find a Vietnamese Restaurant to try and we found this one on Yelp. It's quite a distance from our hotel to here, but we got to see many different shops along the way. This place is close to the outside farmers market like in Munich where many restaurants open in the day time. The place is small and very crowded, we had to wait for 20-30 minutes to get a table for 4. It's the first come first serve basis, no reservations that we know of. The tables are quite close to each others and the service is quite fast and attentive. The food was actually good. We all liked the appetizer the bo tai chanh (VN carpaccio like beef) and the chicken skewer with peanut sauce. I had the duck with sauce which was quite delicious, my wife had the beef with veggies that was quite tasty. My daughter ordered the bun bo hue which was a mistake, it didn't taste anything like VN bun bo hue any where. I think it's made for the local Germans tastes. Anyhow, it's a nice restaurant with nice decoration and the food is good and the prices are reasonable. We're glad we found this place in Munich.

Not bad. Good for a comfort meal. We enjoyed the Beef Pho and the Spring Rolls which were quite pricey. FYI the drip coffee is super slow. Service was good and quick but not much atmosphere.

We ordered two noodle soup starters (1&2) for 3,50€ each. These were super tasty with very flavourful broth and perfect for the warm summer day we had today. I had the duck with pepper sauce for 11,90€, these prices are (especially for Munich) extremely fair. The portion was quite big so I couldn't finish it all. Very tasty, pleasantly surprised by how good this place is, as it is close to touristy areas and I was worried it could've been a tourist trap. Outside area is lovely.

Was als Eiernudeln auf der Karte stand, stellte sich als Instannudeln heraus. Meine asiatische Begleitung war auch enttäuscht.

Surprisingly tasty at an affordable price. The place is unassuming but as soon as you go through the door you find yourself in a small place with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Wait time was short, as I was surprised to have my food waiting for me after washing my hands. I had the Mỳ Vịt quay Suppe (number 37) with a homemade lemonade. As soon as I tried the duck I raised my eyebrows to see all my expectations surpassed in one bite. I've had Vietnamese food before, tasty at that, but this was something else. Crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside - the meat was cooked perfectly. The selection of vegetables and the tasty soup made my stomach feel comfortable and quite happy throughout the whole meal. The lemonade was pretty tasty as well. To top it all off I had a Vietnamese coffee for the first time. For me it was a sort of dessert with coffee in it because it was so sweet and a wonderful experience at that. Have a chat while the coffee is brewing on the table and finish your meal with a tasty treat. Really good place.

Ein kleines feines vietnamesisches Lokal mit leckerer, gesunder Küche. Sitzplätze gibt es drinnen und draußen. Der Innenraum ist schön gestaltet mit stimmungsvollen großen Wandbildern, alles ist sauber und ordentlich, das Personal freundlich und flink. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und appetitlich angerichtet. Das Gericht Bun Ga war hervorragend. Preislich ok, beste Lage beim Viktualienmarkt.

Delizioso locale in pieno centro. Leggermente discostato dalle mete prettamente turistiche ma comodissimo da raggiungere a piedi dalla Cattedrale. Abbiamo provato due diverse zuppe una migliore dell’altra. Fresche. Speziate. Carne e pesce meravigliosi. Porzioni molto abbondanti! Il riso saltato con verdure e gamberoni sublime. Assolutamente da tornare! Accettano le carte.

Good service, but the food was nothing to write home about. It was busy on a Sunday at 4:30 so I can imagine it being even more so at meal hours.

I sadly don’t have photos of the food because I always get so excited when it comes that I just forget 😂 I’ve been to this place multiple times and it’s incredible. The staff is super friendly and the place feels very authentic and intimate. I can highly recommend any of the plates with the noodles and their homemade lemonade.

Die Stimmung is schön dort! Service war ok.. wenig gelächelt und bisschen kalt ! Die Portion des Essens ist riesig w der Teller sieht schön aus aber das Geschmack hat gefehlt. Ich hatte rotes Curry mit Ente. Das Fleisch war halt hart muss man relativ länger kauen und die Soße braucht noch Salz!

Das Essen ist lieblos dekoriert und lauwarm mit tk-Gemüse sehr flach und nicht knackig im Geschmack. Gebratener Reis als recht kleine Portion. Aber man sitzt draußen am Abend schön in der Sonne. In der Innenstadt gibt es leider wenig gute Asia Imbiss Küchen.
