Vietnam Pho Bistro in Leipzig

Wasn't bad, it tasted average...

OMG – what a hidden gem! The supermarket has a "hole in the woods" eatery with authentic dishes at more than fair prices. Like a little piece of Vietnam.

I went there several times with my Vietnamese girlfriend, and everything was easy. On my own (I'm half African), a waiter didn't want to serve me at all, and I was asked to pay immediately after the food was served. It ruined my appetite. Too bad, I liked the pho.

budget friendly for the location. sometimes a bit over salted.

Outstanding store!! What at first glance doesn't look like a place for Vietnamese cuisine suddenly turns out to be a really great snack bar that offers meals with incredible taste and variety. You just shouldn't be bothered by the fact that the dining room is in the back of an Asian supermarket and therefore doesn't have any classic Asian restaurant feeling or anything like that. Ultimately, that's not what matters to me. The food counts and that's awesome here! An absolute must when I'm in Leipzig. See you soon!

The takeaway food was delicious and the staff was very friendly!

Wir waren zu Dritt hier. Man wurde platziert, da es recht voll war. Die Speisekarten erhielten wir recht schnell, bestellen dauerte etwas. Getränke und die Vorspeisen kamen fast zeitgleich. Suppe (€ 6.50) und die Frühlingsrolle (€ 7,50) waren sehr würzig und Schmackhaft. Ebenso die Hauptgänge, wobei die meisten im Bereich um die € 14 - 20 lagen. Alles sehr schmackhaft und lecker. Weizenbier 0,5l € 5,40. Service konnte etwas organisierter sein, da jeder alles macht. Beim warten auf einen Platz wurden wir mehrere Male von verschiedenen Bedienungen danach gefragt, wie viele wir seien. Das zog sich durch.

It's okay, the price/performance ratio is good but that's it

Gostei muito do ambiente e da comida. Fiquei surepreendida como os pratos vieram grandes e deliciosos. Tudo que pedimos estava gostoso e fresco.

Das Ambiente ist einfach (mehr Imbiss als Restaurant), der Service zum Teil unbeholfen. Der Hauptgang wurde sehr bald nach der Bestellung serviert, dabei wurde die Vorspeise vergessen. Die Getränke waren in Ordnung, das Essen schmeckte korrekt, war aber nicht herausragend. Nachdem der Kellner alles abgeräumt hatte, wollten wir zahlen, er kam aber nicht wieder. Wir saßen 20 min an einem abgeräumten Tisch, wurden auch nicht gefragt, ob wir noch etwas wollen, dabei war das Restaurant fast leer. Der Preis, den wir zahlten, passte leider nicht zu dem Essen und erst recht nicht zum Service.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, sehr aufmerksamer Service und leckeres Essen. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal hier - bisher immer TOP - deshalb 5 Sterne.

Was in Leipzig with a friend as tourists, highly recommended.

We had several Vietnamese dishes, cold and warm soup. Taste was there and portions were big enough. Tasty lemonades but with lots of sugar.

Bon accueil. Toutefois, le service est un peu lent car pas beaucoup de personnel. La salle à manger est très propre et bien agencée. Les nems sont délicieux et le Phô est exquis et fait comme là-bas. Un vrai bonheur ! Bravo pour ce petit restaurant familiale. Je recommande sans hésiter, allez-y les yeux fermés !

I had dinner this evening. dishes are good and tasty. service is lacking. I had huge communication issues; I have very very poor german so I used english. After a first course,I was willing to order a second course. I made the order to a your woman waiter talking in english and showing my choiche in the menu. after more than half an hour I start asking news on my order. Nobody was able to understand my in english, so I took my smartphone and I started typing message as 'any news of my order dish 31? is it ongoing? and having it translated into german. nobody seemed understand such medsage. So I switched to translation in vietnameese with even worst result. Finally my wife was able to communicate with a very 'calm' english. they did not get my order... so we paid and left the restaurant.

Apparently the food was bad, because as soon as it was at our table, a large crowd came along with it. And instead of an apology or something similar, all that came was excuses. Hopefully nothing worse happens

Rotten food and flies everywhere. As a precaution, I didn't eat the food, which was constantly followed by flies, but of course I still had to pay... There should probably be a hygiene check there.

Fried noodles with vegetables and chicken are available for €5. Rather in the upper price segment for Leipzig, but also a large portion and good quality. A little more soy sauce would have been very okay, but that's a matter of taste.

Haben 3 Gerichte und 2 Wasser bestellt, scheint anscheinend eine schwere Aufgabe gewesen zu sein sich das in dem Kopf zu behalten. Wir haben nach 30 Minuten und durch dreimaligen Nachfragen kein Essen oder Getränke erhalten. Service geht anders. Nicht zu empfehlen!

Lecker essen, Ambiente ist OK, aber durch den Laden im Vorderen Teil etwas komisch. Schmeckt aber richtig gut und der Preis ist echt super.

Leistung sehr gut - Preis fast unschlagbar Haben Pho und gebratene Nudeln gegessen, beim nächsten mal in Leipzig werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder kommen!

Wer gerne Pho isst, isst hier eine der leckersten. Beim Betreten des Restaurant gelangt man zuerst in einen kleinen Supermarkt. Wenn man direkt gerade durch nach hinten geht kommt man in den Restaurantbereich. Wenn ich Leipzig besuche komme ich immer hier her. Die Preise sind für mein Empfinden mit 6€ für eine Pho okay.
