Das All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet ist ziemlich übersichtlich und wenn man andere Buffets gewöhnt ist recht klein.

Ein wahnsinnig freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Sommerrollen sind echt unterirdisch schlecht gewesen. Noch nie solche langweiligen Dinger gegessen. Kartenzahlung erst ab 20 €. sehr kundenunfreundlich in 2026 und der Service extrem langsam zur Mittagszeit an einem Samstag, obwohl wir quasi die einzigen waren. So wird das nichts ... 😅

Ich kann das Essen nicht beurteilen, aber meine Tochter und ich sind eine Stunde gefahren, um dort zu Abend zu essen. Wir kamen gegen 21:15 Uhr an. Die Kellnerin wies uns einen Platz zu und gab uns die Speisekarte, deren Übersetzung wir 15 Minuten brauchten, um uns zu entscheiden. Dann teilte uns ein Herr leider mit, dass an diesem Abend nur Getränke, aber keine Speisen serviert würden. Da das Restaurant 15 Gehminuten von der nächsten Haltestelle mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ins Stadtzentrum entfernt liegt, war es zu spät, dort noch zu essen. Es wäre hilfreich, diese Information auch bei Google zu finden, da wir Ihre Seite vor unserem Besuch konsultiert hatten. Das ist nicht sehr professionell.

Habe noch nie so schlecht gegessen. Das Essen war kaum gewürzt.

Wir wollten gerne zum „All you can eat“, doch nachdem wir am Tisch saßen, sagte man uns, dass es das heute nicht gibt. Wir bekamen mit wie andere Gäste falsche Bestellungen erhalten haben. Zum bezahlen mussten wir selbst auf das Personal zu gehen und wurden nicht am Platz bedient. Die Atmosphäre war sehr ruhig und wirkte auf uns etwas unangenehm. Das Essen schmeckte letztendlich auch nur mittelmäßig.

Sie arbeiten an der Fassadenkonstruktion. Drinnen ist es dunkel, und man sieht Wollreste auf dem Gerüst verstreut. Nicht sehr gemütlich. Von außen ist es vielleicht besser, da alles abgedeckt ist.

Eins unserer Lieblingsrestaurants in Leipzig... Draußen sitzen toll, drinnen auch. Essen super.

Wie waren hier bereits schon mehrfach essen und ich muss immer wieder sagen, dass alles perfekt ist! Die Auswahl der Speisen+Getränke, die Qualität, die Location, Service… einfach super! Die Mangosoße ist mit Abstand die beste Soße die ich jemals gegessen habe! Eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir kommen bald wieder!

Es war unterirdisch, absolut unprofessionell. Der Hund (klein) durfte nicht mit rein. Wir wurden regelrecht rausgeschmissen, obwohl im Restaurant nur 2 Leute waren. So etwas habe ich in Leipzig noch nie erlebt. Schade, wir kommen nie wieder!

Ich bin entsetzt, wir wurden rausgeschickt als meine Freundin mit ihrem kleinen Hund ins Restaurant kam. Das Restaurant war leer, keiner der Angst haben konnte. Ich selbst war schon mit Hund vor Ort. Nicht zu empfehlen, das sowas heute noch notwendig ist. Schade, wir kommen nie wieder.

Es wirkte auf mich lustlos und gleichgültig. Die Angestellten unterhielten sich lautstark hinter der Theke und brachten mir den Nachtisch, während ich noch aß. Der Kellner war allerdings nett. Ich verstehe den ganzen Hype um dieses Restaurant nicht. Ich hatte den Eindruck, der Besitzer sei nicht da, weil sich sonst niemand darum zu kümmern schien. Es waren kaum Gäste da, also gab es auch keine Ausreden. Ich habe das auch in anderen Bewertungen gelesen und kann es nachvollziehen. Das Essen war okay. Aber ein bisschen mehr Mühe hätte man sich schon geben können.

Wir gehen seit Jahren dort essen und waren immer zufrieden. Leider können wir das von unserem gestrigen Besuch nicht behaupten. Nachdem wir satt waren, wollten wir uns den Rest einpacken lassen. Die Bedienung sagte genervt und unfreundlich, dass das nicht möglich sei und das so auch in der Karte stehen würde. Die Mittagsgerichte seien günstiger und deswegen dürfte man nichts mitnehmen. Er bot uns an, den vollen Preis zu zahlen, dann könnten wir die Reste mitnehmen. Was ist das bitte für eine Argumentation? Absolut unverständlich.

Tolles Ambiente, super freundliche Bedienung und leckeres Essen. Ich hatte die Ente mit Süßkartoffeln und diese war perfekt gegart. Einzig die Haut könnte man etwas knuspriger machen. Ansonsten war alles stimmig und die Soße dazu auch köstlich. Auch der Rotwein ist zu empfehlen. Klare Empfehlung!

Absolutes banger Restaurant! Mein Mann und ich kommen öfter mal nach Leipzig und kommen jedes mal gerne hier hin! Nettes Personal und super Essen.

Wir hatten eine Reservierung per Whatsapp geschickt worin geschrieben wurde, dass wir mut Hund kommen würden. Wir hatten es an dem Tag nochmal telefonisch angemerkt, da wir etwas später kommen würden. Eine Freundin von uns war früher da und bat, dass man uns bitte umsetzt, damit der Hund für die Servicemitarbeiter nicht im Weg liegt. Als wir ankamen hat man uns gesagt Hunde sind nicht erlaubt, obwohl uns ein Mitarbeiter wegen des Hundes extra um platzierte. Man habe es wohl am Telefon nicht verstanden. Am Telefon, per Whatsapp und Vorort nicht verstanden? Wir haben kein Problem damit, wenn man es gleich am Anfang kommuniziert, da es okey ist, dass Hunde nicht überall erlaubt sind aber erst Vorort ein Nein zu erhalten trotz 3 Kommunikationswegen ist schon sehr traurig dabei hatte das Viet Village immer einen guten Ruf gehabt. Wieso Whatsapp anbieten wenn man es nicht beachtet? Eine Entschuldigung gab es auch nicht.

Haben mehrfach bei der Reservierung und auch vor Ort gefragt, ob man mit einem Hund vorbeikommen kann. Es wurde mehrmals bejaht und als man dann mit Hund dort ankam, wurde erst gesagt, dass Hunde verboten sind. Warum wird uns 3x bestätigt, dass man einen Hund mitnehmen darf, wenn das nicht der Fall ist?

Unbedingt mal essen gehen! In einer sehr schönen Gegend ein super Lokal zum Essen und entspannen. Nur wenn es voll ist, kann es mal lauer werden.

Alles in allem eine runde Sache mit leckerem Vietnamesischem Essen. Einzig die Sitzbank war sehr unbequem.

Wir waren als Gruppe zum Essen vor einem Konzert. Ambiente ist für mich nicht sehr einladend. Wir saßen an langen Bänken jeweils 8-10 Personen auf einer Seite... wenn da einer aufstehen wollte, ist das essen kalt, bis er wieder sitzt. Es ist nicht in Ordnung, das bei einem schon lange bestellten Tisch nichts, wirklich nichts eingedeckt war, wir baten noch um Besteck, Servietten und Gewürze zum nachwürzen. Die Speisen/Getränke wurden auch nicht zusammen aufgetischt, daß die Gruppe gemeinsam trinken/essen konnte. Mein Essen war in Ordnung, ich hatte gebackene Frühlingsrollen zur Vorspeise & Sushi Spezial Rolls. Die hausgemachte Limonade war schmackhaft, etwas viel Minze... ein paar Blätter sind genug😉. Auf die Schnelle zum essen würde ich das Redtaurant empfehlen, für einen besonderen Anlass leider nicht.

Jedes Mal, wenn wir in Leipzig sind, besuchen wir dieses Restaurant. Das Essen ist einfach hervorragend.

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert, moderate Preise, leckeres und schnelles Essen, gute Kellner und immer einen Tisch verfügbar. Für mich absolute Go to in Leipzig. Ich empfehle die 42 Chicken Curry.

Wer auf der Suche nach richtig gutem vietnamesischem Essen + Ambiente ist, ist hier definitiv an der richtigen Adresse. Die Portionen sind riesig und die Auswahl kann sich echt sehen lassen. Von Glasnudelsalaten über Suppen bis hin zu Currys ist alles dabei (Vegetarisch natürlich auch!). Sogar eine Art Sushi-Sandwich steht zur Auswahl. Und wer hier keine Lust auf Wasser hat, kann sich über frische, selbst kreierte Limonaden freuen. Rundum ein Ort, an den man gerne wiederkommt, vor allem für einen angenehmen Abend unter Freunden oder für Studenten nach einem anstrengenden Tag in der Albertina Bibliothek.

Delicious Vietnamese cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere with friendly service. We especially enjoyed the fruit served with the bill – it was something quite different.

Given how busy the restaurant is, I was expecting something special. It's actually good, but not exceptional. The beef in my earthenware pot was quite tough and not particularly high quality. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the ambiance is charming and authentic. However, the seating is cramped, and it can get very noisy when it's full.

We arrived here for lunch after a stroll and found a free seat right away. Even though it was already quite busy with other diners. Our order was taken quickly. Unfortunately, we found the chicken skewer appetizer small.

The food and drinks are good. Unfortunately, some of the conditions are now unbearable, even visually. They look as if they don't even want you as a guest. Every request, or if you take an extra minute, you're met with a death stare.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of room, and we got the menu quickly. The selection was definitely good, and the food was delicious. The highlight, however, was the homemade lemonade.

I was at Viet Village recently and thought to myself, "Today I'm going to treat myself to a bit of a vacation on my plate." So I ordered the Pho Xoa—fried noodles so good I briefly thought I'd landed a ticket to culinary nirvana. The noodles were perfectly fried: slightly crispy on the outside, wonderfully soft on the inside, as if they'd completed a secret Vietnamese fitness program. They were accompanied by crunchy vegetables, tender meat, and a sauce that was probably somewhere between "wow" and "omg." The service? Friendly, quick, and served with a smile that would melt even the biggest lump of rice noodles. I seriously considered proposing to the chef during the meal, but decided against it out of politeness. So if you're looking for fried noodles that make you feel like you're sitting under palm trees in Saigon, head to Viet Village! I'll definitely be back—next time I'll probably order two portions. I ordered Bun Nem Chay (vegan): fried spring rolls with rice noodles and salad. The flavor was mediocre to bland, and the salad was limited to two sliced ​​cucumber slices and a shredded leaf of iceberg lettuce. The rest was an endless supply of noodles that were still a bit too hard, with a huge dead fly floating between them. And apparently, there's a shortage of soy sauce. I had to get it myself, and some time later, it was taken away and brought to another table.

We were with friends and the very rude waitress told us to get up and get the menus from another table. The food is of poor quality, and everything tastes the same. The menu seems varied but it isn't, in the end it's always those five ingredients.

Always fresh and beautifully presented. There's a wide selection, and you never have to wait long. We went there once with our parents, who don't normally like Asian food, and they've been raving about it ever since when they visit us in Leipzig.

It was my first time there and I thought it was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful/quick. Reservations would have been advisable, as it got really busy later in the evening and there was a lot of coming and going. The menu is very varied and the prices are surprisingly reasonable these days, unlike other restaurants, which isn't something I'm used to. The food was very tasty. The dessert of mango lassi and mango ice cream was amazing. Simple but delicious. Surprisingly, they even had parking nearby, considering it's in the middle of the music district. So all in all, a lovely evening; I'd happily go back. Went there again today for lunch with the lunch menu and enjoyed sitting outside. The food was still excellent. Always good.

It was really good again. The meat-based dishes were delicious, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was pleasant! I've always had a good evening there. When I once lost a scarf, I was able to quickly sort it out over the phone and pick it up the next day :) (I'm also writing this review because I can't understand why someone would rate the place 1 star just because they don't allow dogs (which is a good thing!) – and thus lower everyone's overall rating.)

I went there for lunch with my sisters today for the first time. I really like the atmosphere. Luckily, we were even able to get a table by the window. We had made a reservation, although it was a Sunday and the crowds were still quite manageable, so the atmosphere was very pleasant, as was the parking situation (we were able to park practically right in front of the entrance). The food was absolutely fantastic! I was impressed not only by the main courses but also by the desserts. I had the "Pho Tron Curry" first, followed by the "Kem Xoai." I'm looking forward to the next time! ☺️ PS: Card payments are accepted for a minimum of €20.

Aufräumen, etc. ist halt wichtiger! Nachdem wir dann bestellen durften, kamen die Getränke, Vorspeisen und dann der Hauptgang durch andere Mitarbeiter sehr schnell. Diese waren auch freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider kam nach dem Hauptgang wieder lange nichts. Erst auf Handzeichen zu den sitzenden Mitarbeitern konnten wir mitteilen, dass wir zahlen wollten. Servicetechnisch, werden wir wohl nicht mehr wieder kommen!

Unfortunately the quality of the food has significantly declined recently. Having eaten here over 20 times over several years I typically get the 43B, with a smooth semi-sweet red curry sauce. Recently the sauce is basically just coconut milk with red oil floating on top and lacks flavor. The meat quality has also declined, with the beef being very fatty and overly chewy. On the most recent visit, we attempted to sit outside on a gorgeous spring day only to be told we wouldn’t be served outside because only three servers were working. The restaurant inside was almost empty, leading me to believe othered have noticed the decline in quality too. There are numerous Vietnamese restaurants in Leipzig and unfortunately I’ll need to start exploring others as Viet Village has disappointed me too much recently.

I've come here occasionally in the past and always had the baked chicken curry. Recently, however, the quality of the meat has varied. While there used to always be meat in picture 1, the quality of the meat just drops in picture 2. Very unfortunate.

Nr 32 Knusprige Ente. Hatte es abgeholt. Die Überraschung beim Öffnen war erschreckend. Das Gemüse in der Sosse erträgt und sonst geschmacksfrei. Die Ente geschmacklos und die Haut weich und fett. Und das für 19,90 EUR pro Portion. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Nur Fertigküche. Da ist jedes Fastfood besser.

Food is very good, service unfortunately not particularly friendly and after the food was there we didn't get a drink (we sat for 1.5 hours with empty glasses, the restaurant was almost empty).

Ate there for business lunch. Nice staff and extensive menu. My crispy duck curry was clearly delicious, but the curry sauce seemed very watery to me. As if the cook had stretched them. It's a real shame, but all in all recommended!
