Very good food and friendly staff. It's a little more expensive now, but it's definitely worth it!

I had Thai curry with 🍚... unfortunately very disappointing, no fresh vegetables, just canned beans, no onions and mushrooms... sauce watery and bland... staff unfriendly... what a shame!

At Vegan Express it always tastes great. The staff is friendly and the service is usually quite quick. This restaurant is always recommended, especially for vegans.

Underground! The food was by far the worst Asian food I have ever eaten. Unseasoned, the peanut sauce was terrible and had nothing to do with peanuts, flat rice noodles weren't the original length, there weren't enough vegetables and they were completely greasy. Very carelessly prepared and simply disgusting in taste. €20 for these two dishes is presumptuous. Take a look at shops like mom's or 1990 Vegan living in Berlin - these shops know how to prepare vegan, Asian food.

Sesame tofu and great value for money 💯 Staff super friendly

Unfortunately not as good as it used to be.

Unfortunately it's no longer worth it. No more really classic Asian recipes, just typical Euro food. Simply very briefly fried individual ingredients, hardly seasoned or with watery ready-made sauces.

That was such an amazing food stop in this little town, lady that served us was nice and pleasant, we had amazing viatnemese food all vegan and I will never forgat vegan shrimp! Must stop to inspire your tastebuds and fill up with great food from soup to dessert. Viatnemese coffe was quiet an experience! Clean, freesh and tasty could not recomend it more!

Best go-to vegan vietnamese food you could imagine! Cheap but fresh, with a possibility to sit inside or outside. Had a phô with vegan chicken which tasted very realistic and was full of fresh vitamins.

Simply delicious and great value for money! We love the vegan food and the friendly staff.

Nice people but above all delicious food

There is very good sesame tofu and vegan duck here, which I can recommend to everyone. Other vegan alternatives are also on offer here - unfortunately many of the dishes are similar or the same. The service is great and very nice. The ambience is quite dark and located on the street. Nevertheless, I would recommend the restaurant to vegans.

Very friendly and welcoming staff but the red curry was watery and flavorless (not spicy at all, even though we asked for that) and the stir fry was outrageously oily.

Now completely vegan. Excellent! So far the food has been delicious, strongly seasoned and full-bodied. I enjoyed being here often. Unfortunately, the food has declined significantly over the last year. First the portions became smaller (smaller bowl). After that, prices rose sharply. During my visit yesterday I had the mild curry with duck. Unfortunately hardly any taste. The duck feels like a lump of seitan and the curry had no seasoning at all (not just no heat). Unfortunately I can no longer recommend Vegan Express. A pity!

great selection, everything very tasty

Somewhat not what we expected (and remembered from a visit last year). Firstly, it isnt fully vegan (crab crackers and honey.. not sure if there is anything else). The menu is extensive and sounds awesome though. However, what we had was awful. Not sure if they hired a new chef, had a bad day or ... but the peanut sauce had absolutely no flavour (nowhere remotely near anything like peanuts) and the red curry was nothing like red curries you get anywhere, not red, not spicy, ... both just weird watered down stuff. (Almost like from powder or just watered down left overs!?) The veggies in the dishes had maybe 1 sec in the wok and were almost raw (not awesome eating mushrooms and aubergine) . So overall, Do Not Recommend. And very confused as to why it was that bad.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. Food is becoming more and more expensive, but the quality is getting worse. Plus I really get the wrong dish every time.

Very nice Vegan Restaurant with a lot of Chinese options... Tried tofu Nudeln, it was nice. Spicy chutney that they have was also nice.

Hat über die Zeit ziemlich abgebaut. Geschmacklich unspektakulär, ohne viel Hingabe zubereitet und angerichtet. Cash Only ist absolut unzeitgemäß...gehe hier nicht mehr hin.

Das Essen hat mich nicht umgehauen. Habe schon weitaus bessere Mangosoßen beim Viet gegessen. Und der Reis war etwas fad. Die Bedienung war aber sehr freundlich und man sitzt eben an der Straße und kann die vorbei gehenden Menschen beobachten inkl. Straßenlärm. Muss man mögen.

Überzeugt selbst mich als Fleischesserin

Ottimo ristorante vegano, buon seitan, buon tofu, ottime le verdure, croccanti, fresche e ben cucinate. Personale gentile. Pagamento ONLY CASH. Speciale la finta anatra croccante, miglior seitan assaggiato in questo posto.

Super delicious, fresh, tasty and affordable vegan asian food - cash only. It’s casual and you can sit inside or outside on tables out front of the restaurant. Food came out quickly and the man working the front and bringing food out was very nice. We had the sesame tofu and the pho. Highly recommend! BUT If you have food left over that you want to take home they do charge you .50 euro for a small container which is the only reason I haven’t rated service higher as he didn’t offer to give me a way to pack the sauce and I’m not used to paying for to go containers..but at least the food is tasty, affordable, healthy and comes out quickly so I will be back and recommend.

Me and my partner are totally addicted to this lovely, welcoming, and absolutely fantastic, cozy place where people can enjoy a delicious meal. Cash only, orders at the desk, very fast in serving, and the people who run the place are very nice. I highly recommend it. 🥰

Das Essen ist halt Imbiss und wenn man etwas Zeit aufwendet kann man alles lecker selbst kochen. Doch wer schnell was braucht um den Hunger zu stillen ist es gut.

Es mutet nicht nach dem an, was einen kulinarisch erwartet. Etwas versteckt, lässt das Vegan Express etwas am Ambiente zu wünschen übrig. Aber das Essen überzeugt allemal.

Sehr leckeres Essen, kurze Wartezeit, angenehme Preise. Nettes Personal. Ich esse da immer wieder gern und konnte auch Freunde die sonst lieber Fleisch essen begeistern. Zur Location: Straßenbahnen fahren alle paar Minuten vorbei und drinnen ist nicht soo viel Platz. Trotzdem, wenn ihr einfach nur gut und preiswert essen wollt, sehr zu empfehlen. Wer unbedingt in einem super schicken Restaurant den Abend verbringen will, muss wo anders schauen.

This is one of the best vegan places I've ever been to! The food is super delicious and the prices are fair. I definitely recommend coming here even though the restaurant is located a little futher from the city center.
