A Vietnamese restaurant that I can recommend to everyone: high-quality cuisine, fresh ingredients, top taste and appearance! Unbeatable price-performance ratio! The lunch dishes, which you have to pick up yourself, are also highly recommended; there is no delivery service.

The Viet Village in Bad Sodan is an excellent dining restaurant. I was in this restaurant twice. Both times the food was excellent. There are also Chinese dishes, but the Vietnamese specialties are much more recommended. These are rich, fresh and completely well prepared. This restaurant gets a big recommendation from me!

Visit for lunch. Vietnamese cuisine. Tasty, fresh preparation. Price reasonable. Kindness good! It was paid in cash, so unfortunately I can't say whether credit cards are also accepted. Clean toilets in the basement of the neighboring house, accessible from here. Lots of village. It is advisable to reserve.

The food is tasty and good. Unfortunately, the option to pay by card is always handled differently. Sometimes it is possible, sometimes not, depending on the person involved. Regardless of whether you eat on site or want to take the food with you. But I have also heard this answer. Depending on who is currently working in the service, it is sometimes possible to get a special request (leave something out or change it slightly) and sometimes not. Since it is regularly the same special request, I asked for it to be included in the menu (as a test?). That too was rejected. Perhaps the too much flexibility in card payments could be shifted towards more flexibility in responding to customer requests? Would be great...

A cool place with Asian Cousine. They have a good selection of dishes and the portions are quite big. The food comes out fast and also looks very nice. I can recommend the spring rolls, summer rolls were a bit loose, but tasty. Curries are huge with good variety of veggies in it and also lots of meat and you can take the leftovers home.

Unfortunately the portions are very small. Apparently 2 halved spring rolls make a complete portion. Noodle soup was good but nothing special and not cheap either. Definitely don't have to go here again. The restaurant itself is beautifully done and the service is nice.

The food is very tasty and tasty and looks great. The vegetables are fresh and crunchy. We just found that it wasn't comfortable to sit on. Everything went very quickly and it was too hectic for us. We had reserved for 6 p.m. and the four courses including drinks were ready at 7 p.m.

We were always regular guests even with the previous owner. Unfortunately, it is becoming more and more unfriendly and the prices are becoming more and more expensive. Even for things you didn't pay for, money was charged and by different waiters for different prices. They probably don't value repeat customers and satisfaction. Went there again and again because we liked the food. But we're not coming anymore.

We've been here twice and I'm really impressed, it sometimes takes a while but the sushi is really excellent! There are many sushi shops, but once you've been to Japan you'll get a good feel for whether you're being served good sushi! Fresh and quality ingredients that are really flavorful, a good rice that is cooked and seasoned to perfection! The ratio is simply right here. Thank you very much, we would be happy to come back at any time!

One of the best restaurants in a long time. The people in the kitchen are obviously professionals. There is no limp Asian porridge with the ready-made sauce from the Asian supermarket here. Everything is freshly prepared and the staff is super nice. A real highlight of the area's gastronomy. Any time! Thanks!

We were regulars and always went there with family and friends despite the unfriendly staff because we liked the food. Unfortunately, on the last visit the bow was overstretched. The order was misunderstood and blamed on my companion in a completely rude, unreasonable and loud manner at the table.

This nice little restaurant is located in the middle of Bad Soden's old town. The food is delicious, the service is quick and friendly. We'd love to come back!

Great location in a nice little town. The food was very good and you could tell it was fresh. What I didn't like was that the staff left a slightly annoyed impression. I know that gastronomy is not easy and there are stressful days. But the guest remains a customer and then goes home with this impression, which is not so nice.

Wer jemals in Vietnam eine klassische Pho (Reisnudelsuppe) gegessen hat und sich vielleicht freut, derartiges ob der vollmundigen Beschreibung in der Speisekarte hier zu finden, wird bitter enttäuscht. Zwar war das Personal entgegen anderslautenden Bewertungen sehr nett aber das, was da an "vietnamesischem Essen" aufgetragen wird, ist das Geld nicht wert. Man hätte schon misstrauisch werden sollen: ein vietnamesisches Restaurant dessen Speisekarte zu 75% aus japanischen Sushi-Gerichten besteht ??? Komisch ! Zur Pho (Hauptgericht): stark verdünnte Brühe, Reisnudeln und ein paar Frühlingswzwiebeln - das war's. Den Kellner darauf angesprochen ob denn in der Küche wirklich ein vietnamesischer Koch steht behauptete, alle anderen in der Karte angegebenen Zutaten "befänden sich in der Brühe" ( wären also ausgekocht) und quasi als Geschmaksessenz in der Suppe enthalten.... Mein Tip: in Frankfurt gibt es einschlägige asiatische Supermärkte die fertig gewürzte Pho-Brühwürfel vertreiben. Die schmecken nach 100 mal mehr als die Wasserbrühe in diesem Restaurant. In Vietnam bekommt das jeder Strassenverkäufer besser hin. Vielleicht mal einen davon einladen und sich in vietnamesischer Küche beraten lassen :-) Die Sushi hingegen sahen optisch gut aus. Sind ja auch das wesentliche aus Vietnam.

Ein Vietnamesisches Restaurant, das ich allen empfehlen kann: hochwertige Küche, frische Zutaten, geschmacklich wie optisch Top! Unschagbares Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Sehr zu empfehlen sind auch die Mittagsgerichte, die man selbst abholen muss, es gibt kein Lieferservice. Sehr freundliches und kulantes Personal, meine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

In addition to Vietnamese dishes, the menu also offers Japanese dishes. The Soeisek are beautifully decorated and offer an opulent aesthetic. Summer roll with spicy peanut sauce was fine. Also the Ne. 60 fried vegetables with rice and tofu. YOU can sit nicely on wooden benches in the old town.

Had a lovely meal here! I came on my own (new to the area) and enjoyed my dinner here. I only speak English and they were very patient with me as I ordered. The food was excellent! I had a tuna tempura roll and a chidori roll. Both were absolutely delicious and I left very full! I will certainly return to try more.

Das Essen schmeckt! Leider ist die Bedienung, insbesondere die Dame sehr unfreundlich und auch nicht flexibel. Ich kann dem Vorredner zustimmen, mal kann man mit Karte zahlen, dann wieder nicht.

Great experience. Good food, good ambience and wonderful staff. They also spoke English which made my order easier. I haved my baby with me and they placed us nicely in one corner not to bother anyone but still enjoy our food. Definitely coming back.

Food was very tasty, service was nice. The only thing that bothered me was that you can only pay by card if you spend more than €25. You have to do that first during your lunch break.

Very good Vietnamese restaurant. The menu is clear, not that big, but what comes is very tasty. Food prices are average, beer prices are a bit higher (0.5 beer/wheat beer 5.40 euros). The location is great, it's cozy, if you like this type of food, this is the place for you. Tip, try the Vietnamese coffee (see picture).

Once and not again!!!!! I have never experienced such unfriendly service. Standing in the entrance to get a table. Waiter stands in front of me and just stares at me. I said good evening THREE times. Without any reaction. I asked if it wasn't customary to say hello here. Then there was only a brief greeting. We were hungry otherwise we would have left immediately. Unfriendliness continued throughout. We weren't even said goodbye as we left. Well noticed... there were hardly any guests in the restaurant!!! We ate and made sure we got out again. Doesn't friendly interaction belong in a restaurant??? This place is far away!!

The food is really tasty but it's so annoying how unfriendly the staff treats you. As if you were a burden and not a guest. Then you can sometimes pay with a card and then again only in cash. This changes depending on your mood and you are cheekily asked to go to the bank even though it is not your house bank and you pay €5 in fees for a €30 bill. No smile, nothing! I think it's really a shame!

Everyone else at my table was happy, but I found it to be rather (below) average. The beef with rice noodles was served on a plate with a green salad - not my thing. I also think there is room for improvement when it comes to the ambience, but the Viet Village is still always well attended.

Hinzukommt eine von Woche zu Woche wechselnde Regel, wann mit Karte gezahlt werden darf: Mal geht nur Bargeld, dann wieder Karten, dann gab es einen Mindestumsatz von 25€ für Kartenzahlung, als wir heute 45€ mit Karte zahlen wollten wurde aber wieder ausschließlich auf Bargeld bestanden. Wem Service wichtig ist, der sollte vorsichtig sein da das Risiko groß ist, sich hier zu ärgern.

Ich tue mich eigentlich schwer mit schlechten Bewertungen. Aber das hier muss wirklich sein. Im Essbereich hängen Spinnenweben, die Besitzer haben sich 15 min lautstark hinter uns gestritten und der Kellner hat das Wasser verschüttet , ohne es weg zu machen. Ich frage extra ob das Hähnchen nicht frittiert ist - dies wurde bestätig. Es war aber frittiert , sodass es knusprig war ! Der Kellner sagte „das muss so sein“… Also absolut nicht empfehlenswert…

Essen war vor von der Qualität und vom Preis her sehr gut. Freundliches Servicepersonal. Hund durfte auch mit. Einzig die Bänke sind etwas hart und haben wenig Polster.

Stop by for soup and tea. Enjoyed the wan tan soup and tofu soup a lot. Rather authentic. A pity that Vietnamese coffee was sold out. Would definitely love to visit it again to try the food.

Leckeres Essen in schönen Ambiente mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Während der Mittagszeit ist selbst bei vollem Restaurant die Wartezeit immer recht kurz.

Phenomenal food, authentic Asian food - amazing!

Hier gibt es die leckersten Wan Tan, die wir je gegessen haben! Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und dekorativ angerichtet. Die eigenen Tees sind erfrischend und wohlschmeckend und nicht so süß, genau richtig. Der Service ist gut und schnell. Keine langen Wartezeiten, auch wenn das Lokal voll ist. Top organisiert. Kinderstuhl vorhanden. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir waren zur Mittagszeit hier essen und sind sehr zufrieden gewesen. Hatten als Vorspeise die Sommerrolle getestet, die sehr sehr gut war und die dazu gereichte Soße war mega lecker. Als Hauptgang hatten wir ein Gericht von der Mittagskarte bestellt und zwar das rote Curry mit Tofu. Die Portionen war sehr gross und sehr lecker. Preis top für solche eine Portion gerade mal 8.50 Eur. Service war freundlich. Ambiente alles etwas in dunklem Holz gehalten aber trotzdem gemütlich. Kindermenü ist vorhanden.

Ich mag den Laden - salopp formuliert. Als nicht in Deutschland Lebender freue ich mich jedes Mal, wenn ich in Bad Soden bin auf einen Besuch dort. Die Art, wie das Essen angerichtet ist, macht Spaß, dekorativ präsentiert - zumindest das, was ich bestellte in der Vergangenheit. Geschmacklich gibt es mal gerade nichts auszusetzen, aber Geschmäcker sind verschieden... Fazit: Ich bin gerne dort, genieße das Essen und die sehr ruhige Atmosphäre. Ach, was ich vermisse, ist ein etwas kräftigerer Weißwein. Man kann nicht alles haben.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen da. Aus einer vielfältigen Mittagskarte suchten wir zwei Gerichte aus und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Lokal gemütlich ohne Schnickschnack, die Bedienung freundlich. Die Preise passen auch. Was will man mehr.

Das Essen ist ok, aber warum kann man nicht, wie früher, mit Karte bezahlen und auch unaufgefordert eine Quittung bekommen?!?

Tolles gemütliches vietnamesisches Restaurant, welches auch eine große Auswahl an Sushi bietet. Wer möchte kann auch draußen in der Sonne sitzen und sein Essen genießen. Angebot bei Speisen und Getränken reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen und nach kurzer Zeit frisch zubereitet serviert. Es schmeckte hervorragend und wir haben Nichts auf den Tellern übrig gelassen. Nur ein bisschen wenig Reis für so viel leckere Soße.

Essen mit ausschließlich guten und frischen Zutaten. Die Speisen sind geschmacklich sehr gut und sehen auch optisch gut aus. Sushi ist auch sehr gut. Einziger Punktabzug aufgrund der ausschließlich Barzahlung.

Essen wirklich sehr gut, aber der Zustand der Toiletten ergibt mindestens einen Stern Abzug. Schade!

Sehr leckeres Essen, hübsch angerichtet, freundlicher Service. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es wegen der extrem maroden Toilette mit Schwarzschimmel, fehlender Klobrille und losen Fliesen.

3,50€ für 0,25L Wasser, 6,70 für eine hausgemachte Limonade, 4,80 für eine große Cola, dazu klebrige Tische und absolute Mondpreise für kleine Portionen, absolut unauthentisch waren. Frechheit.

Ganz schlechter Service. Super unfreundliches Personal. Tische total verklebt und schmutzig. Anscheinend haben sie es nicht nötig... Nie wieder!

Wir mussten ewig auf die Karte gewartet und wurden auch danach nicht bedient. Der Laden war nicht so voll, dass man dafür Verständnis haben könnte. Wir wurden nicht einmal nach Getränken gefragt. In der gleichen Zeit fragte der Nachbartisch mehrfach verzweifelt nach der Rechnung.

Schoener Laden mit Holztischen und Holzstuehlen. Freundliches Personal, leckere Drinks. Besonders gut fanden wir die Hauptgerichte mit super knackigem Gemuese.! Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Was mir aufgefallen ist, ist die nette und freundliche Bedienung. Es war auch überraschend schnell serviert; ist man so nicht wirklich gewohnt; kaum hatte ich das Handy in die Hand genommen um Social Media zu checken, schon musste ich es quasi wieder ablegen, weil das Essen serviert wurde. Das viet. Bier hat mir pers. auch gut geschmeckt. Innen kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich bei dem schönen Wetter außen saß. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal. Samstags kann man sowieso zu Mittag außen nicht sitzen, wegen dem Wochenmarkt.

Nach dem Eigentümerwechsel, der schon etwas zurückliegt, haben wir bisher nur sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Zudem sind die Menschen, die das Lokal betreiben, supernett. Wir haben schon viel in Asien bereist und lieben insbesondere die vietnamesische Küche. Dieses Restaurant schafft es immer wieder dieses kulinarische Reisegefühl zurückzuholen.
