Viet Pho in Frankfurt am Main

The food was delicious, both the appetizer platter and the main courses. However, we waited ages for our food. The appetizer arrived quickly, but then we waited 50 minutes. Overall, the staff seemed very unmotivated and annoyed.

Absolutely loved the food as well as the spot. Friends brought me here on a rainy evening. Immediately, when you walk in, you feel transported to a tranquil, well-designed restaurant. We each picked a variety of dishes, and each was cooked to perfection. I will definitely bring folks to this spot and pretend that I found it on my own. Will have to try their Pho next time. Additionally, it appeared that they had a private space in the back where one could book. But I can't confirm.

On my first visit yesterday, I was primarily impressed by the spaciousness of the premises, the cheerful and relaxed demeanor of the two waitresses, but above all by the selection of four open white wines. I chose three appetizers at €6.90 each and was completely satisfied: two spring rolls with shrimp and pork filling plus nuoc mam dip, two summer rolls with nuoc mam dip, and a Southern Crunch—crispy pork belly with hoisin dip. My companions opted for rice noodle soups, one of which was vegetarian (very tasty), while the beef soup required a generous amount of extra seasoning from the table.

Excellent food, very friendly service. Nice seating area. Quiet atmosphere. The menu isn't overwhelming, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is good. Vegetarian options are available. 🥦🩷

Great atmosphere, and the staff gave us excellent advice! My wife's dish, Bombai (we think), was very good. My curry was good, but I felt it needed a little more spice. Of course, everyone's tastes differ. However, I received excellent advice when choosing my dish. A tip: If you're unsure which dishes are spicy, ask.

Viet Pho is a great spot with reasonable prices and really delicious food. The dishes are full of flavor, and the portion sizes are generous. It’s a perfect place to experience authentic Asian cuisine, whether you’re a fan of Vietnamese food or just want to try something new. I’d definitely recommend it for a tasty and satisfying meal.

Unfortunately, not recommended for pickup. My friend ordered the summer rolls listed on the menu as vegan. Unfortunately, they turned out to be a single shrimp-filled summer roll with no seasoning and only a watery, spicy dipping sauce. Since she's vegetarian and I can't eat seafood, we had to throw the food away. The summer roll was also more expensive than indicated on the menu. I had to wait 20 minutes for the food. Even my own food couldn't live up to the price. A disappointment!

I was out and about and ordered food at the counter. There's a wide selection. I got a good, appetizing portion. It cost about 10 euros and tasted very good.

It's a shame when you have to wait 30 minutes or more to be served.

Delicious Vietnamese food and a lovely decor. I would definitely recommend the noodle dishes, especially the one with the crispy chicken. However, the edamames were overcooked for me.

I had the pleasure of dining at Viet Pho Cuisine, and I can only say it was an all-around fantastic experience. The dish served—crispy baked chicken with a flavorful, creamy curry sauce, served with perfectly cooked rice—was not only visually appealing, but also tastefully delightful. The combination of crispy texture, spicy sauce, and fresh vegetables was perfectly balanced. I would especially like to highlight the staff: very, very friendly, attentive, and always concerned about the well-being of the guests. The cleanliness throughout the restaurant, especially in the restrooms, was impeccable, further enhancing the positive overall impression. The atmosphere was pleasantly quiet, allowing you to enjoy your meal and chat in a relaxed environment.

It's a cozy place to go out for dinner. The staff is nice and the food was very tasty.

It was truly delicious. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, and a wide variety of dishes, served quickly. From the outside, the place looks small, but inside, there's plenty of space. We made a reservation, but it probably wasn't necessary since we were there relatively late in the evening. :)

The service was very good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has an Asian theme, which creates a pleasant atmosphere.

Ich hatte die Nudelsuppe. War lecker aber fand den Geschmack nicht so stark. Die Nudeln waren gut gekocht. Das Fleisch war zart aber auch hier kam der Fleischgeschmack nicht so stark durch. Der Service war sehr gut. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und nett. Das Restaurant ist asiatisch gestaltet. Was ein gutes Feeling wiedergibt.

A great restaurant with delicious Vietnamese food. We recommend the crispy pork belly, which is rarely found in Germany, and the laksa curry soup, which has an incredibly diverse taste. Otherwise, the homemade lemonade or the smoothies that are refined with coconut milk are highly recommended. The starters are also outstanding. I can only recommend the vegetarian spring rolls! I will definitely come back!

We spontaneously visited Viet Pho. The food was delicious and the portions were large enough. The service was very nice and attentive. We got a seat by the window. Otherwise the restaurant was pretty dark. The toilets were very clean.

I tried a Phở Bò here, but unfortunately I wasn't entirely convinced. The broth was quite bland and lacked the typical depth and spice that you would expect from a good phở. The meat was okay, but overall the dish could have used more flavor. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant, but there was definitely room for improvement in terms of taste.

Wir waren schon oft im Viet Pho. Das war bisher auch immer richtig gut. Letztes Mal mussten wir festsellen, daß offensichtlich der Betreiber gewechselt hat. Die Speisekarte ist ziemlich reduziert und das Essen nicht das, was es mal war. Leider alles nicht richtig heiß und auch die Qualität ließ zu wünschen übrig. Die Bedienung schien etwas überfordert. Hat alles sehr lange gedauert.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a great location The Viet Pho Cuisine impresses with delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere and a practical location right next to the subway station. The dishes are tasty, well portioned and freshly prepared. Particularly pleasant: Despite the large number of seats, the acoustics remain pleasant and the cleanliness - especially the toilets - is also top. The waiting times are completely fine. The only negative point: the prices are a little higher, but the quality largely justifies it. Overall, a clear recommendation for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine!

I ate kimchi and a vegan rice noodle vegetable soup there. The kimchi was ok, the soup broth was totally over salted. The lime ginger lemonade tasted more like sugar than ginger and lime. Since others rate the restaurant positively, I may have been unlucky with my choice of food. The ambience looks aesthetically pleasing, but there is still room for improvement when it comes to hygiene. The floor was totally sticky.

Very good Vietnamese, it costs a few euros more but the quality is actually a few points better than some others. Highly recommended for evenings with larger groups.

We were very satisfied, both the starters and the main course were very good. We had edamame, summer rolls, fried chicken, Vietnamese noodle soup and a vegan curry. The vanilla ice cream with baked banana for dessert was even better than the main course, a classic that they did particularly well. Only the summer roll was a bit small for the price, everything else was good portions. All dishes were very attractively prepared. Service was very friendly, very attentive, we ordered a noodle soup that two of us wanted to share and they brought two bowls and the appropriate cutlery without asking. Very child friendly. Although the restaurant was busy, the food came very quickly. Of course it's a little more expensive because of Frankfurt, but for three with a lot of drinks it's just under €70 more than okay.

The interior of the building is spacious and gives a comfortable sense of space. The staff are all friendly and the food is served neatly. The rice noodles in the clear soup do not have a deep flavor, but they are rice noodles that you can eat without any likes or dislikes. The price seems a little high, but it is understandable considering its location in downtown Frankfurt.

The staff was incredibly friendly and very accommodating. The food is very tasty and authentically cooked. The ingredients are fresh and all of good quality. The waiting time was short despite the restaurant being full and the ambience is great, especially the tables are at a reasonable distance from each other, so it's very pleasant to chat and you can really enjoy the food. I have visited this restaurant a few times now and have been pleasantly surprised and convinced again each time. I will definitely come back! My personal favorite is definitely the dessert with the mango sticky rice, it is highly recommended and definitely worth a try :)

Ordered take away and the female server was rude. Was clarifying if the fried dishes for the rice is FRIED RICE or fragrant white rice, you can see her immediate unhappiness as she was not sure. When asked for disposable cutlery as none was packed for our takeaway, she showed her displeasure. When asked for a portion of chili for takeaway, displeasure was shown again. The last straw was when she gossiped about us to her two other male colleagues. Will not go back again.

Inconspicuous from the outside, but excellent on the inside, a Vietnamese restaurant with an authentic atmosphere, exemplary service and tasty food. I was warmly welcomed, shown to the table and, after briefly studying the menu, I was able to place my order, which was served within a very short time. The service works exemplary and occurs. In addition to the homely, enchanting interior design in the guest room, the plates prepared were a visual feast and a fragrant experience. First of all I had lukewarm rice noodles with strips of rump steak, onions and vegetables. The main course was MỰC XÀO SATẾ (fried squid, rice, seasonal vegetables & satay sauce). The quality of the products is in no way inferior, for my taste it could have been a little more seasoned, but this could easily be compensated for with the chili sauce/oil provided. Even though I was somewhat financially relieved with coupons (app), the portions are a bit tiny for the prices advertised, and I would have liked the odd piece of pepper or broccoli more. Toilets cleaned more than exemplary All in all, a great experience that will stay in your memory. If I didn't live further away, I would come more often, also to be convinced by the day cat. (One star deducted due to listed portion sizes - costs)

I tried the mango curry at Viet Pho Cuisine restaurant and it was delicious! The waiter was very friendly and attentive. A small point of criticism is the price of the Coca-Cola! At €5 for 0.4l I found this a bit too expensive. Overall it was a very positive visit.

Nice atmosphere and really very friendly service! We were the first guests on Saturday shortly after 12:00 and can highly recommend this time as it got very, very crowded later. Food was good, but the rice portions could have been a bit larger. The beef in oyster sauce didn't blow me away, but the curry with crispy chicken was very tasty! I would come back for that.

I tried two delicious dishes in this restaurant. The crispy katsu chicken with spicy sauce and steamed rice was outstanding - the combination of crispy crust and intense sauce was perfect. The pasta dish with fresh vegetables and meat was also delicious and beautifully garnished with coriander and fried onions. Overall, a great experience for Asian cuisine lovers. Absolutely recommended!

I ate there for the first time today with a friend because we were attracted by the ambience. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and is tastefully and qualitatively furnished, which gives you hope that you will receive equally good food. Our lunch menu (spring rolls and rice noodles with duck) has prices that are completely acceptable for such a location. Unfortunately, we weren't particularly impressed with the food. Individual wishes regarding spiciness could not be met either, there is only one standard hot sauce from the bottle. The spring rolls weren't particularly tasty and weren't really crispy (on the outside) and the sauce seemed a bit weak. The rice noodles were relatively oily and had hardly any vegetables added to them and had a very bland taste. The portion of duck seemed smaller than in some takeaway kitchens and was relatively dry. We both had almost the same assessment of this dish. There is still a lot of room for improvement and unfortunately some Asian snacks are much better.
